What is your physical and digital workspace like when you’re working on your story?

LOL it really depends on what stage I'm in of the process - My storyboarding space is at home, as comfortable as I can be, a beer and some food at the ready and pure silence. The cats have to be freshly fed, otherwise I'll be harassed and lose my headspace entirely LOL. I usually work on my story boards digitally, just at a very small scale, with my script/outline on my computer and working on my ipad! The double screen helps a LOT, although i would just print out the script if I had access to a printer, haha. When I'm working on the actual page itself, it's a very different story. I usually just try and work on it in tiny little batches during the day when I'm stuck at home, and usually work around the animals as best i can, lmao. Truthfully, I really prefer to be in a coffee shop when I'm working on finishing pages, it makes me so much more productive than i am in this house with so many things to take care of right in front of me, but, obviously, that's a bit difficult to do these days. ;; I usually reserve food and drink until after I pass a milestone in inking/sketching to help motivate me to keep going for as much as I can before taking a break, and I need some kind of music or video playing in the background to keep myself from being absolutely bored out of my mind. My shading process, since it's in black and white, is very easy and i can finish it in one setting, easy, no matter what I'm working with. I also work digitally for my pages, of course, although I don't need more than my ipad and clip studio for it!

I work almost entirely in the corner of my IKEA couch at home I used to work at a proper desk with a Cintiq, but when I switched to Procreate on an iPad, I migrated to the couch and surrounded myself with a nest of clothes and blankets and books and... here I am, bein' cozy. With terrible posture But when I was between jobs last year, I did rent a little coworking space down the street so I could get out of my pajamas and go get comic stuff done there. It was a godsend. I like drawing at my favorite coffee shop every so often too, but I tend to hide my work while I draw, and there, everyone can look over my shoulder The coworking space had a tall artist desk that was rarely used, so I often grabbed that one. Not cheap, but to stave off cabin fever, heck yes, worth it.

Ahhh I've been really thinking about getting a studio space one of these days I really shouldn't rn, with my finances as they are, but I could REALLY make use of one recently

I loved the space I used last year. They recently had to close for... current-event reasons... and are going to reopen with all sorts of plexiglass barriers between the desks I feel so bad for them. Good studio spaces are wonderful, I would support them again if I ever was out of a job!

My old workspace was in the basement of my home in canada and it was always perpetually freezing even in the summer and i was frequently visited by spiders so my current workspace is a huge improvement in that regard. I do miss my old ergonomic desk chair though. I'm definitely not the kind of person who can draw in bed or on the couch. I need to be in workmode and having a designated space just for that is necessary for me to get in the right headspace for that.

my workspace rn is just my desk with my laptop and my drawing tablet. my laptop is stacked on top of a pile of books so i can see the screen (otherwise my tablet blocks my line of sight). it's kinda simple

Depends. I have a Cintiq Mobile Studio, so I can draw pretty much every where and sometimes in the oddest position, but most of the time I am on my desk with the cintiq hooked up to a second monitor so I don't have to look down so much.(edited)

Holmeaa - working on WAYFINDERS

For Wayfinders: Thumbnails are somewhere cozy and the only physical work. Me and Q sit and plan them out together. The rest of wayfinders are made on Photoshop, and flat colors in clip paint studio. In the world I would love a nice studio place in an office with others. During corentine I have been working from home, and I am not that good at it, being quite the extrovert. Before corentine I was in a artist residency where I worked on Wayfinders which had a workstation and all the programs we could need. It is so nice and me and Q are going to return there when it opens up again!

my current space is uh.... a bit better than my last one. I used to work on an old writers desk for a decade and I did most of my comic work sitting there cramped up with my desktop taking most of the space. Now I have an L shaped desk where I have my desktop on the shorter end. The longer end it's my pen, pencils, and watercolor stuff. my display tablet occupy the space at times so switching from digital and traditional without worrying about setup hassle is a lot better than what I dealt with before lol.

I'm glad the days I had to curl up and draw with no privacy are long gone now

I’ve got a little drafting table where I draw all my comic pages. I’m messy with my pens so they’re kind of strewn about until I start to lose them. Then I put them back. I’m not particularly neat. I spend most of the comic process off the computer, so most of my digital work is just on an iPad where I can sit anywhere. I try to keep good lighting around my drafting table and there’s always loose eraser shavings all over.

My desk is really sloppy and covered in all kinds of junk. I have a harmonica, a ball of yarn, a bunch of ink bottles, etc on my desk. I have my sketchbook under my tablet and usually a notebook somewhere for writing. My tablet sits to the right of my laptop (on top of sketchbook) while I'm not using it and when I'm using it it goes over my computer keyboard. I sometimes have a glass of water or some food sitting to the lefthand side

My workspace is a black table with a white, yellow, blue and green tablecloth with 3 black chairs. It's next to the kitchen. On it, is my laptop and the left side is my clipboard, 3 blue folders full of writing. Then above it, is 3 sketchbooks and another blue folder from a class that I took in community college.

I have one long desk at almost three meters. On the left side is all my coffee and tea supplies, in the middle is my work space and on the right is my dining table xD I get everything done from there, despite having a mobilestudio so I COULD sit anywhere and work, lol. It's a blessing during holiday seasons to be able to bring it everywhere, but at some I like my designated working space. Although I am moving in a few weeks, so who knows what my new workspace will be

My workspace is a big, broken corner desk I managed to lug out of an old apartment when it was gonna be trashed. Before then, I'd just draw in bed. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure the folding chair I sit at is a similar affair. It's got a Dollar General throw pillow on it so I can at least say I'm trying to save my back. The top of the desk is a mess of mostly old bottles and cans, pencils, incense ash, and my old tarot deck. I love this setup dearly. This is the first time I've ever had my own desk space, much less a space I can decorate or leave as messy as I want. Got my own art up on the walls with sticky tack and all! Also the cat's scratching post is directly behind me, because we've learned the cat won't use it unless it's as in the way as possible. What can ya do, lol.

I got spoiled with an adjustable desk. It is six feet long, and has a whiteboard top for noodling with dry erase markers

my main computer is set up on an adjustable stand so it floats over the desk, and then I have my cintiq, which we tried to mount on a similar stand but then it was just too heavy

I keep my dice collection nearby because fidgeting helps think things through sometimes

and rolling to make odd decisions never hurts

lately during the quarantine I've been sharing the office with my spouse so we've had to establish rules over when it's okay to bug each other(edited)

oh yeah and we also have a whiteboard installed in the office, and it rules!(edited)

Mine is pretty simple: I have a laptop that's long stopped being portable and is now mostly just sitting at my desk at all times and a 19 inch Ugee as my display. I usually keep a lot of stuff on top of my desk, but it's mostly just a mess because I have been using it for work too for a while now

I suppose I'll talk about my setup too :) My main setup is where I do digital art. I share an office with my SO, so we both have workspaces on opposite walls from each other. I work on a corner desk that holds my beefy computer, two monitors, and a Huion Kamvas GT-191. That's where I draw my comic and pretty much everything else done digitally. Ngl, it's a mess right now. I have comic notes and location floor plans in sketchbooks and DnD character sheets spread out all over the surface, and random pens and sticky notes. In the corner of the room, we have a nice large-format printer where I produce prints for conventions. I actually sketch my pages on an iPad pro in Procreate, so during the sketch phase, sometimes I'll just bundle up on my couch and do it, or before quarantine, sometimes I'd sketch on the go. My other workspace (which hasn't gotten much love as of late tbh) is a drafting table in the corner of our living room. I keep a tabletop easel on it and my Copic markers, as well as whatever I'm working on at the moment. (RN it's some ink washes.) The drawers hold all my ink, pencils, erasers, etc. Next to the drafting table is where I keep all my large charcoal, graphite, and oil pastel drawings (mostly school projects), and my large paintings. Other than that, I have a nifty little cart where I keep painting supplies :) I will say, this setup is by far an enormous improvement from my previous setups.

She really only ever gets pissy (or used to! they’re starting to get along better !!!) at Kiri when she feels jealous for whatever reason, and that doesn’t happen as often as it seems through my doodles, so it’s not like she’s always antagonistic towards him! Mostly she just ignores him, so no, it doesn’t happen often at all! And she’s never gone further than messing his hair up or tugging a bit at his clothes, since she doesn’t have the strength to move Kiri all that much haha the only reason she managed to have him fall the first time was because he was balancing already, but generally Kiri weighs way too much for her to move him around or pull at the red stuff he’s wearing enough for him to notice it all that much

anyway, Baku never reprimended her for it - not more than he did in the first comic I posted with them, at least, specifically because the damage she can make is so minor that Kiri and Baku barely consider it something to tell her off for... if she were ever to act that way towards someone she might actually hurt (say, a kid her own age) then Baku might reprimend her more seriously, but as long as she’s just tugging at Kiri’s clothes they don’t see it as anything worth fighting her over :D

What a good question you got there!! She has control over everything that has a color that falls in the red wavelength of the visible spectrum - that does include certain tones of pink and certain tones of orange, but there’s a point where orange gets too yellow or pink gets too white that her powers stop working. As long as the red in the color is more than any other hue, though, her powers work!

Once they start getting along better Akane and Kiri actually start helping each other with their hair! They’re both very particular about it so they understand each other as far as that topic goes haha

She hasn’t spent much time with Jirou yet so right now she’s mostly meh about her (though right now she only actually likes Bakugou, and she’s warming up to Kiri, but that’s about it). She doesn’t mind Mitsuki, but she hasn’t spent too long with her either! She yells a bit too much at her dad tho, which Akane isn’t particularly fond of (protective bean that she is, she doesn’t get that that’s just their way of communicating just yet), so out of her grandparents she prefers Masaru, after all~

A/N: I’m sorry this took so long but I am usually working on mobile and there are much more limits than on desktop so yeahh THERE’S A SECOND PART WITH MUCH MORE FLUFF!!!!!! -KP! Enjoy reading!

Music app. Playlist. Shuffle. ... Piano Sonata. A smile made its way onto your lips after hearing the first tunes. You’ve missed it a lot. The classical music immediately brought out all the emotions hidden deep inside you. You closed your eyes and focused on the music. Since a young teenager you loved hearing the instruments so raw. Especially the piano. The harmony of every note, it was mesmerizing. The emotions that sprung with every second, the imaginary place that appeared in your mind, everything about it brought peace and chaos at the same time.

So for the rest of the morning you only played “Piano Sonata” by Beethoven while having breakfast and then later while cleaning the apartment a little bit.

You sat down with a huff after finishing cleaning, the beautiful piece still playing in the background which gave you the idea to go to a classical concert again soon. You opened your laptop, hands a little sweaty with excitement and started looking for some tickets. “Two or one? Hmmm” You mumbled to yourself and decided to get two tickets. After all it’s always more fun to go to a concert with company. After the tickets were bought, you stared jumping around like a child. Right then it hit you that you have to find someone that would enjoy accompanying you to the concert. Of course your first choice was one of the boys so you quickly made your way over to the dorms after texting Taeyong that you were on your way. ~ “Hello sweetheart!” Taeyong greeted you at the door with a hug after opening the door. You took your coat and shoes off and put your bag next to the body length mirror and then made your way to the living room where the noises were coming from. The tv was on and half of the NCT members where spread out on the sofas and the other half were probably in their rooms. You greeted all of them and were about to sit down on the sofa when Yukhei pulled you on to his lap which made you giggle. It was nothing unusual for you to sit on any of their laps. You knew each other for a few years now and were really close. You were really happy about having close friends like them and being able to be this comfortable with each other made you feel safe. “What got you all so smiley, girly?” Ten asked wiggling his eyebrows which brought you out of your thoughts and made you smile even more. Now all their eyes were directed at you, even Yukhei who moved you so he could see your face. “Well I got two tickets for an upcoming Beethoven concert!” You beamed and they giggled about your excitement. “That’s why I’m here actually. I bought two tickets for the concert because it’s always more fun to go with company and I wanted to ask if any of you would like to go with me? But I don’t want you guys to think you have to or anything! I want you to enjoy the concert too” you asked with your voice getting smaller towards the end of the sentence. “When is the concert?” “It’s in two weeks, on a Friday” You answered hopefully. “Ouw, Y/n well NCT127 will be in Japan next week and we will be there for a while but I would’ve loved to join you”, Sicheng said with a sad smile but you nodded understandingly. “Well I’m not really into classic music but if you don’t find anyone that will enjoy it I don’t really mind coming with you”, Yukhei said sweetly. “It’s ok! I don’t want you to come and be bored for so long”, you said and saw how he was actually glad. “Why don’t you ask the dreamies? They should be upstairs in Jaemin’s room probably gaming” Taeyong suggests which made you nod and go up to the room. Loud noises were coming from the room so you knocked on the door and suddenly it was quiet. After a little ‘yes’ you opened the door and peeked my head in and all the dreamies started being noisy again. “AHHHH NOONA WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?!!!!” Haechan screamed and stood up from his spot and pulled you into a tight hug which made you laugh. After everyone greeted you, you made yourself comfortable on the bed next to Jaemin and Renjun, who was on the other side of Jaemin. You watched the others play a video game together and cheered for the boys while laughing. Jisung won the round and started doing his victory dance while Mark was sulking. You all laughed and cheered for Jisung and also comforted Mark a little. And before another round started you sat up a little to talk with them about why you joined them today. “Ok guys I actually came here to ask something” all their eyes were on you again. “I know Haechan and Mark can’t because of their schedules but there’s this Beethoven concert in two weeks and I have two tickets for it and I need someone accompanying me because it’s always more fun with company so I was wondering if one of you would be interested” you said and waited for their answers when Jaemin started talking. “Well Renjun actually likes classic music so, Renjun?” we all looked towards Renjun who got a little flustered after being the center of attention suddenly. “I mean yes of course I do and I would love to accompany you, noona. It’s just I never went to one so I don’t know if I would be a good choice” he said shyly which made you smile. “It’s ok! There’s always a first time! I wouldn’t mind as long as you want to!” You said cheerful. “Ok in that case I would love to!” he said with a sweet smile that reached his eyes. ~ You got ready to sleep after arriving home when you got a text from Renjun. Renjunnie: Hey noona! I was thinking about the concert and what would be a proper outfit? Y/n: hey bubs! A tux would do the work! Renjunnie: Oh okay that sounds good! What will you be wearing if you don’t mind me asking🏻‍♂️ Y/n: of course I don’t mind! I will get a dress but I have no idea what I will get🤧 Renjunnie: ohh ok nice! Renjunnie: I need a tux so if you want we can maybe go shopping together, noona! Y/n: Gsjzhdjs that’d be great! But don’t you have a tux? Don’t get me wrong I love the idea of going to shop with you but don’t you have like lots of tuxes bc of the music shows? Renjunnie: oh no we don’t get to keep those tuxedos/suits! And bc I never needed one outside of the award shows I don’t have one😬 Y/n: ahhh ok! Then I’m really happy that you’ll get your first tux with me!!!! Y/n: okay then when do you think we can meet? Renjunnie: my schedule is pretty free lately so I’m not really busy! Would this Friday work for you? Y/n: yes! Sounds perfect! If you want we can get lunch first and make our way downtown after? Renjunnie: Sounds good to me, noona! Y/n: I’m looking forward to Friday then! I will be going to sleep now! I’m really sleepy. Y/n: so good night junnie! Renjunnie: same here! Night, noona You smiled at his text, he was always so sweet and caring something that made your heart feel warm. You started looking even more forward to Friday and to the concert! You fell asleep into a deep sleep with the concert and a brown eyed, smiley boy on your mind. ~ “Thank you for the meal, noona!” Renjun said while patting his tummy with a satisfied smile decorating his lips. “Of course, junnie! Nothing to thank for! I’m glad you enjoyed it!” You said with a smile on your lips too. You left the diner satisfied with your meal and went to your car. You started the car with downtown as your destination. The car ride there was really nice. The radio was on so you both jammed to the songs that were played and also talked about the color of the dress you were gonna get. You also decided to go to the mall that was downtown instead of walking around between streets. You parked you car into an empty space, close to the entrance and made our way inside. At the info table you looked where the stores are that sell a little more fancy clothing and after taking a pic of the table you started walking towards the escalator up to first floor. Renjun’s tux was definitely going to be easier to find because he wanted something simple so the men store was your first destination. “I think I want a plain black one” Renjun said while looking at himself in the mirror. He had a black tux on with thin grey stripes. He of course looked handsome in the tux but you still agreed with him. He looked at you and asked me what you were thinking, you nodded and told him that you agree with his decision. So he disappeared behind the changing room curtains and started changing into the other tux. Your heart skipped a beat after he left the changing room. “Yes, I think this one looks better. Do you think the size is right?” “I-I agree this one fits you better and the size looks good to me but if you don’t feel comfortable with something then you have to decide for yourself..” Renjun looked a little longer in the mirror and then nodded to himself. “No this one’s fine. I’m taking this one. But I also need some shoes” Renjun said and signed to people working in the store. After 20 min he found a pair of shoes that he liked and fit with his tux. You both were excited about the purchase so your smiles didn’t leave your faces. “Thank you for your honest opinion, noona. If I would’ve went to get a tux with one of the guys I would’ve been in here for another three hours and would’ve ended up not buying a tux” he said and made you both laugh. “Did you decide on the color you’re going to wear?” “Noppe. Not really I think I’ll just see what I find and choose something that I like” you said honestly and he nodded sweetly which made you smile. His caring, sweet nature made you always feel at ease, so it was confusing for you why your brands were sweaty. You always enjoyed hanging out with him, it was peaceful and fun but now it was also exiting. You checked your phone again for the store you wanted to go for the dress and after figuring out where it was, you again made your ways to the escalators. “Oh this dress looks really cute. What do you think, noona?” “It really is cute, Junnie but purple isn’t my color. I look weird in it” Renjun nodded understandingly and started looking for other dresses again. ~ “I think I will go try the dresses on now. I don’t think we have to look further. I have a good feeling with the dark green one” you said after another 30 min of looking for dresses. Renjun again nodded and followed you to the changing rooms and sat down on the comfy chair. You tried on the different dresses and Renjun told you honestly what he thought about them. He was really sweet about it but still honest. What you didn’t get to see was how he fanned his face with his face because of the blush that formed on his cheeks. At the end you couldn’t decide between the dark green dress and the red one. “Oh I got it, noona! You look great in both so you can get both of them!” Renjun said excited which made you laugh and blush at his compliment. “I still have to decide which one I’ll wear to the concert so even if I bought both I would need to choose. So I will only get one, I don’t need two dresses anyway. I don’t attend too many fancy events” you said and he nodded again diving into thoughts. “Ok if you can’t decide, noona and if you don’t mind I’ll just choose one. And I think you should go for the green one” he said and you smiled at him for making the decision. You quickly went to buy the dress. “Let’s get something to drink. My legs are exhausted and I’m thirsty” you said while leaving the store. ~ You stopped the car right before the dorms and turned towards Renjun who was already looking at you. “I had a really nice day, Junnie. Thank you for your help with the dresses. I’m looking really forward to wearing it to the concert” you said a smile not leaving your lips. “Same here, noona. Thank you for the meal and also for your help with the tux. I can’t wait to go to the concert either. We should definitely do something like today again” he said with shiny eyes, your eyes wandered to his lips for a second before you looked up at him with red cheeks and nodded to his offer. You shared a quick hug and then he left the car with his shopping bag. Huang Renjun was sweet, caring, cute, lovely and at the same time he was smart, sassy, and funny. You realized how much Renjun actually grew today. You realized how much taller he was when you hugged him, you realized his shoulders were broader which looked great in his black tux, you realized that his voice was much deeper when he said your name, you realized how his eyes lost a little of innocence which made him look more mature. You realized how this was the second night you were falling asleep with the thought of the brown eyed, smiley boy. ~ Over the next week you met up with the dreamies minus Hyuk and Mark bc they were promoting in Japan just like they planned, it was going well. The dreamies and you watched the stages and cheered for them from the screen and cheered also later when you were calling them. Then the week of the concert came and you got busy. Most of your ‘free’ time was spend on the assignments from uni and also the extra shifts you had at the café. From the little phone calls and texts you knew that the dreamies were enjoying their time which made you happy. On Thursday night you tried finishing all your assignments so you could enjoy the concert without worrying about work even if you had time over the weekend. ~ It was finally Friday, you didn’t have any classes today but you had to work at the café until 5pm. The concert was going to start at 7:30pm which meant that you have to go home, get ready, meet Renjun at 7pm in front of the concert building and all of that in 2h. It was a challenge. With the concert in your mind you worked through the day. You gained motivation and energy just thinking about tonight so you kept on smiling to the customers. “Hey Y/n! I’ll start my shift rn! Have fun tonight!!!” my coworker, Yuri, said which made you smile and after nodding at him you went to change. ~ After arriving home you immediately jumped into the shower. You decided to put your hair up in a neat bun with a few strands hanging down next to your cheeks. Your make up was simple besides your heavy eyes makeup. The eyeshadow matched with your dark green dress. The outfit was finished after you put on your black pumps, black clutch and a golden earrings, necklace and bracelet set of accessories. Looking in the mirror at the entrance, you liked seeing the simple but fancy outfit on yourself. Without properly realizing you imagined Renjun in his tux with his hair styled neatly standing next to you. How would it be to get ready together and leave your place with your hands intertwined. When you realized what you were thinking you immediately shook your head as if the thoughts would leave. A quick look at the time made you leave your place with fast steps towards your car. There was a slight traffic but you still made it to the building a few minutes before seven. You were standing near the entrance when you started feeling how cold the weather actually was. A shiver run down your spine. “Excuse me, Miss, don’t you want to go inside?” the security guard near the entrance said. “Oh, I’m waiting for someone” you said with a thankful smile on your colored lips. “It’s none of my business but I can see you’re cold from back here and you could wait inside where it’s much warmer, Miss” he said with a genuine smile on his face. You smiled back at him, nodded and after thanking him you went inside. Like he said it was much warmer and you already felt better with the warm atmosphere surrounding you. You quickly texted Renjun that you were waiting for him inside and not outside like you guys planned. While texting him you noticed that he was already 10 minutes late. A few people started taking their seats in the hall already so you checked your phone. 7:22, You decided to text Renjun again. Y/n: Renjun are you okay? Y/n: I really hope nothing bad happened! Y/n: if you can’t find me I’m already at the B section. Y/n: wait I’ll call you and I can describe it to you! You touched his icon and started calling him. The phone rang a few times but at the end it went to voicemail. There were only a few more people besides you. 7:27, You tried to call him one more time and after he didn’t pick it up a sigh left your lips. You turned off your phone put it into your clutch and took one of the tickets out to show it before entering the concert hall. You sat down to the right of an empty seat. ~ The music like always was beautiful. Hearing “Piano Sonata” live was so much more intense and raw than at home through the speakers. When your favorite part came you couldn’t help yourself and let a few tears run down your cheeks, probably ruining your make up. The elderly lady on your right side saw you and you shared her tissues while smiling at each other with tears in your eyes. At that moment you really wished Renjun would’ve been there. ~ You turned on your phone while you were in the elevator. There were a few calls from Jaemin which made you worry. Oh hey, long time no replies. And these are the first ones of this year. I have a hard time replying now. It’s not like I don’t have time - I’m doing okay, actually. I mean, I wouldn’t complain if there was less homework, but still. Free time exists. It’s just that I can’t bring myself to replying to either comments or messages...I replied to asks quite quickly though, which is something unusual for me. Usually that’s where I’m slowest. I don’t know, is this another weird anxiety thing? Like I know I can reply, but I just...don’t?

I wish I could say I defeated it irl as well...things got better (mainly because I just had to get used to it and grow a thicker skin) but I’m still an anxious trainwreck 99 % of the time :D It’s the same online.

Also, instead of actually starting a conversation with people, I’m always like “oh you know, if you feel like talking to me, just send me a message, I don’t bite” but the problem is I know there’s a lot of us like that here and I’m not the only one with this fear of communication so maybe I should be the one to find the courage once

Yeah, I love it! I mean, I don’t actually love it, there were some bad things happening, no freedom of speech and such, but for me, it’s an interesting era to learn about. I also think it’s important to know about these times because in a way, they’re still so similar to where we are now, we really should look back at them and try to not make the same mistakes...sadly, when I look at the situation in my country...sometimes it feels like people forget. Not just people like me who didn’t experience it and have only learned about it in History classes...feels like even people who have been there forget and it’s sad and frustrating and I wish I could do something about it. Okay rant over.

9. lost someone special: yes, all of my grandparents are dead. I've also lost pets, and i fear i may lose some of my friends due to the distance among us in this time of our lives

10. been depressed: i always wanna be careful over how to define depression. Like wat constitutes it... but yes, i think i have. Not sure, mind you, but yes, at the beginning of gr 7 i was really alone, i think i was bullied and i think i was depressed and going thru a really dark phase of my life back then. But then again, i have to say, i'm not sure.

11. gotten drunk and thrown up: hahaha nope. I'm looking forward to getting drunk tho. Im currently underage so im not allowed to drink dat much yet but yeah i wanna know my limits hehehe i hope im da kinda gurl who can handle her liquor but i have drank and i have to say it made me all loopy and weird and just like woke or high or something hahaha so yeah man im excited to get trashed on my 18th bday hahaha (hopefully i get to do this tho huhuhu)

Sooo im pretty lucky dat- oh sht w8 i dunno if it's dis year but oh w8 no, it was on my bday last year (dec 20) and da same friend said she was sorry cus apparently da bois make fun of me or something and she was sorry cus she laughed along too hahaha but i didnt mind cus i know im weird and i dont even know what dey say about me in da first place hahahaha. Ive thought about it based on wat sup losers said about change for da better and i dont rlly think of change as something dat happens quick, i think it happens over time and u dont even notice it. My fam have also had a buncha dogs n puppers before but they were either given away or passed away. My bro also has dis cat named bob and i think he counts as a semi pet since my bro's home is a fam home.

Oh and yknow wat? 100 Tula Para Kay Stella is da 1st filipino film i actually liked so it has a special place in meh heart :')

The story is from Byron’s POV

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

–… It was night, the moon was shining in the night sky.

I invited Dee, who was in Stein, in my room, to spend some time together, just the two of us. …………

Byron: “It's been a long time since we got to spent time together, like this.”

Dee: “Yes...”

I pushed her thin body against the sheets and gently dropped a kiss on her forehead. Looking into her eyes, she returned the gaze, and filled me with sweet heat.

Dee: “I wanted to see for so long.”

Byron: “… me too.” (pic 2)

(I always think that… When I touch you like this, I feel like I can fill the time we could not meet.)

Dee: “… ah…nnn…”

I captured her soft lips, our breaths mingled. Explored the inside of her mouth, to find her tongue, it felt like our heat became one.

Dee: “Mnnnn…ah, King Byron…”

Slowly released her lips leaving an aftertaste, I slipped my hand around Dee's back.

Byron: “As I recall, some time ago, didn't you said you came here for something”

As I slid down the zipper of her dress, I remembered our conversation a while ago. I dropped her dress down to her waist and brought my lips to her bare skin, Dee's body shivered in response.

Dee: “ah...nnn… since, soon, it is your birthday… I was wondering if you would have some free time to celebrate with me…”

(… that was it?) Warm feelings arose in my heart at the thought that Dee wanted to celebrate. While a smile floated on my lips, feeling my chest warm, I slid my hand from her waist down to her leg.

Byron: “It will be difficult on that day, but I can make time later.”

Dee: “Really? I'm glad…”

Seeing Dee smiling happily, I fetl my chest tight. (I love Dee's smiling face. I want to make her smile even more.)

Byron: “Is there anything you would like to do on that day?”

I raised my body a little to look her in the eyes.

Dee: “I am glad we can celebrate together your birthday… King Byron, what do you want to do?”

(What I want…?)

Byron: “I … want to see your happy face.”

Dee: “eh…”

As I answered, Dee blushed slightly.

Dee: “King Byron… that is sly?”

Byron: “Sly…?”

Dee: “Since, just by saying these words, you already make me happy…”

Dee averted her face feeling embarrassed. (You too make me happy, just saying these words. You don't seem to realize that.) To convey my feelings that were welling up inside me, I lifted the hem of her dress, and traced my fingers from her knee to her thigh.

Dee: “Mnnn… ahh…”

When I touched her sensitive spot, Dee's body started to quiver.

Byron: “Dee… how can I please you even more?”

Dee: “… ahh, isn't it improper, even though it is your birthday, you want to make me feel happy?”

Byron: “It's not improper, since that is what I want for my birthday.”

Sucking gently on her skin, her sweet voice resounded in my ear.

Byron: “I want to hear your wishes.”

Dee: “…nnnn, then…”

Dee: “I want to see the snow festival together…”

I stopped my movement, hearing Dee's shy words.

Byron: “Yes… speaking of it, it will be held in the town near the castle soon.”

Dee: “Yes… King Byron, I think you will surely like it…”

I remember that for the Stein festival, volunteers will make snow sculptures on the streets. Since that festival will lovely decorate the town… Dee will love the scenery.

Byron: “Very well. I promise we will go together.”

Dee: “… oh, I'm glad. I'm looking forward.”

A smile appeared on Dee's face, like a blooming flower, I felt my chest becoming hot again. (There is no better gift than this smile.) I raised myself to meet Dee's gaze, and dropped a deep kiss on her lips. Our night continued until dawn while drowning in her sweet heat…--

– … Several days later, on the promised day.

Dee: “Wow, there are lots of nice snow statues…!”

Byron: “Yes”

The snow festival, held every year in the castle town, became famous for the snow sculpture displayed in the evening. (It's been a long time since I spent my personal time in this way, instead of being on an inspection.) I took Dee to walk through the streets where the snow sculptures were displayed.

Dee: “That rabbit snow statue is cute, isn't it?”

Byron: “… it looks like Benjamin.”

Dee: “Benjamin?”

Byron: “Al's rabbit pet.”

Dee: “Albert's rabbit pet is cute like this?”

Dee chuckled.

Dee: “Then, I'd like also to see a statue of Spinner.”

Byron: “Is there a snow statue of an owl?”

Dee: “Maybe there is. Let's look.”

Byron: “… very well.”

I turned to look at Dee, beside me, meeting her gaze. (Today, she smiled a lot. She seems to be enjoying it.) My mouth relaxed into a smile, at that time, the cell phone rang. (It's from Al…) I excused myself to Dee, and answered the phone.

Byron: “What is it, Al?”

Albert: “Excuse me, King Byron. There is something you need to look at as soon as possible…”

Byron: “… I see. I'll return to the castle immediately.”

(This is bad, our time together ends here.) I ended the call, and faced Dee.

Byron: “Dee, I'm sorry but…”

Dee: “It is okay. Official duties, isn't it? Please, don't worry about me.”

To reassure me, Dee gave me a sweet smile. (You always do that, to support me.) I gently peered into Dee's eyes, while slowly stroking her hair.

Byron: 'I will definitely make up for this later. Since there is a guard nearby, he will keep company.”

Dee: “I understand.”

(Speaking of it… Nico too came to Stein, as Dee's attendant. Dee will feel more comfortable with him, than with a guard she doesn’t know…)

Byron: “I will send Nico. Please take your time enjoying the festival.”

Dee: “Thank you King Byron. Take care at the castle.”

Byron: “Yes.” (pic 3)

I released Dee's hair, and turned around to go to the castle.

――… a few hours later.

(… this is everything) Nico came to my office just as I finished in a hurry with my official duties.

Nico: “King Byron, can I have a minute?”

Byron: “Yes. … you already returned to the castle.”

Nico: “Yes. By the way, Dee is in the garden.”

Byron: “The garden…?”

Nico: “She requested for you to go to the garden, if you have time after your official duties.”

Byron: “… is there something in the garden?”

Nico: “That … you should go and enjoy it. Now, please excuse me.” (pic 4)

I tilted my head, watching Nico leave.

(… what was that?) …………

As I stepped into the garden covered in snow, I found Dee immediately.

Byron: “Dee” (pic 5)

Dee: “Ah, King Byron…! You came.”

I widened my eyes, seeing next to Dee, as she turned around, a snow sculpture.

Byron: “Is that a snow sculpture … of Spinner?” (pic 5)

Dee: “Yes. Can you tell?”

Byron: “Yes. It is well done.”

As I expressed my honest impression, Dee smiled happily.

Byron: “But why are you making a snow statue…?”

Dee: “Because you could not look for a snow statue of an owl at the festival … I thought about making it myself, so you could enjoy it even if it is not the same.”

Byron: “For me…?”

(Even though, I was the one that left you alone for urgent official duties… you were still thinking about me.) To Dee's kindness, my chest became warmer, and at the same time a little aching. (How can I… repay you?)

Dee: “But, as expected, it is difficult to make a snow statue.”

I approached Dee, while stepping on snow, as she returned her gaze to the sculpture.

Dee: “I wanted to show it to you to after I’d finish it, but the feathers are not done yet.”

Byron: “… Dee”

Dee: “…!”

I embraced her cold body from behind and gently pressed my lips on her forehead.

Dee: “… ah… King Byron?” (pic 6)

I hugged breathless Dee tightly.

Byron: “It's no good.”

Dee: “What…?”

Byron: “I wanted to please you, but I was the one that got pleased.”

Taking a small breath, Dee seemed ticklish and laughed gently.

Dee: “King Byron, I'm happy that you were pleased.”

Byron: “Dee...” (pic 7)

Dee: “But, isn't just you King Byron”

Byron: “…?”

Dee leaned her back in my embrace, and spoke in a gentle voice.

Dee: “King Byron, even though you were busy, you took me to the festival. That made me very happy. I'm sure I am more happy than you.”

(… you really think that) Hearing her unexpected words, made my chest warm, my pulse beating faster.

Byron: “You… are very good at messing with my heart.”

(you are always… too much)

Dee: “…. nnnn.”

I lifted Dee's chin, capturing her lips and cold breath. I repeated the kiss, until the soft touch was tinged with heat. (No matter how much you are thinking about me… there will be many occasions when I'll give priority to my official duties.) While touching Dee, I checked the feelings in my heart. (I can’t choose which is more important, my country, Dee. So, at least I want to spend with Dee all the time that I have free.)

Dee: “King Byron…, … ah”

I dropped kisses, tracing from her lips to her cheeks. In that moment, I saw with the corner of my eye something white dancing, falling.

Byron: “… it started to snow.” (pic 8)

Dee: “It is beautiful.”

Byron: “Yes… but that would be a problem since you could catch a cold.”

I offered Dee my hand.

Byron: “Let's go back to my room now.”

Dee: “Yes…” (pic 9) …………

After we returned to my room, I was touching Dee to convey my feelings. While our naked bodies were piled on top of the sheets, I was kissing Dee to raise her heat.

Dee: “… nnn, ahhh”

Shifted the position of my body so that Dee could move, while touching her sensitive place.

Byron: “Sorry… I can't let you go.”

Dee: “… ah… King Byron…”

(even so, her body is cold) Touching her skin, I realized that she spent a long time outside making that snow statue, my heart is filled with precious love. (you put great effort in making the snow statue…)

Byron: “… it's regrettable.”

My 2nd Ice Show Adventure (Fantasy On Ice 2017 in Niigata)

Summer 2015, I went for my very 1st ice show, Fantasy On Ice (FaOI) in Kobe, and it was the 1st time I saw ‘nama-Yuzu’ (real-life Yuzuru) after being a fan since 2014 Olympics.

Summer 2016, I had tickets for FaOI again but this time, Yuzu pulled out of all ice shows to recover from lisfranc ligament injury, so I sold my ticket, prayed for Yuzu’s health and happiness, sent him letters of support, and managed to survive the terribly long off-season with other long-suffering Yuzu-fans.

This summer (2017), I am so busy with work projects that I have no time for fangirling, not to mention ice shows, and I moaned about it to a few friends. Almost like a miracle, one friend told me that if I wanted, she could get tickets for me for FaOI Niigata! I decided I could get away for the weekend. I must!

The shows were on Friday, Saturday, Sunday (16-18 June) and it would be my first time in Niigata. I took an ANA flight (yay! ANA!) and arrived in Niigata airport on Thursday. The first meal I had was a very delicious bowl of ramen, and as I ate, I was surprised that I could taste bits of yuzu (the fruit). I have never had ramen with yuzu before and so I was really happy! It was really oiishiiiiiiiiii~~!!! What a great omen, I thought. My first meal on this trip was with yuzu. xD

On this 1st night, there was something else that made me think of Yuzu.... I saw Bourbon ice-cream! “Mo chotto”!

I was way too full from the huge bowl of ramen and so I did not buy ‘Mo Chotto’ ice-cream to try. Thought I’d try it another day but I did not pass by this shop again and I could not find it anywhere else. Sigh. Regret. The snack is common but the ice-cream is not.

Friday 16 June (ice show is at 7pm, doors open at 6pm)

In the morning, I changed hotel. Checked into ANA Crowne Plaza (yay, ANA!) because it’s a short walk to the ice show venue. A Yuzu-fan friend, D-chan, messaged to say she is nearby and asked me to join her for coffee. OK! It was a lovely breezy walk from ANA hotel to an area called Pier Bandai and I found her in a cosy little coffee place with comfy sofas. I ordered an iced coffee and we chatted away. “I can’t believe I’m really here....” “He’s somewhere near us now, you know....” “Omg we’re breathing the same air as him....” xD

Happiness is talking with a Yuzu-fan while sipping coffee in Japan. :)

Soon it was time to meet another friend, Kay, the wonderful person who got my tickets for me. We had plans for an early dinner together and then go for the ice show. I met her at Niigata Station and we walked around looking for food. Some restaurants were not yet opened for dinner as it was too early. Luckily there was a soba shop that was open and we both felt like eating soba, so in we went. (soba= buckwheat noodles)

We ordered their specialty which was soba dipped in a warm broth with tender slices of pork. And once again, I had the lovely surprise of finding yuzu in it! I really love the citrusy fragrance it gave to the soupy noodles. We felt so happy eating soba with yuzu. It was a very good meal. :)

From Niigata station, there was a shuttle bus to the show venue, running pretty frequently. (I really love Japan; they think of everything.) There was no real need to look for the bus-stop, just look for the long queue! Luckily, it was a short wait as the buses came quickly and soon we were on our way to Toki Messe! Just a 10-minute bus ride and we were there, a lovely glassy tall building by the river.

We were early but the queue for FaOI merchandise was already VERY LONG. It’s ok, let’s admire the pretty Tanabata decorations and chit-chat while we wait in line. Finally we could at least SEE the sale counter! It’s going to be our turn! I got a T-shirt, a towel and the programme booklet. So happy to get the towel because 2 years ago at FaOI Kobe, the towel was sold out before it was my turn, on the very 1st day!

Then Kay pointed out to me something that made me very happy.... Ice Rink Sendai merchandise counter! I have not had the chance to buy anything from Yuzu’s hometown rink before, so I hurried towards it excitedly. Wow, they really have a lot of pretty things!

The photo of Yuzu wearing ‘Irene gloves’ was there. (Irene is short for ‘Ice Rink Sendai’ and is the name of the mascot.) And also his signature with a message saying “I will never forget, I will continue to do my best and give my support.” (my translation from Japanese) And there is a little mushroom at the end. ^^

What a simple but heartwarming message for his hometown rink....

I bought the ‘Irene’ gloves, T-shirt, keychain and some stationery. I love the pink theme!

There were also stalls selling really beautiful books and magazines..... I want them all!

Glad we were early. It was hard to take a good look at the stalls when it got very crowded later.

I was also very amused to see a counter that rented out binoculars, haha. I did not rent one on the 1st day, but I did for the next 2 days. Best decision ever. I could see clearly all his cute facial expressions and who he was talking to all the time at the finale. (Guess who. :))

And of course, there were big boxes for fan letters and gifts to skaters. Yuzu’s box filled up quickly and the inner bag had to be changed several times by the staff. I used my new Irene stationery to write 2 fan letters (one on behalf of the FB international fan group and one from myself) and dropped them into the box on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day, I decided to also drop a letter into Oda-san’s box. I told him I enjoy his skating, his talk shows and his blog, thanked him for his great friendship with Yuzu, and may God bless his beautiful family. :)

After all the excitement outside, it’s time to go in. The seating arena for Niigata is smaller than some other places, so even the furthest row was not that far away. I was somewhere in the middle, nearer one end of the rink.

As usual, there were guys in black jackets who walk around holding up big signs that say “No taking of photos or videos”. (I took this pic before the show, no pics during the show. Law-abiding fan.)

The show started and the skaters were introduced one or two at a time. Yuzu was the last one to come out and the applause and cheers for him were huge. It was clear who the star of the show was. :)

After the opening number, the skaters did their individual performances. I enjoyed watching all of them. My favourite ones were the 2 performances by Nobunari Oda -- the music was beautiful for both and I love to watch his jumps; it’s like he lands on marshmallow (once again I am reminded of why they gave him that T-shirt saying ‘landing with cat’s feet’); Sex Bomb by Plushenko was hilarious and I laughed so much; and Shizuka Arakawa-- what supreme grace and beauty.

Ice dancers Papadakis and Cizeron were very beautiful to watch. So glad they performed in this FaOI. The acrobatic duo of 2 men in Swan Lake tutu performing ‘Notte Stellata’ was very funny. I have seen Yuzu perform to this song so beautifully so many times in the past season (and watched it live at 4CC) and now this exact same song is skated in such a comical way..... I was so tickled. xD

For the record, the other skaters were Kaori Sakamoto, Marin Honda, Akiko Suzuki, Miki Ando, Shoma Uno, Evgenia Medvedeva, Denis Vasiljevs, Javier Fernandez, Elladj Balde, Johnny Weir, Stephane Lambiel, Jeffrey Buttle and the Chesnas. Many of them performed twice, before and after the intermission. Much thanks to all for their wonderful performances!

At the end was Yuzu’s Chopin Ballade Number 1. I had the good fortune of watching this 2 years ago, at the last show of FaOI 2015, when he gave us a surprise performance with live piano music played by Kotaro Fukuma. At that time, he did the 2nd half of his usual Chopin, in a black FaOI finale shirt. It was awesome. So this time, I was really excited that I would see the full performance with that beautiful white Chopin top. And wow.... he really took my breath away. Although I have watched him perform Chopin for 2 seasons already, it felt like a different Chopin. It was the same and yet it was different. More beautiful, more powerful, more flow, more speed, more precision.... it was already so perfect, how can it be even better, but it is! (based on my ‘expert’ opinion.) I am so thrilled that he is doing this for the new season! I LOVE Chopin!

After Chopin, he went backstage to dry his sweat and then came out again to do an encore of ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ (his SP for last season). It was funny to watch LGC performed in that sweet Chopin costume. So mismatched, haha.

For the finale, Yuzu came out in a glittery blue FaOI top with a cat ears-hair band on his head. He danced in the group number and even did a cartwheel on the ice! And he waved happily to all of us. It was so good to see him enjoying himself. I am very glad he did not do any quad battles at the end. He just did a side lunge for the 1st show (with one under a set of hurdles, so amazing!), a hydroblade for the 2nd show, and a ‘muscle man’ pose with Plushenko at the last show. And when others are doing their jumps or special elements in the middle of the rink, he would skate from his original position to the space between his idol Plushenko and good buddy Nobu. And he was often talking to Plush. Ahhh... Yuzu, still the cute fan-boy after all these years. :)))

After the finale, when all the other skaters have left the rink, Yuzu took a mic and spoke to thank all of us. He said things like please take care of yourselves, take care as you go home, have a meal, have a good rest, who is staying on for tomorrow’s show? oh that’s quite a lot of you (laughs), thank you for your support, I really enjoyed myself, eh to, eh to, there is still so much that I want to say, but never mind, it is already very late, I should stop here, I really want to thank all of you for today....... And he would end by putting the mic down and shouting as loudly as he could with his own voice “Arigato gozaimashita!”

Listening to him speak was just wonderful.... I was touched by his concern for his fans and also half-laughing at some things he said. He wanted to talk more but he did not want to hold us back as it was already way past 10pm on that 1st night. That dear talkative boy. :) Oh Yuzu, your fans would listen to you all night, if only we could. But then we want you to rest too! You need a good rest and a good meal more than us!

In his speech for the 2nd day, he also thanked the people who made the ice rink. He said the ice was very good to skate on and they all loved skating there. Yuzu and his grateful heart. :)

On that 2nd day, I was seated at the other end, where the stage was. (I took this pic as I was leaving.) When he was speaking, he was standing on the left of the stage just outside the ice. I had a very clear side view of him through my binoculars ( I was halfway up the stands). His face was sweaty but dazzling with happiness as he spoke. How I wish I was sitting this close!

The shows for Saturday and Sunday were at 2 pm and 1pm respectively.

Most skaters performed the same programmes for all 3 shows in Niigata but a few skaters did a different one for one of the shows. Like Marin Honda, for the 2nd show, she performed in a very cute Japan Airlines air stewardess costume. Elladj Balde was the skater before Marin (he did a great Michael Jackson medley) and when he finished his performance, he skated to one end with his chair and just sat there. Marin skated out in her JAL costume, went to him and said in Japanese, “Sir, would you like some coffee or tea?” Haha, that was how she started and I really enjoyed her performance. For the other 2 days, she did ‘Crime Tale’. Javier also had a different one in the 2nd show; instead of his new SP, it was a funny pirate one where he was a cleaner-boy daydreaming. Johnny Weir performed ‘Amazing Grace’ in the 2nd half for the 1st 2 days, then on the 3rd day, he did a song called ‘Creep’. His performance was so heart-wrenching, I almost cried. I can still feel the pain he expressed even now when I think back..... Johnny’s skating is really very special. No wonder he is one of the skaters that Yuzu has looked up to since junior days.

In the 3rd show, which was the last FaOI show for 2017, Yuzu had some surprises for us.

After performing Chopin, he went backstage as usual, and the rink was dark. As with the previous 2 shows, we waited a while and then started to call his name. “Yuzu, Yuzu....” The MC said we have to shout his name louder because he can’t hear us. So we shouted “YUZU!” as loudly as we could, expecting him to appear for the LGC encore. Suddenly, the sounds of an electric guitar filled the air. There was a guitarist on stage and he was playing ‘Parisienne Walkways’!!!! We recognised it immediately and the fan beside me turned to me with eyes as big as saucers. She grabbed my hand and we started screaming and jumping about, mad with excitement! Yuzu then skated out to all our screams and did his legendary PW wearing his Chopin costume (he did the 2nd half of the usual PW programme). Oh wow!!! What a surprise! What a treat!!! Yuzu's PW with live guitar!!! I felt like the luckiest fan in the world!!!

After that amazing encore, he went backstage and the finale started. The other skaters came out in turns to do the group number. When Yuzu came out again for his part in the finale, we all went hysterical again! Because he was wearing a yellow headband with Pooh ears!! Hahaha...... this guy really knows how to make his fans scream. He looked so adorable! It was wonderful to see him looking so happy and enjoying himself so much. (Later, I saw a Japanese fan on twitter say the Pooh headbands were all sold out. But of course. The Yuzuru-effect. XD)

Then at the very end of the show, when the other skaters have left the rink, he gave a very emotional speech and made me cry. He said that last year he could not do anything (no ice shows at all due to injury), so now he is feeling very happy to be back doing this and he loves skating and he is feeling most blessed and he is the happiest person in the world. (*may not be the exact words but the meaning is such.) And he thanked the organisers and other people and all of us. It was not so much the words he said but the way he said them. There were so much emotions. His voice trembled a bit at the beginning. It sounded like he was tearing and was trying to control himself not to cry. As he spoke, his feelings were just gushing out...... he was just so utterly happy and grateful for everything!

Then he did the usual ending-shout; he put down the mic, cupped his hands near his mouth and shouted "arigato-gozaimashita!", and we all shouted back "arigato-gozaimashita!" And then he bowed and waved and went in through the curtains.

Tears were running down my face. I continued to say softly, "Arigato, Yuzu-kun, arigato." Thank you, Yuzu, thank you. My tears just kept flowing as I thought back. After going through so much... so much..... he is finally where he is supposed to be.......

Seeing Yuzu so happy and healthy is one of the best things in the world.

I met Kay after the show and we talked about how special Yuzu is. And how is it that he can make us fly thousands of miles to watch him perform just those few minutes and we feel it’s so worth our time, money and energy. She would be flying home that night, and for me, my flight home was the next day. As with all good things, it ended too quickly but our hearts were filled to overflowing.

I am very grateful to Kay for her help with tickets and for her fun company. We met up every day and ate some very delicious food together. On the 2nd day after the show, we walked around and found a little ramen shop to have dinner. And again there was yuzu in it!!! (See the little yellow strips on top of the soup?) Kay also ordered a yuzu sparkling wine. I had a sip and it was lovely! Another meal with yuzu.... ahhh life is good. :)

On the last night after the ice show, I shopped for stuff like P&G Bold clothes detergent, Lenor clothes deodoriser and softener, Ghana chocolate and Xylitol gum. I was so happy to find all these things near my hotel, and after I lugged my heavy shopping back to my hotel room, I realised I had forgotten to buy rice! Niigata is famous for very good rice and I had wanted to buy a small bag of rice home. :(( I messaged Kay to lament and she replied, it’s ok, he is not the ambassador for rice. Hahaha..... I love Yuzu-fans. (I did manage to get a bag of rice before I left for the airport the next day. :) )

Yuzu-fans are really wonderful and generous. And just like Yuzu, they surprise me all the time. On the 2nd night, D-chan passed a package to me from a fan that I don’t even know. Inside were some Japanese newspapers and advertisements with Yuzu, and also ‘Weekend Sendai’!!! OMG I nearly fainted with happiness. (Weekend Sendai is a free travel magazine given out in Japan many months back. Yuzu is featured inside recommending food and places in Sendai. 1st pic below, left side.) Gosh, how did she know it’s something I had been coveting for ages now??? I told D-chan to give her my utmost gratitude. And thank you, D-chan, for being a good friend and messenger! So glad I met you on this trip!

Another fan gave me gorgeous photos of Yuzu that she had taken herself at competitions. And she said, “Thank you for the good work that you do in the fan group.” Aww..... I was so touched! Thank you, CL!

I was so happy when I was packing my luggage on the last night in Niigata. I had so many precious goodies in my bag! Thank you, dear Yuzu-fans!!! Hope to see you all again!

Ahhh it's open! Can I ask for Tsumugi and Mika just...hanging out together and being happy. Because I love them both so much and I love when they talk to each other in the stories. Ty!

yes of course aaaa !! i didn’t know if you wanted it to be romantic or platonic but i got the platonic vibe so here’s some cute friendly tsumumika ~

He had chosen a nice, cosy spot in an equally nice, cosy café. After all, the two barely have any time to sit back and relax, so if they were going to sit back and relax together, they might as well enjoy it together.

"And then, and then! Keito-kun came back with twenty-seven pairs of glasses! Twenty-seven!“ Tsumugi exclaims, his hands flying up in excitement. "That must be why Eichi-kun keeps complaining about the Student Council Room being filled with lots of ‘crap’!”

Mika laughs in spite of himself; usually, he doesn’t like hearing about people like Keito and Eichi, but when Tsumugi tells him about the shenanigans that goes on the lives of the third years, he can’t help but want to listen more.

"And? Which one did ya pick?“

"Ah, hold on, I think I took a picture of it. Haha, afterwards Midori-kun, Hajime-kun and I took a selfie together. Juniors are so nice, aren’t they?”

Mika nods. “If I had some it’d be nice for sure, yeah.”

"That’s why I told Shu-kun to open applications for the first-years to join Valkyrie earlier this year. Honestly, he’s such a perfectionist,“ Tsumugi says, doggedly swiping through the many pictures on his phone. "Ah, I swiped past it! Oh, but look at this! I took this picture of Sora-kun, isn’t he such a cutie?”

Mika leans over, squinting over the table. “I can’t see… oh! He looks real cute! How did ya take a pic while he was sleepin’?”

Tsumugi laughs, retrieving his phone to smile at the picture he took. “I don’t know, Natsume-kun gave us a break and Sora-kun was so tired from school he just fell asleep on my lap! Juniors really are so adorable…”

They nod at the thought together for a second, before remembering themselves and laughing again.

"Sorry, sorry! I got off tangent again, didn’t I, Mika-kun? Where was I?“

"Oh no, it’s no problem, Tsumu-chan-senpai!” Mika reassures him. “I love t’ hear ya ramble on and on!”

Tsumugi’s cheeks warm, and he plays with his hair shyly. “Well, you are one of the few people who can tolerate me rambling on and on… Mika-kun, tell me more about what’s going on with you too!”

"Eh?“ Mika jolts a little. "Even if you say so, it’s too sudden - I can’t think of nothing interesting to tell ya!”

"Anything is fine, Mika-kun! After all, everything you say is interesting!“

Mika squirms a little in his seat, bubbling with embarrassment and pleasure. He opens his mouth, dry with the dull thoughts he harbours, but is saved by the waitress.

"One lemon tart and one choco-choco cake! Enjoy your meal!”

"Ah, thank you!“ Tsumugi beams as the waitress walks away, and turns to his tart with thinly-concealed glee. "You’re right when you said that this place sold cute cakes, Mika-kun! These are so cute! I’m so glad I took up your offer to come here!”

Being praised by Tsumugi tickles Mika, and he smiles back. “Ehehe, ’m glad you like it too. Try a bite, Tsumu-chan-senpai!”

"Well, if you insist! Mm… Oh, it tastes really good too! I’m so happy! I must invite Natsume-kun and Sora-kun here next time! I’m sure they’d enjoy it as much as we do.“

"Ah, really? It makes me happy to hear that too, Tsumu-chan-senpai!” Mika says, slipping a forkful of his cake into his mouth. “Mm, the choco-choco cake is always so good - would ya like to try some too?”

"Really? I can?“ Tsumugi lights up. "Thank you, Mika-kun, you’re so kind! One bite…”

Tsumugi leans across the table, and bites into Mika’s fork with the morsel of cake on it. There’s something… different about feeding his senior; Mika feels his face become a little hotter than usual.

Then Tsumugi slides back into his seat, the perpetual smile brightening his features. “You’re right, this cake is good too! Mika-kun, you really have good taste!”

"Aw, shucks…“

"Anyway, where were we…” Tsumugi tries to think back to where their previous conversation ended at, but to no avail. “Oh dear, it seems that even when we’re free to talk about whatever we wish to, we end up going off on our own tangents. Being with Mika-kun is too fun!”

"A-ah, really?“ Mika asks, bashful again. His eyes flicker from his cake, to Tsumugi’s smiling face, and he feels his own smile creep back onto his face. "I like being with Tsumu-chan-senpai too, ya know! I wish I could spend every day with ya here together.”

ticket to ride

kim taehyung x reader, college!au fluff word count: 1.8k

you’re not sure what compelled you to offer a favor to someone you barely knew

Aimlessly scrolling through social media to kill time waiting for your friend, you’re dismayed to find that you showed up at the shopping plaza so early that you had scrolled through almost all your media feed, twitter, tumblr, instagram, snapchat. You frown slightly at refreshing your more face-paced feeds like twitter, but finding little more content to consume, you reluctantly resign yourself to tapping open your last resort: facebook. Communicating with college acquaintances was important, you supposed, but just fresh out of finals, you wanted to enjoy at least a bit of your summer break without considering how everyone you knew seemed to be more successful at finding meaningful summer jobs or internships than you.

At least that’s what you told yourself but here you were scrolling through the frustrating app anyway. Like a fool.

So you sat at a shaded bench and texted your friend where to meet and scrolled past videos recommended to you via algorithm, events you may or may not be interested in attending, grad pics you at least paused on to reply with your congratulations, and hm. Taking a minute to read a little closer-

“Hey! Y/n, what’s up?”

“Oh,” you look up with surprise to greet your friend, “hey Namjoon, not much.” You ask if he wants to grab some food before shopping and conversation picks up from there. It’s not until you both are both nearly finished with your meals that you absently sip at your iced tea and ask, “Would it be weird to offer a ride to someone who needs one? If you don’t know them that well?”

“No?” Namjoon answers while snatching a fry from your tray, “you’re doing them a favor so if anything they’ll be thankful to you.”

You huff in response because that wasn’t the kind of answer you were looking for and though you shoot Namjoon an unamused glare, you wait another moment before responding in hopes that he actually had more to say.

Chewing thoughtfully he nods, “well I guess…since it’s you though, it’ll be ride of awkward or no conversation.” Namjoon pauses again, making eye contact with your still present glare.

You snort at his words.

He then hums in affirmation, “see? You’re not really one to keep a conversation going. Anyway, did someone ask you to take them somewhere?”

“I guess” you concede, “I’m not the best conversation buddy” Your eyes narrow as you swat at Namjoon’s hand attempting to sneak another one of your fries. “But I dunno. Earlier I saw someone who needs a ride to the train station and it kind of works for me because I’ll already be in the area that day and it’s on the way home…” Letting your words trail off you take another sip of your drink only to receive the discordant sound of exaggerated sipping and no more tea.

“And you just wanted to be nice?” Namjoon fills in oh so helpfully.

“Yeah.”

“Then I don’t see a problem,” Namjoon shrugs, “even if you suck at making small talk make them sit in the backseat and listen to music or something. Or maybe they’ll be talkative enough to make up for it.”

Your eyebrows still scrunch together with doubt and Namjoon takes the opportunity to swipe another french fry, although he accidentally topples your drink cup in the process. The empty clatter immediately snaps you out from your distracted consideration of Namjoons advice.

“Thanks for the input,” you mutter dryly with a fixed glare.

Namjoon only smiles sheepishly in response.

Flopping on to your bed with a huff, just about ready to fall asleep, you pull out your phone to set an alarm for the next day. You had errands to run in the morning, and thanks to Namjoon’s prompting, you sent a message offering a ride to, it turned out, a good friend of his. According to Namjoon, the kid was friendly and you had nothing to worry about, but if sound logic and good advice was enough to assuage your doubts, you probably wouldn’t still be lying wide awake contemplating the problems of tomorrow.

Eventually you fall asleep to the soft hum of your nerves calming in the silence and solitude of your room.

The next day arrives and brings a consistent stream of stress in the form of almost-mishaps. From snoozing your alarm one too many times and running out to drive to your volunteer shift without grabbing more than a granola bar, realizing you forgot your drivers license and making a detour back home to grab it on the off chance you’d need it, arriving late to deliver some stuff you were selling to make moving out easier for one of your roommates and finding that the buyer was even more late than you, nothing truly went wrong but your day was chaotic enough to have you exhausted and ready to nap for a week to make up for it.

But you didn’t have that kind of time and settled for a quick lunch as poor compensation.

Your phone lit up with a message from the person you barely knew but offered to drive to the train station. It had been a while, but you two had shared a class a few academic quarters ago and sometimes passed by each other at general body meetings or events for a mutual org. Although you don’t remember ever having a one-on-one conversation or spending time together without other mutual friends present, you resign yourself to a first for everything. Fingers metaphorically crossed as you pulled up to the agreed meeting place with your to-be-passenger, you rolled down to window and waved to the waiting figure nearby, hoping you would be recognizable.

“Oh! Hey, Y/n,” he smiled, excitement clear as the brightness in his expression, “was just about to message and make sure it was you.”

Chuckling sheepishly in response, “hey Taehyung. Yeah, I’m kind of glad you were able to notice me. Do you want your stuff in the backseat or in the trunk?” You gesture to his luggage and carry-on and briefly wonder if courtesy required you to step out of your car to greet him and help him with his stuff. But then he’s already wheeling his bags towards the trunk of your car as you push the button to open it accommodatingly to watch helplessly in the rear view mirror and hope with all of your being that you weren’t being rude.

Thankfully you remembered to also unlock the car doors and Taehyung hops into the passenger seat beside you without trouble and offers an iced tea with boba. You blink, pleasantly surprised as he gives another bright grin that somehow lights up the space around him even as the corner of his lips aren’t upturned in the way you’re used to smiles doing. And yet, his smile was incredibly endearing and happiness is contagious and the boy teases a thank you and a grateful smile from you before you even realize it.

Given that you had driven friends and roommates to the train station before and didn’t need directions, you were able to drive comfortably and popped in the straw to your drink, delighted that he chose a flavor that you enjoyed.

Taehyung only shrugs off your attempt and another thanks, upholding that, “hey, you’re actually being a big help to me, you deserve it. It’s for you.”

“Hmm I guess. Thanks, still,” you reply with a small huff and a smile.

You’re not sure if Taehyung thinks you still need convincing, but he has some way of filling up space. In conversation, in the car, from talking about his thankfulness that you were willing to brave the traffic that was inevitable from people driving home from their jobs during this time of day, how lucky he felt from not needing to call an uber or lyft which surely would’ve cost him a pretty penny in this traffic, to firmly insisting that he treat you out to a meal or something when he was back in town. He didn’t mind if you had to brake less than smoothly if other vehicles on the road drove more recklessly than you, easily continued conversation from your shorter responses, and just, had some way of making and filling space.

The both of you were animatedly talking about your pet dogs back home, sharing fond and nostalgic memories and before you realized and could transition the conversation to proper thanks and appreciation of Taehyung’s company, you had arrived at the train station and just a few seconds away from arriving at the pick-up/drop-off curb.

Facing you, Taehyung had yet to notice, “Ahhh, it’s been so long since I’ve seen Soonshim y-”

“Hey uhh,” you interrupted a little less than gracefully, softened with a smile, “I’m really sorry but we’re here.” You felt awful for cutting him off, but hoped your unease didn’t make its way into your expression.

“Oh…listen, Y/n, it was really nice of you to drive me!” Taehyung replies without missing a beat, “have a good summer break I really hope you don’t have to deal with a lot of traffic on your way home-”

You both jump a bit at a loud beep from a vehicle behind you, supposedly waiting for their turn to pull up in the drop-off zone as well and you already feel the imaginary time limit weigh on your shoulders. Your mind drifts back to the hassle of the day’s previous errands. Right. Because nothing today was allowed to go smoothly.

Your thoughts were the mental equivalent to keyboard smashing and while you regretted the forced and quick goodbyes with Taehyung and again, helpless waiting in the driver’s seat as he retrieved his bags from your trunk on his own, Taehyung tried to wave off the concern in your possibly frowny-face and gave one last beaming grin directed at you.

“Have a great summer!! Thanks again!” you hear, past the hum of outside clamor and vehicles pulling up and leaving.

Letting your mind focus instead on the traffic that never eased up on your way home and the soft hum of your favorite playlist, you tried not to think about how much lonelier it felt whenever you turned your head to your right and took unusual notice of the empty passenger seat.

Stop-and-go-traffic came and went and you grew increasingly relieved the closer and closer you got to home. It wasn’t until you safely arrived and tiredly lay down on a nest of pillows and blankets still gathered on your living room couch that you looked at your phone to notice a new message.

[5:15pm]kim taehyung: thank u again for taking me to the train station!!! HOPE YOUR DRIVE HOME IS EASY AND LIGHTER TRAFFIC THAN YOU EXPECT!! pls let me take you out sometime for food when you have time!!! or I can drop off food anytime during the school year

You smiled at Taehyung’s energy that carried over so naturally over text, and replied as promptly as you could now that you were no longer driving. It feels almost natural to continue conversation with him and you’re glad that none of your fears over the favor came to fruition.

It was on a Monday when your graduation was being held on. In all honesty, I don’t see all of this coming in a way that I was actually gonna witness your graduation ceremony.

As you can see, in the the second pic I took a picture of him through a screen as I was not able to get in the damn auditorium tho I tried to sneak in without any invitation card HAHAHA silly me. When the people in charge over there escorted me out I was already panicking like crrrraaazzzzyyyyyy like come on I wanna watch my man graduation (like duh who doesn’t) then, they brought me to another room where they had complimentary food and also LIVE SCREENING (ahhh thank God) by then I felt slightly relieved because at least I could see my man on screen rather than just nothing at all.

So during the whole time I was texting H asking him when was his turn etc and that I was feeling really nervous for him HAHA I had no idea why I was feeling that way tbh. And when his turn comes, I got butterflies in my stomach like legit I’m not kidding guys. I was over the moon when i see my man walking on the stage shaking hands with the principal or director idk man haha all I know is that my eyes and focus were on H. Istg he looks extra charming and handsome on that day because he was wearing this gown and also the smart shirt thing going on.

After that, his two friends came to surprise him (which I didn’t tell him about) I lied to him telling that my brother wants to meet him because his gf is schooling in NYP. Guess what? He literally took my word for it. Next thing he knows, I came with Filzah and Hassan. Both of them were his good friends, I was really thankful they came because they made the situation less awkward. I’ll get to it regarding the awkwardness in a bit okay! So we managed to get some pics together and we even took pictures at the damn food court HAHAHA I can’t even la please.

Moving on to the awkwardness part, the reason why I said it was because he told me to meet his parents and istg my legs were literally like jelly. Ya know those kind of feeling when your legs starts to wobbles?! hahahaha yeah so that was what I was feeling. My whole body was shaking and my heart....... omg it was thumping lika jackhammer I feel like I almost died man. The part where the mom wanted to take picture with me was the part I felt sooooooo nervous yet happy. Idk if it is a feeling but yeah that’s how I felt. It was nice meeting his parents knowing that both of them actually played an important role in his life. I’m glad that we actually met.

So then, we went to the school’s food court had our lunch because we were starving like crazy. We didn’t had any breakfast before that so yeah. It was my first time eating nasi ayam bakar and it tastes really good! No wonder H loves it hahaha. Then we sat at the side table and that’s when I actually told him it was a yes. Some of you guys might wonder yes to what, obviously to being his girlfriend. I decided to say yes after 2 days of him awaiting for my answer tho he can roughly guess it. Istg idk how but whatever ya know hahaha my surprise plan failed ofc.

Lastly, we ended it off by meeting each other at our typical lepak place near my house having drinks and talking about how blessed we both feel to have each other. We had like a good 3-4 hours talk before he actually sent me off. It’s cute how he said he wasn’t spending so much time with me earlier when we almost had the whole day to ourselves omg ahahah. All in all, I’m proud of where he is right now but it’s time for him to serve the nation soon!! booooo this means lesser meetups and busier schedules for each other. I just hope all will be good for the both of us.

Wales Comic Con

Thank you to everyone I met this weekend at WCC! It was so great to meet all of you/meet you again! <3 You’re all so lovely and sweet and ahhh! ♥♥♥♥♥

(And sorry for still being so quiet and awkward sometimes...I really need to practice talking English and get more confident about it. :’D)

So, as anyone who talked to me this weekend already knows: I did quite a thing with travel planning. xD (A friend was nice enough to travel along, he wasn’t at the Con though. (he went to Chester and stuff like that instead~) Thanks again for making traveling a lot more fun! <3)

We left Dresden at 23.45 friday night, stayed at the airport for a few hours and arrived in Manchester at about 7.30. I got about 1 hour sleep out of it - mostly because I was too excited to sleep. :’D Anyways, we arrived at the hotel around 9.30, I think, and ran into @elveatas and @little-dhampir-1508. I was so confused about them recognizing me - I wasn’t even in Cosplay yet! xD But I was really happy to meet someone I know, and to know they stayed in the same hotel! :)

After I changed into my Merlin Cosplay I went to WCC and - since this was my lucky day, apparently xD - I found the girls again, as well as @springinstep and @tricksyspirit, and just a bit later there were @narlth and @brolins-merthur and oh my, so many great people! I’m sorry, I don’t know all of your tumblr names! ;///; But it was nice to meet you all, and try to talk to everyone! ♥♥♥♥♥

I then spend most of the morning at the signing area - getting signatures form Rupert, Tom and Alex. And OMG. I was so nervous! And Rupert was so nice, talking to everyone for ages (I was super happy to talk to him too, but omg I about died from nervousness xD) and Tom greeted me with “Colin, you look different” (I just replied “yeah, I’m smaller” or something. I guess it was a considerably good reply? idk XD) and ahhhhh >///< I’m just so happy I got to meet them all! <3

Later that day I was at the Merlin group photo-op. And I’m so glad I decided to buy one after all! >//< I make the stupidest face on the photo, but who cares! :D:D:D

In the afternoon I also ran into @lao-paperman and @marmaladica! It was really great to get to meet you two irl! You’re both so lovely! ♥

And then there was the Q&A. It was so awesome! I didn’t film it, but I saw a lot of other people filming - so hopefully anyone who wasn’t there can watch it soon. Both Saturday’s and Sunday’s Q&A were amazing! And so funny! xD Most of the questions were really good too! :D So thank you to everyone who was brave enough to ask a question (I’d never be that brave, haha xD)

After the Q&A we took a few pictures of out Merlin cosplays (sadly I don’t have one with narlth on it on my phone. I hope you guys will upload some of your pictures too? :D I’d love to see them!)

In the evening we ate dinner together, in a large group of Merlin fans. xD I was getting really tired around that time and left a bit earlier with someone else (omg I just can’t remember your tumblr name, i’m so sorry!! ;////; Can someone tell me her name so I can link it please...?) But anyways: I had a great time at dinner too! <3

All in all it was a great day, and I managed way better on so little sleep than I thought I would! :D

Sunday was just as great! I cosplayed Niska (from humans). I had my suitcase with me the whole time (I had to leave early enough, didn’t want to make a detour to the hotel :’D) but it wasn’t too much of a bother (and everyone was so nice, asking if I needed help, or if I was really fine with dragging the suitcase around ;///; You lovely people! ♥) I used the day to check out the games room and the stands and, of course, to see the Merlin Q&A. We actually got in line like an hour before it started, because it had been so crowded on Saturday, and me being myself I got my laptop out and spend like half of the time writing my acbb story. XD

After the Q&A I sat outside with Lao and Mar and we just chatted until I had to leave. Really, really lovely of you to wait until I left the con! ♥

All in all it was a relaxing day, lot’s of lovely people, and it was just as sunny and warm as Saturday! (Seriously, It was so warm! In April!)

The way home was mostly uneventful. The flight was a bit late, but we caught or bus in Berlin without a problem. :) Oh but I have to say, I was super excited about the Raspbarry Coke they sold at Manchester Airport. I never even heard of it before, and it tasted so good!! <3

In the end I was back at home at 1 in the morning, just as planned. :)

Tl;dr: WCC was great, everyone was so lovely! Ahhhhh! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
