I FINISHED. WOOOHOOOO!!!!

Bro I'm so happy and excited and omgomgomgomg I FINISHED. I never get to finish any of the challenges/prompts/dynamics I participate in time bc always something happens but NOT THIS TIME DARLING I'M UNSTOPPABLE!!!

Actually, I think I like the color version even more than the pencil one??? 'Ello??? Me? Proud of my coloring? tHIS LIFE IS AMAZING WHEN YOU GREET IT WITH OPEN ARMS-

I'd like to eventually do this a proper digital illustration so I can detail more the flowers and fix the water, but I think it looks pretty good??? Like, I'm not a classic painter but the concept is there.

Flowers:

He's holding a White Lily, and has a broken pearl necklace bc of that agerblade's Monty illustration (I'm absolutely obsessed with that one), the little ones around him are Forget-me-not's bc of Edwin's "our deaths didn't matter", they have to matter, there's also Chrysanthemums, who usually symbolize Death, as well as Poppies, that are also symbols of the Greek God Hypnos, personification of Dream and father of Morpheus, so, Sandman Reference with these two, and on the right there are also some Roses and Hyacinths.

I think it looks nice, putting all together and with the same colors and that. I draw the half skeleton half face to complete the last blank space and I really like that one, if there's an Edwin Week I'll do the same mirrored.

Actually I really improved a lot with the coloring, I think I'll use the markers more often. I still don't like the 2 and 3 but I learned from that so it's good, and at the end it doesn't ruin everything as bad as I thought... Maybe. Maybe I'm being too optimistic after 3 hours drawing and editing the pics non-stop.

Eden

Life:

Eden was ostracized from her peers for engaging in masculine behaviour deemed inappropriate for a young lady such as cussing, sitting with her legs spread, being heavily interested in sports, refusing to wear skirts and instead wearing knickerbockers.

Eden was naturally clever and maintained top grades despite seemingly spending all her time outdoors.

Death:

A girl in Edens class named Simone was jealous of her close physical relationship with another girl, she orchestrated the demonic sacrificial ritual that would trap Eden in hell for 70 years until her escape.

Afterlife:

She's a prolific magic user completely self taught, in combat she's the aggressor, she creates openings for Charlie with spells and enchants objects for her to use.

Charli

Life:

Charli was verbally abused by her father growing up and as a result she's a people pleaser and a pushover.

Death:

At school she was picked on for expressing her indian heritage. She died after trying to stand up for a Pakistani girl who was being bullied, she died from hypothermia and Internal bleeding after being pushed in a lake and stoned.

Afterlife:

Charli attacks on Edens command, she uses her cricket bat as a melee weapon that Eden enchants differently for every situation. Charli has an enchanted backpack she keeps full of Edens spell books and her own weapons. She is very physically affectionate with Eden, constantly hanging off her.

3. A character you think is underrated/underappreciated.

Tragic Mick, probably, which I get, he doesn't exactly show up all that much. But when I remember the scene where he's looking for seaglass, it makes my heart clench. He could get some fan lore, I think.

Also I saw someone saying that everyone sleeps on Maxine as the serial killer nerd that usually people love when it's a guy, and honestly, yeah

6. A fanfic rec or fanart rec!

The most recent fics to join my faves are both by @dont-offend-the-bees: Outside Looking In and The Kind of Light That Means Just Love (When My Baby Smiles at Me). They're bittersweet in a way that I feel fits the boys so very, very well.

As for fanarts, I am obsessed with everything @agerblade does (+18 blog), and also @homoquartz and also @technically-human. Just everything.

20. Which characters style do you like the best?

Oooooh. Honestly it's hard to choose. Jenny is what I personally relate to the most, but Niko is amazing and catches my eye everytime. Charles is unique and it makes me crazy how good he can look in a polo and loafers. I guess I'll go with Charles for that.

Uhh, everything I listen to, lmao. No, but really, because of one specific edit, it has to be Digital Silence by Peter McPoland. It's my favorite edit and it encapsulates a lot of things from the show (not just payneland!).
