33. Headphones or earbuds? I assume this is an Americanism because we call everything headphones. I have the white apple ones with the string that go in your ears. I’d lose the airpod things immediately and the over ear headphones hurt my helix piercings.

Octopuses Flowers and Jellyfish

I've probably let you guys know about this before, but I have a small business account on Instagram that I'd appreciate if you guys would follow or like some posts on. I crocket and sew little creatures for keyrings and things like that.

The name is gallifreystitches63. If you see a profile with a blue scrunchie and a frog on it, that's the right one.

I do scrunchies, airpod cases, frogs, flowers, octopuses and jellyfish right now, although I'm working on some stress ball friends. DM's are open for orders, tell me what colours you like and whether or not you want a smiley face on your creature!

It's very important to me that I get this business off the ground because I have no other way of making a living. I am chronically ill and can't work, and I need to get out of my parents house ASAP for my own safety.

2. Keyring

significance -This keyring was a gift from my dad. It holds sentimental value from my childhood as it was an inside joke between my dad, sister and I. My sister has one that says 'go away'. My dad designed them, laser cut them, and gifted them to us on my sister's 21st birthday.

New thinking/connections - It inspires me to create a physical product of what I create and seeing it as a physical object is an incredible feeling

pov - As my dad designed and got this laser cut, I find it inspiring how you can see something on a screen and then be able to hold it and own the physical copy.

visual elements - Typographic choices and elements, kerning, font choices, letter spacing within the keyring

physical qualities - Made from stainless steel.

technical components + processes - Professionally laser cut, designed using Rhino software.

context - social + contemporary

relationships to work - This relates to the majority of typographic work I have created. As it is a physical object, it also relates to collateral objects I have designed as part of my projects like the campaign in 1st year, sem 2 and 2nd year, sem 2.

3. Rings

significance - My rings were gifted to me by my mum, grandma and nanny. One from each. Sentimental value

New thinking/connections - made my connection to my family stronger as I wear an item that reminds me of them each time I see them.

Visual elements - 9ct gold, garnet, sapphire, diamonds, embedded stones, engraving.

technical components + processes - engraving, shaping the ring, sizing the ring, collecting the stones, embedding the stones, polishing the metal.

Context - cultural + social + environmental

relationships to work - jewellery is another form of art and design. The rings had to be sketched when the designer had the idea, from there, there is the whole production system which is very similar tp the graphic design process and any other creative process.

4. Spoon

significance - this is the spoon that I used as a child. I would refuse to use any other spoon and my family knew it as Chloe's spoon. I always wanted to savour my food.

5. AirPods

significance - I use my AirPods every day, I don't know what id do without music. I use them mostly on my way to and from uni, while doing my uni work and to listen to music in everyday life.

New thinking/connections - Music is inspiring and allows me to focus and shut off the rest of the world

pov - Music is another form of art that is inspiring to everyone. My AirPods allow me to listen to music whenever and wherever without playing it out loud which makes it very personal.

6. Lip Balm

significance - I always carry lip balm with me as I get dry lips very often. within my friend group, I'm known to be the one to always lip balm. I have a small addiction to lip balm as I think that having consciously dry lips is one of the worst feelings.

7. Camera

significance - This is my grandmas old digital camera that she gave me when digital cameras started to come back. I like use it on nights out with my friends as its fun to look at all the photos together

11. AGI Programme

significance - I got this programme from the AGI conference I attended, I also now have it framed in my room, next to the poster I bought and the 2 books I bought. I got the programme signed by Lars Muller and Stefan sagmeister, two of the largest designers in the world, so I hold this close to me as I don't think ill ever get and opportunity like this again.

New thinking/connections - In terms of connections, I was also to physically connect with these designers which was a huge highlight for me in my career so far. AGI was a once in a lifetime event and I am so grateful I was able to attend. These designers have opened my mind to more concepts about design and the industry itself. The design community is so welcoming people are willing to help and give guidance.

significance - mascara is a key step in my makeup routine, it makes me feel more confident and pretty.

15. WHY WE DESIGN book

significance - This is the first proper design book I have purchased and I was lucky enough to purchase it a lower price from AGI open. This book is the first within my own personal design library.

New thinking/connections - Having the physically copy feels a lot more significant and real in terms of research and inspiration. Internet research is also very helpful however I think that a book makes the research more valuable as you have gone out of your way to find the infromation rather than doing a quick google search.

16. Tattoos

significance - my tattoo's were done by one of my best friends, who is a tattoo artist. The flower tattoo I have on my arm was a drawing done my nanny. Id say that that one is my most meaningful tattoo. The others are purely for aesthetics and just because I liked them. However they all have meaning as my best friend has done them all for me.

New thinking/connections - tattoos are another form of art that is very personal to each individual. Whether it be cultural, aesthetic, religious, or personal. Everyones tattoos have some meaning to them and they're all different in their own way and no two are the same.

pov - I love the idea that you can personalise your body with drawings. Such a creative and personal way to express who you are. Tattoos are also a great conversation starter and I love when people ask about mine.

- jina's voice sometimes automatically softens too when she's talking to mina

- plays 'minecraft' together whenever they can

- they've tamed and adopted at least 16 wolves together

- jina gets protective over mina in the game

- “die, creeper! stay away from my mitang!”

- plays other games together too

- absolute rivals in 'kart rider' and 'animal crossing'

- “my island is better than yours” “in your dreams”

- loves visiting each other's islands though

- and hanging out together in the game

- and when they're playing 'among us'? their trust for each other just goes out the window

- also builds lego sets together, sometimes with jeongyeon too

- jina loses her patience really quickly though, so mina has to calm her down

- “i can't find the piece i need! *slams instruction manual on table*” “it's okay, we can do this together”

- jina sometimes speaks in english with mina, to help mina improve her english and keep in touch with her american roots

- jina is far from being an artist, but she loves drawing with chaeyoung

- jina would watch chaeyoung whenever she chooses to sketch in their free time

- and would sometimes try to join in

- chaeyoung often lets jina use her own creativity and artistic style, but she would pitch in pointers if jina asks

- chaeyoung likes doodling on jina's hands and arms, giving her temporary tattoos

- it used to scare fans, making them think jina started getting tattoos too, but after finding out the truth they've grown used to finding random scribbles on jina

- jina helped choose some of chaeyoung's tattoo designs

- a couple were designed by jina herself (with improvements by chaeyoung)

- wants to get matching tattoos together once jina stops being a scaredy cat

- joined jype on the same day

- were each other's first friends there

- since jina knows basic mandarin, she was able to communicate with tzuyu fairly well

- jina made tzuyu feel more comfortable and helped her adjust to south korea

- have been inseparable ever since

- are called "puppy love duo" because they both love love love dogs

- tzuyu appears to physically melt for jina

- and because they're both the puppies of the group

- and also because they are a popular ship that's seen to have an innocent kind of love for each other, hence the phrase puppy love

- savage maknae? cold? intimidating? nah, not with jina

- even the tiniest hug from jina is enough to make tzuyu smile from ear to ear

- jina often coerces tzuyu to speak more if she's being too quiet

- with jina around tzuyu is never excluded from the conversation, she makes sure of that

- goes to dog cafés together

- buddy is best friends with butter

- butter and kaya are basically their children

- thinking of adopting another dog and raising it in the dorms, together

- can be very playful with each other

- exchanges teases and jokes, and likes to mess around together

- but jina also understands when tzuyu wants to stay quiet for a while

- tzuyu, like sana, is jina's baby

- jina is constantly worrying over tzuyu

- whether she's eaten, if she's too tired, etc.

- jina would sacrifice everything she had in a heartbeat if it's for tzuyu

- tzuyu isn't into pda much

- but behind closed doors there's lots of cuddling

- and occasional cheek kisses (mostly tzuyu on the receiving end)

- they honestly just become the most affectionate puppies with each other
