just my two cents (i like alex a lot and want pecco to win the championship cause i don’t much care for jmartin, as an aside), but whilst alex could and should have looked behind to see where pecco was coming from, pecco had no business blasting around the outside of alex and hoping he gets out ahead which would give him right of way except that he left alex no choice but to either run into the gravel or just back down. and as i said alex should have checked better but it’s such a split second thing that i understand why he couldn’t at the moment, and why he didn’t hit da breaks, if u will. idk this isn’t the first time pecco has pulled this this season either so it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. but still i’d call it a racing incident more than anything.

i will say i didn’t love that he implied it was intentional.. but it’s one of the rare moments where his #crazy has jumped out so i don’t mind it too much. i’ve always wanted him to show more personality and be messy lol it’s a champion thing!!!

Yellow is the color that made you take your first look at Gaz. Since being on the task force, neither of you had spoken much aside from while on missions and in passing, but during the night when the alarm had gone off from a storm and he stumbled out into the hallway in Yellow boxers, you couldn't help but smile. You teased him for months after that since you had been the only one to see him before he retreated into his room and slipped some sweatpants on after hearing you snickering.

Yellow is the color you slipped up and said looked best on him, which made him raise his eyebrows at you. Watching you stumble over your words made him realize you had a crush on him. Your teasing stopped when he begun teasing you back about how you liked seeing him in those yellow boxers. The task force watched the both of you go back and fourth for weeks before Johnny yelled at the both of you to "Get a room!" Neither of you could hide your flushed faces.

Yellow is the color of a knitted comforter his mum had made him and sent him while he was on deployment. He had written her a letter about how the beds were uncomfortable and received it in the mail not too long after. He didn't mean to really, the kiss had just gotten too heated and he pushed you back onto his bed before he even really realized what he was doing to you. He'd make a mental apology to his mum and the blanket later when he was finished. He couldn't deny it, the way your hair sprawled out over his bed had his heart thumping in his chest, making him realize he wanted this to be more than a fling.

Yellow makes you think of him while he's out. You miss him but know that you can't change everything. You knew the risks you were taking on base. You both knew there were no condoms on base, at least not that one anyways. So you cuddled up to that knitted blanket his mum had made him, pregnant and needy. Upset since he couldn't be there. But he would be home soon enough. He missed you a lot, all of the task force could see that he was empty without you. Laughing about how much he'd changed. From a hard headed Sergeant to a soft lover all because of you and those damn yellow boxers.

Yellow is the color of roses he gives you on your twenty year anniversary. Johnny was throwing the both of you a massive party and all of the old task force would be there with their families. You couldn't help but laugh at the roses. "You're still so sweet, Kyle." You smile. "Maybe, but you're still amazingly beautiful. Besides, yellow is kind of our color." He shrugs. "True." You giggle. "Come on, we have to make it to the football game before the party, we promised we'd go." He laughs. "Yeah, as if I'd miss my grandsons first ball game." You roll your eyes. Hearing him laugh. "Watch the attitude Mrs. Garrick." He laughs. "Make me." You cross your arms. He freezes up, spinning around. He looks at his watch. "I guess we got half an hour." He shrugs, making his way toward you, lifting you up and walking up the stairs with you in his arms, hearing you giggle as he starts to attack your neck with his lips. 20 years felt like 20 minutes with him.

I have a lot of favorite shows and games, but my main favorites... I really like splatoon, minecraft, acnh, subnautica, fnf, rhythm heaven, botw, totk and undertale (big au fan) a lot for games but I also play a ton more, and for shows, I'm in a ton of different fandoms, tbh. Gravity falls, the owl house, steven universe, etc :D I could pull up my big list of fandoms if you'd like, but that's the first ones on the top of my head! What games and shows and such do you like?

Just some thoughts from Old Point Comfort

NEAR OLD POINT COMFORT, HAMPTON, VA: One of a number of small communities in the Hampton Roads region just outside Norfolk to become the City of Hampton sometime in the early 1960's, about the time yours truly made his television debut, Old Point Comfort seems to have one of those interesting sort of names about it ... and makes you wonder about its origins. Even if it requires crossing Hampton Roads via the Hampton Roads Bridge/Tunnel (alias I-64) to so reach.

Yet yours truly, as much as Huckleberry Hound, something of a compadre in these journeys of late, got to thinking in the laziness of a mid-spring morning segueing into the afternoon about the glory days of the Old Bay Line steamers (1840-1962) arriving in the early morning at Norfolk after an overnight run across Chesapeake Bay from Baltimore ... or just leaving Norfolk in the evening heading to a morning arrival in Baltimore. Pretty wistful, you might say, to little ol' Huck.

"Ahhhh yes ... just to sit on a deck chair on one of those Old Bay Line steamers heading from Baltimore to Norfolk ... especially after something of a dinner of the choicest local specialties--fresh oysters, terrapin stew, roast turkey, steamed blue crab ... kind of makes me hungry to be so yearning...."

"I couldn't concur with you more," replied I.

Whereupon Top Cat called us up from his mobile phone unto ours. It may not have been a treasure-seeking assignment for the Jolly Rodger, since repurposed to serve Peter Potamus' Magic Divers, but to have such come "out of the blue," and three hours behind us--

"Welllll, hello Snagglepuss, you old charmer!" was how TC started things along. "How goes it there on the road?"

"I certainly have to admit, speaking from Old Point Comfort--"

"Obviously unrelated to Southern Comfort" was how TC rejoindered that remark, to which I replied "It's just outside Norfolk," for which TC quickly apologised for the humourous misunderstanding. "But at any rate, I understand you paid homage to a certain photograph of one O. Winston Link out Luray way--"

"Correct, TC ... and if I may say so, for some reason or another, the thought came across my mind of maybe having one of our Character Convocations in some small-town July 4th celebration."

"Now THAT would have to be an interesting prospect, especially where the boys can get some meet-and-greet time, yours truly included, no doubt!"

"You still recall the July 4th parade in Bristol, Rhode Island a few years back?"

"Now that you bring that up--"

I handed the phone to Huck, who responded, "Now we were thinking of hosting such somewhere in the Midwest, somewhere a little on the Middle American side."

"Without, I hope, tasteless propaganda overtures as could play--"

"After all, TC, we Funtastics can't help but be the sort to show warmth and good feelings. Especially when we have our Character Convocations, replete with plenty of meet-and-greet opportunities ensuing as much as some convocative time among us...."

(You can imagine how the conversation ensued, but I don't think you'd want to hear further, as such would be unlikely to interest you, the average Old Hanna-Barberian.)

SIGHHHHHH today was certainly a day I guess. like it started off great…? I got sudden surge of wanting to improve and it was alright. liked the few figure stuff I did in the beginning…

—it started off STROVG!!! like look my first page of figures and the legs.,,. way better than I usually draw it. cuz I was paying special attention to them and was proud of it.,,

—I lol also did try to lmaooo do rib cage studies but gave up after a bit and the bit of the guy torso in the page was me following YouTube video. thee one I said that I found and was excited to follow in the future since it’s what I was looking for and welllll. I think I jumped the gun there. I do like the way they drew ribcage and the way their method of drawing felt like it was 3D but idk how to explain it when I followed it but like…? yeah idk how to explain but I do think I got something from it I guess.

—I also tried hands too but yeahhh my god hands r just too much. 😔 I need to practice them…….

—-and ehhhh the second page idk what happened but it felt like it wasn’t going well again but I did like the lil character interaction figures I did though so after a bit just gave up on that.

—-juv time!!!!!!!!! I wanted to draw her and so I did and that doodles of her face really and I do like how some of these turned out and I was just also seeing diff brushes and stuff…

—AND SO I WENT TO DRAW HER…. picked a ref that I thought would be perfect pose for her and that’s when things started to fall apart…. 😐

—I didn’t like it at all 😭😭😭like I just didn’t now what it was??? yeah I knew the pose was iffy but I think it had to do with her face or whatever and well as you can see I went back later to redraw it and lol I think I butchered the pose a bit again but anyways I think I got the face a little better? Since I kind of like it better but ehhhh still wasn’t satisfied also. I wasn’t sure as to what outfit to put her in either but just remembered this one cover where she wore that kind of outfit or similar from what I remember and just put her in that….

-anyways it did really bother me how i just couldn’t get her right so i did some more practices focusing on that… i was cooking something at the time and so ahaha i didn’t want to bring my iPad down and lol as you can see on the paper there’s stains of oil fjjfjfjfk. and honestly?! I don’t think im satisfied with this session at all… I mean some of them turned out great but ahhhh so annoyed I can’t reproduce it. i also tried changing her nose a bit here n there and mmmmh don’t know if I like it.

—well after that I just wanted to draw her to see if I got it and just to draw. and welllll. I certainly need to work on sittibg poses cuz wtf this was hard also ahaha I wanted to adjust the pose of ref so she’s leaning on her hand and lollll that was hard like I had a feeling of knowing what I was doing wrong but it was somehow hard to get it down?! I even in the end just took a pic of myself in the pose and tried to doodle it in but ahhhh still haven’t got the pose right but at least I think…? I got the gist of it. one big issue was I think the way her legs was that way that’s why it didn’t feel like she was leaning on her hand…. and I do kinda like how the top initial one turned out even if her pose doesn’t make sense. also man I really shouldn’t use this pencil for sketching in the lines… of pose… yeah I realised that a part of why I didn’t feel like I wasn’t getting her right is cuz I wasn’t using this brush. idk what it is but the roughness of it just seems perfect for her but problem is I can’t use it while doing poses since I have tendency to just scribble or to work over my lines and it’s a bad habit that I don’t like since it makes things harder, I feel like but also cba to go to the other brush… since I was just already using this one lol

—freaking heck…. This one…. alright man the pose the one that freaking drained me of everything ahahahah….. alright…. so I wanted to draw more and found this ref that I changed a bit… and my GOD was the hands so freaking hard to get. just look at my struggle below 💀

—honestly it’s a miracle that i managed that turned out actually good…?! im so surprised tbh that the end result wasn’t so bad… but also lololol i think i did have general idea for what the pose was meant to convey but lmao I didn’t do it in a way at all that conveyed it properly and it just doesn’t make sense now lololol. and man I do feel like not using that pencil brush here would have helped a lot more. also im proud of myself too, the way that yeah it was a struggle and annoying but it… didn’t feel so frustrating to point of quitting? more like wow after this I don’t want to do art for another 100 years. im. TIRED

—i mean yeah also I was sooo disspirited. like I thought I was lil better at this ahhhh. I feel like also I was getting lazy at drawing out structure for pelvis which is dangerous habit to fall on since it’s helps to reinforce what’s that and how the legs and whatever work… I think that’s what happened with my arms like I had general idea of what happens with arms/shoulders but because I just drew it out like whatever. yeahhhh things started to fall apart since I didn’t reinforce shit.

—and well yeah. after that I did draw in another juv but ahahah I was so exhausted by this point I just didn’t want to finish it or whatever and gave up on it lololol. exhausted!!!!

—I didn’t think that I would be doing any more art but I should know myself by now and yeah I did some general figure studies. but wow my heart wasn’t in it. also man…… the arms…… 😔😔😔

It stung, and left you feeling confused but you’d grown to accept it. Not everyone in your life was meant to stick around but you’d always thought Mason would be the exception. That was until you heard his unmistakable laughter in the living room. The sound making your blood turn cold and for a second you wondered if you were just hearing things, but as you rounded the corner to double check you spotted him right away. You weren’t prepared to see him, the shock of him actually being here overwhelmed you and as much as you had told yourself things were done you knew there was still a part of you that yearned to still be his friend. To forget everything that had happened over the last year and accept him back with open arms but your pride wouldn’t let you. GIRL, YOU NEED AND WANT HIM IN YOUR LIFE CAUSE YOU LOVE HIMM

The first thing you saw when you left the bathroom was Mason's big brown eyes again. This time he was standing on his own directly across from the door and you knew he’d been waiting for you. You paid him no attention though, your eyes falling to the floor as you walked away and back down the hall to the stairs but you should have expected him not to let you go so easily. Feeling his fingers wrap around your wrist as he pulled you to a stop and gently turned you to face him. OMG HERE HE ISSSS AHHHH HE FOLLOWED HER, GOOD BOY🤭😌

‘I’m sorry’ he whispered after a few seconds of silence. The sound of his voice in the flesh again making you shiver but you keep your eyes down as you knew they were full of tears again. ‘Y/n? Please. Please, I’m so sorry’ OH BABY BOY

You didn’t respond, the tears now freely flowing down your face and even though he’d let go of you now, you were frozen. Your hands coming up to hide your face as you sobbed into them but he was quick to wrap you up in his embrace like nothing had happened. The pair of you fitting together like missing puzzle pieces as he tried to comfort you the best he could but soon enough he was pulling you in the direction of your room to try and avoid anyone seeing you so upset. UGH HE HUGGED HER, THEY ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER😭

You followed him over to your bed. Your hand in his the whole time and he sat down on the edge before manoeuvring you onto his lap. Not really aware of your surroundings as your eyes were full of tears but once you were seated he pulled you into a hug again. Holding you close to his body as he slightly swayed you from side to side but you just hid your face in your hands again as you lent into him. Still too upset to even look at him but your mouth was now starting to run away with you. LOOK AT THEMMMM MY HEART MIGHT COMBUST

‘You didn’t even let me say goodbye’ you hiccuped through your sobs. Feeling him pull you in even tighter as you wiped your eyes repeatedly. ‘I get you were hurt but you took that from me’ OH GIRLY

‘I know, love. I know I didn’t and I’m the biggest idiot in the world’ he told you quietly. ‘Why do you think I came here tonight? I wanna try and make it up to you. To apologise and explain myself’ GOOD JOB BABY BOYYY

‘I didn’t I promise, I’ve thought about you every day, yeah?’ He told you sincerely, moving the pair of you so that you could face each other a little better but your eyes were still full of tears and you couldn’t make him out very well. You wanted to hear his explanation though so you waited for him to continue whilst you quietened your sobs and thankfully he took the hint and carried on. MY HEART CAN’T TAKE THIS😭😭

‘That last conversation we had, I was crushed. And it’s not your fault at all yeah, I told myself you’d probably shoot me down but there was this tiny part of me that thought you might feel the same. And it’s okay that you don’t, you’re probably right as it wouldn’t have worked but I was so embarrassed that you knew I liked you and the fact nothing would happen felt shit so I told myself just to adjust to life out there for a bit and then I’d be fine to talk to you again’ he told you quietly and it hit you once again how upset he was that you’d didn’t have the same feelings he did. OH MY POOR BABY WAS HEARTBROKEN

‘The first few months weren’t great and I needed you but I held back. Gave you your space and me mine, you know? but as time went on I just kept talking myself out of it. Said that you hadn’t tried with me either so I should just leave it a little longer but then it got to the point it was too long and I was too embarrassed to text you cause I figured you must hate me now’ HE IS A BIT SILLY, ISN’T HE?😕

‘I know’ he sighed, his voice full of tears now himself and hearing him upset hurt more than anything else you’d been feeling for the last year. ‘I’m so sorry, y/n. I really am. I don’t know if it makes any difference or if there’s anyway we can go back to being friends but I’m here now and I want to make things right with you’ he told you and you could tell he was ready to have a cry himself. The sound of his voice making your tummy churn and when you built up the courage to look at him the tears were sliding down his cheeks. ‘You’ve got me through some of my worst days, and when I was struggling out there I can’t tell you how many times I went to message you as well. I tried to push it all aside but I was afraid you’d still think I was pathetic-‘ OMG MY HEART IS BREAKING FOR THEM BOTH

‘Hey, no’ you interrupted, reaching you to touch his arm that was settled on your lap and the tiny bit of contact made Mason's eyes light up. ‘You’ve never been pathetic, Mase. I know that conversation didn’t go how you wanted but I never once thought you were pathetic’ GOOD JOB Y/N, PROUD OF YOU FOR SAYING THIS😌

‘I’ve really missed you’ he pouted, his bottom lip wobbling as his eyes continued to overflow and as much as you wanted to tell him you missed him back you held off. ‘It’s all my fault, I know that, but I’ve missed hearing about your day and telling you about mine. I’ve missed laughing until we’re crying and feeling sick, I just miss you. Like I don’t care about any of that stuff now I just want my friend back’ he hiccuped and your heart hurt for the broken boy in front of you. ‘If you need more time I can give it to you. I know things won't be the same and we’ll have to work on stuff but I’ll do anything for you’  AHHHHH I AM SCREAMINGGG LOOK AT HIMMMM THEY ARE PROBABLY BACKKK

‘If it was anyone else, you know I’d say no’ you told him, watching the hope fill his eyes as he knew what was coming next. ‘But I’ve been miserable without you Mase’ YAYYYYYY

‘Where’s your red lipstick?’ He asked quizzically and you should have known this comment was coming sooner or later. I WON’T COMMENT ON THIS CAUSE I DON’T WANT TO SPOILER IT,, BUT I AM MAD🤐🤐🤐

‘Oh um, I’ve still got it, I’ve just been trying something new for a while’ you smiled. ‘The red’s a lot, you know?’ YEAH….A LOT, THIS IS OW THY CALL IT NOW?

‘Of course I do, you I know I’ll take you whatever way you come but I never thought in a million years you’d willingly stop wearing it’ WE ALL THOUGHT IT

‘You go, I’ll come in a sec. I just need to sort my face out’ you laughed, realising you probably looked like a hot mess but he just smiled at you and touched your arm before turning to leave. ‘Mase?’ You called quietly, but he stopped in his tracks and turned to you with his eyebrows raised. ‘Can I get one more hug? I really did miss you’ you whispered and you watched his face soften immediately before wrapping you up in his arms again. Lifting you off the floor so he could sway you from side to side but your giggles made him pop you back on the floor. SHE ASKED HIM ONE MORE HUGG, SHE MISSED HIM

‘Mason you must come and meet Jack’ your mum told him, linking her arm through his as she led him through the dining room and he just went with it. HOLY SHIT THERE WE GO😫😒🙃

Mason could tell what kind of guy Jack was immediately. Taller than him by a good few inches, short jet black hair and arms as big as Mason's head. He had no idea who he was though and guessed he was part of the family or a friend but when Jack gave him a once over as your mum introduced Mason to him there was something about him that felt off. OMG I LOVE HOW YOU DESCRIBED HIM THE WAY I TOLD YOU I SAW HIM🤭😂

Mason could see the uncomfortable look on your face but you took Jack's hand and let him pull you into his side and press a kiss to your head. The action making his skin prickle uncomfortably and he had to look away to process what he was seeing before looking back up and avoiding your eyes. UGH, NOW STARTS THE ELISA AGAINST Y/N WAR, OFFICIALLY, SEE YOU IN CAPTER 6 FOR THE PEACEMAKING BETWEEN US🤝🏻🤝🏻

‘You alright, babe? Was just saying to Mason I thought you were avoiding me’ Jack laughed, wrapping his arm around your waist and your heart broke at the look on Mason's face. This isn’t how you wanted him to find that you had a boyfriend but unfortunately you were stuck in between both of them now unsure of what to say or do. I MIGHT THROW UP

Mason didn’t want to be here, stuck talking to this guy who was holding you in a way he could only dream of but it was the fact he was there in the first place annoyed him more than anything. He came here to talk to you, to make amends with you but now everything was up in the air. He knew he owed you this, that he'd been a crappy friend and he owed it to you to be the best friend he possibly could in this moment but he was overwhelmed and needed a way out. OH MY LITTLE BOY, I PROMISE YOU IT’LL GET BETTER, YOU’LL BE ALRIGHT😌

Mason felt broken. A small part of him hoped that when he came back there would be a way for you to work things out and be together. That you’d had a chance to think things over and realise you were in love with him too but now all his dreams were dashed. Yes he’d told you it was fine being friends and he’d do what you wanted but he’d also wanted you to miss him. To realise that you could feel the same and that you could make it work but now there was no chance. OMG? HE HOPED THAT SHE WAS GOING TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE? MY HEART BROKE IN MILLION PIECES😭

Jack wasn’t the guy he thought you’d go for and he made Mason feel more insecure than he ever had. He could tell he was a few years older and quite clearly able to give you things that Mason couldn’t but the reality that you’d slipped through his fingers completely was more than he could take. OMG MASON, YOU CAN GIVE HER ALL SHE NEEDS AND DESERVES, SHE IS JUST STUPID AND BLIND

He knew what he had to do though, he had to be what he hadn’t been for the last year and be the bestest friend he could be so he psyched himself up and went back to find you so he could prove himself to you again. OH BABY, I AM PROUD OF YOU

‘You look hot as fuck babe’ Jack told you, holding you out at arms length so he could look you up and down and even though he was being silly, it made Mason feel awkward how Jack seemed to be dangling you in his face without your knowledge. BLEAH, JACK IS DISGUSTING😫

‘Not the ones I want though’ he laughed under his breath, just loud enough for you to hear before clearing his throat and nodding to the side. ‘I’m just gonna use the loo I won’t be long’ CAUSE HE WANTS ONE HE CAN’T HAVE AT THE MOMENT

‘Hey, I could never’ he whispered into your hair and you just held him tighter. ‘We may have lost our way a bit and I know it’s my fault but seeing you today, I never wanna go that long without you again okay? You're my best friend, y/n and I’ll always be happy for you no matter what you decide, okay?’AHHHHH HE IS SO CARINGGG, SHE DOESN’T DESERVE HIS HEART😒

Jack had to leave at around 10, needing to get a late train so he could be home for a family trip the next day and you walked him to the door so you could share a private goodbye but as soon as he left you felt yourself pulled in Mason's direction. THANK GOD HE LEFT🎉🎉🎉
