🌰: What’s something you are working to get better at?

I'd like to get better about tone and point of view-- I know I tend to move around in my points of view, even when I'm writing in third person, I can never seem to land on limited vs omniscient. I also need to reign my tenses in a bit more.

And in the wise guidance of ms le Guin, I'm trying to craft my own "voice" more in writing.

And editing. I like to write and post. This is maybe not a wonderful habit. Sitting on things and editing several times is always beneficial. And yet.

🫖: If you had a tea party with your blorbos you write the most, how would it go?

Well uh. Great question. According to AO3, my most written characters are Jesse, Dylan (even amounts) and Arish. Dylan definitely has the highest wordcount. If you knock the Control options out, the next highest characters on that list are Agent 47 and Lucas Grey.

Which. Arish would probably be well behaved and barely helping me hold that party together. 47 would probably somehow figure out how to get out of it politely. Lucas would be perfectly polite but get into an argument with someone inevitably I think. Jesse would be trying to make sure Dylan was fine and feeling a bit out of place and both are probably eating all of the sandwiches and the finger food, which is fair, because same.

I would be trying very hard to make sure everyone's comfortable and probably only really succeeding by providing more food and tea, maybe. Lucas and Dylan could talk about being bald kids designated with the number 6 made to do wild things. Jesse and Lucas could connect about being siblings hunting for their lost brother. Dylan and 47 could connect on being weird bald brothers.
