Tiny pocket dolls

For the longest time, I have a love/hate relationship with blind boxes. I personally think it's a gamble and therefore a bit of a money trap. But, once in a while I do like to try my luck. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes no. This is going to be one of those times that I think I got lucky.

I love foxes. So when I saw Kikagoods selling these blind box tiny BJD dolls with a fox girl as their promo photo, I decided "OK, I'm going to try my luck."

Well.... Let's say, sometimes I do get lucky.

While the engineering leaves something to be desired (the head is too heavy for her to stand on her own safely, the tail is too heavy and the connection from body to tail is entirely too fragile), I am still happy that I get to have a cute little fox friend.

Now, I just need to build her a nice little home of her own!

ok i was excited for these two. they’re from the aiye colorful brocade series. they happened to be at a particularly good price so I picked up two at once… and happened to get the two with the most matching color scheme as well. lol. they are sisters, to me…~

also miss tigress accidentally came with two sets of her orange shoes. so i decided to have miss cat match her with them as i think it brings out her orange accents even more :)

Fox Habitat #3

It's been a while since the last update, but there's some progress. A bit of a surprising find, but hey, it makes sense that a cafe would have some background music, right? Just me?

So I picked up this wooden puzzle/music box set from the local dollar store, and I loved the concept of and took a gamble to see if the sizes would fit. Well, would you look at that!

The size looks pretty plausible! Maybe a tad on the big side, but it's serviceable. I may end up putting on more details on the box itself, but so far so good. We have the first piece of furniture!
