[oneshot; (part 1) . (part 2 will be out soon)]

.
It's bittersweet walking through the gates of the school building you would run around in with your friends almost a decade ago now.
Not a thing has changed, you can still imagine yourself chasing Shirakumo to get back your lunch while the other girls leave you behind not wanting to deal with what comes next.
This 'next' is Yamada's loud calls. Obviously, the whole of the school would know who he is looking for during the breaks. His voice made it from one end of the school to the other and that, when U.A. covers a massive swathe of land.
One of the only unfamiliar places of the school is where you're headed now– the teachers' lounge.
It's going to go well.. relax.
You're nervous, not because you've now chosen to teach in the very school you yourself became a hero but because you will finally be in front of the faces you haven't seen in ages having needed to move abroad immediately after school for your mother's cancer treatment.
The door opens before you can hold the knob revealing the same principal from years ago, you wonder if he ever ages at all.
"Just in time, (L/n)-san. I just briefed the other teachers about you." his lips curve to the same smile you've known forever and instantly, one rises up your face, he continues, "How have you been?"
"I've been doing well." you smile and enter as he open the door thereby coming into sight of all the people sitting in the room.
"That's brilliant to hear." Nezu lifts his paw, but before he can say anything else, a way-too-loud call of "(Name)-chan! You're the new teacher?" cuts in.
Nezu doesn't hold you both back from having your moment. Instantly, Yamada hurries in for a hug, "You're back– wait, I should be mad at you for not keeping in touch!"
Midnight is next, she calls you her favourite Kohai from school times and brags to everyone about the fun you all would have fun after basically lifting you and swinging you around in the hug.
The others teachers chuckle and them and tell you they haven't been their chaotic selves in some time before this.
It is during the talk with the new people around that you notice Aizawa Shouta leaned against the wall in the corner of the room, his face turned to the ground in front and a conflicted look adorning it.
Your lips twitch– he hasn't even come to greet you despite you having returned after almost a decade.
Something tells you you shouldn't be surprised, however. He has always been his 'stay out of attention' self. Maybe he didn't want to draw too much of attention to the fact that he knows you too?
But he is a teacher here so he shouldn't be complaining about attention in the first place.
Oh, whatever reason it is.
You make your way to him while the fuzziness from years ago enters your chest again. It's alright– you know you feel exactly the same way for him as you did years ago.
Or maybe whatever this is more intense. You've longed for him for almost a decade now after all.
"Shouta-kun." his name sounds melodic as it leaves your lips, "H-How are you doing?" there is a small pause, "I mean.. y-you remember me, right?"
The indifferent, unfamiliar look in his eyes makes your throat fill up with an acidic doubt. You swallow hard.
"I don't have the memory of a goldfish, (Name)-chan." he sigh and turns his head to the side, "Of course I remember you. You were way to noisy to forget back then."
"I can't tell whether that's a compliment or an insult." the laugh that escapes your lips is more of relief than amusement.
He hums, then steps away from you, turning to say, "Go figure out." before he walks off.
You halt, blinking a few times at his figure leaving the room.
"It's time for class." Yamada's arm falls on your shoulder, "It's not that he's running from you or something, okay?"
You let out a snort, "As if I'd assume that." but you partially have.
"Lie to someone else." he shakes his head, then holds his hands in front of his face, "Shouta-kun's mind is tunnel visioned to his students like this during work hours here. All of ours are– minus Nemuri-chan because she's.. well forget it, you'll get to know –but, point is, you'll have to work hard here, (Name)-chan."
"Oh, hit me with anything, Hizashi-kun." your lips tug upwards.
He frowns, "But that day I hit you with the iron rod, you cried."

"What does go figure out even mean?" your head rests against the glass window. Classes ended half an hour ago and you're proud to say you did pretty well for a first time.
"It means go figure out." Yamada gives you company to act like an idiot in front of the departing students, "What do you think it is, a compliment or an insult?"
"Totally an insult." you deadpan at him.
"At least your retardation hasn't gotten worse over the years." Aizawa's voice walks past the both of you and you and Yamada immediately jolt straight and turn to see him walk away with test papers.
"A test on the first day of school after summer break?" you shiver, "Shouta-kun's the devil to his students."
"Oh," Yamada shakes his head pitifully, "he is. Before the last year, he always told the whole class they've failed and are expelled from the school just to give them a near death experience."
"That idiot.. " your gaze lingers on his figure walking further away in the corridor. The boy you knew was just nineteen when you last saw him.
He's a man now.
They both really did age well.
Your mind prefers to place Aizawa on the top of this 'aging well' hierarchy until Midnight comes into your mind and you have to readjust with a chuckle.
To celebrate your return, Yamada drags you all into a restaurant he owns for dinner later that evening.
Partially, you hope he would have given you time to get dressed pretty for a certain pair of tired black eyes but the other part argues you've lose your head in stress of what to wear and what to not if that happened.
Conversations drag on at the table while plates empty into all of your stomachs. Being heroes means a massive diet after all.
"And then there was this weird self-obsessed-ish kid." you did try to eat decently in front of the others but they remembered how rabid you are so it was no good.
"Who– wait, I know. It's Monomoa." Yamada laughs, "No one else in 2B fits under that terminology."
"He's not self obsessed, come on." Aizawa sighs and shakes his head, "Are you seriously considering teaching at U.A. a joke?"
"I mean.. " you shrug, "they took you in so it would be pretty lousy here, wouldn't it?"
Yamada and Kayama laugh.
"Oh?" Aizawa's eyebrows raise, "Says the girl who lost a Sports Festival match because a bug got into her costume."
"For your information, it was a worm." you gag at the memory, "And it reminded me of you and your yellow sleeping bags, Shouta-kun. Now tell me then, do you want something that reminds me of you to be wiggling around my boobs?"
Yamada snorts out a glass of water to the side. Aizawa scoffs though he clearly is surprised to see you're just as shameless as you were back then.
"When will you ever grow up?" he rolls his eyes.
"When you get your hair cut short." you place the glass on the table with full confidence, ignoring the way Yamada signals you to change your statement from the side.
"Tomorrow then." Aizawa nods, his lips pulling into his signature shit-eating grin, "If you don't grow up tomorrow, you're responsible for cleaning up all toilets in the staff room."
You realize he would definitely have his hair chopped if it means rubbing this into your face, "Don't you dare touch your hair, Shouta-kun." you life your knife up at him, "Those luscious locks must stay."
While Aizawa facepalms, Kayama laughs out loud in laughter. You tell her she's laughing at anything and she replies telling you you're hilarious.
"And," you turn back to Aizawa, "if that's your way of inviting me to your bathroom, Shouta-kun, I accept the offer." the way he rolls his eyes is enough to make you stop using the playfully seductive tone.
Yamada rubs his cheeks, "Man, living with Shouta-kun's going to give me depression. I haven't laughed much yet but my cheeks already hurt. I'm so glad you're back, (Name)-chan."
"Me too." your expressions melt like butter, you flash them all a beautifully genuine smile, voice getting the slightest bit heavy, "I missed you all so much."
"If you cry, I'll puke." Aizawa comments.
"If I puke, I'll make you lick it all off." you comment back, expressions stoic and staring into space.
Aizawa makes a disgusted face. Kayama has almost actually puked out something at the thought. This sort of talk while eating effects Yamada as little as it does you.
"You took general studies too?" Aizawa sighs and decides to change the topic before you say something more gross.
"Yep."
"Anyone noticeable?"
"If you mean that purple turnip head boy with eyes as head as yours, yes. If you mean anything other than the fact that he's probably an insomniac, no." you shrug and take a bite of your food.
"That's Shouta-kun's son." Yamada snidely mentions. You choke and cough out the contents of your mouth.
"Stop it, Hizashi-kun." Aizawa tiredly leans in his chair.
"You know I won't, don't you?" he grins, "That's the kid Aizawa gives personal lessons too because the kid's quirk is brain related and– oi, he's not actually Shouta-kun's son."
"Oh?" you'd been moments away from hyperventilating and talk airily, "O-Of course.. I-I mean why would he be.. Shouta-kun's too young to have a kid that old."
"Shouta-kun wouldn't have a kid at all because he would sleep through the wedding." Kayama repeats an OG joke from the childhood and you and Yamada laugh nostalgically.
Aizawa's head lolls back tiredly, "So this is a one-sided bullying session against me?"
"Aw, don't be sad about it, Shouta-kun." you coo, "They say only the prettiest people get bitched about. I'm sure you wouldn't mind."
He turns to you, "What stupid romance novel did you read this in now?"
You blink, "What do you mean romance novel?"
"Considering your life outside fantasy is non existent." he tilts his head, "What was that fiction you would read back in the day? You remember it, Hizashi-kun?"
"Ah.. " his eyebrows raise as your ears glow red, "I'd totally forgotten.. don't remember what it was about, though."
Aizawa's grin returns, "A weird hero with silky black hair saves a girl from death and they fall in– " you cut him off before he can say something more to embarrass you.
Just as fucking oblivious about it now too, aren't you, Shouta-kun.
"You paid a lot of attention to me back then, eh, Shouta-kun." this gives you the responsive pause you need, "You even remember the details of the story. Oh my, you weren't jealous, were you?"
Take that, bitch.
The voice in your head says it in too adoring a way for you to be able to muster any sassy expressions. A soft look adorns your face instead.
Aizawa's expressions have dropped to zero. His ears well hidden under his own hair are radiating heat now, it's obvious by the unusual tint against his pale skin.
"Exposed." Yamada snickered, "Poor boy Shouta."
"Shut up, will you?" the man frowns and drops himself against the chair once more, "Fucking noisy, both of you."
"Oh my," your hand comes to your mouth, "did I just hear sensei swear? How dirty."
"I will kill you." he threatens, head turning away.
"Oh," you say in a dramatized tone, "don't you already?"
Aizawa huffs, his scarves covering his cheeks to hide the tint of pink. Kayama realises she wants to see the same colour on your face.
"First day back and she's already flirting with Shouta-kun." her snicker punches your guts, "How obvious you make your crush on him, (Name)-chan."
The effect is immediate, hot red pumps into your face. You pass her a betrayed look but she and Yamada are too busy grinning at each other to care.
Aizawa doesn't interfere or even choose to take a shot against you at this. He pretends to not have heard this at all.
Your lips curve low, it bothers you that he would not react in any way on hearing something like this.
Even if he is not interested in you, you still do wish to have some or the other sort of response from him whenever you gather the courage to confess to him but this firsthand scenario doesn't bring in much.
The cold look from the teacher's lounge appears in your mind momentarily.
You find the need to take a bathroom break.

It's been some time since you've been teaching at U.A., though it was mostly a behind-the-curtain work schedule.
Nezu has decided to make you an official homeroom teacher the next year which means you get teacher training.
"What are we doing?" you're not very sure about what Yamada is leading you into. Principal Nexu did say there is going to be a new task for you today and that your loud friend would take you to it but it definitely has nothing to do in front of Aizawa's classroom, right?
Yamada barges in, "Yeeaah!" he's just as full of energy as ever, "Good morning my lovely little listeners!"
There is a decently energetic response.
While Aizawa tells him to get out, Yamada makes an annoucement, "I'm going to introduce a new teacher to you all today! She's your sensei's very special friend."
You're not the only one who has facepalmed. Aizawa tiredly begs you to take him away with the look on his face.
The students beat you teachers to making a move, though.
"Are we talking about the new teacher you were standing beside with your head against the window with yesterday?" a girl asks.
"Bingo!" Yamada's hands point to her, "This new teacher is," you're dragged inside with one hand, "(L/n) (Name) sensei! The one person in the world who knows how to bully your sensei!"
Aizawa claps sarcastically, "Wow, what an enlightening introduction."
"You really could have done better, Hizashi-kun." you feel embarrassed to be pulled in front of everyone like this, "That's just.. "
"Whatever it is, out, both of you. Now." Aizawa orders.
You hold back from making a 'hot sensei giving orders' joke about him in front of the kids and choose to focus a little longer on the way his hair hangs around his face.
"Oi, her training session briefing is under your surveillance." Yamada tells him and Aizawa mutters something about wanting to be dead, "Take care of the both of them, you all!" he turns to the students.
They don't immediately understand.
"They could either A, fight and kill each other or B, make out and be kicked out from the– " you grab his arm and throw him out, then instantly turn to the class with a strict look.
"Don't you all dare get any funny ideas."
They all clearly push the gossip for later when they reply with a "yes ma'am".
Aizawa behind you looks like he's about to bang his head to the wall. Clearly, he isn't very eager to see his students get the wrong idea and thereby become a topic of gossip.
You honestly wouldn't step in that pit either.
"I'll only be joining you all for training session today." you have your strict face on, "If you think your sensei is bad, I'm a nightmare." but it just so happens that Aizawa snorts at that spoiling the seriousness behind your words.
When you turn to him, you find him trying to make a straight face through amusement. That, but the students can see because he's turned away from them and is walking towards you.
"Grab your suits and hurry down to training." he tells them, "And you, nightmarish teacher, come behind me."
Your jaw drops, "Are you ridiculing me, Shouta-kun?" of course the kids wouldn't mind some drama from you too, right?
Well Shouta's fault, not mine.
"Yes. I'm surprised your pea sized brain can tell." he walks out of the class leaving you behind but not any chances for you to cause the drama until the students turn to you.
"Good luck, new sensei." one of them says, "Go turn the look in your eyes to words and he'll say yes for sure.. maybe.. "
"Hey, what the hell?" you snap your head towards this blond boy with the black lighting bolt in his hair, "Behave." but he looks too conflicted to pay attention.
"Actually, he's definitely going to reject you." he speaks up a moment later, "B-But that's because Aizawa sensei has zero romance drive, not because you're not cool or something. You're super cute— ah, nevermind."
His face buries in his hands.
You don't understand whether to coo at the kid or just laugh out loud. Aizawa peeks in from the side of the door a moment later and you decide to just escape the odd situation.
Some strict nightmarish teacher you are.

"Oh, you fucking monster." your body is sore, "This was supposed to be training for the kids, not me."
"Right?" Aizawa lazily examines the papers, "It's such a shame you're so out of shape. How good you were back when we were kids."
"Says the guy who always defeated me in the sports festivals." you frown.
"You never even tried to fight." he hums, eyes focused on the training report sheets he made the students write, "Never understood that. I do remember how mercilessly you threw Hizashi out of boundaries."
"Couldn't hurt your pretty face, you know." you shrug, heat rising to your cheeks but you play it cool, "Plus Hizashi was just annoying during sports festivals."
"His quirk is being loud, (Name)-chan." Aizawa's eyes roll over to your for a moment. You find yourself admiring how well he has matured once again, "But that being put aside, how come you're this out of shape?"
I'm not out of shape, Shouta-kun..
"I was distracted by how handsome of a man you've become." you word it in a ridiculing tone but there isn't an inch of your statement that isn't true, "Oh, the jawline, the super pull-able hair and the muscles."
Aizawa rolls his eyes.
"And the eye rolls." this comes out a lot softer and warmer. You've missed his eye rolls for so long now.
"Uh-huh?" Aizawa takes half his pile of papers and gives them to you to check promising lunch if you help him with it, "What, has being single for so long started getting to you?"
An amused giggle leaves your lips, you cuddle into the couch ignoring the papers completely, "People think you're such a nice, serious guy, Shouta-kun. Me and Hizashi know."
"Know what?" his eyes linger at the papers for a little, then on a cut on your ankle.
"That's you're such a dirty little boy." you lean towards him, "Being single has gotten to me? Oh no, babyboy, you've gotten to me."
He makes a face, you immediately dramatize gag at your words to not make him doubt your words to be true.
"You're disgusting." he tells you.
"You're disgusting too. What was the need to toss me around like that in front of the students?" you frown, "I've got cuts and bruises all up my legs."
His eyes rest on the little cut on your ankle again, "Why didn't you go see recovery girl?"
"Recovery grandma?" your eyebrow raises, "She's still here?"
"Oh she is." he drops his pen and leans back into the couch too. Aizawa is tired, he needs his coffee. It's already the time of the day when Hizashi comes in with a cup of coffee for him, Aizawa doesn't understand why he's late today.
"There isn't much that has changed." you hum, head turned up towards him while leaning against the couch, "It's just you and Hizashi."
"We've changed?" his head rolls to you.
"Physically." you say, "Plus Hizashi-kun said he's seeing someone so that has changed.. are you?"
"Am I seeing someone?" Aizawa's eyes blink lazily, irises focused into yours, "The only thing I'm seeing is papers." he pulls his boots off, "So many of them."
"Do you not take breaks?" your eyes focus on the bags under his, finger going up immediately to touch the skin, "I'm worried you'll get too stressed like this and— " you're cut off by him.
"What are you doing?"
You blink, "What?"
"What are you doing? Your hand is on my face, (Name)-chan." there's a pause as he pulls his head away, "That's.. weird."
Your lips tighten, "R-Right.. sorry."
"It's fine.. " tension fills into the air, "Just.. don't do it again."
"Sure.. " your head droops along with your expressions. It's odd hearing this— it could still be him messing around with you but he'd give you an indication then.
You feel dejected, as though he's throwing you off before you even tell him how much you'd wish to drown into him.
Should I.. ?
But how can you indirectly relay your feelings to him just to make sure he doesn't actually with to reject you if you ever do.
It may just be under the tag of friendship, but there is still warmth in Aizawa's eyes when he looks at you. You know to not classify this as just friendship.
"Ah.. " your hands cover your face, "Life is moving forward, no?"
"Obviously." his head rests back.
"I knew you as a young boy, Shouta-kun. You were nineteen when I had to leave." a smile slips up your face like butter, your tone is adoring, "You've become a man now."
"What else do you expect me to become?" he shifts to the side to get better view of you.
You roll your eyes, "You probably feel what I'm talking about too, right? I was just a little girl when you last saw me."
"It just so happens that you've not grown at all." he shrugs, "Not by brains, not by height," his eyes lower from your face for a fraction of a second but Aizawa happens to have the best control over himself, he doesn't let his expressions show this at all, "so, no. I can't tell."
You, on the other hand, are shameless. Mostly.
"If what you want to say is that my boobs and hips have grown, don't be shy, Shouta-kun." you wave your hand at him, "It's not like I don't notice when you stare."
He makes an odd expression again, then turns away.
"That's weird, (Name)-chan. It's not right, don't say stuff like that."
You blink, "Not right?"
He shifts uncomfortably, gaze flickering in the air before he gets up and walks away muttering something about you stepping over boundaries.
You frown, instantly getting up and following after him.
"What's weird, Shouta-kun? What boundaries am I stepping? Let me know at least."
He doesn't stop, neither does he reply. When you don't stop following him, Aizawa just walks into the men's bathroom.
"Bitch." you cuss under your breath, eyes getting glassier for some reason. It's odd to see such behaviour from his side.
It's already been some time since the both of you have been spending breaks together, it's a coincidentally convenient schedule.
Every single time, however, there is either one or another moment where something odd crosses over Aizawa and he wouldn't talk to you anymore.
You hate it when he does this.
You hate him not talking to you and treating you like you're just any friend.
"Oh, (L/n)-san?" Toshinori Yagi steps out of the bathroom, "How come you're standing in front of the men's bathroom?" he chuckles, "Am I getting fangirling for going to the bathroom this time?"
"O-Oh.. nevermind." you're not in right headspace to pay heed to what he has just said, "Wait.. actually, please just drag Shouta-san out, sir."
He blinks, "What?"
There's only one way to end the whirlpool of anxiety in your guts.
"Just.. please drag him out of the bathroom. He's only waiting for me to leave, I'm sure."
All Might blinks but doesn't say anything as he turns and reenters the space restricted from you.
Luckily, he manages to succeed. A tired looking Aizawa steps out and sighs, "What?"
Your eyebrows twitch in annoyance, "What do you mean what, Shouta-kun? You— come with me." you grab his arm and drag him away into the pantry of the teachers' lounge.
"What do you want, (Name)-chan?" he wouldn't look at you now.
"I want to tell you you're a bitch." you huff, "A-And.. " your lips press tight, "I.. w-want to tell you.. "
"Hurry up, I have papers to check." he's clearly looking for excuses to avoid you but you don't intend to let him get his way.
"Shouta-kun.. I.. " it's so much harder than you thought it would be, you feel like crying.
Oh fuck, just let it out.
"I just.. I've always.. " a shaky breath leaves your lips, eyes closing to avoid your eyes from popping out with how fast your heart beats, "I love you."
Absolute silence follows.
When you can't take it anymore, you shoot your eyes open only to find a look of conflict and frustration on Aizawa's face. It's spontaneous– something stops in your chest and a loud ringing fills your ears.
"You.. shouldn't have said that." Aizawa's words are the only that make way to your ears though the buzz, "That's not good. It's– we're not doing this, (Name)-chan. You.. shouldn't be doing this."
Your lips shut tight, throat too dried up to speak all of a sudden.
Aizawa inhales, his face turning away and voice low and heavy, "I don't feel the same, (Name)-chan. It's concerning you feel this way.. it's hilarious of an idea in the first place."
His words act as daggers stabbing your heart.
"And.. I don't think.. I mean, of course you know I wouldn't fall for a person like you even in my nightmares." a hollow, dry chuckle escapes his lips before his head drops to the floor with his lips pressed in a thin line.
The worse they can say is no?
A voice inside you laughs at your stupid self.
" ..Right.. " your voice barely makes it out. The tear rolling down your cheek beats it, " ..Uhm.. I-I'm just gonna go.. " your feet drag you away silently.
It's hard to walk through the teachers' lounge without breathing at all. The moment you've stepped out into the empty hallways, a deep, broken exhale brings down streams of tears.
Your legs beg to give out, chest throbbing painfully making ripples of stress travel throughout your body.
Somewhere to your side, Yamada's voice calls out to you. The next moment you know, you're running out of the school building towards the teachers' dorms.
.
"How long is he going to take today?" Shinsou's feet tap against the ground, "Sensei's here around this timegenerally."
Yamada hums, his gaze focused on the ground, "You know.. I think there might be some connection to (Name)-chan and Shouta-kun's spoilt mood recently."
Shinsou blinks, "I'm not going to act like you saying that should mean anything other than them being on bad romantic terms considering there is no other sensible interpretation to your words."
The hero nods, "Yup."
"What?"
"A few days ago, I saw her running away after crying outside the teachers' lounge. I chased after her and talked but she didn't say much. Shouta-kun was gloomy that day."
"What did he say?" Shinsou throws his mask to the side and hurries to sit in front of Yamada, "You did try to talk to him, right?"
Yamada shrugs, "He wouldn't talk. Quietly walked away. He hasn't been talking much to anyone since then."
"He wouldn't even say much in class." Shinsou's head falls to his lap, "What do you think could have happened?"
Yamada turns to the side, "I know them enough to say this, I'm sure either one confessed or proposed and the other said no."
"But Aizawa sensei– (L/n)-sensei was crying, you say?"
"Yeah." the man sighs, "Two of my best friends getting off with each other. What am I supposed to do?" the both of them share looks for a moment.
Shinsou nods, catching the signal Yamada has been trying to give him all this while, "You're right, what are you supposed to do?"
It takes a couple of days to set everything up but he manages to "coincidentally" make Aizawa and you end up together for dinner with Yamada.
Neither of the two of you are happy with this, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
"Sit, you both." Yamada knows you both are hiding whatever happened from him so wouldn't refuse now that you both are already only so he wouldn't know.
"So you planned dinner?" your voice lacks any emotion at all, it is hollow and low, and is addressed only to Yamada as if sarcastically commenting on his decision.
"I did." he smiles, "Hope the both of you don't mind. I realised we need to have a talk over something."
Neither you nor Aizawa look up. Over a week of avoiding him does nothing at all to ease the pain, and you don't wish to increase the weight in your chest by catching sight of his unaffected expressions.
Yamada doesn't speak up for some time, he allows the tension in the air settle to the ground until there is more of pain, guilt and longing at the table than suffocation.
"We met first in the sports festival of the first year." he begins once the waitress has left. He's hesitant to bring this up but there's no other way, "Shirakumo-kun was against (Name)-chan. She lost but was introduced into class A and shifted from class B."
"Yeah.. w-we know the story.. " you look to the side, eyes glassy and fingers fiddling with each other.
Clearly, you're not in the mood to get nostalgic.
"It was funny to see you fall for Shouta-kun while Shirakumo-kun flirted with you all day long." Yamada lets out a chuckle as Aizawa's head snaps up at you.
You, on the other hand, widen your eyes at him in shock– you'd never expected him to bring this topic up. It feels like betrayal.
Yamada inhales, then exhales deep, "Shirakumo-kun had a crush on you, you know."
"What?"
"Yeah.. " he gives you a small smile, "He did, but he noticed your feelings for Shouta-kun and then his behaviour changed. You remember when– "
___________ May, Second year at U.A. High ___________
"Hey Shouta," Shirakumo says, "It's just ice cream. Stop licking it as if it's Yamada's popsickle."
You begin giggling, drawing attention to yourself. Aizawa feels his lips twitch into a small smile, he loves it when you laugh though this isn't something he wishes you find amusing.
He composes himself immediately and turns to Shirakumo with a frown, "Don't open your dirty mouth like that in front of a girl at least. Have some shame, Shiro." but he is ignored.
"(Name)! (Name)!" Shirakumo is busy coming up with more nonsense, "Okay, I got an idea." the rest of you turn to him, while still licking all your ice creams.
"How about you give us some advice?"
"What sort of advice?" you ask and he smirks.
"We're all poor little dreaming boys who all definitely have some or the other crush on some or the other cute friends of ours, don't we, Shouta-kun?" the boy in questions freezes, "Why don't you rate us.. or give us an overview from a girls' angle? If we're in luck, it might help some oblivious idiot see through".
"That's random." you hum, "But," there is a pause, "I'll say.. Hizashi-kun is bright, awlways optimistic and loud one. You're gonna be probably.. well, charismatic, energetic and you know what, there's some girls in our class who call you husband material."
"They do?" Shirakumo is pleased, "Did you hear that, guys?"
"Go on, bitch some more about your friends, (Name)-chan." Aizawa rolls his eyes at Shirakumo's smug expression, "You're snitching on them."
"Sometimes you should take that stick up your ass out and try some fingers." you close your eyes and give Aizawa a firm nod. Shirakumo and Yamada burst out laughing.
"What about Shouta-kun, though?" Shirakumo elbows the boy and turns back to you when his laughs dies down to chuckles.
You hum, "To me, he's like.. the definition of manliness. If testosterone is something, it's him. You know what, it's not my choice at all– Shouta-kun in general looks like a sexy tsundere guy who the girl would call daddy or something, you get what I mean?"
"Boy boy, someone's all red." Shirakumo laughs at Aizawa who just grunts and looks away. You don't have the confidence to look towards his face after all you've said either.
"He'll get lots of options for wives.. only if he didn't doze of mid-wedding." you crack the OG joke and everyone other that Aizawa snorts.
"Ay, don't be too rough with him (Name)-chan." Shirakumo exaggerates scolding you, "Our sweet sugar daddy is blushing. He might just burst if you keep this up."
Aizawa turns to him instantly and mutters a "what the fuck?" under his breath.
But Shirakumo isn't the only cheeky bitch in the group.
"Come on, sweet daddy.. " you exaggerate a coo, "Don't get mad. I'm scared you'll be too rough." and as you do, you realise Shirakumo isn't lying when he says Aizawa might burst.
His ears are steaming, cheeks blood red already. You doubt he'd be able to take another tease.
"Little kitten's blushing." Shirakumo laughs, "If I were gay, I'd be totally into him. It's too sad I'm not a single girl among us four who can crush on him."
Shirakumo gets a glare from you, you're thankful Aizawa hasn't heard him well.
___________ - ___________
"Why would you suddenly bring that up today?" Aizawa understand your behaviour from back then now only now that he has been confessed to, "Things of the past should stay in the past."
"Misunderstandings of the past should stay in the past too." Yamada looks up, "Shirakumo realised (Name)-chan's interest in you too early on. He liked it, actually. He always thought you were perfect for her and the other way around."
Aizawa's expressions drop to zero at the revelation.
"Actually.. " Yamada clears his throat, "He'd always known you push your feelings for (Name)-chan down because of his crush on her."
Your head snaps up at what you've heard.
..Shouta-kun had feelings for me back then.. ?
"He'd been trying to set the both of you up for over an year already before he.. died." silence spreads at the table, "You don't need to reject your feelings for (Name)-chan anymore, Shouta-kun."
Aizawa stares hard at the table, you look between him and Yamada. Nothing seems to set properly in your brain, you don't know what's going on.
"You don't need to reject her in loyalty to our dead friend. He didn't die loving her, he died hoping the both of you would give each other a chance.. "
Aizawa doesn't know what to say, his lips part to speak but no voice leaves.
"She's not his, dude. Don't label her like that.. just.. free yourself from this burden. Shirakumo-kun didn't die loving her."
Silence prevails at the table for far too long. Yamada looks uncomfortable with this silence. He keeps on looking between your and Aizawa's fallen faces.
"Why didn't you ever tell me?" Aizawa's voice is so low it barely feels the words have left his mouth.
Yamada sighs, "I thought you knew.. " he waits for a little more time before getting up with an "enjoy dinner, you two. Talk it out." and leaves.
Neither you not Aizawa says anything for even longer– you're losing your patience now. Tears build up in your eyes.
You do understand that he needs time to digest the revelation as much as you do but the past week of heartache has barely left anything for you to stay silent with.
The only desire you have is to know how he feels about you now. That, but you don't know how you'll ever talk to him again after all he has said.
Aizawa looks up a moment later, his eyes unusually and surprisingly glassy, "I'm sorry.. " he begins, " ..for everything."
And though you did not think this could ease any of your pain, you find yourself crying into your hands a moment later. This time, he's there to calm you.

There For You |Shota Aizawa X Reader| HC

Summary: Aizawa steps up after Oboro's death, but panics when things get a bit too real.
Warnings: TEEN PREGNANCY! AFAB reader. Set one year ahead for story purposes. Mentions of death. Implication of sex, but no actual smut.
Masterlist Ko-fi
- - - - -
You'd known Oboro your entire life. Your mother's were best friends and had planned their pregnancies, so you were only a few months apart.
You two were close as could be - playing, having sleepovers, and studying together always. When his quirk manifested and yours didn't, he made a promise to always protect you.
When high school came around and you were both accepted to UA (him under the hero course and you in general studies), he kissed you for the first time.
That kiss was just the beginning of a wonderful relationship. He was doting and loving, just as he'd always been, but the connection was deeper now.
In his time at UA, he made great friends, ones that accepted you as a part of the package deal. Your group was a match made in heaven. You were happy he had such a wonderful support system.
You remember how excited he was when he was accepted to the Purple Revolution Agency with Aizawa for his work study. You praised him for his hard work and celebrated that night. If you had known what would've come of it, you'd have begged him to take any other offer.
Shouta was the one to tell you. You'd come home from school to a house full of pros and officers, confused as to what happened. He quickly escorted you outside and explained the day's events to you.
The news of his death was absolutely gut-wrenching, especially since you'd only recently found out you were eight weeks pregnant.
At the time, you'd panicked, horrified of the social repercussions sure to come. But now? Now you were thankful to have something left from him.
"Oboro... asked me to take care of you. Both of you."
Shouta was there from then on. Not that he'd been lacking in presence beforehand, but now he was more dutiful.
He shut down any attempts you made to push him away, assuring you that any support and companionship he provided to you was of his own free will, and not because of any promise he'd made to Oboro before his death. He did make a promise, yes, but even if he hadn't, he'd still probably be here.
Hizashi and Nemuri helped as much as they could, but choosing to be front-line heroes complicated things more than Shouta's underground work.
Once the baby came, a beautiful little girl you'd named Kumori, Shouta's life felt a little less empty.
He'd been so preoccupied with finishing school, starting his career, and supporting you, that he hadn't allowed himself the space to cope with the loss of his best friend. He'd been well aware of the void Oboro had left, but never really paid much mind to it.
But now he felt like didn't need to. Like all the grief had resolved itself and he instantly jumped from denial to acceptance.
Kumori became his pride and joy. He spent all of his free time with you and her. Aside from night patrols and the occasional assignment, he didn't have much going on, making things all the easier for your makeshift family to function.
He took her to the park and played with her. They watched movies together and usually fell asleep halfway through. On days he was busy, he'd always make sure to check in with a text, something you always appreciated.
When she started to talk, her first words were of course 'dada' and directed at him. It stirred up something unsettling with him. He apologized profusely, not realizing that he had inadvertently stolen Oboro's spot in her life.
"Don't be silly, Shouta."
Such a simple response to such an insanely complex situation. He wasn't sure how to take that kind of response or the problem at hand in general, so he decided to take a step back from you two.
That night, when he went home after his patrol, he stayed home. You texted asking where he was and if he was okay, and that only made him spiral more.
What was he doing? Taking Oboro's spot in your life. Raising his child, spending the night with his girlfriend, and having dinner with his parents.
How pathetic.
He didn't go over the next night, or the one after that. Before he knew it, an entire week had passed and he hadn't so much as responded to your messages. He couldn't. Not with the dread and guilt he was feeling.
There was a knock at his door. He looked at the time and groaned; nearly six in the morning. He got up and looked through the peephole, relaxing when he saw Hizashi's bright yellow hair.
"What are you doing here?"
He pushed his way into Shouta's apartment.
"Y/N has been going crazy blowing up our phones. Nemuri and I have tried covering for you, but I think it's time you're honest with me."
Shouta wasn't sure why, but he unloaded onto Hizashi at that moment. He spilled everything uncontrollably in a long, incomprehensible rant. This completely caught Hizashi off guard. H wasn't expecting anything other than an argument to ensue if he was being honest.
Shouta told Hizashi everything. How he practically lived with you, how he raised your daughter, how he felt like he'd taken advantage of such a loss.
It took Hizashi a few minutes to let everything sink in. He was confused at first. The way you and Shouta spoke about your relationship made it seem like he had more of an uncle-type role in Kumori's life. He was surprised to find out he was so involved. Of course, Shouta always claimed to be busy, but he and Nemuri had assumed he was lying to get out of things.
Shouta gave him an expecting look after a few minutes with no response. Hizashi apologized, too caught up in his thoughts to realize he'd totally zoned out.
"I think Oboro would be more upset if he found out you'd abandoned his kid."
"I'm being serious, Mic."
"So am I."
They stared at each other for a moment.
"She thinks I'm her dad. What kind of piece of shit steals their friend's life after he dies, huh?"
"You're crazy if you think like that, dude. Would you prefer she be all alone? Or his kid grow up with out a dad? He asked you to take care of them for a reason."
"It just feels wrong."
A smug smile crept its way onto Hizashi's face.
"You love her, don't you? That's why it feels so wrong."
Aizawa looked at his friend like he was sick in the head.
"What are you on about? Don't be ridiculous."
But the more the thought about it the less ridiculous it sounded.
He loves his life. He loves you and your daughter, something he's well aware of, but now he's questioning what sort of love he held for you two.
He'd never tried to label it before, but now that he was trying to, he found any other type of love to be unfulfilling.
"You need to leave."
He pushed Hizashi out, not leaving any room for him to argue.
Shouta took a breath to calm himself down before grabbing his things and heading out as well.
He made it to your house in record time, relieved to see only your car in the driveway. He knocked on the door and waited patiently.
When you opened it and saw him, you quickly reached out and pulled him in for a hug. He returned the gesture, holding you tighter than he had before. After a moment, you pulled away, and promptly punched him square in the chest.
"Where the Hell have you been?!"
Just like he did with Hizashi, he told you everything. All the thoughts and feelings that had been eating at him this past week, the guilt and anxiety that plagued him, and what Hizashi had said.
"When Oboro told me to look after you, I don't think this is what he meant."
"Believe it or not, we actually talked about this before he died."
Shouta looked at you bewildered.
"Not this specifically, Shouta," you laughed, "He told me if he ever died, he would want me to continue living. I think he'd be happy for all of us."
Oboro knew there was significant risk in his line of work. He didn't expect to die so young, of course, but it's all the same. He would hate for you to never love again. To be all alone in the world or lose all ambition.
"Please, never let my death be the end of you."
His words always lingered in your head. It's why you never felt any type of way about Shouta's involvement in your and your daughter's lives. It made you happy, and that's all anyone could ask for.
"So... what does this mean for us?"
You weren't sure how he'd take the question. He didn't seem too content with whatever it was racing through his head.
Shouta leaned forward and kissed you. When you leaned in and responded, he grew more confident. He put his hands on your face and you bunched yours in his shirt. He pulled away and looked at you.
"I think he was right. I think... I do love you."

Hey!
Just an idea… Aizawa x pro hero!reader with the reader being the sister to Oboro Shirakumo and both Aizawa and reader finding out oboro’s body is a vessel as “Kiriogiri” to the LOV.
I really enjoy this idea… havnt done Aizawa so you get a star. Not proof read because I don’t like rereading my own work but I will sooner or later.
:angst
Shouta Aizawa x oboros sister! Fem! Reader
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
You were confused, truth be told all three of you were. The safety comity specifically requested for you your husband and hizashi to be escorted to tartarus. You were annoyed truely you were. You had things to do and papers to grade.
“Excuse me but what exactly are we doing here? We’re busy people we don’t have enough minutes in the day to spend doing busy work” you rolled your eyes as you felt shouta grasp your hand signaling for you to stop whining.
“Loud Cloud, you’ve been specifically requested, for what I am not authorized to disclose.” The guard said with a touch of nervousness in his voice. You were known to be quite a blunt and let’s just say difficult person.
“Yeahyeah cmon [name] you know there’s gotta be something totally important if they want to deal with you!” Hizashi said in his usually loud voice with his pointer fingers.
“Yeah like they’d willingly face your wrath.” Shouta said with a barely noticeable smirk.
“I hate you both.” You said as you turned around the corner the guard pressed his key to the reader that opened another door. There were two more guards standing on the opposite side who requested any items you had. You and Shouta only had your phones keys wallets while Hizashi dumped out years worth of gadgets.
“Cleared proceed. Follow me.” The female guard said walking down another large stretch of hallway and at the end awaited the police captain the head of the prison and the safety comity lady.
“Hello Eraserhead, loudCloud and present mic. It’s wonderful to have you, but before you go in we must disclose some information about the prisoner we’ve brought you to see.” The lady said.
“Inside we have the infamous Leage of villain member kurogiri, he was formally known as someone all three of you were well acquainted with, now we must brace you for this particular piece of information” sherif relented and I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. All three of us nod side eyeing each other as I grab onto shoutas hand.
After a pause he continues “we’ve found out that kurogiri is a nomu of sorts and the vessel is oboro shirakumo” I felt my breath get stuck in the back of my throat and eyes widen.
“My brothers been dead. That’s impossible.” I said my voice slightly raised.
“I saw him with my own eyes that cant be.” Shouta voiced barely above a whisper his eyes wider than mine.
“No way man he can’t be alive, it’s just not possible.” Hizashi yelled eyebrows etched into a deep pinch
“That’s what we thought too, but we’ve confirmed that is him.” Sherif confirmed. “We’ve brought you here today to se if you’d be able to tap into Shirakumo’s conciseness and bring him back” the comity lady sighed
My head felt dizzy and my hands started shaking I couldn’t believe it. ‘I saw him die, I caused his death.’ I thought u til I was pulled out by my husband grabbing my hand and squeezing it tightly.
Without another word they opened the door to his cell. There were three chairs and a small table that had water bottles and tissues placed on it. They pulled Shouta aside while me and Hizashi took our seats. I stared at the figure in front of me behind the glass.
“They’ve rid him of everything Zashi, they took his eyes, his freckles, his smile.” My eyes watered as I took in his appearance. A figure you’ve come acquainted with as you’ve caught him before.
“I know” zashi said quietly and Shouta walked in sitting on the last seat quickly activating his quirk.
Hizashi was the first to speak. Begging oboro to give a response that he was still in there to no avail. Then Shouta tried he gave a heart breaking speech about his teachings and how much he affected his life to no avail.
“My name is kurogiri. I am here to assist to master Shigaraki” was all he said in response to them.
“Do you remember when we had began at UA, in our first year I wanted to give up? I tried to quit and drop out but you never let me! You said I had such a bright future as a hero, that I had a smile that’d heal the world.” I yelled into the glass. “Truth be told you saved me! You were my brother but before that you were my hero! I prayed every night that it was a dream or cried that I should have been the one to die that day not you. I won’t give up on you because you never gave up on me. I am a hero because you were mine. My hero.” I hadn’t even noticed that I was crying or that I had stood up until Shouta pulled me into his side. “I wanted to be like you for so long. I coppied your hair color and practiced my smile in the mirror, hell I even took your hero name. You’re still my oboro” I finished tears pooling on the ground
“My name is kurogiri. I am here to assist master shigaraki” was all he said in response.
“No your name is Oboro shirakumo. You’re my brother.” I whispered looking into his void of a face.
“[name] sit down it’s going to be okay, it’s going to be okay” my husband tried to reason but I couldn’t my body wouldn’t let me do anything.
“We’re done here, we’ve tried everything it’s not going to work” Shouta yelled towards the door and the prison keeper opened the door.
I was still sobbing and for a split second I felt that oboro had came through I couldn’t tell you how or give any proof but I knew he did.
✧༺༻✧
We arrived home after a silent car ride. I slid my shoes off as Shouta did his. We hadn’t said a word to each other. We both knew that if we did that’s we would end in tears.
I turned on the shower taking a quick body bath. After wards I laid in bed and silently sobbed into the comfort of the soft sheets. I felt the bed dip as the familiar body of my husband laid down besides me. After a minute he pulled me into him holding me silently but I felt his tears on the back of my neck and the short shallow breaths he let out.
“It’s going to be okay.” We both said at the same time making us giggle.
There was truth to my words. We would be okay, because I still had Shouta. And as long as I had him then I had a piece of oboro.

lacrosse and cheer- hanta sero x f!reader
summary: in a quirkless AU, hanta sero and our dear reader find themselves in a fake relationship to ward off exes (toru hagakure & juzo honenuki). maybe they’ll fall in love?
authors note: okay this has been BREWING for the past couple of weeks and i’ve finalized the plot and everything. weekly updates, our lovely class 1A will be aged up to 3rd years, class 1B appreciation alright, reader is part of the dekusquad.
chapter 8: christmas & many seasons
DECEMBER-FEBRUARY
warning: smut at the end of this chapter!!!!
you sat down in the 1b common room with juzo. your feet were tucked under you as you took a sip from your mug. “im sorry for finally being able to get to this conversation juz” you smile sadly and he waves you off. “its fine i love seeing you happy again” he smiles at you and you give him one back.
“so the day of the break up” you start and let out a huff setting your mug down on the table. juzo leans his head on his hand and stares at you intently. “i was a bitch” you said letting out a small chuckle. “i’ve apologized many times now and im sorry i humiliated you in front of both A and B classes” you said with your head hung low.
“i did love you juz, i still do feel that love for you” you said smiling sadly at him and he returned it to you. “i loved hanta at the time too, i’ve had this massive crush on him since our first year i swear” you said letting out a small laugh.
“know that i’ll always still have that love for you too” he said softly and you smiled at him. “first loves come on now” he said nudging your shoulder and you laughed. “youre my best friend and im sorry for how i treated you in the past” you said leaning your head on his shoulder.
“its okay” he said fiddling with his fingers and resting his head on yours too. “i dont think i can be with anyone for awhile though” he admits and you furrow your eyebrows. “whys that?” you hummed looking at his fingers as he played with them. “just a lot on my plate, having a girlfriend seems like a recipe for disaster right now if i cant give her the time she deserves” he explained and you nodded.
“well when that day comes where you decide to give it a shot i better be the first to know not tetsutetsu” you giggle as you glanced over at tetsutetsu. he was bothering itsuka and neito with something. classic tetsu. “so plans for the holidays?” he asked and you shrugged.
“hanta and i are planning a joint christmas party with our families and be back here for new years with everyone” you nodded your head and he does the same. “sounds nice” he says and you look up at him. “and you? what are your plans?” you asked and he shrugs.
“still debating on it” is all he answers and you dont push it. “now missy there is one thing we havent gone over” juzo said shifting his body to turn to yours. “which is?” you said confused. “how good was shoto?” he whispered to you and your eyes widened.
you smacked his arm. “juzo how could you bring it up” you said playfully. “hmm” you said leaning back thinking about it. “i give it 8/10” you said giving juzo a smirk. “it was pretty good” you said throwing your hands in the air defensively.
“it was very soft, slow, but also passionate if that makes sense?” you said and juzo nodded. “yea could tell it was so good by the hickies he had left, wondered how the poor boy’s back looked like” he said indicating your nails.
“oh it was bad, his neck, chest, and back” you shrugged and smirked. “poor hanta too he has to go through that” he said leaning back. “bro likes it cmon now” you joked and he laughs. “the marks just show how much i love him” you wink and he pushed your head lightly while laughing.
“you nasty” he said shoving you lightly. “are we shoving y/n now?! i wanna do it too!” you heard tetsutetsu yell out and he came over shoving you lightly and jumping down to sit on the other side of you.
“you got a little something right there” tetsutetsu says smirking and doing a little circle motion to a spot on your neck. “conversations done im heading back to my room” you said pushing him off of you and pulling juzo with you.
“walk me back loser” you smiled and juzo followed you out as you waved bye to the others. he gives you a hug as he drops you off at the door of the dormitory complex. “bye juz” you squeezed him lightly as you both pull away. “i’ll see you later y/n” he said and turned around to start walking back to his dormitory complex.
you walked in to find denki, hanta, eijiro, and katsuki surrounding eri, showing her something. you sigh as you watch and decide to help the poor girl out. “alright thats enough what are you losers showing her?” you said placing your hands gently on eri’s shoulders.
“how to play on the nintendo switch” eri answered for them and you squinted your eyes at the screen. your eyes widened and you immediately took the controller away from eri and scooped her up. you covered her eyes and ears. “guys she’s 7 years old” you hissed at them and denki shrugged.
“whats the big deal its just a bunch of zombies anyway” he defended and you stopped walking. “imagine how mr. aizawa would feel if he caught your dumbasses” you hissed some more and walked away with eri. “means im in trouble guys” you heard hanta say and he followed you into the elevator.
you smacked his arm as the boys let out “oooh’ss”. you looked up at hanta as eri wrapped her small arms around your neck. “what were you thinking??!??” you scolded him and he shrugged. “it was denki’s idea” he shrugged and you squinted your eyes at him.
“what are your plans for christmas?” eri asked which made the two of you turn to her. “were going home and having a small christmas party with our families” you smiled at her and she gave you one back. “how about you? what are you and mr. aizawa doing?” hanta asked her.
“were doing something with uncle hizashi, uncle oboro, and auntie nemuri” she said nodding her head confirming it. “aww how nice” you smiled and she nodded. “we’ll be back for new years, will you guys be too?” she asked and you nodded. “planning a class 3A & 3B new year party, mina and eijiro are planning it” hanta said as the elevator dinged and it opened.
hanta led you to his dorm and you put eri down as she walked in. she immediately runs to the hammock and lays down closing her eyes. “now eri” you start and she looks st you, eyes widened. “do not tell your dad what these idiots showed you okay?” you told her and she nodded her head in understanding. you high-fived her. “atta girl” you said laughing.
ᡣ𐭩 •。ꪆৎ ˚⋅
CHRISTMAS
you walked around your living room as your brought more wine for hanta’s parents. they thanked you as you poured it into their wine glasses, giving you a big smile. “you chose right son” his dad said and you blush as you motion for hanta to follow you into the kitchen.
the kitchen was lonely and you placed the wine onto the counter and turned to him. you smiled up at him as you reached up to plant a kiss onto his lips. his hands immediately wrapped around your waist. “mhm i love you” you mumbled against his lips as you smiled.
you felt him smile too as he cupped your face in his hands and kissed you more passionately. “i love you more” he mumbled against your mouth. “hey quit locking lips over there!” your mom yelled out and you pulled away laughing.
"come over here it's time for gift exchanges!" hanta's mom said excitedly as she moved towards the tree with her husband in tow. "cmon" you said dragging hanta with you. you sat next to each other as you grabbed your gifts for each person.
"can i go first please?" you asked and looked around and everyone nodded their heads. you passed out your gifts to hanta's parents, his twin sisters, hanta, and your mom. you sat nervously as they opened them.
they all loved their gifts and exchanged thank you's and hugs with you. after gift exchanging, hanta pulled you aside to give you one more gift secretly. "for you my princess" he smiled as he extended the gift to you. he sat on one of the stools in the kitchen as you stood between his legs.
you opened the mini box and gasped. his name on a necklace. you pulled it out and examined it. "it's so beautiful" you gasped as you held it with shaky hands. "here" he says grabbing it and motioned for you to turn around. he clasps it onto your neck and you turn around smiling.
"you so deserve head after this" you giggled and pulled him in for a kiss. "mhm you think i do?" he says against your lips. "duh" you said with a smirk as you walked upstairs after seeing no one was paying attention. "wait seriously now?" he questions as he gets up adjusting his crotch area and hurriedly walks up the steps.

NEW YEARS EVE
you walked in to the dorm complex hand in hand with hanta. "hey theyre back!" eijiro exclaimed coming over to hug you and fist bunp hanta. "how was the drive man?" he asks hanta and he only sighs. "tiring" he sighs as he moves to fist bump katsuki and denki.
eri came into view and ran to hug your legs. "yay youre back!" she exclaims and you scoop her up. "how was christmas?" you ask her as eyes light up. "can i show you what dad, uncle hizashi, uncle oboro, and auntie nemi got me?!" she asked excitedly as she jumped out of your arms.
she ran towards her room and you laughed watching the energetic little girl. mina came out with decorations as she asked eijiro and the boys to help out. "rikido is baking sweets for the party!" mina called out and it's then you can smell bread and it smells wonderful.
eri came back and led you to sit on the sofa and she gave you a presentation of all the toys and clothes she received. she excitedly ran to hanta and dragged him over to sit down on the couch as she started once more. you went to go help the others as eri ran off with all her gifts back to her room.
within an hour and a half the common room was set up and ready for guests to start coming in. juzo, tetsutetsu, itsuka, neito, and yosetsu came in with the rest of class B trailing behind them. "thank you for inviting us" juzo said as he pulled you into a hug and moved on to fist bump hanta and the others. "OUR GIRL!" tetsutetsu yelled out and you laughed. "yup she's here" you said opening your arms for a hug.
he crashes into your arms, lifting you up slightly. he places you down and grasps onto your shoulders. “you know i love you right?” he says tilting his hesd as he bent down slightly to meet your eyes. “aww you love me?” you said childishly as you give him a cheesy smile.
“duh like my little sister” he says flicking your forehead. he kisses your forehead and stands up to his full height. “HEY EIJIRO” he yells out which causes you to flinch at the sudden raising of his voice. “MY MAN” they both say as they fist bump each other and give a brotherly hug.
more of class B piles in and its a full common room. eri runs around greeting everyone and you cant help but smile. kyoka’s playlist plays in the common room and some people are dancing. hizashi and nemuri are dancing and having fun.
“KEIGO TAKAMI IS AT MY PARTY” mina exclaims as she sees keigo and you laugh. “keep it together mina” you said bumping your hip into hers. keigo turns around and sends a wink to you and mina. you sigh adoringly as you watch him walk away and towards mr. aizawa.
“boo!” you heard and jumped up when someone planted their hands on both yours and mina’s shoulders. you turned to see yuga there as he throws his arms around the both of you. “a new year” he says somewhat sadly. you turned to him confused.
“why the sad tone yuga?” you asked kindly as you ran your fingers through his blond hair. “it means we graduate soon, off to different paths” he says and you smile at him. “we’ll make the most of it okay?” you said and he smiles and nods.
mina pulls him out to dance and you laugh watching them walk away. someone covers your eyes as two others grab onto your shoulders. “aw you caught me” you said sarcastically with a giggle. “guess who?” one said and you smile upon hearing his voice. “tenya i know its you” you said as momo giggled off to the side.
“shoto and izuku” you said and they pulled away and tackled you in a hug. “my favorite boys” you smiled so widely as you tried to hold them all in your arms. you failed considering they towered over you. you looked at everyone and your friends smiled at you. “we’ve missed you” tenya said nudging your shoulder and you look up at him.
“im sorry” you said with a sad smile. “its not my intention, you guys are my bestest friends ever” you said and they all stared at you with a smile. “dont apologize its okay, just you know you can bring hanta along right? we dont hate him” momo said pulling you into a hug.
“i know” you said accepting her embrace. “lets go dance!” ochaco exclaimed pulling you and momo along with her. the three of you danced, stumbling and giggling. tenya came and wrapped his arms around momo’s waist and she melted in his embrace. “awww” you gushed as izuku came up and did the same with ochaco.
strong arms wrapped around your waist as you turn to see hanta. you smiled and got on your tip toes to place a kiss on his lips. “countdown is starting” he mumbles against your lips as you moved to the couch. you watched the screen as everyone in the common room started the countdown.

“happy new year!!” everyone exclaimed and you giggled. hanta pulled you in gently and crashed his lips onto yours. you grab his arm and kiss back with so much force and passion. you both pulled away and he pulled you into him kissing your cheek as you let a series of giggles.
“i love you” he said as he stares in your eyes. “i love you more” you said smiling at him. mina and eijiro stood behind you two, snapping pictures of the moment for the two of you. “this is so cute!” mina gushed as eijiro pulled her in for a kiss.
eri ran around giving hugs to everyone and wishing them a happy new year. juzo walked up to you and smiled at you. “happy new year juz” you said pulling him into a side hug. “watch out” he warned as tetsutetsu came crashing into your arms crying out a “happy new year”, he was clearly drunk.
“aww tetsu” you joked patting his head as he clinged to your side. itsuka, yosetsy, and neito came in to join the group hug. “aw i love you guys” you gushed hugging them tighter if it was even possible. an hour or two later, the party was over and everyone went off to their respective dorms.
you grabbed onto the end of hanta’s shirt, smirking. “up to mine?” you said in a teasing tone. “how bout mine?” he offers and your eyes light up. “mhm yes” you sighed and he took your hand in his, leading you to his dorm. “can we use the hammock?” you said smiling and he stops to look at you. “youre on to something” he said picking you up and enetering his dorm and locking it.

SHOTO’S 18th BIRTHDAY
you set everything up in his dorm room, with the help of ochaco and momo. hanta, izuku, and tenya took him out for a run to be able to pull this mission off. “okay it looks great” you smiled as you took a step back to admire the work you, ochaco, and momo did.
“aww for our sho” momo said taking a picture of the setup. the three of you walked out of shoto’s dorm room and walked down to the common room to wait for the boys. 20 minutes later they came running in, shoto coming in first.
“hi sho” you moved to get up and greet him as hanta, izuku, and tenya followed in after. “happy birthday!” you said pulling him into a hug. “im sweaty” he says and you shrugged waving it off and hug him.
“alright im up to my room” he said and you all watched him go up the steps, you all followed after a minute. you made it to the fifth floor and stop to see he opened his door already. he’s stood there looking at it in awe. “do you like it sho?” ochaco said as she walked up to him and placing a hand on his shoulder.
he walks in further and you all follow to get his reaction. 6 gift bags lay neatly on his bed, the number 18 floats above his bed as multiple red and white balloons scatter around his room and bed. he picks up the card that comes from all of you, but written in your handwriting.
he turns around to face all of you. “you guys did this?” he says as his eyes gloss over. he looks down at the card with shaky hands. worry flashes over your face and you move to place a hand on his shoulder. “im sorry s-“ you got cut off by shoto scooping you up in his arms.
you feel tears coming from him and you stroke his hair, calming him down. “thank you” he chokes out as his grip on you goes tighter. you shush him softly as he pulls away to look at you. “aww” you say softly as you wipes his tears away.
his grip on you softens as he moves towards the others, embracing them and thanking them. “you guys didnt have to” he said wiping his tears away and calming down. “we wanted to sho” ochaco said with a soft smile. “you mean the world to us man” tenya said throwing an arm around his shoulder.
“you wanna light up the candle?” you asked as you moved to grab the small cake, rikido had baked, and held it in front of shoto. “i want to with everyone, cmon lets go” he said as he walked out of his dorm room.
the boys called everyone out and once everyone was settled in the common room, you lit the candles. you sang happy birthday to shoto and he blew them out. “thank you guys this means so much to me” he smiles at everyone and you all go in for a group hug.
VALENTINES DAY
you woke up next to hanta and looked up smiling. what ended up a tickle fight, turned into the both of you knocking out. you sit up and admire his face. “‘m youre staring babe” he mutters as he smiles. he pulls you down and hovers over you. “happy valentines day” you said leaning up to kiss him.
he kisses back and parts your legs to settle between them. you moan softly and he smirks against your mouth. he moves to kiss your neck and you tilt your head up to give him acess. his hands roam your body as yours do the same with him. “do you want to?” he asks when he lifts his head up. “duh” you said with a playful tone.
he leans over to grab a condom from his bedside table. he leaves it unopened as he continues to kiss your neck. you were already only wearing panties so you feel him growing hard and you smirked. hanta moves his knee gently to rub against your clit and you gasp at the sudden action.
“keep doing that” you sigh in pleasure as he continues his actions. he goes to remove your panties and easily slides in 2 fingers to stretch you out. he kisses you as he works on stretching you out. you turn your head to look at the condom. “hey” you get his attention as he stops and looks at you.
“yea” he says confused as he moves a strand behind your ear. “can we go at it raw? just this one time i promise” you asked cautiously and he hovers there thinking it. “i pull out right?” he says still trying to wrap his head around the question. “yea silly” you giggle and he looks down at you. “fuck yea” he says kissing you.
he continues his movements as a series of moans left your mouth. “that feel good?” he asks cockily and you moan in response. “fuck” you whine as his fingers on your clit sped up. youre about to cum when he pulls his fingers away. “hey” you whine out as he spreads your legs and aligns himself with your entrance.
“you sure about this?” he asks before he enters. “yes 1000 times yes hanta” you said and thats all he needs to hear before entering you. it feels different, a good different. you both moan together as he enters all the way. “holy shit that feels so good, you feel so good” he praises as he starts moving slowly.
you dont have the words, moans slip out of your mouth as you babble incoherently. you wrap your arms around his neck as his finger goes down to play with your clit. you arch into him and he lifts your leg holding it in place for you. this new angle hits your g-spot perfectly.
you both whine and moan together as this feels so different, but oh so good. after this you probably will never go back to condoms. he wraps his arms around you pulling you close to him. “i love you so much” he says as he kisses you ultimately failing as a moan slipped out from his lips.
“i love you more” you whine out as you feel your orgasm coming. “right there hanta dont stop” you moan out as you arch into him, playing with his hair. “im gonna cum hanta” you pant as the familiar feeling creeps up, ready to snap. “cum on my dick baby” he moans out as he speeds up his finger on your clit.
you cum just from those words alone and he helps you ride it out. his thrusts get sloppier and its then he pulls out and jerks off the rest. he cums on your stomach as he rides out his orgasm. you’re both panting as you savor each other’s presence.
“lets never use condoms again” you manage out as you look hanta in the eyes. he moves to grab his shirt off the floor and wipes your stomach off along with your cum dripping from your thighs.
“lets shower and then i got a surprise for you” he says as he gets up and picks you up, carrying you to the bathroom. “hanta!” you giggle all the way there.

Emotional Support Werewolf! Shouta Aizawa x Reader You were staring at your list, trying to remember where the last item you needed was, something you needed since it helped with your food sensitivity. You were out of the item at home, and you needed more as you used the item every day. You were there with Shouta, your emotional support boyfriend, who was a werewolf hybrid that you had been with for five years. He stood still long enough for you to grab onto the handle on the back of his vest he was wearing, as he looked around the area, keeping an eye out for any threats or things that would stress you out. He kept looking back at you as you were muttering to yourself about what needed to happen throughout the rest of the day. He stopped walking, took your hands in his before looking you in the eyes, and cupped your face.
“Y/n, I’m picking up that you’re beginning to stress out. Is it because of your safe food? Let’s just find the item and see if they have it in stock. If not, we will find out where it's in stock or order it online.” Shouta told you as he walked with you through the aisles to where your safe food item was. The aisle is mostly empty, except for a woman who was wearing a short, angled bob dyed a tacky blonde, and a leopard print shirt. She had an oversized purse, and you saw a few containers of your safe food in the shallower basket of her cart, along with her oversized purse. You inhaled sharply and Shouta had you grip onto handles that were on the sides of his vest, gently guiding you behind him as he pushed the car.
“That woman seems like the kind to be a nuisance and an entitled customer,” Shouta spoke quietly to you as he pushed the car slowly on the other side of the aisle and stopped just in front of where the item you needed would be stocked. You glanced up and saw that the shelf was empty. Your eyes widened, looking to the other woman’s cart as she was typing on her phone with her excessively long nails that clacked on the glass screen, making you clamp your headphones tighter over your ears, whimpering slightly. Shouta felt you move away from him, and he turned to face you, blocking the woman from being able to look at you. “Hey, hey. Shh. It’s okay. We will find your food online or in another store.” Shouta spoke, putting his hands on your arms, trying to get you to look him in the eyes. You finally locked your gaze with his, and he guided you through some calming breaths until he was tapped on the shoulder. He turned to see who it was, and the woman was looking at him with a mixed look of annoyance and concern.
“Are they okay? What’s wrong with them?” The woman asked, folding her arms and huffing annoyedly. Shouta’s eyes narrowed, and he got you to hold on to the handle of the cart, working through some grounding exercises before using his body to make a barrier between you and this other woman. “They’re experiencing a panic attack right now and are going through a calming exercise. It’s best that you don’t interfere right now, as you could make their panic attack worse.” Shouta spoke. The woman scoffed and rolled her eyes.
“What are they panicking over? Not being able to get some of this delicious Almond milk? Too bad. I’m on a vegan, liquid-only, high-protein, low-fat fat, and it requires this milk for my smoothies. My dietitian recommended this diet so I can have the perfect summer body.” She spoke in an overly sarcastic tone that made Shouta’s nerves grate against each other, and a low growl emitted from his chest that caught both you and the woman off guard.
“I’d advise you to leave before things get worse, ma’am. I will get security if you push this further. It’s not nice to hog something that someone with an actual medical condition needs in their daily routine.” He spoke, tapping on the Service Hybrid Association badge on his tactical grade vest he was wearing. “Oh, so you’re one of those support mutts these snowflake millennials are getting for panic attacks? They should learn to toughen up when something is out of stock.” The woman spoke. Shouta’s eyes narrowed, and he turned back to you as you were now fixated on counting the multiples of cans in the soup pallets. He put his hand on the small of your back as the woman was huffing impatiently as Shouta guided you away from the aggravating woman.
“C’mon, Y/n. Let's get you out of here. We will see if they have any in the back so you can get some and we can go home.” He spoke as he guided you out of the aisle and turned you to face him. “I need to tell the security guards about that rude woman. Can you come with m,e or do we need to check out and get you to your safe spot to wait first?” Shouta asked, watching as your eyes darted around, looking at all the options on the shelves before looking at him, and taking a moment to make your choice. “We can go to the guards first. I like pushing the cart.” You spoke as you kept one hand on the cart, pushing it back and forth a little in a stimming motion.
“Okay, just follow me. Once we tell the guards about that lady, I’ll help you check out, then I believe you deserve a treat for doing so well with this whole situation, and we can either ask if they have more of the almond milk in the back, or we can come back another day. It’s up to you, Y/n.” Shouta told you as he walked on your right side, keeping his arm around your waist as he guided you through the store to where the security guards were. “Hello, Officer, I’d like to report an entitled customer for hogging a large amount of almond milk and being an overall nuisance to my partner and I.” He spoke to the officer. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, sir. Here, fill this out while we assist you and your partner.” The guard said, giving Shouta a clipboard before he guided you to a nearby empty picnic table that was outside the deli area where you could watch the workers make food through a window while he filled out the form and kept you engaged by asking you what you wanted to get for a treat. He would glance up from time to time, watching you stare intently at the workers inside, making some soft serve sundaes in a cup, either with strawberries or with chocolate syrup. He noticed how you were counting the amount of each flavor that was made on your hands. He smiled and finished the form, telling you to stay seated while he turned the form into the complaints department. When he returned, you looked back at him as he sat next to you, putting his arm around your shoulders, pulling you close to him as you watched someone assemble pizzas.
“The workers made 18 strawberry sundaes and 15 chocolate ones while I was sitting here.” You told him, and he smiled, kissing your head just behind where your headphones were to help drown out the noise of the store. “I’ll get you a treat. Do you want strawberry or chocolate?” He asked as he looked you in the eyes.
“Chocolate, please.” You asked, and he got up, letting you cling to him, holding onto two of the handles on his vest, one on his right side, and another on his back as he guided you through the crowd to stand in line. You were still fixated on the workers doing their job, bringing up the orders to the counter, and calling out orders when they were ready. Shouta guided you to the counter when it was your turn to order.
“Do you want to tell the nice person what you’d like, or should I tell them?” Shouta asked, rubbing your back as he did so. You fidgeted with your hands and looked the worker in the eyes before speaking. “I’d like a chocolate sundae, please.” You asked, and Shouta smiled, praising you and rubbing your back, paying the worker for both your sundaes before he guided you off to the side where you could watch the workers make food for the different orders. Shouta let you hold the receipt, which had the number of your order on it, so you could watch and listen for your order to come to the counter when it was ready. When the worker placed both your sundaes on the counter, a chocolate one for you and a strawberry one for Shouta, you about burst forward to retrieve the treat, but Shouta had to hold you back until the worker called the number out. You darted forward and thanked the person before taking the two cups of soft serve and handing the strawberry one to Shouta, immediately stirring the chocolate sauce into your ice cream as the two of you walked to the exit with your cart of food. You felt Shouta use his capture weapon to wrap around your waist and tether you to him so he wouldn’t lose you in the crowd as the two of you headed to the exit.
“You did so good, Y/n. I’ll get you home to put the food away, and I’ll see if the corner store has a carton or two that can hold you over until they have some more in stock.” Shouta spoke as you were happily taking bites of your ice cream and walking out to the car. You put your ice cream in the front seat before helping load the car by handing Shouta items in the cart as he loaded up the trunk. Once the car was full, the two of you got in the car and went home. The End.
Naga! Hizashi Yamada x Reader
“Hizashi! I think my headphones finally kicked the bucket!” You called from the bedroom of your shared apartment. A few moments later, his head peeked in and he walked over to you to help you asses what was wrong with your headphones. “What’s wrong with them?” He asked as he took your headphones from you so he could assess them. He popped the earmuffs out and looked at the technology on the over-the-ear parts. “The battery isn’t lasting as long as it should anymore. They barely last a full shift at the station anymore, and I have to charge them on our lunch break.” You told him.
“This isn’t good. They should be lasting longer. Like upwards of 36 hours, right? How long have you had these headphones, anyway? You were using them when we first met.” Hizashi spoke as he set the headphones down on the table and looked at you.
“I don’t know. I’m still gonna call the store where I got them from and see if I can get them exchanged or refurbished.” You spoke as you pulled your phone out to call the store where you purchased the headphones to see what they could do to help with the battery not lasting as it once did.
Hizashi listened to your call and helped you troubleshoot with the person on the line, as he knew you didn’t like phone calls. After the call had ended, Hizashi set your phone down and put his hand on your back in a comforting way. “Looks like we just go into the return section and tell them what’s going on. They will refund us and put the money on a card as store credit, and we can use that money to buy you a new pair of headphones, okay?” Hizashi told you, rubbing your back and coiling the tip of his tail around your ankle, slowly sliding it up your calf to give you a soothing compression feeling.
“You did so well with the phone call. We will go get the headphones tomorrow, okay?” He spoke as he coiled around you, using his tail as a compression weight to help you relax from being distressed at the loss of your headphones you had for the past six years. ~~~
A couple of days later, Hizashi guided you through the store, and the bright lights and overlapping chatter of the store were overwhelming to you. Hizashi walked with you to the returns counter with a hand on your back, helping you talk to the person who came up to help you. “How can I help you today?” The person asked as they looked up from their computer.
“We called in a few days ago about Y/n’s headphones. She was saying that the battery in the headphones wasn’t lasting the full twenty-four to thirty-six hours that they normally would, and only lasting maybe twelve hours.” Hizashi spoke, reading into your anxiety about giving up the headphones that you had sentimental value i, as you had taken the headphones with you everywhere for the past six years. The employee helping the two of you was kind and patient with you, helping you every step of the way through the refund and transfer of the headphones.
You took your old headphones off, giving them to another employee who was examining them. They even let you keep the new earmuffs that Hizashi recently purchased for you, since the old pair had deteriorated enough that the audio quality wasn’t the best, and outside noises would leak in more often. You were fixated on small items in the refund area, like a calendar that had been decorated in brightly colored dry erase markers and noted the different days marked with events like the employee’s birthdays and different holidays happening that month. There were also small items decorating the register, like a small, All Might-themed duck, and an All Might-themed stress ball next to a pen holder with a similar theme. You did your best to make eye contact with Hizashi as he finished the transaction and accepted the store card that had the money on it.
He rubbed your back as he chatted with the clerk a bit more before the two of you thanked her and left the returns area. You made a beeline for the technology department, where you knew the headphone claim cards were, stopping for a moment to pick out which claim card you wanted before Hizashi reminded you to look at the price before looking at the other options to see if you wanted another style or brand. You insisted on similar headphones to your old ones by the same brand, picked up the cardboard claim card that you wanted, and walked with Hizashi to the register. Hizashi held you from behind and whispered positive affirmations into your ear about how well you were doing with the whole interaction. You were staring at the large posters displaying the food in the deli section of the store, deciding on what you wanted for lunch since you were getting hungry.
“Deciding what you want, princess?” He asked, noticing your gaze on the food adverts. You nodded and looked up at him. “Want the chicken bake, please.” You spoke, and Hizashi kissed your head, walking with you as your turn came up to purchase the headphones, keeping his arms around your waist to keep you grounded as he could tell that the beeping of the registers was beginning to stress you out. He tightened his grip slightly around your waist as a subtle compression hug to keep you grounded. He talked to you about the things going on in front of you as you were still choosing what you wanted to drink from the deli. “We’re up next, darling.” He spoke as he guided you to his left side, anchoring on the handle attached to his support vest that he wore under his letterman jacket to walk you through the line and help you through the purchase. He kept his hand on your back as you handed the claim card to the cashier and watched as he called over a supervisor to run into the back where they kept the headphones as Hizashi helped you with the purchase.
“Do you wanna insert the card or should I?” Hizashi asked when he turned to you and held the card out for you to take. You took the card and proceeded to pay for the headphones with the store card first before reaching for your card to pay for the leftover amount when Hizashi handed you his. “On me, baby. You deserve it.” He spoke. You took his card and inserted it, letting him type in the PIN. You watched as the manager came back with the new headphones in the box, which you happily took and thanked them for the headphones. Hizashi guided you to the deli area and sat you down, telling you to wait there while he went to get the receipt checked and get the food that you wanted for lunch. You waited for him to return with the receipt before you broke into the box.
Waiting for Hizashi to return was almost like torture. You were aware of everything: the beeping of the line of registers, the rustling of paper and plastic bags, and the pressure of the overlapping chatter of the customers in the store. You craved the noise-cancelling feature of your old headphones but you remembered the tactic you used when noises got to be too much for you in public; pushing the tragus of your outer ear over your ear canal which helped drown out some of the noises, shutting your eyes too to lessen as much stimuli as possible to give you some temporary relief while you waited for Hizashi to return. You felt someone tap you on the shoulder, and you heard a muffled voice asking if you were okay. You opened one eye to see a person looking at you with concern on their face.
“Are you okay?” They asked. You forced a pleasant smile and reassured them that you were okay, just like you and Hizashi had practiced in case a stranger came up and began to over-push your boundaries. “Are you sure? You looked distressed. Can I help you in any way?” The stranger pushed, making you uncomfortable. You began panicking and began to search the crowd of people for Hizashi’s bright yellow hair peeking over the sea of people which began to make you feel claustrophobic. You spotted him walking back to the deli area, stuck in the sea of people heading to the exit. You wanted help as this person was persistent and trying to reach out and comfort you but you kept pulling away, making sure to grab the headphones with you and walking over to Hizashi for comfort and ask him to help you with this bothersome person since you no longer had spoons to deal with anyone else today.
You reach him and immediately grab for the woven handles attached to the sides of his vest, well hidden under the black letterman jacket with neon cyan, yellow, and magenta details that promoted his Friday night radio show. You rested your head on his chest, and he wrapped his arms around you, rubbing your back soothingly and looking around to see what was giving you such distress before his eyes landed on the bothersome person. He shifted his arms around you in a protective manner as the person approached.
“She’s fine. I’m her husband, and I got her now. Thank you for trying to help.” Hizashi spoke in a firm, dismissive tone, showing his support unit vest a little to the person. The person looked surprised, and they left immediately, realizing their mistake. You were happy to see the person walking away. Once the person was out of sight, Hizashi guided you over to another table and looked down at you, trying to get you to look at him. “You okay, sweetheart? You looked a bit drained. Let’s get the headphones set up and on your head before we go shopping, okay? IIt'sjust a few things on the list that we need at home.” Hizashi spoke, showing you the list, scrawled out on a piece of paper that you glanced over before working on finishing the setup of your headphones, syncing them with your phone, and finally placing them on your head, feeling relief when the noise-cancelling took effect.
You rested your head on Hizashi’s shoulder for a moment, taking deep breaths as you felt peace. No more beeping or overlapping chatter of the store. Hizashi rubbed your back and rocked you slightly as you recharged with the headphones for a few minutes until you were ready to go grocery shopping with him. You stuck by him, keeping one hand on the cart or one of the handles of his support vest as the two of you gathered the items on the list. When the two of you arrived at the register again, Hizashi handed you some money from his wallet.
“I’d like the chicken bake with the mocha freeze. You can get yourself whatever you want to eat and something to drink, too, okay, princess? We’re both tired and hungry. I know you just wanna get home and be compressed, right?” Hizashi said as you took the money from him. Your eyes lit up at the idea of his tail being used as a weighted compression blanket when the two of you got home and put the groceries away. You darted off to get the food and wait for him to get through the checkout and meet you back by the deli area. You walked over with two chicken bakes and two mocha freezes in your hand, along with the change. You handed him the change first before setting the food and drinks into the cart and helping him push the cart out of the store. You held onto one of the reinforced handles up on the middle of his vest and followed him out to where he had parked the car.
“You did amazing in there, Y/n. You did such a good job with the refund. I’m proud of you.” He reassured you while he searched the sea of different cars in the parking lot for his blue sports car with white racing stripes down the middle of the car. You spotted the car before he did, and you tugged him in the direction of the car. “You have sharp eyesight, baby girl. You wanna help me load up the car or just wait in the passenger seat?” Hizashi asked as he pushed the cart to the trunk of his vehicle. “I can help a little.” You told him as he unlocked his car and opened the trunk. He lifted the heavier items into the trunk, letting you hand him the lighter items until there were only one or two items left in the cart.
“Okay, sweetie, take our drinks and food into the front of the ca,r and I’ll be there in a moment so we can eat together,” Hizashi spoke, placing the last couple of items into the trunk of his car, shutting the trunk, and pushing the cart to the nearest cart return after you had grabbed the chicken bakes and drinks, and sat in the passenger seat in the car. You sipped on your coffee while you waited for Hizashi to return, watching in the rear-view mirror as he walked back to the car and sat in the driver’s seat. The two of you ate in silence before Hizashi started the car up and drove home. Once the two of you were home, you helped carry food into the house, and while Hizashi went to take his vest off, you sat down and sorted the food into different bags that would go to either the pantry in the kitchen, the fridge, or the backup storage in the laundry room. Hizashi came down in one of his peachy colored shirts that also promoted his radio station and a black sarong with lighter grey palm leaves along the hem. His legs were now fused in the long, black naga tail with a bright yellow heartbeat pattern on the wall of his tail that you’d trace gently. He knew that you loved being compressed with his coils, and knew that you’d need a weighted compression session after putting the food away. He paused in the doorway when he saw you on the floor sorting canned food into a bag.
“Which bag goes where, sweetheart?” He asked, knowing you’ve done this before with previous shopping trips. “This bag has the fridge and freezer food, this one has the kitchen pantry, and this one has the backup pantry food.” You told him, pointing to each of the bags. He picked up the backup pantry bag and hefted it over his shoulder. “I’ll put this one away while you work on the kitchen pantry. Then we can do the fridge and freeze together, okay?” He said, and you agreed to that plan, anticipating being coiled up and sandwiched between his chest and his tail later. You dragged the bag of food for the kitchen pantry over to where the pantry was and opened the door, beginning to put the food away in their neat rows, rotating the old cans to the front while putting the new ones in the back. You were putting the last box of mac and cheese away when you felt Hizashi’s strong arms wrap around your waist, and he placed his chin on your shoulder.
“Need help? You’re stretching a bit far there, and I don’t want you to get hurt, Y/n.” He spoke, noticing how you were up on your tiptoes trying to get to the shelf where the mac and cheese belonged. You were just out of reach to get to the shelf where your safe food belonged, so you handed the boxes to Hizashi, and he placed them on the top shelf. “No fair that you’re so tall that you can reach.” You spoke with a pout.
“I know, sweetheart. It just gives me more opportunities to help you out like that.” He spoke, slithering over to you and pulling you close. “How about compression time now?” He suggested. Your head snapped up at the idea of compression time, and you nodded your head enthusiastically, which made Hizashi chuckle. You led him to the couch where the two of you would cuddle often.
“How do you want me this time?” He asked. You had him lie down on the couch on his back so you could lie on his chest after he had coiled around you. He started by anchoring the tip of his tail around your leg and moved his way around you until you were completely wrapped up in his tail, as he laid on the couch, pulling you on top of him. You let out a groan of relief as you felt the weight of his tail sink in on your back as it tightened slightly until you told him to stop, so he didn’t hurt you. He wrapped his arms around you in a comforting squeeze to help you relax and regain spoons to finish some smaller tasks in the day. You eventually fell asleep in his arms, and he loosened his squeezing hug on you a little before letting himself sleep too. The end.
Naga! Oboro Shirakumo x Reader
Feeling your heart race a little as your doctor put out an order for you to get some blood drawn for tests, as you left the office, tethered to your support hybrid boyfriend, Oboro Shirakumo, who had noticed your stress and pulled you off to the side once the two of you were outside. You noticed the fresh air slightly scented with flowers and the warmth of the sun sinking through your clothes, giving you a freeing feeling from the sanitary antiseptic smell of the doctor’s office. You heard birds chirping from behind you as Oboro was trying to get you to look at him. “Hey, Y/n. Look at me, sweetheart. I know you don’t like getting your blood drawn, but it’s just a little prick and it will be over before you know it.” Oboro told you as you worked to get your eyes to lock with his sky-blue ones. “There you are, princess.” He spoke as he gazed back into your eyes.
“How about this: I’ll get you your favorite ice cream after the blood draw. I know you’ve been talking about the chocolate and vanilla swirl for a while now.” He spoke with a slight smirk teasing the corner of his mouth. “You’re mean, Oboro. Bribing me with my favorite ice cream is cruel.” You told him, crossing your arms over your chest. He let out a chuckle and nuzzled your cheek. “It's effective, though, baby. C’mon. Let's go get your blood drawn.” He whispered into your ear, then pulled away and led you by the hand as he slithered down the winding wheelchair ramp. You groaned and followed him, keeping an eye on his pale blue tail as he slithered across the campus, following a map on his phone to where the blood draw office was, linking your arm with his so he didn’t lose you or leave you behind. You protested the whole way there, but he kept you moving by keeping his arm wrapped around you and reminding you of the ice cream, adding cuddles when you got back to your apartment, and even watching your favorite show to sweeten the deal.
Once in the waiting area to the blood draw clinic, Oboro stood behind you, his arms around your waist, and the tip of his tail was wrapped around your ankle to keep you calm and grounded. “I can tell you’re getting anxious, darling. Relax and focus on the idea of ice cream afterwards.” He whispered into your ear. “Mama, look! That guy is a snake and his tail is blue!” The two of you heard a little kid call out who was in the clinic with their mom, probably there for the same reason. You looked over to see the kid bouncing up and down with excitement as he stared at Oboro’s tail. You looked back at Oboro, who wanted to interact with the kid but was stuck helping you through the check-in to get your blood drawn.
You felt his conflict as he wanted to go play with the kid, letting them explore their interest in snakes. But he couldn’t since he was working with you and his main concern was to help keep you calm through the blood draw. “I know you’d want to go play with the kid, but you’re working right now, Oboro.” You told him as the two of you inched forward to the sign-in desk. Oboro nodded and placed his chin on your head while the person standing in front of you was checked in for their appointment. Oboro wrapped his arms around your waist and helped you up to the check-in counter, where the kind lady behind the computer greeted you with a smile.
“Hello there, what’s your name, and what brings you in today? She asked. You told her your name and that you were there to get some blood drawn for your doctor. You also informed them of your fear of needles and that the man with you was your service hybrid companion, Oboro Shirakumo, and that he would be accompanying you to the blood draw. Oboro grinned and showed the nurse his vest with the logo for the Service Hybrid Association embroidered on the back. The nurse smiled sweetly and made a note of this on your chart and told the two of you that you could take a seat and wait until your name was called. Oboro held you by your waist and guided you to two chairs near the small TV showing a program from the local food channel. Oboro helped you sit in one of the chairs as you fixated on the cooking show. Oboro sat in the seat to your right and put one arm around your shoulder and rested his head against yours, watching the show with you. He wrapped the end of his tail around your ankle when he noticed that you were bouncing your leg: the first sign of your anxiety and your thoughts wandering. Oboro pulled you close and kissed your head, whispering into your ear even though you were staring off at a fixated point: another sign of your anxiety was dissociation, and he squeezed your shoulder to get your attention. You looked at him and he smiled.
“There you are. You seemed to zone out there. Here, focus on this.” Oboro spoke, picking up a length of his tail, and placed it on your lap, the weight distracting yo u and the texture of his tail a calming sensation to your fingers. You ran your hands back and forth on his tail, knowing it was a section that wasn’t as sensitive. Oboro looked up at the TV to watch the show as you played with the scales on his tail. His head turned when the door opened, watching a nurse come out and call your name. Your head whipped around when you heard your name called, and you bent down to grab your purse as Oboro pulled his tail off your lap, waiting for you to follow him back to where the nurse was waiting with a clipboard in hand. The Nurse took one look at Oboro and raised an eyebrow as they flipped through the papers on the clipboard, seeing the section on the sheet where the Service Hybrid Assisting box was checked. You gripped one of the handles on Oboro’s vest, knowing this person would make a fuss as some people did, saying how Nagas weren’t real Service animals and that Service animals were either dog hybrids or cat hybrids. The nurse did notice Oboro’s vest with the official Service Hybrid Association logo stitched on the front and the back.
“Who is this with you, Miss Y/n?” The nurse asked in a calm, congenial tone. You gulped, and Oboro wrapped his arm around you, pulling you close in a protective manner. “This is my service partner, Oboro. He’s a Naga. His job is to help me stay calm in stressful situations. Getting my blood drawn is stressful for me, so he came along to help me stay distracted from the procedure by usually putting his tail on my lap or wrapping the end around my lower leg.” You explained. The nurse looked surprised and led the two of you through the door and to a room where you’d get your blood drawn.
You sat down on the chair, holding Oboro’s hand with the opposite arm that the phlebotomists would be drawing from, getting strapped in, and rolling your sleeve up so the other nurses could tie a rubber band around your bicep to get your veins to show. You held Oboro’s hand with your free hand and watched as he slid his tail over your legs, letting the coils grip on your legs as the phlebotomist and their assistant watched in amazement, asking you about what it was like living with a Naga and quizzing you on your knowledge of snakes. As you were talking with the nurses, you felt more of Oboro’s tail climb up your legs, weighing you down so you couldn’t try to run from the procedure, you narrowed your eyes at him as you knew what he was doing, making him chuckle as he stuck close to your right side.
“You know the weighted feeling helps you stay calm in situations like this,” Oboro said as he pressed his forehead to yours. “Yes, I know it does. I still don’t like that you did this, but it’s necessary so I don’t have a panic attack with the needle.” You spoke, glancing over at the assistant who was pulling the capped needle and appropriate vial out of a drawer. You tilted your head to the different cap colors of the vials that stood up in the tray that were yet to be filled, and asked the nurses what the different cap colors meant. They told you that each cap color corresponded to a specific additive or anticoagulant that was present in the tube, helping preserve the integrity of the sample and prevent the blood from clotting and becoming unusable. You gripped Oboro’s hand as the assistant handed the capped needle to the phlebotomist, who took the cap off and prepped three vials to fill with your blood. “Eyes on me, Y/n.Don’t think about what’s going on. Just focus on me and think about the ice cream we’re going to get later.” Oboro spoke, rubbing his thumb over the back of your hand. You turned to look in his bright blue eyes, gripping Oboro’s hand tighter when you felt the sting of the alcohol swab before the prick of the needle and inhaling sharply as you felt the needle under your skin and the flow of blood going into the needle.
“That’s it. Just breathe and keep looking at me, sweetheart.” Oboro spoke, using his other hand to cup your face so you’d still look at him and not at the needle sticking out of your arm. You locked eyes with him, and he guided you through some breathing exercises. Before you knew it, the blood was drawn, and the needle was out of your arm. The nurse put a cotton swab on the area where they had poked you and offered a band-aid you which you accepted.
“It’s all over, Y/n. You did great. Let’s get out of here and get that ice cream like I promised, okay?” Oboro spoke, pulling his tail off your legs so you could get up, turning to the nurses, and thanking them before he led you out of the office. Once outside, he stretched as the skies were clear and the sun was shining. “The sun feels good, huh?” He asked as he followed you out to your car. He climbed into the passenger seat of your car. Once both of you were buckled, you began driving down to the closest ice cream store to get your treat for staying calm through the blood draw. You parked in front of the store and got out, with Oboro waiting for you. He linked his arm with yours, walking with you, and opened the door for you before going inside and looking at the menu.
Oboro stood behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist as you looked at the menu.
“You want the chocolate and vanilla swirl, right?” Oboro asked as he looked at you while looking at your options. “Yes, please. What are you going to get?” You asked, looking up at your partner. “I was thinking the cotton candy with mixed berries. It sounds good.” He spoke, holding your hand as the two of you walked up to the counter.
“What size do you want?” He asked as he pulled out his wallet. “Medium is okay.” You told him, and he knew better, getting you the large so you could have some now and more later when he knew you’d be craving some later. “Cone or cup? Or that special cup with the cone in it? And do you want plain or the chocolate-dipped one?” Oboro asked as he pointed to the options in the display case.
“The chocolate-dipped one with the crushed almonds on the rim, please.” You requested. When your turn came up to order, you walked up to the counter and told the food worker what you wanted, and listened to Oboro order after you. You fumbled for some cash to pay for your ice cream, but Oboro stopped you. “Nuh uh. Put your money away. This is on me, Princess.” He spoke, and you put your money away, watching Oboro pay for the treat, and watching the workers as they began to make your orders. Once the two of you received your ice cream, you went outside, ate the ice cream together on one of the tables, watching the sunset. “You did so well in the doctor’s office, Y/n. What do you want to do when we get home?” He asked as he licked a drip of his ice cream that was running down the cone.
“I want to change my clothes and hide in your coils. Maybe some slight weighted blanket with your tail.” You spoke as you ate your ice cream, breaking off bits of your waffle cone and dipping the pieces in your ice cream. “That sounds like a wonderful plan. Do you want quiet when we get home or some kind of background noise?” He asked as he took another bite of his ice cream. “Quiet to begin with… then I want to pick a show and put it on later when we make dinner.” You spoke, savoring the chocolate of your ice cream.
“Understood. What were you thinking of eating for dinner tonight?” Oboro asked as he watched you enjoy your ice cream. “How about something simple like fried rice and chicken karaage?” He asked as he finished up his ice cream, waiting for your response. “That sounds perfect. I’m guessing we’re going to pick it up on the way home?” You asked as you finished your ice cream. Oboro took your garbage, placed it in the can nearby, and went back to where you were sitting. He helped you to your feet before walking with you to your car, letting you drive to a nearby takeout place to get dinner and go home. You stayed in the car while Oboro went into the restaurant, coming out a few minutes later with a plastic bag that held what looked to be two takeout containers and a third takeout container, which you raised your eyebrow to as he approached the car and entered the passenger side of the car, placing the food in his lap as he sat down and looked to you. “What’s all this food?” You asked.
“Well, the food in the bag is our fried rice and chicken karaage, and this is some gyoza and egg rolls with some sweet chili dipping sauce. I know you like them when you’re tired. They’re one of your safe foods, right?” Oboro asked as he looked at you to confirm his speculation. “Yes, gyoza and egg rolls are one of my safe foods. They’re a comfort food too.” You reassured him and he smiled, putting the extra take-out container in the bag as he held it on his lap. You drove home, getting inside your house with Oboro behind you. You beelined for the bedroom so you could get out of your uncomfortable clothing as he portioned out the food. You pulled on a pair of his sweatpants that he rarely wore and one of his shirts that was super baggy on you, but it was comfy. You heard Oboro come into the room, working at the various snaps and buckles of his service vest, pulling it over his head and hanging it on its rack. He had a blue shirt on under his vest that was wrinkled and compressed against his body.
He pulled one of the various scarves he owned, tying it around his waist before he pulled a clean shirt out of his basket and over his head. It looked like one of his softer, long-sleeve shirts that you liked cuddling up against. He turned back to you, slithered over to where you were standing, kissed your cheek, and walked with you out to the kitchen. Oboro let you pick which takeout container you wanted since they were both the same. He took the one you didn’t pick and guided you to the living room, setting the food on the coffee table and curling up on the floor. Once he was settled, he invited you to sit in the middle of his coils with your food. “You want a show on now or not yet?” He asked. “Show is okay.” You spoke, getting yourself settled by leaning against his tail and beginning to eat. Oboro turned the TV on and wrapped the end of his tail around your leg as he ate with you. The end.

Can you do Oboro confessing to his classmate reader
Hi! Thank you so much for the request, especially since this was the first Shirakumo request I've gotten! (´∇`)
I have a couple others I intend to finish as well, I just got extremely busy due to the graduation time of year ꜀(^. .^꜀ )꜆੭
That being said, I hope you like it! Thank you again for the request! ♡
When The Clouds Part
➤ Welcome - Introduction and Request Rules (Requests are open + Some info about me)
▶ Characters: Shirakumo x F! Reader
▶ Genre: Fluff, little bit of comfort
▶ Summary: The ask sums it up, but overall Shirakumo gets a little help deciphering his feelings towards you from his friends and plans on how he'll tell you how he truly feels
▶ Word Count: 7640
▶ Warnings: None :-)
"Faster! I know you aren't getting distracted Shirakumo!"
Your class instructor hollered at your friend, as a small group of students in training darted across the obstacle course made for them. You were in the opposite group, waiting for your turn to run.
You studied your classmates timing and reactions, ready to use it for your own turn. Alongside that, you felt a shudder of fear run through your back as your instructor yelled at another student for tripping up.
The whistle rang, alerting group one to pause where they were for the teachers to score how far they got. You glanced at the group, seeing your first friend - Hizashi - near the end. It made sense, you never really saw him as the athletic one. Shirakumo surprisingly didn't get as far as you expected, and your teacher must've thought the same way as he berated him whenever he made his way back to the bleachers.
"Something going on inside that head of yours?" A swift smack to the back of Shirakumo's head had him wincing as he smiled sheepishly. "Because it's clearly not about the training today."
As you made your way to the entrance of the course, you prepared yourself to do the best you could. At least you weren't alone anyways, as Shota stood next to you - also not being the most athletic. So at least you knew you'd have a bit of a better chance than him.
As the whistle blew, you immediately darted across the course as fast as your legs could take you. Your focus was entirely on what was ahead of you, and you combined your classmates' failures in order to learn to avoid what they hadn't.
The first group sat exhausted on the bleachers, the hot sun beating down upon them.
"Man, this really is starting to feel like middle school gym class again, am I right?" Hizashi whined, his arms resting on the bleachers as he awkwardly leaned his head back towards the ones behind him.
With no response from Shirakumo, he turned his head back upright to look at him properly. "Oboro?"
A pout formed in his face as he noticed his friend staring intently at the second group moving through, nearly about to jump out of his seat like one would be when watching a sports match.
"Look, look! She got through the spirals! That caught so many people up!" Shirakumo exclaimed excitedly, not even tossing his friend a glance.
"Ugh, c'mon man." Hizashi only leaned his head backwards again as he rested, too exhausted to complain. He knew exactly who he was talking about, as you were the only person he seemed to pay attention to lately.
Jumping from his seat, Shirakumo began getting excited again. "She just passed Nanitchi, that's insane! He was the top runner at the beginning of the year!" He turned to Yamada, who was lazing about. "Did'ya see? "
"Uh huh."
Not noticing his friend's lackluster attitude, Shirakumo was already turned back to watching you before Hizashi fully could answer.
Curious, Hizashi opened an eye to glance at the group moving through. He saw you, blazing though the course as fast as a person like you could. You were good, but after hearing the way Shirakumo was describing you he thought you'd be further ahead. Alongside that, he noticed his poor friend Shota barely managing to get through the rope climb, one of the last few stragglers just as he was.
"Ahh, Shota..." Hizashi quietly mumbled to himself, holding pity for his friend.
To the side, they both jumped a bit as their teacher hollered once more as he had been doing this entire time.
"Oi! [Name]! I told you to pace yourself, now you're slowing down! I don't want to see that again! "
With his eyes still on you, Shirakumo tried to contain himself. "I saw her doing perfectly fine! Don't you think so too Hizashi?" He turned to his friend once more, but Yamada didn't care at this point. "He's being too harsh."
A disgusted grimace formed on Hizashi's face as he looked at the lovesick pout on his face.
-
"I think I'm going to throw up. "
Hizashi empathetically patted his worn out friend's back as they made their way to the locker rooms to freshen up before the end of the school day.
"You pushed yourself too hard, man. "
Shirakumo raised a thumbs up at his friend with a wide smile on his face, "You did a great job Shouta! I'm proud!"
Hizashi scoffed as he held open the door for the two boys, his hand in his pocket. "You didn't even look at him, what're you saying? "
"Yes I did, I watched everyone" Shirakumo rebutted back, a coy smile on his face.
"No you did not"
At that point the locker room had gotten too noisy being filled with all the boys in class, ceasing the twos' conversation. Once they left the room, Shouta was feeling a little better, but still very sore.
"I hated those wall climbs, they stunk." Hands in pockets, Hizashi was back to complaining as they made their way through the hallways to grab their items before leaving.
"I think they were a little fun to climb if you ask me." Shirakumo offered, strolling with his hands behind his head as they entered the classroom.
"Oh, are you talking about the rope climb?"
Immediately, Shirakumo's eyes were on you as he heard your voice, and his smile only grew wider.
"Oh I was talking about the wall climbs, did you like the rope climbs though?" He asked eagerly, not wanting to miss a single opinion of yours.
"I didn't like either-" Shota's whine was cut off as you chuckled.
"I mean, they weren't that bad, but I wasn't really a fan of either," bringing your hands up in front of you, the trio noticed they were covered in bandages. "Sensei was right, I shouldn't have gone so fast, otherwise I wouldn't have torn up my hands." You bashfully smiled, embarrassed at how you thought you knew how to get through the whole thing, without predicting making a mistake of your own.
"Ah, that looks like it hurts," grabbing your hand, Shirakumo held it carefully as he inspected it, his eyebrows furrowing, "Y'know, if you need climbing powder to put on your hands, I could always give you some!"
It was touching, but the subtle action of him barely holding your hand had your face warming more than you'd have liked it too.
He chuckled while the other two looked at each other knowingly, "Don't want you hurting your hands regularly now, you're going to need those!"
You laughed along with him, always enjoying the way he joked around with you. You looked up as soon as your laughter slowed and saw the time, realizing you had to leave.
You gently pulled your hand out of Shirakumo's grip as you went to get your bag, looking over at him and the others, "Well, it was nice seeing you for a bit before we leave, hopefully it'll be a little easier tomorrow, yeah?"
He hummed in agreement as he waved to you as out of the classroom, "Have a good one! And take care of those hands!"
As the classroom emptied, the trio grabbed their bags from the pile they threw them in together, untangling the straps from the others.
"I really don't feel like walking home today" Shouta sighed, his limbs aching as he hauled his bag onto his shoulder.
"Eh, it shouldn't be so bad tomorrow since we did this today - unless Sensei just wants to be a jerk for some reason."
Shirakumo chuckled, adjusting the strap on his bag, "What? You mean you don't want more obstacle courses-"
His joke was cut off as he gasped and immediately darted to your seat. "Oh great, he's lost it," Hizashi mumbled just loud enough for Shota to hear.
"She left behind her notebook! She's going to need this tonight to study!" Holding up the sticker-covered book for the other two to see, he quickly made his way through the maze of desks, "I'm going to try to get this to her! You guys can go on without me! "
His voice faded as he sprinted throughout the hallway, Hizashi sighing.
"You left me to deal with his pinning all by myself, y'know", he grumbled towards his dark-haired friend. Shota only shrugged.
-
Shirakumo sprinted as fast as he could down the hallways, leaping down the stairs in groups of steps and threatening to fall down as he hurried. Once he made his way to the main lobby he tried rushing through the doors, causing them to bleep until he backed up. He tore through his bag before finding his school ID and scanned it on the machine hooked to the wall, finally being allowed through.
Looking around the campus, he didn't see you anywhere. He promptly made his way to the bike rack and unlocked his bike, hastily hopping on (hoping he wouldn't fall over) before darting off in the direction of your house. He didn't know exactly where it was, but judging based on the few times he walked home with you, he at least knew the area.
As he peddled through the street, he shouted a hurried apology at the car he darted in front of, before deciding to take a detour through the park. Sometimes you walked through it anyway, and if you weren't then at least he had a better chance of finding you faster.
His bag jumped as his bike shook since he was riding on a bumpy surface. The dirt made it a little more difficult to ride through, but he wouldn't complain if it meant he got to see you.
Taking short looks around the park, he almost suspected you weren't there until he looked up and saw you in the distance, still making your way home.
As he made his way to you he excitedly shouted your name despite the distance meeting you from hearing him. He was suddenly caught off guard as his bike began getting more difficult to steer, the dirt changing to a softer soil. It was only made more difficult as you stood at the bottom of a small dip in the park where the ground got lower.
Panic flared his chest for a second as he tried to unsuccessfully break, and his heart nearly burst through it when he saw his bike was heading straight for you. Gripping the handlebars, he held on tight as he attempted to steer it any other way, the bike failing to follow along.
He did the only thing he could think of in the moment and shouted your name as loud as he could. You recognized his voice behind you and smiled as you turned around, eyes immediately growing wide as you saw his bike hurling towards you.
"[NAME]! RUN!"
You awkwardly jumped backwards and watched as his bike toppled over, causing him to slide on the ground until he was right in front of you.
Looking up at you from the ground, he stilled as he tried to play it off.
"Hey."
You looked down at him and there was a beat of silence between the both of you. Watching a smile slowly form across your face, he began to smile wider himself until you broke out in laughter, which he joined in alongside you.
"Are you okay?" You asked him as you still chuckled, reaching an arm down which he grabbed hold of.
"I'm fine, I'm fine, thanks for asking!" Chuckling with you, he awkwardly tried to wipe the dirt from his uniform - knowing his mom would have a fit if she saw how dirty it was.
Grinning at him, you reached a hand up and swiped your hand through his puffy blue hair to get some pieces of dirt out of it, and at that moment Shirakumo's mind shut down. You were so close, and the sun was setting at a point that painted a beautiful golden glow across you, and the trees were blowing their leaves gracefully across the park, and-
He knew it would be the perfect moment to confess. It was as if fate itself set up everything together for him to. He'd have to give his thanks later at a local temple or something.
Looking towards you, he suddenly felt frozen stiff. His heart skipped a beat and he felt his hands get uncomfortably moist. The once outgoing and boisterous Shirakumo, was now afraid to actually say what was on his mind for once.
All throughout his life, he never struggled with such a thing. He always danced in public whenever he heard a nice song, laughed out loud with his friends (despite Shouta begging him to be quiet), openly talked to every new face he met as if he were friends with them since childhood. No, it was never a struggle.
So to suddenly feel this new emotion... One of worry, one of love, a horribly sweet mixture of heartache... He'd have to apologize to Shouta, now understanding his perspective when it came to shyness.
"Shirakumo?" Your hand caught his attention, waving towards his face. Quickly he scrambled back and looked towards his fallen bike where his bag sat. He nervously rubbed the back up his head as he pulled it up from its position on the ground, "Sorry! Zoning out y'know... Hitting your head will do that!" he apologized, letting out a shaky laugh before quickly pulling out your notebook from the bag.
You smiled back, albeit a bit worriedly, "Oh, of course! Though, if you need an ice pack or something you're more than welcome at my house."
He couldn't help but mentally slap himself. Why would he say that?! Now you were worried, and that was the last thing he wanted to make you feel.
"O-oh, don't sweat it, I'll be fine!" The sun was going down, and the wind was slowing. You were also a little further away, remembering your trip home. He needed to do something. To choose something.
Swallowing, he gripped your notebook with a tighter grip as he held it behind his back. Speaking suddenly evaded him as he looked at you, silent confessions falling from his mind and hurling towards you with no impact.
"Well... It was nice seeing you! I hope you get home safe!" You smiled as you began to turn to finish your path home. Quickly, he called out to you.
"Wait! Um..."
Seeing your full attention on him once again made him feel like the world's biggest lovesick idiot. You only looked at him with wide, expecting eyes as he stood there silently.
Gasping in a short intake of breath, he began to tremble as he rethought about what it was he wanted to say to you exactly. He always thought of this moment, in fact he imagined it after every time he saw you. But you were here, really real and not how you were in his imagination. Real life was always so much more daunting than one's imagination.
"S-so... I have something to tell you..." Gulping, he wanted so badly to spill the contents right from his overflowing heart. He wanted to tell you every single thing he loved about you, he so badly wanted to inform you of everything he wanted to do with you, from going to the beach to inviting you to the roof with him and his friends during lunch, to having you ride with him on his clouds... There was so much, so much-
"I lo-" Whipping out your notebook and bringing it in front of him as he bowed with his hands holding it out towards you, he changed his mind last second. "You left your notebook! So I brought it back for you!"
Pushing a stand of your hair behind your ear, you squinted in the dim lighting the sun left behind, soon recognizing the familiar stickers adorning the cover.
"Oh! Thank you so much, I'll need this for that test tomorrow." Gently taking it from his hands, you looked over and smiled at him as you put it in your school bag. "Have a nice night! See you!"
He only hummed in acknowledgement, not trusting his voice at the moment. And he stayed in that spot as he waved you off when you walked away. And he stayed in that spot as he wondered if he messed up.
-
"You're seeing this too?" Hizashi whispered as he leaned towards his dark haired friend. Both were silently staring at their usually bubbly and energetic companion as he sat with his head placed right on the desk. His hands hung limply by his sides, and they both jumped as he let out a loud groan.
"I messed everything up."
The two boys quickly glanced at each other and gave a small shrug before settling on helping their heartbroken friend.
"Well, what did you even do? " Hizashi questioned as he reached into his pants pocket to pull out a piece of gum. "Besides, I'm sure it wasn't even something that bad. "
Slowly, Shirakumo brought his head up to look at the two properly, before going on to explain the previous night's events. By the time he was done explaining, he was yearning to throw his head on the desk more than ever.
"I should've just asked her to a movie or something! Why was everything suddenly so difficult... ? " Looking at his open hand he previously held clenched, Shirakumo gritted his teeth in frustration - though it was more humiliation.
"I dunno, the heart's weird like that sometimes man," Hizashi shrugged, not too keen on giving relationship advice, "If I were you, I'd just try to find something we both like to do and go from there. "
"Hmm... I don't really know what we have in common.. " It was at this point that Shirakumo truly realized how much he still needed to know about you.
"Why don't you just go somewhere nice to have fun or something? Try to get used to being around her so this doesn't happen again. " Straight to the point, Shouta was as blunt as ever.
"It's not that I'm not used to being around her! I think.... I think it's 'cause I'm scared of what would happen if she said 'no' ..." Moving his gaze to the floor, a worried expression took control of Shirakumo's face. "I don't know what I'd do with myself."
"Well, then at that point you don't really have any other choice besides confessing." Nemuri's voice interjected from the door of the classroom.
The three all turned to face her, and in turn she confidently made her way in. Stopping right in front of Shirakumo at his desk, she put a hand on her hip.
"You," She started, pointing a finger directly in front of his face, "Have a bad case of lovesickness my friend, and luckily for you I seem to have a bit of knowledge in this department." Nemuri explained confidently as she placed a hand directly on her chest.
"You need to work her up to you. Small acts of service!" She threw her hands up in the air, "Be a gentleman! Open doors for her, carry her things, buy her little snacks and trinkets... And then," Bringing a fist down onto her hand, Nemuri finished, "Find the perfect moment and confess everything that you feel about her! Let your heart take the reins and show her how much you truly love her, what you think of her, make her feel special! "
Placing her hands on her cheeks, Nemuri couldn't help but gush as she got more and more excited. "Ahh, to see the beginning of a highschool sweetheart relationship! It's so pure, it makes my heart throb!"
Shota and Hizashi only stood awkwardly in the background as Nemuri continued to rant to a very jumbled Shirakumo, both not having the slightest bit of knowledge when it came to romance. Still, they loved Shirakumo and would do whatever it took to make their friend happy.
-
It was the beginning of another day, and you looked forward to the trip your Sensei had planned for your class. To understand what it was like to be a hero on an average day, you all were split into random groups and sent to patrol small neighborhoods. It was to test your knowledge on observing small odd things out, and to ensure you wouldn't mindlessly walk about, but instead that you'd put effort into constantly staying vigil. Small neighborhoods never had anything happen to them, as most villain attacks happened in the city. This was simply a test of observation.
"Aren't you excited Nemuri? Trips are always fun!" Exiting the locker rooms freshly adorned in your hero uniforms, (for plot's sake let's say Nemuri has an outfit that'd be approved by the school) Nemuri could only hesitantly nod, not wanting to diminish your excitement. No one wanted to go on this trip, as everyone knew it'd be extremely uneventful.
Making your way to the buses, you and Nemuri met up with the trio.
"Hey hey! You ready to get rockin'?" Putting up a rock and roll fist, Mic chuckled as you parroted him and put one up as well. "So ready! "
Slinging an arm around your shoulder, you turned to see Shirakumo already next to you. "Well, hopefully we get put in a group together!" Swinging a pointer finger back and forth between the two of you with his other hand he continued with a bright smile, "You and me, we make an unstoppable team! "
Your face warmed at the extreme close proximity, not having seen him this close before. "Y-yeah, and Zashi, Shota, and Nemi!" Really, you couldn't think too sharply as your brain began to overheat with your cheeks.
Nemuri smiled mischievously, tapping the tips of her fingers together as she went over her plan she made with Shirakumo. This first part she simply asked was to gouge whether or not you'd reject any advances made, and based off your reaction, he was in the green.
"Wow Shirakumo, got your hands all over her don'cha?" A couple guys snickered to each other as they passed by, and your face warmed in embarrassment as you pulled yourself from his hold.
Huffing, Shirakumo hated seeing you upset. Before he could say anything, Shota surprisingly beat him to it.
"Mind your business, you don't need to make everything you see weird."
They teasingly put their hands up, "Look, we're just messing with you guys, nothing to gripe abou-"
"Then leave us alone. We don't want to hear your jokes."
The opening of the bus doors cut off the conflict before it could escalate, and as you passed Shota sitting in his seat on the bus, you gave his shoulder a squeeze.
"Thanks, I appreciate you."
As you made your way to your seat, Shota tried to hide his faint blush by turning to face the window, but was quickly snapped back when Hizashi threw himself into the seat beside him.
You took a similar seat next to the window, and to your surprise you watched Nemuri walk past you only to sit in the seat behind you - next to the quiet girl with the archer quirk.
Seeing your baffled expression, she awkwardly shrugged her shoulders. "I, uh, wanted to discuss Moji's quirk! We never talk so I thought I'd take the chance, y'know?"
You raised an eyebrow at her sudden behavior, but ultimately didn't question her. Instead, you welcomed Shirakumo as he slid into the seat next to you.
As the bus rumbled to life and began to set off, everyone began discussing who they might be paired with and what they might expect. You animatedly discussed with Shirakumo what pairings would be best, and he added on to your excitement, happy to have you talking to him at all.
Sitting behind the two of you, Nemuri uselessly tried to squeeze a word out of the girl she sat next to, but in the end she never looked anywhere but straight ahead to Nemuri's unease.
-
"I want you all in order now! We're in a residential area, so be respectful!"

*Japanese neighborhoods are very, very different from American ones*
As everyone quieted and stood at attention, the teacher went on once more.
"Now, I need you all to remember who you sat next to on the bus, because that's exactly who you'll be paired with for this activity. "
He paused to allow the students to think about who they were next to, and whether they should revel or hang their head in disdain.
Feeling a tap on his shoulder, Shirakumo turned and made eye contact with Nemuri, who in turn winked and gave him a thumbs up. His face warmed as he smiled and gave one back.
Once everyone was beside their respective partner, they obediently made their way to the neighborhood they were to care for.
-
"Soo, think we're gonna find anything interesting?"
Walking casually beside you with his arms slung behind his head, Shirakumo clearly showed no belief that anyone would run into trouble.
You scanned the small neighborhood, looking at the walls, bushes that lined the houses, and at the flock of birds making their way into the air. It was quiet, uneventful. "Mm, probably not. " Crossing your arms you whined. "Ahh, this was what Nemuri probably was trying to complain about, huh?"
Turning to look at you Shirakumo tried to offer some reassurance, "Aww don't be that way. I'm sure we'll run into something cool!" Raising a fist into the air, he smiled. "I'm positive we'll be the ones to bring back the coolest story to the class! You and me, taking down the biggest villain this neighborhood has to offer! "
You laughed as he jokingly punched the air repeatedly in front of him, practically brimming with bright energy. It was refreshing to have someone like him around, someone to always reassure and lift you up.
The sun was beginning to set, and you knew your class would be held far after dark. That was when villains mainly come out, no? It was bright as it lowered, and you had to hold a hand up to keep the light from your eyes. However, you looked up when a shadow was cast over your eyes, and found it to be caused by a little blue cloud floating in front of you. You turned to Shirakumo, smiling bashfully as he grinned back.
Time seemed to slow as your boredom increased. You and Shirakumo continued walking ahead, and finally you found a turn on the path you could both take so the sun wasn't blinding you the whole time. The houses in this new area had more greenery growing, and in turn shrouded out the sunlight.
While the lack of light was nice for your eyes, it wasn't for your body as you began to shiver. Winter was closely approaching, and you could only hope your class wouldn't have to do as many outdoor activities.
"Y'know, I kinda like this assignment. Easy A+, just walk around a bunch with a buddy and you're all set!"
You smiled at his incessantly joyous attitude, wishing that you yourself could gain such an ability. For now though, it was more than enough to have him by your side. Eventually he began to whistle a jaunty tune he had picked up from a commercial, with you scanning the right side and him walking and scanning the left.
The neighborhood was a quaint one, little houses lined up in neat yet unique rows, and you thought about the people inside of them. How those very people in the houses you walked by were to depend on people like you in the future.
It was daunting, to have so much responsibility on your shoulders. At the beginning of your admission to UA, you had wanted to be a support or rescue hero. Less being on the main field and more on the sidelines. Less weight crushing atop of you, less damage made if you failed...
"Somethin's turning in that head of yours," as you brought your gaze up to Shirakumo, he stuck out a pointer finger and tapped your forehead a couple times. "Tell me what's on your mind, I'm curious. "
Your face warmed slightly, pushing away the self doubt that momentarily distracted you. The houses continued to pass by you, one after another, and as you comprehended just how many people were to truly rely on you, your heart stirred. The feeling was sickening, so many lives that were constantly in danger. And if you make a mistake? All those lives... Gone.
You both halted as Shirakumo slung an arm around your shoulder and stopped, bringing you to a stop with him. "Something not good I'm guessing, huh?"
His expression contorted as he furrowed his eyebrows in worry, and you hurriedly waved your arms as you tried to reassure him. "Really, it's nothing! Sorry, I was just getting distracted..."
Gazing at the rows and rows of seemingly endless houses, you pushed a stand of hair behind your ear. "It's just... There's so many people that depend on us... All these people in these houses are only a small fraction, I've realized."
Quickly, Shirakumo's expression softened. "Ah, that's what's going on, isn't it?" Confused, you took your attention off the neighborhood and passed it onto him. He retracted his arm and turned to face you properly instead once you turned towards him.
"It's just like at the beginning of the year, you're getting worried again."
He might've acted oblivious and ignorant most of the time, but you knew that was just out of fun. In reality, he was an extremely smart kid. Observation was one of his key things in particular, needed especially for someone with a quirk like his. And with how well you knew him and his group, it was no surprise he was able to read you like an open book.
The ground was now where your attention was turned to, not knowing how to continue. You plucked your fingers as you mulled over how to properly phrase your thoughts.
"It's just-" You sighed, exhausted. "There's so much waiting for us... I don't know if I can handle it all, I've always been a little slower than everyone in the class-"
You yelped in surprise as Shirakumo firmly planted both his hands on your shoulders, his own shaking. You had never seen him get this worked up before, it was odd. This whole situation was new to you, as you had never dwindled on your thoughts for this long before. It was routine at this point, just to follow in the footsteps of whoever was in front of you as you ran in the back.
"Don't say that now." His voice was firm, yet a slight waver could be noticed. "It's... It's natural to feel overwhelmed, especially when the stakes are so high." Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, he looked up at you once more. "Tell me, why exactly did you want to become a hero?"
It was a question so many had asked you before. So many times that question was passed around to everyone in the hero department, it was natural to already have an automated answer. This time felt different, however. You thought a little harder about it.
"I... Want to help people." You started off unsure, yet as you continued, your voice began to get more firm. "I want to bring comfort to those who'd depend on me, just like how I felt whatever I watched heroes on TV as a kid."
You gritted your teeth hard as the memories flooded in. "It always filled me with inspiration, seeing them battle the villain and save the civilians... I always wanted to be someone to bring a smile to their face... I'm just worried I can't live up to that. "
Shirakumo's expression softened as a small smile tugged at his mouth. You were one of the main people he always looked up to throughout his time at UA, and as you spoke it only further cemented that fact.
"You have a good heart, and that's half the battle right there. Being a hero isn't just about skill or talent, it's about the drive, about having a good heart. It's about compassion and dedication. And you have all of that."
You sighed a bit. While you knew your intentions weren't the issue, it was nice to be reassured. You had the heart, and you yearned to reach your goal. But what use is a yearning heart when your skills don't match that want?
"I've heard it countless times... That even the strongest people would struggle to become a hero without the passion or drive. But," You looked up at the rising moon that began to light up the once darkened area around you. "What more is there to do when you want to catch up but you can't? I don't think I can do it, as much as I want to do it..."
Shaking his head, Shirakumo sighed. He knew you were worried at the beginning of the year, but you had progressed so incredibly much that he was in awe. So to hear that you were still struggling to see that... It felt defeating.
Yet, despite your doubts and fears, he could see the determination in your eyes. He could recognize the passion you held in your heart. And that's what made his in turn beat a little harder.
"There'll always be room for doubt, you think I wasn't afraid when I was starting out? Or anyone else for that matter? Everyone comes up to that same thought of yours... 'What if I can't?'..."
It was so odd to think about. To think of the boisterous, confident, content Shirakumo as scared. Scared and worried, just as you. Yet, it made sense. Who wouldn't be worried starting out?
He took notice of your interest and continued on. "Being a hero isn't always about being the best and the strongest, and even then those at the top still make mistakes of their own. Being a hero - it's all about standing up and doing what's right in the face of fear. That's what courage is, after all."
His eyes shimmered with passion as he spoke, everything eventually pouring straight from his heart. He needed you to know that you weren't the only one who was afraid. He needed you to know why he looked up to you so much.
His expression relaxed as he rested a hand on your shoulder once more. "Being a hero isn't a race against others, y'know. It's about you, becoming the best version of yourself."
You smiled, putting a hand atop his that rested on your shoulder. He smiled back in response, meeting your eyes. You've come so far, but your self doubt was blocking your vision from seeing how much progress you made.
"Believe me, you're progressing. You're learning, growing, every single day. "
Your expression formed into one of surprised acknowledgement. You were so stuck on focusing on what you can't, on what might happen if you can't, that you never realized just how much you could. And that in order to push past the risk of making a mistake, you'd need to do your best to train yourself on how to change your "I can't"s into "I can"s.
Your smile widened as you grabbed his hand fully now. "I see... It's all about progress, huh?" Looking up into the soft expression of his that he gave you, you felt something warm blossom inside of you. "I guess I was thinking about it in black and white, putting so much pressure on myself... I always remember you telling me I was thinking too hard about things." You teased him, causing a larger grin to form on his face as he lightly chuckled.
Shirakumo nodded approvingly, a hint of satisfaction and relief glinting in his eyes. "Exactly, that's the spirit! You're still learning, still growing. And you will mess up, and you'd probably wish you hadn't. But that's how we learn after all."
He leaned in a little closer to you, as if the two of you weren't close enough. Oddly though, neither of you were concerned about the distance this time. It felt comfortable, and warm. His gaze was steady as it focused on your eyes.
"Just remember, your worth isn't defined by your failure or your success. It's defined by who you are, by what's in here-" He took the hand that you placed on top of his and brought it down to be placed on top of where your heart was. Together, the both of you sat for a moment in silence, simply focusing on the feeling of it beating. It was the most beautiful thing to him.
"I see... Recognizing both the good and bad aspects of yourself.. recognizing that you're only human in the end. That we both are..." You looked up from where both your hands rested, a wistful, relieved expression taking hold. "I always tried following in your footsteps y'know, you've always been someone I looked forward to learning from and I suppose I was right." You lightly laughed, the sound filling the otherwise silent air around the both of you.
His eyes widened in relivation, not knowing that you looked up to him. It always seemed the opposite way to him. You were always the one with the better grades, the one who was always progressing more and more each day.
"I guess we both look up to each other then, huh?" He chuckled as he brought his hand that was intertwined with his in between the both of you. You couldn't contain the warmth that coated your cheeks once again. "Well... You care. And it shows. So thank you."
He couldn't contain the large grin from forming, and it lit up your whole world seeing him so stupidly happy. "Y'know, I'm glad we met. Out of all the different people I could've run into, I really hit the jackpot with you." You blushed a little harder and lightly hit his arm in joking with your free hand, the smile on your face giving it all away.
Suddenly, his expression began to turn a little more serious than before, and it drew your full attention. The grip he had on your hands only tightened a bit, and you were suddenly aware of the close proximity between the two of you.
"Ever since I met you, you always made me feel a little strange. I always felt a little different around you than when I was with everyone else, and I was never able to put my finger on it." His eyebrows furrowed, his mind concentrating on letting everything he was thinking pour out as naturally as he could get it.
Your heart beat a little faster, blood warming everywhere you could imagine as you began to tremble slightly.
"You're amazing, I promise! Out of everyone I met, you're the kindest, the most passionate, the smartest... " You watched as his gaze slipped off to the side, a blush tinting his face with a lopsided smile. Your face felt as though it was on fire. "What are you trying to say, Shirakumo?"
"Oboro."
You could only hum in confusion as you tilted your head a bit. His attention was back on you, clear and concise.
"Call me Oboro, okay? You're too close to me to be calling me by my family name."
You tried mustering up a bit of confidence of your own as your shakily held eye contact with him. "Well, Oboro," It felt so odd. But it was a nice odd to have the privilege given to you. "What's all this about exactly? "
He felt as though his heart was moving his body and not his brain. Grabbing your hands felt so natural to him. Holding them up, he faced you directly, so close your noses could've touched.
"You're... You're amazing. You've always been progressing so much, and you're one of the smartest in the class," He spoke so fast he had to take a moment to heave one last breath.
"Not only that, you have such a passionate heart, it's what pushes me to keep smiling whenever I feel down." He was closer now, his eyes sparkling, twinkling with some unknown joy. "It's why I've always looked up to you... It's why... Why I fell in love with you!"
Both of you sat in stunned silence for a beat, simply looking into each other's flushed faces. It was the longest couple of seconds Shirakumo ever felt in his life.
Shakily, you brought your gaze down as you did many times before. Tremors shook your body, the source being your heart nearly tearing itself from your chest. Shirakumo only stood in place, awaiting any kind of reaction.
Looking down, he saw a droplet of something hit the floor under you. Then another. And another. Quickly, he panicked and grabbed your shoulders, bringing you up to face him. "A-are you crying?! I'm sorry if I said it too fast! Don't think you have to be obligated-"
A couple tears dotted your eyes, but...
You were smiling. Smiling the most he's every seen since he'd known you.
"I'm honored to hold such a spot in your heart, Oboro." You wiped your eyes a bit, but still looked happy as you did so. "You've always been special to me as well, always lighting up my day and helping to bring me back up whenever I was at my lowest. I'm more than happy to let you know that..." You took a deep breath. "That I love you, too. "
It was a moment he'd never forget. The moonlight lit up your features perfectly, and you looked the happiest he'd ever seen you. It was perfect. And the whole time, everything felt natural, the fear that gripped his heart earlier melting away into a syrupy, sweet concoction of love and joy.
You were close. And he was too. Together, you both absentmindedly leaned into each other without much thought, eventually ending as his lips met yours. He moved one hand to place on your waist, and the other to hold your cheek as he leaned in further, desperate for more. The hand around your waist pulled you in closer as you put your own hand on his chest to grip his shirt, drawn to his warmth.
It was quiet. Quiet and comfortable as the two of you got lost in each other. You both smiled as your noses bumped into each other, with him sighing into you as if it brought him immediate relief from some unknown tension. You only had so much room to breathe though, and as Oboro wasn't showing any signs of letting up anytime soon, you took the initiative to detach yourself from him, ignoring his whine.
Both of you were left panting and flushed, new to these emotions and experiences being discovered. Yet, as you looked up at him, you could only feel... Warm. His smile was like that of the sun, as it always lit up the area it was in - no matter how dark it was.
To him, as you looked up into his eyes he felt as though he could get lost in yours. The entire time since the failed confession, he was constantly fretting over how it could've gone, as to what he could've gained or lost.
It was always a risk. But looking at you now, he was glad he took it. It was just as he told you. Sometimes one overlooks how much they have working for their benefit and instead focuses on the possible chance of loss, deciding to not take a risk that could end in their favor.
He was elated to have you by his side, and he was going to keep you smiling as much as he could. It was the least he could do, after all.
-
You were the newest addition to their little trio, Hizashi and Shota both breathing out a sigh of relief at the sight of their lovesick friend no longer pinning and not having been struck down. It was the best case scenario, and in the end everyone was overjoyed for him.
Although, seeing as he was the most open and boisterous in the class, it did have its ups and downs. Such as when he would drag you all over the classroom to introduce you to your own classmates as his girlfriend, or to random students down the hall, even to some teachers. It was a habit of his, showing off everything that made him excited.
Even then, his enthusiasm only seemed to grow more with your newly established relationship. You didn't think you could handle another incident of him cheering for you at the top of his lungs during training again. Being tied with Shirakumo seemed to bring all attention onto you as well, but in the end you got used to it. He meant well, and intended to keep things bright and happy.
It was what he was best at, after all. With a smile as bright as the sun itself, it was able to part even the darkest of clouds to bring his light in.

The U.A. days of teachers...
Teen!Hizashi: Ducks are better than rabbits-
Teen!Y/n: What? Rabbits are adorable. Have you ever been in a fight with a duck? Ducks are jerks!
Teen!Hizashi: Duck is delicious! Rabbit is all gamey-
Teen!Y/n: We’re not talking about flavor, 'Zashi!
Teen!Hizashi: Flavour counts!
Teen!Oboro: Who carries around a duck’s foot for good luck? Anyone?
Teen!Hizashi: You wrap yourself in a comforter stuffed with rabbit hair. I’ll wrap myself in a comforter stuffed with duck feathers! Who’s cozier?
Teen!Y/n: Okay, but-
Teen!Hizashi: NO, NO, NO, NO. WHO’S COZIER?
Y/n: Then why don’t we take a rabbit, a duck, stick ‘em in a cardboard box, and let them fight it out!
Teen!Oboro: BECAUSE IT’S ILLEGAL, Y/N!
Teen!Y/n: ONLY IF WE BET ON IT, CLOUDHEAD!
Teen!Aizawa: I- Jesus-

masterlist

Aizawa Shouta’s life was full of regrets. Some were small, quick mistakes that are forgotten easily. Others were heavy, forever burned in his mind, dragging him down. Some things you can’t let go. Moments full of guilt. His past is a heavy weight on his shoulders. Every single regret made him the man he is today.
There is one day, that will haunt him forever. A day that formed every future decision of him. Just at 16 years facing the cruel reality. If he had been faster, better, stronger… He was unprepared and naive. A life taken too soon, he made sure it’ll never happen again. Everything is planned through, rational. He had to push these kids hard if they wanted to stand a chance. He may be brutal, but he only does what’s necessary.
Maybe it helps him to accept his best friends death. That it wasn’t his fault, that he does the right thing. To move on and improve. He always thought he was good at that, being calm and collected and such. If only he’d stop holding himself back.
You’d never find someone like Shirakumo again in your life, that’s what Aizawa always thought. Still, there is one person hitting too close to home. He hated that. How could he let go of this terrible accident when there was such a perfect copy of Shirakumo constantly in his business. He didn’t want to see that all too similar smile, the rare cloud like hair he’s never seen before, or the bubbly personality that could always lighten the mood.
It hurts to think about.
When he was still in High School, she was a lot smaller. He hadn’t seen her often back then. Only a few times when he visited Shirakumo, but of course he knew his little sister. Family was always important to Shirakumo, something Aizawa could never fully understand. He didn’t hate his family, but he didn’t value it as much.
She was 4, maybe even 5 years younger. He didn’t really care about her back then. After Shirakumo’s passing he only saw her at the funeral and then luckily he didn’t have to face his dead friends family anymore. It made him so terrible guilty.
The next time was years later. She was in her last year of High School when he faced her again. If he was honest, he had forgotten about her but seeing how she had grown up to look like her big brother, of course he recognized her. It was more surprising that she remembered him too.
She seemed happy to see him again. It made him uncomfortable. He’d run into her more than often during patrol. She’d always come up to him and talk. It seemed like she wanted to get closer to him, for the wrong intentions, he quickly realized. He would never dare to even think about Shirakumo’s sister like that, and she was still in High School. So he pushed her away.
When he was still in High School, before the accident, Shirakumo told him that his sister seemed to have a tiny crush on him. He barely interacted or talked to her, he thought Shirakumo was ridiculous.
Well, after all those failed attempts at getting closer, he might’ve been right, a little bit. How embarassing. Despite him pushing her away they still stayed in contact. It wasn’t too bad to have someone who shares the same kind of emptiness. The loss of a loved one.
After her graduation, he barely heard from her, which he was kind of grateful for. She was nice, but she was hung up on her dead brothers friend trying to find comfort. They’d both have to live their life. Move on.
And that was it.
Well, not really. It should’ve stayed at that, because now he was in too deep. She studied medicine. She didn’t take the same path as her brother, for now obvious reasons. If that was her decision or their parents, he had no idea. He was happy for her. Still saving the people. Rescuing the ones in need. Some own kind of heroic.
He didn’t really know until he ran into her after a rough night on patrol. She was training to become a doctor, so she started as a nurse in some hospital in Musutafu. Aizawa was more than suprised to see her walking into the room, fixing him up. She looked rather suprised too. Scolded him to be more careful and then sent him off.
Somehow luck wasn’t on his side the following weeks, maybe even months. The villain rate increased rapidly so he had no choice than to come into the hospital more often than not. He’d rather fix up himself, if the wounds were easy to take care of. At some point she was getting tired of fixing him up, but still did it.
She is the spitting image of her brother, just more feminine and he hates it. He wants to hate it. But it gives him closure somehow. He was selfish, and he knew. They started to see each other outside of the hospital too, what a suprise. When she starts her morning shift, he ends his patrol, so sometimes one of them bought coffee since they were in the same area. Just a quick exchange and then they’d go off to do their job. Or sleep.
At some point she gave him her number and threatened him if he wouldn’t call when he was hurt and she was off duty. If it was still an attempt to get more of him, he wasn’t sure. Maybe it’s just her being herself, it is how she acts around other people too. Always friendly and trying to help.
And then the day came where he actually had to call her. He dreaded that day because it meant there were more boundaries crossed than he was comfortable with. But she insisted. He had to. For them.
It happened more often that he would end in her apartment, getting stitched up in her bathroom. That was okay. Friends helping friends.
Shirakumo’s death date came closer. The mood was always sour during this time. His birthday too. He wasn’t the best at coping. He’d just sit in his empty apartment staring at the floor, maybe visit the graveyard if he didn’t feel like a complete failure. Yamada himself said he was always an ass to be around during that time.
Not his fault Yamada is better with emotions than him.
It was around one week before the day. He felt so alone, which he would normally prefer, but this was different. Maybe he could see her, they’re so much alike, it would help him. He was certain. So he called.
He was in her apartment again, this time on the couch rather than the bathroom. She sat down beside him and no one said nothing for quite a while.
“Why did you call? Normally I only see you to fix you up.”
“…I miss him.”
“oh.”
She got up and quickly came back with a bottle of some liquor and two glasses. He doesn’t remember what liquor.
“I didn’t know this was gonna be a shit show today..”
“M’sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
It should’ve stayed at that but he had to push, push for answers. She reminds him so much of him, it hurts. Always fixing him up, puttin him back together and listening to him sulking about Shirakumo even though he was her brother and not his.
“Why are you doing all this.”
“What… Oh Aizawa, I always found you admirable. You don’t give yourself enough credit. I know you don’t seem to be too fond of me, and I totally understand. I’m doing this more for myself, as selfish as that is.”
‘We both.’ he tought. He hated himself for sitting in this apartment. He should be the mature one. Two ‘adults’ sitting on a couch together and sulking for apparently two different reasons.
‘This is getting too much. I can’t do this.’
He doesn’t remember how long he’d been sitting there. The atmosphere was tense, and he could feel himself heating up from the liquor.
She broke the silence first. “Would you say something?” she sounded so desperate. He was desperate too, for closure. He needed something even if he didn’t want it. It was totally his mistake. Totally.
How could he end up in her bed that night. Something to add on the list on regrets.
He couldn’t fuck up more. His best friends little sister, his dead best friends little sister. He should be ashamed. She lies there, hoping for more than just a night of..whatever.
How could he do something like this to Shirakumo. He promised to keep away from her, tell no one about this, apologize- Hell, anything just so this never happened.
Somehow, he always found his way back. His mood only worsened from time to time because he said it’s enough one too many times. He patrols, passing her apartment building, and somehow, he rings the doorbell. Every. Single. Time. Of course she opens, and he’s all over her again just to quickly disappear the next morning.
He ends up hurt, and despite his better judgement goes to her apartment to get fixed up. He may take his shirt off so he can get treated, but hers is next. And every single time he tells himself: ‘Next time, I fix myself up.’
Somehow that never happens.
Then he starts to call her to come to his apartment when he’s having a hard time. But the difference is, he can’t run away. She happily stays in his apartment cooking breakfast before leaving around noon. It makes him uncomfortable.
She thinks of this as more, than just finding comfort. Maybe she doesn’t see why he is doing it and how he regrets it every time. She wanted this for what, years? She seems much happier. He isn’t a person to talk about feelings. He made it clear enough that they are not a couple or anything close to that.
And she’s aware. But there’s hope. That he gets attached to her. He reaches out so of course he wants to see her. She thinks of them more as friends but less than a couple while he thinks it’s clearly a mistake he can’t stop making.
She has some sort of sense to know it’s wrong. When they hastily pull of their clothes, he always sees that she’s pushing the picture of her and Shirakumo down, so he can’t see. It’s on a shelf right at the front door. And even if they go to her bedroom, the frame comes down every time he visits, cause he shouldn’t see.
And when she catches him before he can sneak off, she brings him to the door, where she pulls the picture up again. And there’s always this hopeful look everytime he leaves. He hates it.
He wants to hate it. He wants this misery to end. They won’t ever be together and he knows, she doesn’t. She wouldn’t understand. Because the worst is, she’s pretty yes, but she has so much resemblance with him. When she lays on her bed, he just buries his face in her neck or really anywhere, so he doesn’t have to face that hair, that look. He just can’t.
He doesn’t think she’s noticed yet. She seems quite happy with their arrangement.
It goes on for years.
