Mission Report: May 27, 20XX

Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne, Robin

Mission Completed: Young Justice Mission XXX

TW: Gender-swappage and references to not feeling comfortable in your body and speculations on how gender dysphoria feels. Stay safe. 

Summary: We went on our first date today, it was great! Until we got hit by a gender-altering ray. That was… not so great. I never wondered what it would feel like to have boobs. Spoiler– I didn’t like it, like at all . 

Notes: Today I discovered Bart is agender and uses any pronouns, but for the sake of these mission reports I’m going to use they/them because they’re fun to write and I think they’re neat. Bart does prefer to be called my boyfriend, so I’ll still be doing that. 

Notes For B: I am 100% sure that I am not trans. On a separate note: How the fuck fo trans people deal with that ewwy gross feeling all the time? I wanted to tear my own chest off, it was horrible . 

Report: I went out with my boyfriends in Central today on a date. We were all in costume in order to keep my identity under wraps since, as you know, Kon does not understand the concept of a secret identity. Obviously, Tim Drake can’t be seen with him, that would be about the equivalent of wearing a sign on my chest that says “I’m Robin” or changing my hero name to Drake. So, of course, some villain sees three heroes sitting in a diner all snuggled together and thinks, oh, you know what this heroes could want? Their date ruined by me. 

Now, don’t get me wrong, Central City’s rogues are dumb idiots, but they’re also super annoying when they want to be, and give Trickster and gender-changing ray and things get really messy really fast. Anyway, we tried to fight him, but the guy managed three lucky shots, and me, Kon, and Bart were suddenly all in female bodies.

Boobs. Are. Awful. I plan to tell Steph that I am sorry she has to endure this constant torture next time I see her. For one thing, they bounce around when you’re trying to run and they get in the way. Also, like, they’re really sensitive in the worst way? 

Bart was able to take out Trickster without an issue. Sure, they said the boobs were weird , but they thought it was pretty cool. They even bounced them around a couple times and giggled. Meanwhile, Kon and I stood across from them, arms crossed across our chests trying to make them as flat as possible and failing spectacularly. I hated every second of it. 

Luckily for mine and Kon’s sanity, Bart was able to steal the gun from trickster and shoot up back into our normal bodies. I felt so relieved. So, so relieved. I can deal with dressing it drag, but real boobs and no dick? No thank you. I never want to do that again. 

Bart kept the gun because they thought it would be fun to be able to change their body as will. They also kept their boobs for the rest of the date. I liked their long brown hair in their girl form, it was fun to play with.

mildy concerned that you’re muttering under your breath swearing vengeance at the universe for giving you a period (apparently the uterus thing is fine but the period thing isn’t?)

Eventually asks what’s wrong and when you tell him that everything hurts, he’s very much going ooh and calling up babs to ask for some help with managing your pain. Once that’s happened he takes you to his room because his mattress is heated and wraps himself around you for a nap

Jason Todd

He’s surprised with the viciousness of your throat and then pissed when he realizes that you have his favorite hoodie

you have to give him all the puppy eyes in the world to convince him that you need it and it smells like him and that makes it safe.

He understands better then a lot of people because his working girls complain to him when they see him.

helps your make even more creative threats because it’s funny to watch the horror on dick’s face when he hears them.

Cassandra Cain

“I’m going to rip out my uterus and feed it to the ground”

Dies laughing to herself at the absolute violence you threaten yourself with too make the pain stop then scolds you for threatening to hurt yourself

you explain to her that you aren’t actually going to hurt yourself and that you’re just in pain and severely dysphoric.

To combat this, Cass calls you brother (well signs it aggressively) while she cuddles with you in Dick’s bed (it’s the best bed okay!)

Tim Drake

“I hate my everyone and everything”

Finds you crying, and swearing at your body in front of the mirror. Immediately goes into damage control mode, bundling you away from the mirror and calling bart, because Bart’’s also trans and ergo he might know how to help with your freak out.

Bart has to stop Tim from freaking out and very patiently explains to him that sometimes bouts of dysphoria happen and there is nothing that anyone can do about them. Tim ends up asking again if you want to start t and when you say no, he just sits with you on the ground while you come back to yourself

Duke Thomas

“Fuck these motherfucking cramps,”

As the only other trans person in the manor (though Duke is agender to your transmasc) you feel a special kind of bond with him. He makes you feel comfortable and safe when your skin is itchy and all you want to do is explode

Laughs at you swearing at your cramps, and offers you some aleve and a heat pad. The two of you watch an anime together and argue about ship wars. It’s great!

Damian Al-Ghul Wayne

“I am going to rip out the universe’s entrails and give them to damian as a gift”*

Thinks that it’s perfectly reasonable to be angry at your body for failing you.

Makes you spar to get all of the anger that lives inside of you out. It’s very funny to watch the two of you. scream in different languages as you attempt to beat dummies into a pulp

He of everyone understands that it’s hard to keep control of anger and keeps you start to notice when your hold on it is fraying

I kinda see the Tim and Percy similarities except......not really lmao.They've got as much in common as the average DC and Pjo characters do,not enough to be parallels/counterparts and i know damn well over half the comparisons come from equating Timsteph to Perc*beth(ew).Percy is basically Tim's older sister,mb you don't wanna admit Percy is written as a transfem girl or know how to actually read Tim's comics

Things that I personally like to believe about Tim Drake because of maybe projection.

He listens to IDKhow because their songs are the sort of villainous vibe he slightly exudes whenever he's slightly desperate for survival, mental décline due to situational horrors, or just general unhinged feralness.

He either has no concept about gender norms and so he dresses in many ways (drag, fem-presenting, masc-presenting, the likes and the other yk) or he does but gives no ducks and instead dresses however he wants cause he deserves it.

He is queer, like not any specific sexuality except for his bisexuality but he is also queer in the gender department ( be it genderfluid, agender or nonbinary, trans, any of these are great in my book, kinda want more genderfluid Tim fics tbh)

His parents actually took him on their trips after the whole circus The-Flying-Graysons-death which is very traumatic for an adult so of course those two did not let go of him until one time when he was nine and figured out the Batclan identities and have, infact begged of them to stay so he can have easier access to Gotham news

His fav Robin in general is Dick, his fav Robin who operated during his stay in Gotham was Jason cause of the Robin Magic™ and cause of his cheery and loving nature towards Gotham of which he shared, no I will not go back on this

Animals love him and any time a villain has animals in their plans, after they're defeated the animals let him pet them, or any general animal in his vicinity tbh; this includes but not limited to: Dex-Starr, Teekl, those mutated big cats that Catman from BTAS had that now live with him in the Monarch Theater,,, general dangerous animals tbh I want him to have the vibes of a villain who owns dangerous beasts but they're honest to god are just pampered pets who are given anything they want

Him and Damian actually do get along when it comes to the same goal and being general menaces and annoyances, they both realize that if they enable each other they will in fact somehow take over the world and that is too much of an annoyance and time filling schedule that their hyperfixation would have not been in and that could not be allowed

He can cook decently well but doesn't be it due to exhaustion, pain, laziness, or cause his fav person offered him food and he loves them so ofc he's accept, the YJ team both current and retired are those who he majorly cooks for, as well as Damian if they're together, sometimes when Bernard is tired he'd cook for him

The reason Bernard cooks most of the time is cause of mutual love between them, like Bernard adores both cooking for Tim and the loving gaze Tim gives him whenever he cooks for him; Tim on the other hand adores Bernard whenever he cooks something cause he'd do the tiniest specific things like sticking his tongue out when plating, tapping his feet in a rythm or his fingers on the cooking utensils that are nearest to him, he finds it charming the way his shoulders would bop as if he's listening to a catchy tune,, many lovey feelings on both sides really.

He looks the most as his mother, his grandmother (Janet's side) than his dad, but sometimes when he looks loving his face turns in a way that is a lovely mix of Jack's and Janet's loving smiles that they used to give each other and most importantly, Tim

Whenever his birthday rolled around and his parents would be unable to come back to Gotham, they would buy him pillows, blankets, and stuffed extinct animals that they'd cuddle for a while and warm so he'd at least get a tiny bit of their unofficial-official 'Drake-Birthday-Cuddlepile!' that they did ever since his fourth birthday after Haley's Circus.

He has abandonment issues thanks to his parents unintentional negligence alongside many emotional and mental issues despite them loving him to hell and back, they're bad parents in the 'physically present' department but they didn't physically lay a hand on Tim cause they were trying to break generatonal abuse and trauma cycles but have infact didn't cause they emotionally abused him and they didn't realize cause their abuse was physical and they thought there was a difference. No Janet and Jack, abuse is abuse even if emotional y'all really fucked up a child.

Mrs.Mac was this random lady they found on their trips that babysat Tim one (1) time, and then hired her and took her with cause tiny Tim adored her and they thought she was fun cause she kept up with their archeology facts especially the medical sort of archeology

Batfam gender HC

I have only watched like various animated batfam related stories. this is simply osmosis before i try reading the comics.

Bruce Wayne/Batman- Demi man. personally from what I understand is that the various traumas made it hard to connect to "Normal" manhood so its a disconnect thing. Jason told him about it.

Kate Kane/ Batwoman-Genderqueer. Ok so its more like I think she saw butch lesbians and Femme lesbians and was like this shit rocks. And it just queered her gender. Also again trauma and the disconnect from "Normal" womanhood. Again Jason.

Dick Grayson/ Nightwing- Trans fem/ G♡rl. Dick realized because Jason was telling him about trans history. I think a xenogender would work for him as well but thats later and duke was the one who introduce her to them.

Jason Todd/Red Hood- Bigender/gender queer/Libragender. I think he just hung around many queer people when he was younger and then he died and as an adult he stills hangs around. He figuered genderqueer young but bigender and libragender was after his death.

Tim Drake- Agender/agender girl. Duke old him about Agender and Tim just went that fits and just never thought about it again. Steph told him about agender girl and he did the same thing.

Stephanie Brown/Spoiler- Genderfaunet/Nonbinary. I'm like 90% sure she was going thru various gender wikis found this and proceed to have a crisis. She told Cass first and then Jason. They took her to a trans support group.

Cassandra Cain/Black Bat- Trans masc. Just has all the masc genders. I think she found it out because of Bruce. I think he was trying to do a pride thing for Wayne enterprises and was hearing from the union and Cass was there and came out at the same time.

Duke Thomas- Boyflux/Sungender/Autigender. Pretty sure he learned this while trying to not die by the riddler. His parents dint get it much but they supported. Although hes well aware they had no idea what they were doing. He still appreciates how they tried.

Damian Wayne/Robin-Genderfluid/genderhorder. He remembers the first time he said something not cis and how Talia told him he could be anything. She was the first person she told about her being genderfluid. Damian told Dick 2nd. Damian told everyone eventually. Their first pride they attended was one full of love.
