Just read the scholomance trilogy and enjoyed it. Some nitpicks (and one thing in the third book that literally isn't possible!!!! But it's a book about magic I should let the mundane airline stuff go....I CAN'T) but overall it hit exactly my favorite themes with my favorite sort of main character. also loved all the side characters!

And I'm annoyed cuz I suggested it to my friend why loves boarding school type books and she didn't like it. She said the main character didn't make any sense and she can't figure out her logic... Bro she's a teenage girl going through some major trauma after having had other trauma happen to her earlier in life, she's an unreliable narrator! She's a smart, capable, talented girl but ultimately still a traumatized and honestly hilariously dramatic teenager!

Extra annoyed cuz this is exactly my favorite sort of protagonist. The one that always has shit piled on them and yet chooses to do good anyway. Fine. Whatever. Friends can have different opinions if they want. Even if they are wrong.

Got back from Utah yesterday! It was a pretty awful trip. I was very overstimulated, hadn’t slept for 27 hours, and 500 days of summer was taken off GoGo inflight movies. Anyways, i spent the five hour flight crying into my neck pillow. I am much happier now and cant wait for my first day back at school and for my eye appointment later! Yay for new glasses!!
