That was putting it lightly. Adrik saw things they didn't want to see... but it wasn't like they could ignore it. There's a moment of hesitance before they finally speak up.

"AION... said sorry to Akito and I over the deaths of our friends. It was fucked. I can also confirm AION told us nobody entered the workshop the day of the murder, so we can probably gloss over that for now.

I guess we should go over what else we found, especially if the new floors are important to the case. We know the killer took a curtain from the stage, so that's probably where we should start.

There were a few weird things here. Obviously, one of the curtains was completely missing. We all know where that turned up. But we should probably look at the other items in the room, whether they relate to the murder or not.

There was a lab coat on a coat hanger with four notes inside. Inside the pockets were notes in that stupid cipher. Akito translated it while I checked the rest of the stage out.

They turn on their tablet, scrolling to photos that they took of the translations. They give them a quick read over once more before summarizing the contents.

"First message revealed that the laptop was purposely left out that one time, and we were meant to find it.  The second message mentioned purposely leaving clues that HPGB was involved, and that they expected someone to report this information out. The third was about seeing what was sent out and making sure we thought we weren't supposed to have the laptop. And the last was about us cracking the cipher.

Basically, the laptop was a trap to get someone to send information out. The laptop was purposely planted for somebody to send information out. They also had no worries about us sending information out to the public, even if it risked us trying to get help. It's cocky. It's bold. It means they think they're in full control."

Adrik usually could respect such boldness. That boldness is what carried them through their life, through life, false death, and then life once again. Except, they think the hosts are cowards. They don't find that kind of boldness rewarding to anyone. It's the worst kind of self-serving.

"The only other interesting thing in the stage was a piece of paper I found in a box backstage. That one talked more about the Kaleidoscope Project- that's the official name of this. I got it from the library awhile back. It was talking about the development of the eight siblings, and the "errors" they each had. You know, like Calluna's purple eye. It was also made shortly after the birth of Erick Weiss, who is the youngest. That means the numbers aren't indicative of any sort of age order, but something else.

The beginning also says that part of this experiment is to offer designer genetic services to some sort of clientele. There wasn't much else beyond a mention."

Adrik Antonov would be one to understand the pursuit of perfection- at least, in the eyes of beauty. That's why there's a delightful mockery in their eyes as they look at the others hosts. They think it's much easier to change after you're born, but what do they know?

"There's a lot of information about Az-8 spread throughout the floor, so it's probably smart to start piecing together the story of Az-8... 

I guess it's time I share that theory I mentioned earlier:

I think Az-8 is Erisu. I've thought this for awhile. I know I'm not the only person with that theory."

Their eyes flicker to multiple people in the room. Flicker, flit, flit, almost everyone gets a quick glance from them. They speak with conviction, and they finally get out of their strange hunched position to learn forward.

"I can get into it, but I think it's best we go over everything else we learned about Az-8 first. If I've learned anything, it's to not rush into things without considering all the possibilities."

So I got extremely bored last night and made this. I know I haven’t made new content in a week and a half so I figured I’d show off my musical knowledge. This is all I could before the extra notes that I added via pitch adjustment started to sound weird. Sorry it’s so short! :’(

So how are you guys using your chain skill-0-matic?

I haven’t played much with it yet on my cleric but I will say this rotation (with Retribution Lightning socketed) was very handy in pvp.  I was running from a zerg and was able to kill a sin without having to break my stride.  just kept hitting 1 and he died chasing me.  It was glorious.  10/10 recommend this skill chain lol
