a long long time ago, around 2019, i created a character called Cairo Night. It was a cat, because i was into Warriors, inspired by my arrowhead necklace with cairo night stone. But then boom, remote lessons from home. I was very bored, so i discovered BFDI and other Object Shows like Inanimate Insanity, Open Source Objects, i think you got what i mean. It pushed me to develop my art, i have a plenty of fanarts and other stuff (even on my kinda troll twitter account, i mean i didn't delete this account because of one great artist: JamyTheJam. Inspiring person. Also if someone is wondering why i said i am pan, that was some time ago i am bi huhuh lol).

And that's how Nighty, my first real object show oc was born.

so, before i discovered BFDI, i found out Ron Zhang, artist creating funny Windows vs Mac vs other things animations (in PowerPoint! ah yes Qwertyxp2000, those were the days!:). And then another boom, Jacob Kitts! Mac vs PC forever in my heart, still waiting to see what you want to create! if you want, of course. Just know i love your work.

All mentioned artists inspired me to create PvO. It is one of my dreams to create that and not get censored for anything or thrown on yt kid$. But i also want to create what i my creativity would like to surprise me. Ah, it's more the lack of motivation and now the time that has made me do something about it only now... it's better than nothing.

(wait, should i mention there that i love old Terminator? nah, maybe it's too digressive)

Later, when i was in my second year of high school, i discovered Half Life series. Fantastic piece of art. And then... Team Fortress 2. Game that pulled me out of a difficult mental situation by analyzing the plot and other things (it's cool okay, also go check 7th part yoo). In the meantime, i fell in love with SFM, yes this spaghetti code animation program... My another dream is to create my own animation for song Money by Jon & Vangelis. YES INSPIRED BY THAT GREAT EXISTING ANIMATION, BUT I HAVE AN IDEA FROM VIBING TO THIS SONG FOR ANOTHER, MY OWN, AH. And Deus Ex from 2000, retro games enjoyer mode on.

okay, coming back to the topic.

a lot happens in my life. One friend fell in love with me, with other friend i had to end the relationship quite sharply because she was a toxic person, as it turned out after so many years... what a shame. And if it wasn't for my interference, she wouldn't have met and wouldn't have been with her "boyfriend"... i'm worried about him, that something will happen to him by her behavior, but he should be able to handle it. I don't want to explain anything more about this "former, not nice friend", i shattered this gemory, but i can conclude this finished thread with these words:

But also past shaped me, so i am now a person who extremely doesn't trust others much. That's why i fell in love (again not human lol) with Hitman games series. Agent 47 is my comfort character, no matter how strange it may sound. I know he is a technically improved clone of man made as killing machine, now in WoA is like 60-70years old and is not John Wick. And i must point out, Hitman Blood Money and newest World of Assassination trilogy are definitely my favorite. About Absolution, it's generally a very good game with nice graphics, but this out-of-character 47 ah pain is... bad. It's not a good Hitman series game, but i enjoy playing Absolution and i reccomend, BUT NOT AS THE FIRST HITMAN GAME, NOOO. Try demo of WoA ;D

dang, Agent 47 has an intriguing psychological portrait. It's my knowledge of just official games series, excluding the most of Absolution's plot and of course completely excluding those two movies. Man, did the directors even play BM, old Hitman 2 or other classics that were current at that time? i still dream of making movie from few BM missions (to use Vegas soundtrack by Jesper Kyd ahh i adore this OST)... but maybe i should keep my "Bieszczady/Warszawa mission" heh (maybe i would like to share of my concepts... maybe.)

i bought my deluxe ver of WoA on "weekend sale" on steam, it was worth my around 500PLN and on quick sale it was 200PLN... i have never come back from university so quickly to top up my Steam account in the store. Completely worth it, even i have potato laptop for this game and almost everything on the lowest settings lmao.

and now, after this very shorten and incomplete story of my life from the end of 2019, i decided to go back to my PvO project because of this video.

these were supposed to be animations in polish lang (with eng subtitles ofc) called "Łindołsy" what is a double plural of windows with completely grotesque changing w to ł, it is read the same as in english like in words "where/what". We will pronounce it "łere/łat", i... okay, series called Panterus The Translator was also my idea to make funny translations and to enlighten that "pies" mean in polish "dog", or "Handschuhe" mean from german literally "shoes for hand", what are gloves of course.

i am a weirdo from 2005, now studying nursing and dreaming of become surgical nurse. I have some... predispositions. I am not afraid of blood (nah, i even like it- wait what are some people in suits doing in my room? men, calm calm i'm not gonna look into this light! no no i am not cooperating with aliens!!). I have two little monkeys called younger brothers, so i understand something about siblings. I am kinda biochemistry nerd, now into mentioned Hitman series. I have almost always been a tomboy girl, now i see it evolved into this "elegant business woman with shirt and crease trousers and suede oxford shoes ohh and dark waistcoat yess and leather gloves ahhh and dark autumn coat obviously, eventually a nice gray or red tie and for exchange for waistcoat can be black suspenders". My other side, because i have two sides is tactical testicle any turtleneck, good pants with a lot of pockets ready to rolling in the forest, nice natural leather shoes that are both elegant and no mud will ever destroy them, fingerless gloves with knuckle protectors, sum cool sunglasses cover on my prescription glasses, sum knee pads and my airsoft colt m1911 (+ water guns i have, and funny toy guns). Those two sides fight in me with my retro addiction to CRT TVs and making my own weirdcore tv head from eva foam, inspired by RGB from The Property of Hate... (i am trying to help with polish translation of this comic, i invite you there.)

of course it developed and she's now Panterus, or rather Panti, maybe i would do a "human version" of her but... ehh, this is only one furry-looking character i got, not counting her sewn-grandma... i never liked drawing human heads. Same as Egyptians with their gods. Trust me, i am mostly sarcastic but this time i am honest, i am not furry. And i am not saying furries are bad, man, think a bit and i don't throw everyone into one bag that all are bad. Man, if you're thinking like that get out, it's my place for thinking people, wanting to develop intellectually or laugh to relieve stress, idk.

Is aware of his surroundings: Because of his career as a special agent, Bell conceals himself in terms of his personal life in seclusion. Even knowing he's hunted everywhere, he intelligently makes himself invisible from the outside world which makes others difficult for him to locate or recognise.

Works in solitude: Vasili/Bell has always prefered to work alone, but it doesn't mean he doesn't mind going on missions with the team. But, as his habit of being a special agent, that trait normally came from him back in his days when he worked with the KGB.

Observant and intelligent: Vasili was able to survive any sort of situation because of his good observant skills, and his capacity to act quicker. He was able to learn a lot of languages as well, and posed himself in different identities, that made it harder for the intelligence agencies to track him down.

Is reserved and introverted: Bell really doesn't speak to anyone much, unless when it comes to planning or going for missions, he needs to form a sort of communication to keep it lively. He is seen being more comfortable with Mason and Woods, but never felt having a good vibe with Adler. It was odd on his part, but it was going to grow very obvious when the truth would have come closer to any minute.

BACKGROUND STORY

Bell, who first used to live under the identity of Vasili Sokolov, was born in a family who had an army background, where his mother and father, both served during the Second World War, and hearing their stories, it gave Vasili a motivation to support his parents legacy by joining the intelligence — which was the KGB, going under the codename "Crow".

THE KGB ARC [REDACTED]

When Vasili joined the organisation, he showed a remarkable performance as a special agent. Some say he was born to join the intelligence and make the country proud, or he was a gifted child who could learn anything quickly and successfully perform a mission by stealing info or destroying any plans that could harm his country, without any failure. He even pointed out possible mistakes while planning out a mission, and in the end they worked out efficiently. Alongside, he made himself a friend, whose name was Dimitri Belikov, and grew closer to each other and worked together as a team.

Sooner or later, Vasili's influence spread all around the world, especially during the Cold War, the enemies of the Soviet Union had a kill/capture on him. "Kill" because Vasili knew too much about them, and "Capture" because, they wanted him to tell everything he has with him, which likely created a risk for the KGB and they couldn't do so. With that, General Anton Charkov gave him the order to "retire" and stay hidden to protect himself along with the organisation. Disappointed, Vasili protested that it was the only thing that "kept him going", but having no choice, the agent decided to leave the KGB, under the General's orders.

PERSEUS ARC [REDACTED]

It was a matter of time, when one was going to collect him instead, realising he was now no longer affiliated with the KGB. Vasili was met with someone who called himself "Perseus", and requested him to join his alliance, since he knew about Vasili from his influence, and promised to give him full security, knowing he was hunted worldwide too. Seeing that as an opportunity, Vasili agreed to join in good terms, directly becoming Perseus's loyal agent.

As he continued his journey in the faction, he had shown his skills again which made Perseus as his most trusted agent, unlike the rest. But, at times Vasili has shown inner conflict towards his ideas. During the moment when he was explained about "Operation Greenlight" with the members, it left a strange feeling within his heart. He tried to protest, but he somehow couldn't refute his superior's words, and decided to acknowledge instead. Vasili had kept showing a remarkable performance, much to Arash Kadivar, one of the faction members, being envious of his relationship with Perseus.

Kadivar lures him to Trabzon Airport, where he takes Vasili, and explains that he didn't want any more "competition", resulting in him shooting the special agent in the car he was present in, leaving him to die and bleed alone. But, sooner or later, an attack situated on the airfield, unbeknownst to the dying Vasili who was growing unconscious every passing minute. Growing lost in his own thoughts, about Perseus that promised him to give him protection from the outer forces, but didn't recognise that his "own" people were against him too, as he questioned his existence at the same time.

THE SAFEHOUSE ARC — "BELL" ARC

The voices echoed, and the man started to lose his breath.. until he woke up, and found himself in a strange place, where he couldn't remember anything of what happened. This is where, he encounters Russell Adler, a CIA agent who he curiously looks upon, having no idea. Unable to introduce himself, Adler briefed him about his name, being it under the codename "Bell". And this is where, all the very events of the canon game begin from here.

🌰: What’s something you are working to get better at?

I'd like to get better about tone and point of view-- I know I tend to move around in my points of view, even when I'm writing in third person, I can never seem to land on limited vs omniscient. I also need to reign my tenses in a bit more.

And in the wise guidance of ms le Guin, I'm trying to craft my own "voice" more in writing.

And editing. I like to write and post. This is maybe not a wonderful habit. Sitting on things and editing several times is always beneficial. And yet.

🫖: If you had a tea party with your blorbos you write the most, how would it go?

Well uh. Great question. According to AO3, my most written characters are Jesse, Dylan (even amounts) and Arish. Dylan definitely has the highest wordcount. If you knock the Control options out, the next highest characters on that list are Agent 47 and Lucas Grey.

Which. Arish would probably be well behaved and barely helping me hold that party together. 47 would probably somehow figure out how to get out of it politely. Lucas would be perfectly polite but get into an argument with someone inevitably I think. Jesse would be trying to make sure Dylan was fine and feeling a bit out of place and both are probably eating all of the sandwiches and the finger food, which is fair, because same.

I would be trying very hard to make sure everyone's comfortable and probably only really succeeding by providing more food and tea, maybe. Lucas and Dylan could talk about being bald kids designated with the number 6 made to do wild things. Jesse and Lucas could connect about being siblings hunting for their lost brother. Dylan and 47 could connect on being weird bald brothers.

Does any of this surprise you? Mostly no. I am pleased to see that my M-rated fics are now tied with my G and T ones. The brothers basked in the afternoon warmth as the lake shimmered under the sun. Two ducks waddled to the shore and shook the water from their feathers, eager to join the rest of their hungry flock near the bench. 47 tossed more grapes to his new friends before resting the bowl in his lap. 

“So, Agent 47…the world’s deadliest flamingo—I mean, assassin.” 

Grey peered at 47 to gauge his reaction. He briefly closed his eyes and shook his head, the classic sign of one’s internal sigh. Grey chuckled. 

“Diana?” 47 asked, hazarding a guess. 

“No, though I’m sure she has a great deal to say about your unusual exploits,” he grinned. “Olivia found a press photo of your mascot stunt in Miami.”

47 grimaced as he recalled the pink costume he used to pursue Sierra Knox. The flamingo suit had been quite itchy and unbearably hot, which only got worse the longer he wore it in the balmy Florida heat. It wasn’t one of his finer moments, but it had given Diana a good laugh (and, apparently, Grey and Olivia as well).

“Perhaps that’s why these ducks are so friendly towards you,” Grey continued. “Birds of a feather, as they say.”

47 smiled as a chorus of quacks rose around them, ready for more treats. He offered Grey the bowl as the ducks moved in expectantly. Grey took a handful of sliced grapes and tossed them carefully amongst the feathered crowd before taking two pieces for himself. He hummed in approval at their taste.

“These are delicious,” he said, reaching for more as a duck waddled closer to the bench. “It’s no wonder why they like them so much. You grew these yourself?”

“Yes, they’re from my garden,” 47 confirmed with pride.

Grey looked towards the impressive residence behind them and smiled fondly. 

“You’ve done well for yourself here, 47. This is a fine home.”

47’s breath hitched as a cool breeze blew in from the lake. He placed the grape bowl back in his lap, the ceramic feeling heavier than it seemed earlier when it was full. He stared ahead at the shimmering water as he fought to keep his voice firm.

“Thank you,” he murmured. “I wish you were here to see it.”

47 felt a hand clasp his shoulder in comfort.

“I know,” Grey said quietly. “I wish I could.”

“It feels wrong to enjoy this freedom when you never got that chance.”

“There’s no need for survivor’s guilt,” his brother said firmly.

47 stayed silent. The bowl was suddenly empty of grapes despite its hefty weight on his thighs. His feathered friends were gone, their quacks growing distant after having retreated back into the lake.

Grey squeezed the hand on his shoulder, encouraging 47 to face him. He clenched his fist and looked away from the lonely scenery to Grey’s serious expression.

“It’s fine to visit your memories, but…please don’t keep yourself in the past. Enjoy the present you’ve earned and the love that’s waiting for you there. You deserve to be happy.”

47 blinked as hot tears prickled his eyes. He rested his hand over Grey’s and squeezed as the sunlight began to saturate everything around them, his dream signaling its end. Grey smiled warmly, his final words echoing as the world faded into the light.

“You deserve a good life, 47.”

47 slowly awoke from his deep slumber. He found himself in the peaceful morning quiet of their bedroom, his companion snuggled cozily against him under the sheets. He felt the soothing warmth of her hand upon his face as she stroked his cheek, causing a sigh to escape from his lips. She lifted her head off his chest to look up at him as he stirred.

“47?” Diana asked softly.

He must have been speaking in his sleep again, he realized. An occasional side effect of the antidote Grey had administered so long ago. He inhaled deeply to center himself before he met her loving gaze, grateful for the reality that awaited his wounded heart.

“Are you alright?”

47 pulled Diana closer and kissed her deeply in response. He rested his hand upon hers, pulling away slightly from her lips to rest their foreheads against each other.

“I am now.”

Léon: The Professional is a huge source of inspiration for the relationship between Mikhail and Valeriya

Of course, so is Hitman: Agent 47. Katia's character is the foundation for Val's personality.

Granted, Val was older when Mikhail found her, but that dynamic between Léon and Matilda still fits them. Val was raised by an uncaring system and forced to grow up too quick, and so finding herself in a place of comfort (like she was with Lucas) would really bring out that sense of lost childhood. That, and it would give her more incentive/drive to impress him. To make him proud of her, because she has never had that from someone (again, aside from Lucas).

And Mikhail, being as established and experienced as he is, would easily fill that paternal role within her life. He would be able to mold her into whatever he wanted, really. But, he's also smart. He knew that playing into her own strengths would not only make the process easier, but would also give her further comfort (rather than forcing her into a role she didn't want to play). That's why she was so successful in training her to become that cold-blooded assassin she is today. He played into her heavily-developed survival drive and let her hone in on those skills she picked up caring for herself and with Lucas.

I just think they're neat 😌

I totally agree! I definitely see Grey as more of a sledgehammer, but more in the purposeful destruction sense than just a random smash of chaos. He's calculated but he keeps it personal because it is so personal for him, and that makes him as dangerous as 47 in my opinion.

It would have been very interesting to see this the other way around lead-character-wise, but I also like how we're introduced to Lucas in canon. He's a passionate molotov tossed into a chaotic world that's clinging to an old order--while I would love to see him and Olivia interact in a mission as agent and handler, I don't think either of them would feel comfortable staying at an agency like the ICA for long. (Or at least, not long enough before burning it down.)

If Grey was the Hitman...

I wondered what would have been different if Grey had dispensed with 47's help and done the work on his own. I guess we can all agree that both Grey and 47 have the same extraordinary skills and that they are both capable of being a Silent Assassin and a head-through-the-wall type. And we know 47 prefers to be the Silent Assassin. But what does Grey prefer?

I think he's a perfect strategist who leaves nothing to chance. But Grey has a certain brutality about him because, unlike 47, the whole thing is very personal for him. He hasn't had the dubious "luck" to forget the years of his difficult childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. He had to live for decades with all the guilt and everything that was done to him. That's why I think his approach would be much more brutal and there would be more fights and more action with him. He is more of a sledgehammer, while 47 is more of a knife.

With a target that has a personal background to him like Janus, he doesn't wear a disguise because he wants these people to see who he is. It's important to him to have this idea, as we also saw in Dubai. He only wears disguises when necessary and carries out his mission as precisely and quietly as his brother (as in Moscow with Kamarov, for example).

And that makes me think if he has a handler, like 47 has Diana and I am quite sure that Olivia helps him on difficult missions. We have seen them having contact in Colorado and when Grey was in Romania and she helped him to get into the Ether HQ. I also think that she helped him infiltrating the FSB. But I'm sure their dynamic is different than Diana's and 47's. I think Grey talks to Olivia more often during his missions and that she sometimes makes some less helpful but mocking comments. I think that's the way they act together, more like father and daughter and not like handler and agent. And that's fine, they do it their way.

What do you think? What would have Grey done differently? Or are there no differences?

What makes Double Birds rare?

When I wrote that, I only had my *own* data to work from, and was not ... super good at spotting Double Birds. Now that I've got everyone's data, I can say that Double Birds are actually very middle-of-the-pack. Easily the most common fictional Bird primary sorting. (Don't have enough *real* people data to say much about what's common/rare in real life.) That makes perfect sense: Double Bird is a great Mentor sorting, and a really great Weird Villain sorting. So it gets a lot of play.

If anyone's interested at how the rest of them shake out, as of 2.4.22:

COMMON

DOUBLE LION (The Revolutionary) - 73 (Actually I'm surprised that this one gets the top spot. I guess, if absolutely nothing else, these guys Make Plots Happen. The hero sorting if you're worried that Badger Lion is too obvious or boring?)

SNAKE LION (The Lancelot) - 69 (Very easy to write, very versatile. Also, an easy way to get some conflict going. Give that Snake primary a loyalist choice to make... and that Lion secondary is going make sure they do something dramatic.)

DOUBLE SNAKE (The Trickster) - 65 (The fun villian, the agent of chaos, who doesn't love a Double Snake? Another way to just Start Conflict)

SNAKE BIRD (The Villain/Mastermind) - 59 (standard villain sorting)

SNAKE BADGER (The Lover) - 48 (standard love interest sorting)

DOUBLE BADGER (The Peacemaker) - 46 (Useful support character, pretty easy to write - but think this subconsciously feels like an old fashioned sorting to some people?)

LION SNAKE (The Robin Hood) - 41 (Kind of anti-hero character, or the hero's snarky best friend)

LION BADGER (The Linchpin) - 38 (Very similar to the Double Badger - because chances are decent that these guys will have a lion primary that spends a lot of time looking like a badger primary)

BADGER BIRD (The King/The Mob Boss) - 33 (a really versatile sorting, I'll say that. And people seem to either love 'em or hate 'em)

LION BIRD (The Lawman/Vigilante) - 32 (we're starting to get into character types that you only really need for specific types of stories)

BIRD LION (The Grail Knight) - 31 (Look, bird primaries are the hardest to write, and you need to spend some quality time with a character before the Bird primary is obviously a *Bird* primary, and not one of the others. If we're not writing about the data-gathering Bird secondary, actually laying down the building blocks of a primary - they can be hard to write, and harder to spot.)

BIRD BADGER (The Survivor) - 26 (^ that Bird primary thing again)

BADGER SNAKE (The Counselor) - 24 (There's a contradiction at the heart of this sorting that makes them really interesting, rewarding, but challenging to write about. Because we're talking about someone who's worth, value, and purpose come from the community, but is comfortable manipulating the community in order to help them.)

BIRD SNAKE (The Artist) - 18 (You need to be a *good* writer to write one of these and end up with a character that even makes sense)

When your tears are spent

On your last pretense

And your tired eyes refuse to close

And sleep in your defense

You didn’t let yourself cry until you were alone, Ron knew that much, so when he saw you disappear into the stillness of the frigid Bastogne night, he knew exactly where you were headed. 

The days of ruthless shelling by the Germans had felled several trees in the nearby area, splintering them to bits…all except one, which lay across the snow a good 8-10 feet away from the rows of foxholes, tucked away behind a steep embankment, away from view. 

It was the perfect place to seek refuge for a brief second and as the company’s only combat nurse, God, did you need it. Try as he might, Doc Roe couldn’t be everywhere at once and that was where you came in. 

From your first day with Easy, you’d made it your mission to get to know every single trooper so that even in the heat of battle, when someone screamed “Medic!”, you could recognize their voice in an instant and get there. You would talk to them as you treated them, about anything they wanted: their families, their hometowns, sports teams, films, whatever they needed to keep them focused and awake. These men were trusting you with their lives and you would not let them down. You were friendly, hardworking, and dedicated to your field and your company; you never let gunfire or explosions hinder you. If you were needed, you were there. 

It was your warm and selfless nature that had first caught the eye of the infamous Ronald Speirs. You captivated him. How could someone so generous, so full of life, be here, in a place like this? You were an angel trapped in Hell but it didn't dim your shine, not even for a moment. You would give the shirt off your back to anyone who needed it, always the first to lend a hand and the last to quit at the day's end. 

Your vitality and generosity meant that you made friends easily, something that the withdrawn and mysterious Ron so envied. Like a magnet, people just gravitated towards you, happy to bask in your energetic glow, and Ron would watch quietly from the sidelines with a goofy smile on his face like a smitten schoolboy. You were like human sunshine, a balm to his hardened & war-torn soul.

And the only thing you want is just to

But Bastogne…Bastogne was a whole different beast, even for someone as dynamic and exuberant as you. The conditions were abysmal, supplies almost nonexistent, and tensions running sky-high. 

 Most of the men you treated were lovely and appreciative of your care, but some… some weren’t. 

You'd first heard the mutterings after the deaths of two Replacements. One had been shot by a sniper that no one had spotted in time and the other had taken the brunt of a particularly nasty firefight. Campbell and Ulrich were both good kids and in both cases, you had done your best with what little you had but it just wasn’t enough. The wounds were too severe and you didn't have the equipment needed to perform a surgery that risky nor could you do it by yourself, on the battlefield of all places. All you could do was kneel beside them, hands bathed in blood, and whisper broken apologies for not being able to do more as they passed.

Eugene, all too familiar with this sort of loss, told you that you needed to forgive yourself. 

“There was nothin’ more you coulda done for 'em, cher,” he said as he handed you half of a bandage he'd scavenged. 

But in your heart, you just couldn’t believe that and neither could some of the boys.

Favourite time of year: I would have to say autumn as it’s a nice break from the usual hot summer here but not cold enough yet for lots of blankets. And it doesn’t have the pollen of spring to worry about 😂

Comfort food: It would have to be Tonkostu ramen with extra pork belly. But it has to from a proper ramen booth/restaurant as it’s always the best from there.

Do you collect something?: I used to collect Lion King stuff but now it’s just books. I collect (hoard) books.

Favourite drink: A large green peach iced tea with lychee jelly from a bubble tea/boba shop. And my favourite alcoholic drink (though I rarely drink) is a Fruit Tingle.
