I feel like the kunichuu shippers would like to know that I do have an AU where Kunikida and Chuuya not only live together, but also own a dog. They did not plan to keep the dog but this little shih tzu named Mochi is now a permanent addition to the household.

skk au where everything is the same except Chuuya and Dazai have literal red string of fate tied to their pinkies. It appears when Chuuya kicked Dazai down in Suribachi. No one else can see the string. They've tried to untie it, cut it, burn it, rip it, bomb it- but to no avail. There's no limit to the length of the string. No matter how far they go, they're always tied to each other.

Bsd high school au except they’re still in their respective organizations and trying to pretend they’re normal kids.
Except like I cheat and just scale everyone’s ages back 3 years.
Dazai and Chuuya being the 18 yr old seniors who do NOT want to be there (except like Mori managed to trick them into thinking going to school was a contest and neither of them want to lose to the other)
The pta is like mori Fukuchi and fucking Verlaine and they’re all bitchy abt it bc they think the others are wrong. And then it cuts to Fukuzawa who just wants them to please stfu for once, this is why half of their kids are failing.
Parent teacher conferences are hell, he just wanted to open a school for kids who need the support and these grown ass men act like children
Fukuchi shows up in his missile to pick Tachihara (15 and done with his shit) and Teruko (8 and very excited abt the ensuing chaos) up from school for their doctor’s appointments every month. Nobody wants to question him tho bc he’s famous. Tachihara once said he would rather walk then be seen leaving school with Fukuchi. And he walked.
Teruko loves it tho bc her dad is the coolest actually and everyone has to know abt it.
The Akutagawas hang out with Chuuya and some of his friends who are alive bc shit be different in this au. And Higuchi somehow accidentally ends up as part of their group (they are the mafia and she somehow has no idea).
Some businessman (Fitzgerald) buys the lot nearby and keeps trying to convince everyone to be friends with his kids (Mark, Louisa, Lucy, and Steinback). They’re not like actually his kids, but their parents work for him and moved to Japan to help with construction, so ofc he has to make sure they have friends.
Idk people pls add more bc I think it’s silly and has so much potential for silliness!

It's MY Body - Chuuya Nakahara x F!reader
Soulmate AU
When Chuuya Nakahara and Y/N, a member of the Armed Detective Agency, wake up in each other's bodies, they are shocked to discover they are soulmates. Navigating their opposing affiliations, they must find a way to reconcile their feelings and work together.

Tumblr media
The morning sun streamed through the window, casting golden hues across the room as Y/N stirred awake. She blinked groggily, feeling unusually heavy and disoriented. The bed beneath her felt foreign, the room unfamiliar. Panic surged through her veins as she bolted upright, her breath hitching. She looked down at her hands—hands that were calloused and larger than her own. She was feeling stronger, more agile, and surrounded by the masculine elegance of Chuuya's apartment, though she didn't know it was his quite yet. His hat was perched on a stand by the door, his coat neatly hung, and the lingering scent of his cologne enveloped her. She walked to the mirror, her reflection showing Chuuya's piercing blue eyes and signature red hair.
“What the hell?” she muttered, her voice deep and commanding. Familiar.
Meanwhile, across town, Chuuya Nakahara awoke in a similar state of confusion, in a world entirely foreign. He groaned, rubbing his eyes, only to find them softer and more delicate than he remembered. He sat up, feeling an unaccustomed lightness and the silky sensation of long hair brushing his shoulders. He looked down at himself, eyes widening in shock. he stood up to look at himself in a near by mirror, the reflection staring back was of a young woman with hair cascading around her shoulders, eyes wide with shock.
“Y/N?” he whispered, his voice unfamiliar and soft. "This has to be a joke," he muttered, his voice higher and more feminine.
The two spent the first few hours in a state of utter bewilderment, trying to come to terms with their new realities. Y/N, now in Chuuya's body, felt an overwhelming surge of power coursing through her veins—an intensity she had never experienced before. She struggled to control it, fearing she might unintentionally unleash his ability, Corruption.
Chuuya, on the other hand, found himself in awe of the gentle yet profound connection to nature he felt within Y/N's body. He could sense the wind whispering secrets to him, the plants responding to his emotions, and an innate ability to influence the weather. He marveled at the raw, untamed power that seemed to flow so naturally through her.
After a frantic exchange of phone calls and a hasty meeting, they stood face-to-face in a secluded alleyway, away from prying eyes. The air between them crackled with tension and unspoken questions.
"How did this happen?" Y/N asked, her voice shaky "Did you do this?" The accusatory tone, evident.
"I have no idea," Chuuya replied, crossing his arms and trying to appear composed despite the turmoil inside. "I didn't do this, But we need to figure it out. Fast."
Their eyes locked, a mixture of distrust and curiosity flickering between them. They had always been on opposing sides—Y/N, a dedicated member of the Armed Detective Agency, and Chuuya, a formidable executive of the Port Mafia. Their encounters had always been fraught with tension and conflict, but this was different. This was personal.
As they navigated the complexities of each other's powers, they began to notice subtle, inexplicable connections. Y/N could feel Chuuya's memories and emotions, his fierce determination, and his loyalty. Chuuya, in turn, experienced Y/N's gentle compassion, her unwavering resolve, and her deep connection to the world around her.
It was during a particularly tense moment—when Y/N, in Chuuya's body, struggled to control his ability—that the truth dawned on them. As she faltered, Chuuya instinctively reached out, his touch grounding her, stabilizing the overwhelming power within.
Their eyes met, and in that instant, they knew.
"We're soulmates," Y/N whispered, her voice filled with awe and disbelief.
Chuuya's eyes softened, a rare vulnerability breaking through his usual tough exterior. "Looks like it," he murmured, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Fate has a twisted sense of humor, huh?"
The realization brought a mix of emotions—shock, disbelief, and a strange sense of completion. Despite their differences, despite the chaotic circumstances, they felt an undeniable bond, a connection that transcended their individual selves.
But the weight of their affiliations hung heavy between them. Y/N looked away, her expression conflicted. "Chuuya, we're on different sides. This—this complicates everything."
Chuuya sighed, running a hand through his borrowed hair. "I know. But maybe this is fate's way of telling us there's more to this than just sides."
As the day wore on, they learned to trust each other implicitly, relying on the newfound understanding that being soulmates brought. By the time the sun set, casting a warm, golden glow over the city, they had grown closer than ever before, their shared experiences bridging the gap between their worlds.
When the world shifted once more, returning them to their original bodies, they stood side by side, the weight of their experience settling between them.
"So," Chuuya began, a mischievous glint in his eyes, "wanna come back to my apartment?"
Y/N laughed, her heart lighter than it had been in ages. "Absolutely. Not. I'm still with the Agency."
"And I'm still with the Mafia," Chuuya replied, his tone serious. "But maybe we can find a way to make this work. The universe has spoken, and I'm not in the habit of saying no to a beautiful woman."
She rolled her eyes, overwhelmed and exasperated. "You're impossible, you know that?"
Chuuya smirked, the usual confidence back in his stance. "I've been told. But seriously, Y/N, this is... something neither of us can ignore."
Y/N sighed, her mind racing. The idea of being soulmates with someone from the Port Mafia was ludicrous, yet the connection she felt with Chuuya was undeniable. "I guess we can figure it out as we go," she said, her voice softening. "Just... don't expect me to make it easy for you."
"Wouldn't have it any other way," Chuuya replied, his eyes glinting with determination.
As they stood there, side by side, the lines between their worlds blurred just a little. It wouldn't be easy, and the path ahead was uncertain, but for the first time, they felt a flicker of hope. They were bound by something greater than their affiliations—something that defied logic and expectation.
And together, they were ready to face whatever came next.

Bsd AU where Verlaine and Rimbaud are searching all over the war camps to find a little kid that's seen as a weapon.
Bsd AU where an 11 y/o Yosano finda a little kid lost amongst soldiers. The kid is hurt so she heals him. He never leaves her side again, too scared of getting hurt, too scared to be taken back to the lab.
Bsd AU where the Great War ended and Japan was on the winning side and Mori figured out who or what Chuuya was and wanted to have him.
Bsd AU where Chuuya and Yosano are put in confinement for their crimes during the war even though they won the war for their country. And they even have to be separated.

Bsd AU where after Fukuzawa defeats Mori and saves Yosano, the little girl tells him someone else needs to be saved.

Bsd AU where after Chuuya leaves the Sheep he's found by Fukuzawa and gets reunited with his friend.
Bsd AU where Chuuya becomes a member of the Agency when he was 15 and felt pretty much happy since then.
Bsd AU where Chuuya and Murase have a father-son relationship because this time they can.
Bsd AU where Chuuya has friends that don't use him and that won't leave him, here in the Agency.
Bsd AU where years later Dazai joins the Agency and he's faced with the boy he couldn't predict.
Bsd AU where Chuuya is happy and goes drinking with Yosano and they accidentally get to a Mafia's bar but the people there, some dudes calling themselves the Flags, are chill and they bond.
Bsd AU where The Assassin King randomly sees some news from Japan about a detective and he realizes that's Arahabaki, no. Chuuya. And he feels bad he couldn't help him but he's also happy that Chuuya's not in pain anymore.
Bsd AU where at the beginning Chuuya can't trust Dazai but they end up working too good together not to.
Bsd AU where Chuuya accidentally meets Shirase and he (Shirase) apologizes for what he did to Chuuya. It's hard, but Chuuya forgives him and the Sheep.
Bsd AU where Chuuya is working on a case with the Europole and he has to work with some AI detective, Adam. Turns out the robot is cool and they become friends.
Bsd AU where Chuuya doesn't question his humanity, where Chuuya's friends are alive and he can see them all.
(Does this make sense? Prolly not, partially because English isn't my first language. Does it have plot holes? Definitely. Did it feel angsty when I wrote it? Yep. Be honest, am I delulu?? )

It’s crunch time for this year’s robotics season and it’s giving me so many ideas for a stupid BSD high school AU revolving around them being robotics nerds. The ADA and the PM are rival teams in the same local hub that manage to kind of get along when they both advance to nationals. Dazai/Chuuya were the PM’s best driver/spotter duo (in either order) until Dazai swapped schools a couple years ago. Kunikida is an absolute beast who helps oversee the build team and also makes sure that marketing campaign is perfect down to the letter. Everyone in the pit had better pray whenever Atsushi and Akutagawa happen to be driving for their respective teams during the same round
This is niche as hell but do you see the vision

waddles in.. no on sent u a ship + snetence so im giving u a couple
mushiango + "i told you going to a haunted house would be a bad idea"
and kunichuu (perhaps. ada chuuya flavor) + "hey, this isn't so awful"
Dino you are a godsend I have been Itching for an excuse to write mango (and ADA Chuuya Kunichuu go brrr)
Mushiango:
"I told you going to a haunted house would be a bad idea." "Well it's not MY fault there was an actual ghost there," Mushitaro says with a huff, trying to cross his arms- and immediately wincing. Ango just scowls, immediately pushing Mushitaro back. "Just rest. You can take me on a proper first date when you're recovered." He regrets saying something so bold as soon as it leaves his mouth- but the bright red that covers Mushitaro's face makes it just a little bit worth it.
Kunichuu:
"Hey, this isn't so awful." "I told you," Kunikida says with a prideful huff, putting his hands on his hips. "I can cook." Chuuya scoffs, and continues shoveling food into his mouth. "Fine, fine, I admit you can cook." He laughs. "Maybe this Agency thing won't be so bad after all." "Hey! Chew up your food before you talk!"

I got bored so I'm rambling through all of my Bungou Stray Dogs AU's.
The Sheep King and his Demon AU
Aka Bsd except Chuuya doesn't join the Port Mafia.
The Sheep never betray Chuuya. In fact they are basically one big dysfunctional and loving family.
Chuuya still goes on the search for Arahabaki and meets Dazai. But the Sheep trust him, their wary of Dazai but not Chuuya.
As time goes on, the Sheep warm up to Dazai and basically adopt him like a stray cat. Chuuya and Dazai get together, the Sheep tease them relentlessly for it.
Just a silly lil AU on their antics and Soukoko being Soukoko even though Chuuya remains King of the Sheep.
Agency informant Izaya
Izaya Orihara from Durarara in the world of Bungou Stray Dogs. However this Izaya is quite different, essentially everything in Durarara still happened.
The final fight with Shizuo and the brutal humbling reminder that Izaya was still very much human.
This is an Izaya who has changed, who tries every day to be a better person than who he was.
He came to Yokohama because he was curious if the famous Demon Prodigy was in fact a Demon. And ended up with a whole new life.
He learned to let people in, he learned how to love people. And became the human Shinra always said he could be.
No one from Durarara shows up because Izaya has erased all evidence of him online. He has left Ikebukuro behind and will never return.
Izaya is like Katai in the way he's not technically a member of the Agency but he's still with the Agency. The Agency adore him, Dazai is basically his little brother at this point.
Sometimes Izaya wonders if he deserves this, but he's thankful anyway.
Izaya's firecely protective over them all, and helps out when shit goes down. Usually from behind the scenes.
He has an ability, Sunsets Last Applause, that functions like Ango's except it works through looking at people rather than touching objects.
An AU that takes place across different moments and arcs in canon, either about Izaya or he's in someway involved.
The Port Mafia brothers AU
Aka Bsd except Akutugawa and Dazai have a good sibling relationship
Basically that.
Dazai finds Akutugawa and recruits him into the Port Mafia. What Dazai didn't expect was for Mori to put him in charge of Akutugawa.
Dazai freaks out, because he's in no way equipped to raise a child (child in question is 2 years younger than him.)
The reason Dazai freaks out is because he wants to do right by Akutugawa. He saw a scared kid and wanted to help him, but he doesn't know what to do.
Oda is there to give him advice and reassure him that he'll be fine. That Akutugawa will have to learn to stand on his own two feet in this organisation.
You need to guide him, be a helping hand. Dazai doesn't abuse Akutugawa in this, at all.
In the Port Mafia, Akutugawa is basically Dazai's shadow. He's silent, he's never far from him and almost treated like the furniture, a bodyguard.
For his own protection, no one can know their true relationship especially Mori.
Outside of the Port Mafia Akutugawa is Dazai's silly, bitchy little brother and Dazai is his dramatic, dumbass older brother. Their idiots and they love each other.
Silly lil AU that's basically Dazai and Akutugawa's antics, along with Gin. And Oda keeping an eye on them with Ango.
Moonlit Butterfly
When Atsushi's ability manifested, the Orphanage called the Special Division of Unusual Powers to take him away.
They were fascinated by his ability, see they wanted to start the Hunting Dogs programme. But they didn't have proof a human could survive the procedures.
Hence, where Atsushi came in as their lab rat.
However at some point, Fukuchi learned of him and said such a strong ability couldn't just be wasted like this.
So along side being a lab rat, now Atsushi was being trained by Fukuchi. And let's just say Fukuchi was not a kind instructor. No one treated Atsushi like he was human.
The great war came and Atsushi, now 10 years old was deployed as a soilder. Which is where he met the other kid in his regiment, 11 year old Yosano Akiko.
Yosano had been working at a sweets shop just last week, but was persuaded by Doctor Mori to join the war effort. He told her she could save lives with her ability, and she wanted too.
Neither really knew what they'd signed up for, though it wasn't like either had a choice.
Yosano is the first person to show Atsushi kindness, the first to treat him like a human. Both of them have a sibling relationship and everyone else in the regiment keeps their distance.
They love Yosano one moment and than hate the next as their angel of death. And Atsushi is deemed a demon simply for existing.
Well, not everyone thinks that. The only person outside of the duo who are kind to them is Shunzen Tachihara.
He's an older sibling to them. Yosano and Atsushi remind him of his little brother and Shunzen's always there to let them have those little pockets of ease and joy during the war.
(Entire regiment: that's an angel/Demon
Shunzen Tachihara: Those are children, leave them alone!)
AU is basically the embodiment of the universe bought them together, ripped them apart and somewhere along the way they found each other again.
Because Shunzen... Meets his canon fate, Yosano and Atsushi are seperated after the war. Yosano to the psychiatric hospital, Atsushi back to the lab.
But with the efforts of one Genuis Detective they are bought back together again.
And if I can figure out a plot, this one might become an actual fic. Mostly centers on them in the war but does include afterwards.
The Wary Weretiger
The Orphanage never let Atsushi forget who he was. Atsushi remembers killing Shibusawa and was told about why he came.
Shibusawa wanted the tiger, most people want the tiger. Atsushi doesn't really know why, just that it's unique the tiger and because of the power it holds.
The Headmaster really told Atsushi almost everything. The man was many things but a liar wasn't one of them.
He taught Atsushi that the only one you can trust is yourself and Atsushi took that seriously. The only being Atsushi trusts other than himself is the tiger.
The tiger and Atsushi are close, they are the only one each other have. Because of that Atsushi has better control but not completely.
Atsushi doesn't trust anyone else. Every adult in his life has let him down, has tortured and abuse him.
He runs away from the Orphanage and lives on the streets.
He knows the Guild are after him, he's met Fitzgerald and knows about Fyodor. Atsushi has even met Doctor Mori, who was an old friend of the Headmaster and curious about his ability.
So when Atsushi gets asked to join the Agency, he refuses. Because he believes they just want his ability. They did start the whole thing by searching for the tiger, so... Fair assumption.
And while, true the fact the rampaging tiger is actually a homeless teenager definitely shifts everyone's priorities.
They work to build up trust with Atsushi, wanting to show they truly want to help him.
But Atsushi doesn't want their help, he's gotten this far on his own. He's been hunted his whole life, known pain as a constant companion.
He doesn't know what to do in the face of genuine kindness.
Unfortunately the threat will continue to grow and Atsushi will end up having to ally with the tiger.
He's smart, cold and has a short temper. But underneath it all he's just a kid that wants a home.
The Agency swear they'll give him one, one day.

you know sometimes i think of ada!chuuya get positive affirmations and praise from other ada! members. like just, random platonic affection. ( though I don't think chuuya would react normally about it but it's ok )
i don't know, i just think chuuya is a very sad guy ngl— i think he deserves some hugs.
i mean since fukuzawa can find stray cats around the ada! building areas, i think it's possible for chuuya to find a stray puppy or two.
if this idea was a bit too silly, i shall see myself out.
Anon you get me, have some happy ada!Chuuya with friends

Today, I offer you two of my biggest obsessions slowly merging together: BSD Demon Slayer AU
This is basically the adventures of Atsushi as Tanjiro, except his own is very different and moon themed instead of sun themed (so might be related to demons in more than one way as well). Kyouka is -not her sister despite me putting her in Nezuko's role- a demon girl he (Atsushi) passed upon. This strange girl seems to struggle against her demon nature, thinking she killed her own family. But did she really? In front of a completely demolished house, Atsushi finds this story very strange, so he decides to look more into it, thus protecting Kyouka from other slayers. He himself is probably an orphan, rescued then trained by some slayer (probably not Dazai though) when he was very little, so little in fact he surely doesn't even remember seeing his gamily be killed by a certain demon. Who might be this demon? Who knows... I wonder if he roars beneath moonlight...?
Soukoku and suegiku (yes those two are dressed as Shinobu and Giyu, nobody will take my Tecchou=Giyu off of me) are there as well, not doing much for now but still having to deal with their exhausting partners.

skk singer au, p2
tw: death, abuse, dazai-typical suicide and self harm mentions(?) slight inspiration from i was screaming your name through the radio by electricsplatter. definitely recommended DAZAI dazai, originally shuuji tsushima, would be signed under the port records as a child (around 10 or 11) due to his parents. because of his understanding in writing, reading, and singing music, he would quickly be placed as an executive at the ripe age of fifteen. he would be pressured by mori and manipulated into doing a lot of the work. dazai's parents signed him to the records because they weren't in a stage to take care of him, nor did they really want him. mori would take advantage of his mental health and do what most managers did: be forceful of the music that dazai produced and the shows. although being considered a prodigy, before the single of double black, he only recorded one EP of five songs. he only did a few shows, since he didn't like singing the songs and pretending with so many people in front of him, despite the popularity. because of the abuse he received from mori and his parents, he would project it on akutagawa. he would be harsh and always criticize him. at about seventeen, he would meet ango and oda. ango would be the one keeping all the contracts for the port records, while oda would be a simple lyricist for the smaller artists of the record. oda would be cut out from the record because of the emotional attachment dazai had to him. it would be about oda getting cut out of the records would be a turning point for dazai. he would finally understand that the port records wasn't a good place for him. despite his contract extending until twenty, he leaves the place, laying low until his contract officially ended. after that, he'd sign with the armed entertainment agency. he would initially just do paperwork and be a lyricist for kunikida. after a month or so, he starts recording singles and albums. he quickly becomes popular, and although only having three albums, earned lots of money on the tour he had. SOUKOKU their relationship would have tons of ups and downs. since they are both famous singers, they aren't looking for anything to stir up the people watching them. chuuya would feel somewhat betrayed that dazai left the port records, but would understand that it was a toxic environment for him. to him, the record company felt more empty without him. their relationship would take a turn when dazai went to one of chuuya's concerts at nineteen, when he was supposed to be 'laying low'. chuuya realizes that dazai still exists and hasn't killed himself or anything, and that sets him off. ("not a single text? not even one, dazai?") following this, they'd continue to bicker and fight. their relationship would receive publicity. the only time where they finally get it resolved is when dazai adds a love song labeled with his name on a new album, which makes the streams and famousness skyrocket, as well as conclude their feelings.
