It was dark and cold when you opened your eyes. You blinked a couple of times before your gaze shifted to your right, and sure enough, you found his side empty. There was a lump in your throat, and somehow you felt parched. You touched your face only to feel dried tears staining your cheek.
After a couple more seconds, you started to panic, yanking the blanket away from your body and frantically searching for the only source of comfort that you had. The bathroom was empty, so you walked out of your bedroom and scanned the huge living room. You only found unpacked boxes and your sofa still wrapped in plastic, and even the lights in the kitchen were off.
Your hands began to tremble as you made your way to the center of the room. Your head began to spin, and your heartbeat gradually became faster as you tried and failed to gain enough consciousness so early in the morning. Your eyes flickered and you whispered to yourself.
“Phone.”
You went back to your bedroom and immediately grabbed your phone that you had placed on the end table since the night before. You unlocked it and somehow managed to feel even more let down at the lack of notifications. Just as you were about to lose it, you heard the door unlocking and the familiar sound of footsteps entering the house.
Jay was trying his best to make as little noise as possible, but when he saw you walking out of the bedroom, his eyes lit up. Once he registered what was going on though, from the expression on your face, he became worried.
“Hey,” he said softly, just seconds before you threw yourself into his embrace.
You began sobbing on his chest, drenching his shirt in your tears. Your hands were grabbing on the back of his shirt, and with every breath you took your shoulders shook with you. Jay enveloped you in his arms and started making shushing noise.
“It’s okay,” he whispered, squeezing your shoulders. “I’m here. It’s okay.”
Your cries did not seem to be stopping soon, and the sound of your wails created a huge lump in Jay’s throat too. His eyebrows furrowed as he attempted to pull you closer, resting his chin on the top of your head. He did not stop rubbing your back in an attempt to soothe you, and once he heard you quieting down, he started speaking softly.
“Was it a bad dream?” he asked in the lowest voice he could muster.
You merely nodded your head, still burying it in the crook of his neck as you sniffled the tears.
“Were you looking for me?” Jay asked again. You nodded softer this time, and Jay felt horrible. “I’m sorry. I should have left a note or texted you. I didn’t think you would wake up so early. I think I spent way too much time at the gym too.”
You responded only with a sniffle, and you began to loosen the grip on his shirt. Jay immediately took one of your hands off his back and grabbed it tight.
“Here, let me look at you,” he said, trying to pry you away from his body.
You shook your head and hid your face on his chest again, refusing to make eye contact. Jay calmly opened your fist and made you palm his face.
“I’m right here,” he said, placing a hand over yours so you would stay cupping his face. “I’m sorry.”
You shook your head again, and Jay assumed that it meant he did not have to apologize. It was killing him the way you refused to look at him, though, but in reality, you were just embarrassed that you broke down over something so trivial.
Jay turned his face to kiss your palm, and the warmth surged through your whole body. You regained composure, and once you felt calmer, you tilted your face up, nudging your nose to his jawline. In an instant, Jay placed his hand on the back of your neck and pulled you into a kiss.
You kissed him desperately, like you had not seen him in years, and to him it felt like you were trying to breathe in the air inside his mouth. His lips gently danced with yours, stopping in between to let you breathe. His hand never left the back of your head, nor did his arm around your waist, and at that moment you were willing to give anything to make the time stop.
“I love you,” you said as you broke the kiss. Your voice came out as barely a whisper.
Jay nodded, brushing his nose with yours before kissing the corner of your lips softly. He trailed soft kisses from there up to your cheek before stopping on your earlobe. His hand moved up to stroke your hair, making you close your eyes as you listened to his raspy voice right in your ear.
“I love you more.”
---
Jake and Heeseung’s screams of frustration accompanied with Sunghoon’s victorious cackle made the whole room shake. You almost let a clean mug slip out of your hands from the shock, and Jay chuckled at the way you ever so slightly flinched. You looked over your shoulder and saw that the three guys were hunched together, while Isa and Yoon were sitting on the lounge chair across them, eyes glued to the TV.
“I’ll tell them to keep it down,” Jay said, closing in on you and pecking your cheek before he made his way to the living room.
Isa and Yoon’s eyes lit up the moment they saw the tray filled with cold drinks in Jay’s hand, and Sunghoon had to shout at Jake for almost knocking everything down from being so jumpy and chaotic. Heeseung cleared the table to help Jay set the tray down, and then each of them started asking questions about the drinks.
You joined them only after you replied to a couple of messages on your phone, and as you slipped your phone into your pocket you noticed that everyone was already holding their own beverages.
“An informal toast!” Yoon said, raising her glass of iced latte. “To the new house.”
“To the new couple, Mr. and Mrs. Park,” Jake joined in.
“And to Heeseung, for being one of the awardees of our company’s scholarship program,” you ended with a smile.
Heeseung’s jaw dropped, and his eyes widened. Jay was already chuckling, amused at the faces his friends were making.
“Are you serious?” Heeseung asked, looking at you. He then looked at Jay, then at you again.
“Congratulations, buddy,” Jay finally intercepted, nudging Heeseung’s arm with his elbow.
“Cheers!” Sunghoon shouted, surprisingly being the loudest of the group at that very moment.
Three people started talking at once, and you had to jump from one group to another to tend to all their questions.
“So, this housewarming is actually also like a mini wedding reception and like a congratulatory party too? Who is the main character of this party?” Isa asked you, genuinely confused.
“All of you guys, the invitees. And the house maybe,” you replied, smiling sweetly at Isa. “Thank you for coming, girls. I know that you don’t like it when I mix two different groups of friends.”
“That’s bulls, you always nail it when you intentionally introduce your friends to each other. Wasn’t that how we became a trio?” Yoon chimed in, not taking her eyes off her drink.
You continued to talk to the girls for a while until Jake interrupted, claiming that he needed to go to the bathroom, but Sunghoon was taking too long in the guest powder room. You calmly asked Jay to point out the bathroom in the main bedroom before you excused yourself to the kitchen to get a refill on the snacks and drinks.
Not long after, you heard the soft footsteps of Jake waddling towards you. You locked eyes with him, and he was making a concerned and rather uncomfortable face. You immediately started to frown before asking him.
“Is there a problem in the bathroom?” You asked, resting your hand on the counter.
Jake stood beside you and leaned in to be discreet. “You left your sex toy in the bathroom.”
“What?” You half-shouted, half-whispered. “What do you mean?”
“What’s going on here?”
Jay’s voice was calm, but he had it in that lower register that sort of just vibrated, and both you and Jake jumped a little in your places.
“Jake said there’s a sex toy in the bathroom,” you calmly reiterated.
“The fuck are you talking about?” Jay almost spat back in response. You snorted at his reply.
Jake looked at you apologetically before dragging Jay back into the bathroom. You made sure that the others were preoccupied before following the two of them. When you reached the bathroom, you heard Jay’s loud sigh.
“What?” Jake asked, holding up the ‘sex toy’ by its little handle.
Jay’s reaction immediately made sense. You started giggling softly, trying to suppress it from turning into a huge cackle.
“You think that’s a sex toy?” You asked. “That purple spiky-looking thing?”
“Yeah, what do you think we’re supposed to do with it?” Jay added.
Jake visibly cringed. “Ew? I don’t need to know what you two do behind closed doors. I’m just saying if you’re inviting people to your house maybe put away these types of stuff.”
You walked towards Jake, took the ‘sex toy’ from his hand and started pressing it onto his head.
“Noona!” Jake shrieked in horror.
“It’s a scalp massager, Jake! What, just because it’s made of silicone, you automatically assume it’s a sex toy?”
Jay was wheezing against the doorway, and you turned your head to him.
“Baby, don’t laugh like you didn’t think of the same thing when I first bought this.”
Jake’s initially embarrassed face was instantly replaced with relief. The two men then started laughing and yelling at each other while you shook your head and tidied up a little around the sink. When Jay brought up the idea of having a joint get-together of your friends and his, you did not expect it to be this chaotic, but you were glad that you agreed to it.
---
You walked out of your bedroom, one hand rubbing your eye as you tried to stifle back a yawn. The sound coming from the kitchen woke you up, since it was repetitive, and Jay did not seem like he was trying to be quiet. In his defense, he wanted you to know that he was there, so he made loud noises on purpose.
“There’s my beautiful wife,” Jay greeted you as soon as he caught you in his sight. He was doing the rest of last night’s dishes as he waited for breakfast to cook.
“Really?” You chuckled. “I have dried up drool on the corner of my mouth and my hair looks like a bird’s nest.”
“Signs of a good sleep then, that’s nice,” Jay replied nonchalantly. “That means last night I did tire you out, didn’t I?”
Holding back a smile would be useless as Jay was already looking at you with his signature smirk. A proud smirk, you thought. Last night was probably one of the best nights you had with Jay, if you could even list down your favorites.
You had been watching House of the Dragon for a while, and although Jay wasn’t the biggest fan of fantasy mixed with gore, he still sat with you through every episode. It melted your heart that every time a stomach-turning scene was about to come up, Jay would always lean into you and let you hide your face in the crook of his neck until the scene ends.
This time, though, the scene came on without warning and you both gasped loudly at the same time. Your mouth hung open and you knew Jay had the same face despite him rubbing his hand on your shoulder to console you. When the episode ended, you turned to look at him and he smiled apologetically.
“Sorry I wasn’t fast enough to catch that,” he said, pouting.
You quickly turned the TV off and moved to sit on his lap. You thanked him with your mouth, not with words but in a way that you were certain he would appreciate. After a hot minute of making out, you hopped off the sofa and kneeled in front of him, knowing how hard he had already become.
Jay grasped onto the throw pillows and blanket on the sofa as you gave him the suck of his life. He couldn’t stop moaning whenever his tip hit the back of your throat, and the view of him with his exposed and clenched jawline and his eyes rolled back just motivated you to go even harder. He thrusted his hips up and grabbed your arm, which you thought was a warning, so you calmly stroked his thigh until he came in your mouth.
You had to very carefully pull away to not let any of his cum drip to the floor. As you did so, a drop of it trickled down your chin and you swore Jay let out the shakiest breath ever. He sat up and wiped his thumb along your bottom lip, catching the remains and thrusting his thumb into your mouth, making you lick it dry. After that, he rested his hand behind your neck and pulled you into a deep kiss, tasting himself on your tongue.
“Bedroom?” He whispered after you pulled away to catch your breath.
You nodded enthusiastically and the next thing you remember was being naked with him on your new bed with brand new silk sheets. The feeling of the soft sheets contrasting with the way Jay was holding your hips made your heart beat a lot faster, and you desperately tried to slow things down as you took the lead, grinding your hips on his lap as he sat up with you, his cock twitching inside of you every time you clenched around him.
Your hands were touching him everywhere, his cheeks, his jaw, his neck, his shoulders, and as you mustered all the energy you had left to keep the pace, Jay kissed your chin before lifting you up and instantly switching your position. You were now lying on your back, and Jay held your legs spread open as he started to thrust into you faster than before. Your breath hitched and you grasped the sheets behind you, while Jay chased his own high and squeezed your boobs as he released his seed inside of you.
Your heavy breaths were now in sync, and you saw Jay panting, which was something that rarely happens. Usually, you were the only one out of breath, so you couldn’t help but form a small triumphant smile.
“How are we feeling?” you asked as Jay managed to maneuver you both, lying sideways and facing each other without him having to pull out of you.
Jay chuckled softly before kissing the tip of your nose. “I’m so beat right now, fuck.”
You laughed softly and started peppering kisses all over his face, loving the way his arms automatically wrapped around your waist.
“Wasn’t I the one that tired you out?” you said, snapping back to the present and trying to dismiss the image of last night. You did not need to get wet so early in the morning, not when Jay was making breakfast for you both.
“Alright,” Jay replied, wiping his hands on the apron he was wearing. “Let’s say we both did.”
You nodded once and let Jay get back to his thing. He had told you several times that he did not mind being the only one busy in the kitchen, and having you eat whatever he had prepped was rewarding enough.
For you, though, seeing him in the kitchen was a reward in itself, for Jay often cooked or cleaned with sleeveless shirts, or shirtless, or in a unique combination like right now.
“Is that apron really necessary when you’re shirtless like that?” You asked as you sat on the stool facing the counter. You placed your elbows on the counter and rested your chin on the back of your hands.
“I feel like you’re trying to tell me something so why don’t you get to the point?” Jay asked back, smirking at you before diverting his attention back to the meal he was prepping.
“You look very fuckable, husband.”
Jay let out a breathy chuckle before turning around and serving you a plate of omelet with mushrooms and a small portion of salad. You looked at his plate and he had the exact same thing except with cherry tomatoes.
“As much as I’d like to have you for breakfast,” Jay began, “we have a very important meeting this morning and I need you to not skip a meal.”
“Fair,” you replied, smiling when Jay pecked your cheek. He took his apron off before sitting on the stool beside you. “This looks amazing. Thank you, baby.”
“Anything for my queen.”
---
The computer screen in front of you was already set to a dimmer light, but despite that it still hurt your eyes. You had already taken a power nap, finished a cup of iced latte, yet the drowsiness remained. You heard a knock on the door and waited for Jay to let himself in.
“The last meeting of the day is in fifteen, Boss,” Jay said as he walked to you, spinning a pen in his hand and having his iPad secured in his arms. “Still sleepy?”
“You know me best,” you answered, leaning back on your seat and stretching your arms as much as you could. You yawned and Jay had to look away to not catch it too. “I’ll just get cold water.”
Jay looked like he was contemplating something as he watched you walk to the mini bar. After a couple of seconds, he rushed out of the office and before you could even say a word, he returned less than a minute later, holding a small package in his hands.
“I was gonna wait until we got home, but…”
You eyed the box in his hand. He was already smiling at you.
“What do you have there?” you asked, almost too scared to find out the answer.
Jay peeped his head out your door, making sure none of your employees were around. He reckoned that Hwiyoung was on a coffee break, so he calmly closed your door before he made his way back to you.
“Don’t get mad at me, but I ordered this for funsies,” Jay said, giving the box to you.
“You open it.”
Jay sighed and shook his head, thinking that it had been years at this point of him taking orders from you, but he would still do it for another thousand years. He grabbed a pen from your desk and used the tip to break the seal, and within seconds you were looking at a sleek box with a vague image on top of it.
“Is it like a massager? That would make me even sleepier, Jay,” you complained before you could even see the actual item.
“Stay with me,” Jay replied calmly, completely unboxing the item.
It was a two-piece device, one remote and the other…
“It’s magnetic,” Jay explained. “You can clip this to the inside of your panties, and I’ll hold the remote. Wear it during the meeting so you can be alert at all times. When I catch you zoning out, be ready for it to vibrate.”
“You’re fucking joking,” you said, chuckling to yourself. “Right?”
“Baby, I’m very serious,” he replied in his actual serious voice. “When naps and caffeine don’t work, I had to get creative to find a solution.”
“This sounds like more fun for you,” you sighed, taking the device from his hands and examining it up close.
“Well, yes, but you’ll feel the pleasure.”
As you were holding the main device, Jay pressed the remote and it vibrated in your hand. You almost jolted from the shock and you both laughed out loud from your reaction. Jay quickly turned the device off and took it out of your hand.
“I understand if you don’t want to try it now. We can always do it some other time,” Jay said, turning his back to you and already packing the device back into its box.
You licked your lips before you made your decision. You took a step closer to Jay and held his wrist, stopping him.
“I’ll do it.”
---
During most meetings, your presence is usually needed to review your team’s ideas and give necessary feedback. This means that you rarely had to speak, and around eighty percent of the time you would always be listening to other people speak. When you’re sleepy and losing focus, this easy task could be particularly hard to follow.
You and Jay were sitting at the end of the table, the farthest from the whiteboard and the chairs where the speakers were gathered. The meeting room was large enough to have everyone sit with ample space between each other, making them have to lean in if they wanted to whisper a thought. You had both your hands clasped in front of your face, your lips touching your thumbs as you were listening to Keeho’s presentation.
Jay caught you slow blinking several times before you shut your eyes for more than two seconds. He reached into his pocket and pressed a button on the remote. Your body jolted awake, and to quickly hide the reaction you faked a sneeze.
“Bless you, Miss,” Keeho said without missing a beat before continuing to talk.
You side-eyed Jay and he immediately mouthed ‘sorry’ to you. He winked and took his hands out of his pocket, and you relaxed for a moment. The meeting carried on and you started making notes on your journal while waiting for the next speaker to set up. Jay then noticed that the movement of your pen paused, so he slid his hand into his pocket again and pressed the remote.
The shock you expressed this time was in the form of a slam on the table. Your team thought you were losing patience and they apologized to you in an instant, almost in unison. Jay had to bite his lower lip to stop himself from laughing, and once Beomgyu started his presentation, you lightly slapped Jay on his thigh.
You were now paying close attention to Beomgyu and you even commented on a few things, earning more comments from the rest of the team. While Yeji was telling you about her thoughts on one of your remarks, Jay pressed the button on the remote. You couldn’t hold back from letting out a moan this time, but you were quick to put a hand over your stomach.
“Sorry,” you quickly muttered. “That time of the month,” you continued, faking a smile.
“Oh, I can talk to you about this some other time, Miss,” Yeji replied, smiling back with concern. “Maybe Beomgyu could wrap up.”
As your team refocused their attention back to Beomgyu, you shot daggers at Jay with your eyes and a look that said, ‘what the fuck was that for?’. Jay only threw a smug smile as a response.
The meeting was eventually adjourned since it was getting late, and you had always been against your team working overtime unless it was absolutely necessary. That, and the fact that Jay could not stop pressing the remote and driving you crazy.
“You seem to be having way too much fun,” you said to him as you stared at the elevator waiting for it to arrive.
Jay stood proudly beside you, both his hands in his pocket and his head tilted up slightly. You had never seen him this cocky. The elevator then dinged and as you entered, you were relieved to find it empty. However, you heard several people talking and before you knew it, Yeji, Beomgyu, and Keeho joined in the elevator.
“Miss,” Keeho greeted you with a smile. “Going down?”
Beomgyu was about to press the lobby, but you shook your head and Jay cleared his throat.
“Back to the office, actually,” Jay clarified. “You guys can go home though.”
Beomgyu nodded and pressed the number to your floor. The three of them stood in front of you, talking to each other in whispers. The elevator ride down felt like it took so long, and it did not help that Jay pressed the remote in his pocket, again.
“Shit,” you muttered, leaning into Jay and grabbing his arm for support.
Jay’s cocky smile quickly shifted into fake concern once he noticed everyone looking at you.
“Are you okay, Miss?” Beomgyu asked.
“Miss, I have painkillers but they’re at my desk. I can go get it for you,” Yeji chimed in, reaching to touch your arm.
You merely grabbed onto Jay and squeezed his arm unnecessarily hard. Jay winced and chuckled to defuse the tension.
“I got it from here, guys. Thanks,” Jay smiled at them, putting his hand over yours and caressing you gently.
You arrived at your floor and as you exited the elevator with Jay, your employees waved at you still with concerned looks on their faces. As soon as the elevator door closed, you yanked your hands off Jay’s arm, and he cackled as he followed you back to the office.
You had dismissed Hwiyoung earlier, so you did not have to worry about any employees lingering around your office. You swung the door open and pulled the hair clip off your hair, throwing it haphazardly on your desk. Jay followed you and closed the door behind him before taking the remote out of his pocket.
“Mission accomplished?” Jay asked, dangling the remote in front of your face.
“Shut up.”
You threw your body towards him and he caught you in his arms, also catching your lips in his. The remote dropped from his hand and you continued to move closer to him, making him take several steps backwards until he hit a wall. Your hands were firmly cupping his face so you could dominate the kiss, but his hands were roaming freely all over your body.
“You made me all wet,” you whispered, kissing his cheek. “That wasn’t the goal.”
Jay smiled, pushing your skirt up your thighs and reaching for your panties to detach the device. “But what if it is?” he asked as he got rid of it. “What if the goal is exactly to make you wet?”
“Then you’re gonna have to clean up,” you muttered, pulling him by his tie and switching positions, making him cage you with his arms. “Be a good boy, will you?”
You placed both your hands on his shoulders and started pushing him down to his knees. The moment he realized what was going on, Jay chuckled and ran his hands down your sides as he went down. He even dragged your panties with the hook of his fingers and carefully took them off your feet.
He looked up at you with his gorgeous, gorgeous eyes and you took a deep breath before you witnessed his face disappearing under your skirt. You let out a soft whimper when you felt his plush lips kiss your folds, and it did not take long for him to completely devour you, making your lewd moans escape your lips. His hands were parked on your ass firmly, and you began slowly grinding your hips while you placed the back of your arm against your mouth to conceal the noises you were letting out.
Your other hand snaked down to the back of his head, and you tugged on his hair. Jay moaned into your cunt and kept his pace until he noticed your legs tensing up. The grip on his head became stronger as you reached your high, and he was moaning softly along with you, his voice muffled by your own heat.
Jay lifted his head up to look at you, and he was proud that the look of your fucked out face was the one to greet him. You looked at him and saw that his face was a mess, his drool mixed with your cum stained all over his mouth, so you calmly wiped his lips with your thumb.
“Stand up,” you whispered, licking your lips.
Jay did as you said and you greeted him with the softest kiss, feeling him melt into your touch.
“Do you think we can do that again?” Jay asked, brushing his nose against yours.
“Yes, but not in front of my employees,” you answered.
Jay chuckled and you smiled at him. “Out in public, maybe?”
“Sure,” you replied. “But only if you fuck my brains out afterwards.”
“Deal,” Jay said in a split second. “That’s an even bigger win for me.”
---
You were sitting on an outdoor lounge chair by the porch, legs up and facing the beach that was walking distance from the villa. On the coffee table was your laptop, showing several windows open as well as a pile of documents to its side with your sunglasses case acting as a paperweight. As you were reading a chat from your phone and crosschecking it with a document on your screen, you felt a soft tap on your arm.
“Auntie.”
You turned your head and smiled as soon as you saw Ayun.
“Can you brush my hair?” she asked politely, holding up a hairbrush with one hand.
“Of course, darling,” you replied, setting your phone on the table and patting your thighs. Ayun immediately climbed to sit on your lap.
From inside, Jay was prepping the ingredients for an early dinner, and he could see the porch from the huge window on the side of the kitchen. He paused cutting up the potatoes to watch your interaction with Ayun, and soon after, Seungho entered with a couple of snacks and drinks in his hands.
“In case you need refreshments,” your brother said, setting the snacks on the table and heading over to the fridge to store the drinks. “Whatchu got there?”
“Oh, uhm,” Jay stuttered at the sudden appearance of your brother. “Just Japanese-style curry, if that’s okay?”
Seungho chuckled. “What do you mean ‘if that’s okay’? You’re the chef here, we’re definitely just gonna eat what you make. Oh, by the way, Byunghee can’t handle spice.”
“Noted,” Jay replied. “I’ll have the chili flakes separated and served on the table later.”
“Awesome.” Seungho smiled and took a few steps closer to where Jay was standing. “Are you sure there’s nothing I can help you with? I mean, I did hear from my sister that you’re very much a lone chef…”
Jay nodded. “And she is right. I’ve got it covered. Thank you, though. And thanks for inviting us to stay for the weekend.”
Seungho smiled and waved his hand. “It’s nothing. I really wanted to spend more time with family, and I figured the only way to make my sister come down here to Jeju is to forcefully book her tickets and let her stay in this beach house—oh, my God that is adorable!”
Jay blinked and quickly joined Seungho looking out the window. You were holding up your phone, having it on selfie mode, while letting Ayun sing whatever song she was trying to belt out. Ayun was giggling because of the cat filter you had put on.
“For someone who says she doesn’t like children, she really is good with them,” Seungho said, sounding a little solemn.
“She is,” Jay responded, almost a whisper. He then cleared his voice and continued with the meal prep.
“I’m actually glad that we decided to adopt Ayun. I don’t know if my sister had told you, but initially we wanted to be child-free. Some time along the way I think our views both changed.”
Jay had to stop chopping a carrot to gather his thoughts and process Seungho’s words. “I think you both made a great decision. Ayun seems to be happy having two great dads.”
Seungho chuckled softly and smiled to himself. “Thanks for saying that. I’ll get out of your hair now.”
Just as Seungho reached the doorway, Byunghee appeared.
“Go get our daughter and play with her for a bit. I wanna talk to my sister,” Seungho said, placing a hand on Byunghee’s shoulder.
---
You were drying your hair in the bathroom when Jay entered after knocking on the door softly. He gave you the warmest smile and you noticed the hint of fatigue on his face.
“Ayun doesn’t seem to get tired easily, does she?” you asked knowingly.
Jay pouted and nodded, and his adorable expression made you laugh. He stood next to you, and you made room for him, scooting to the side so he could use the sink.
“I had a long talk with Seungho earlier,” you said as you watched him reach for the toothpaste. “He seems to be very proud of Ayun and is having a blast raising her with Byunghee.”
“I can see that,” Jay replied, his voice muffled by the toothbrush in his mouth. “And Ayun is such a nice little girl. I’m sure they’re doing something right.”
You nodded and fell silent as you put away the dryer and began organizing the skincare by the sink. Jay noticed your unusual behavior and quickly wrapped up brushing his teeth.
“Penny for your thoughts?” he said after rinsing his mouth one last time.
You tilted your head and hesitated for a second. “I know that we haven’t really talked about it before we got married, and that’s on me, but what are your thoughts about having children?”
Jay smiled at you softly and turned to face you. He began rubbing both your shoulders with his hands. “Is this what you talked about with your brother?”
“Answer the question, Jay.”
“Alright, Boss,” Jay chuckled, leaning in to peck your cheek. “It’s your body. If you want children, then I will be happy to have them with you. If you don’t, I respect that.”
“Are you being honest?” you retorted, furrowing your eyebrows.
“When have I ever lied to you, Y/N?”
You were about to list all the excuses he had given you before, but you realized all of it was to keep the proposal a surprise. Every little white lie he told you was a cover up that led to him proposing to you, so you couldn’t really count those.
“Really? Playing with Ayun all day didn’t make you feel some sort of spark?” you asked again, this time crossing your elbows in front of your chest.
“How about you?” Jay asked back. “You spent a lot of time with her today. Did it awaken something in you?”
“You always ask me back my questions without answering,” you pouted, shoving his hands away and turning away from him.
Jay smiled and looked at you through the reflection in the mirror. “If I don’t Uno-reverse you, how will I ever know what you really think? I can’t read minds, my love.”
You pouted even more and began leaning into Jay, throwing all your body weight on him. He responded by circling his arms around your waist, pulling you into a hug. You continued to look at each other through the reflection.
“I don’t like kids in general, but maybe I’d like them if they were ours?” you asked, unsure.
“If we had a mini-me and mini-you that would literally be the most adorable thing,” Jay agreed. “But again, it’s your body. I know the thought of pregnancy isn’t that dreamy to you, so we can consider adopting if you really want us to raise a child? We can follow in your brother’s footsteps.”
Hearing Jay’s suggestion, a smile creeped up on your face. You closed your eyes and tightened your arms around his body, nuzzling your face to his neck.
“I married the right man,” you mumbled, taking in his scent.
Jay smiled and moved his head to kiss your temple. “Aren’t you glad?”
You pinched Jay’s waist as a response to his remark and he winced before letting out a hearty laugh. Your nose brushed against his chin as you attempted to kiss his jawline.
“So, ultimately I get to decide because it’s my body, right?”
Jay hummed as he squeezed you tighter, trailing his hands down from your hips to your ass.
“There’s a part of me that’s yours too, though,” you whispered, resting your head on his shoulder and looking at him through his reflection again.
“Your heart?” Jay replied.
You let out a breathy chuckle as you shook your head. “God, you’re such a romantic.”
Confused, Jay pulled away from you to look you in the eyes. You grabbed his hand from behind your waist and guided his palm to touch you between your legs.
“Oooh,” Jay reacted, nodding his head. “I get it now.”
“Idiot,” you muttered, pulling his face in for a deep kiss.
Jay kissed you passionately, pressing his body onto yours until you had to arch your back, feeling his hands squeezing your ass. You held his face firmly, moving your lips in sync with his and letting your tongues dance together. He bit your lower lip gently and you chuckled softly.
“Minty,” you commented.
Jay smiled and pecked your cheek three times. “Better than morning breath, right?”
You grinned and shook your head as you took his hand in yours and led him to the bed. You sat down on the edge, and he watched as you began to undress, leaving nothing on your body. You then wondered why he was just standing there doing nothing.
“Baby?” you called. “What’s wrong?”
Jay shook his head, never taking his eyes off your body. “You’re just so beautiful.”
You scoffed. “You’ve seen me naked a million times…”
“Take the compliment, Y/N.”
The tone in the way he said your name made you visibly blush. You brought your hands up to cover your mouth because you did not want to let Jay see your stupid grin.
“And you’re a professional panty-dropper, Jay, so please just get naked with me.”
Jay laughed at your ridiculous remark, and you laughed with him, waiting patiently until he got rid of all his clothes. When he was finally naked, he lifted you up by your waist and you shrieked as he moved you to the center of the bed.
“Sssh!” Jay said in a hurry, bringing one hand to cover your mouth. “I think your brother is still awake.”
“Jay, we’re adults, they are adults, they know what we’re doing anyway.”
“Yeah,” Jay replied, his hand moving to caress your face. “But if I had a sister, I wouldn’t love it if I could hear her getting railed.”
You groaned in disgust and Jay just laughed, burying his face in the crook of your neck. “Are we doing this or what?” you complained, lightly slapping his arm.
“Be quiet for me, okay?” Jay said as he began rubbing your waist.
“I thought you liked to hear me moan,” you complained, pouting.
Jay let out a moan of frustration and you chuckled before he silenced you by shutting your mouth with his. You both smiled into the kiss before you felt his hand squeezing your ass and moving down to spread your legs. The soft chuckles you let out turned into whimpers, and your body twitched whenever Jay put pressure on your folds with his fingers.
“Jay,” you called out breathlessly after minutes of him playing with your cunt. “I want you.”
He kissed your cheek and let his lips linger there for a moment before he whispered in your ear. “I know.”
Jay coated his fingers with your arousal and spread it all over his shaft. You licked your lips in anticipation as he aligned himself with you, and you took a deep breath as you felt him enter you. Your mouth hung open and your eyes closed, and as Jay began thrusting in and out of you, he intertwined his fingers with yours, placing your hand above your head.
He knew what he had to do to make you moan, he knew all the right buttons to push, so out of courtesy, tonight he took it agonizingly slow. Every deep and slow thrust he made only made your breath hitch, and the loudest sound you let out was a whimper. You felt his hand grab your thigh and you instantly wrapped your legs around his waist.
His chest was pressed onto yours, and the heat of his body was enveloping you and beginning to cloud your senses. You could feel his cock twitch inside of you whenever you clenched harder, and you were delighted to hear his soft little grunts by your ear when it happened. His arms flexed as he continued to hover on top of you, and you started to caress his shoulders to soothe him.
“I’m close, baby,” you whispered, grasping his shoulders.
“Cum for me first, love,” he replied, brushing your hair back.
Jay leaned into you and began sucking on your neck softly, knowing just the right thing to make you reach your high faster. He noticed your body tensing and he sucked harder, deciding not to worry about the mark that would be left on your skin. As you climaxed, you whined near his ear and he calmly shushed you, kissing your cheek.
“I love you,” he mumbled, lips brushing yours. “So much.”
You felt him release his seed inside of you and you hooked your feet together, pushing his body even closer to yours. His hips rutted and he groaned softly into your ear, so you brought your hands up and entangled your fingers in his hair. Jay licked his lips before he pushed himself up to get a look at your face.
“I love you,” you mouthed, smiling when he leaned in to kiss your lips.
Jay smiled and carefully pulled out of you. When he moved to the side, he placed one hand over your core, and as he felt his cum dripping out of you, he slid a finger over it and stuffed it back into your cunt. You almost hissed at the feeling, grabbing onto his shoulder again.
“Wouldn’t want to waste a single drop,” Jay whispered, kissing your chin. “Also, I don’t want to dirty these expensive looking sheets.”
You laughed but it came out as a snort, and Jay found it hilarious that his body began to shake with the silent laugh that he let out.
“Not too loud!” Jay half-whispered, half-shouted.
“At this point my brother is going to think we’re just watching Netflix in bed,” you whispered back.
“That might seem like a better option,” Jay replied, bringing his hand back to your waist and squeezing it softly. “Do you need another shower?”
You shook your head. “I kind of like the feeling of being sweaty after having sex with you.”
Jay smiled, proudly. “Good. Me too.”
---
The ride to the office was quiet since both you and Jay were busy with your own gadgets. Jay was reviewing a presentation that he had made, while you were checking unread messages on your phone. Your hand stopped scrolling once you read a status from an old friend, and you immediately set your phone gently on your lap and brought one hand to cover your mouth.
“Is something wrong?” Jay asked, noticing the shift in your gestures.
“An old friend from college passed away,” you muttered, moving your hand to massage your temple. “I knew that she was sick, but I haven’t checked on her over a month.”
Jay deemed that the situation was too delicate for him to even comment, so he set his iPad down and grabbed your hand. He held you tightly, intertwining your fingers and caressing your hand with his thumb. Once you adjusted your seat and took a deep breath, he looked at you carefully before he spoke.
“If you wish to visit her family, I can cover for you,” Jay said, looking at the road ahead.
“It’s all the way in Busan,” you replied, already sounding so defeated.
“I’ll book you a flight.” Jay squeezed your hand before letting go. “We’re here. I’ll ask Hwiyoung to sit in for the meeting while I handle the rest of it.”
“I’ll be on standby, Miss,” Mr. Lee chimed in, smiling at you through the rearview mirror.
You sat still in your seat as Jay grabbed his bag and opened the door. Mr. Lee even turned around slightly to look at you both.
“I got this, Y/N.” Jay leaned into you and kissed your cheek. “Mr. Lee, if you don’t mind would you kindly drive her back home so she can pack? I’ll text you the details of the flight later.”
Mr. Lee nodded and waited for Jay to close the door. He then rolled down the window for you and Jay bent over to look at you. You had tears welling up in your eyes and you could only mouth ‘thank you’ to him. He smiled at you and blew you a kiss before standing up straight and turning around.
---
The day went by in a flash. You arrived just in time for your friend’s funeral, and you were glad that you chose to wear all black when you were getting dressed earlier in the morning. After giving your condolences to the family, you had to stick around for a meal and ended up meeting other friends that you met back in college. The brief catch-up was quite pleasant, but you left with a heavy heart.
Jay decided to pick you up from the airport himself, since you insisted on flying back the same night instead of the next morning. You did not have to wait long until your car pulled up, and when you hopped in, Jay leaned over to place a soft kiss on your cheek. He let you both sit in silence, knowing that it wasn’t the right time to be asking you a bunch of questions. At almost every red light, when Jay’s hand was idle, you intertwined your fingers with his and he gave you a reassuring squeeze before the light turned green again.
When you arrived home, Jay quietly took your bag and your jacket and waited for you to walk ahead of him towards the house. He began tidying up a little as he let you unwind and do your own thing, and he turned on the jazz instrumental playlist that you had displayed on the TV. You checked on him once in a while as you took your make up off and undressed to get into the shower, and you saw him cozied up on the sofa with a book. You had no idea that the respectful silence he gave you would make you feel comforted and guilty at the same time.
You still had a towel wrapped around your head as you walked towards him in your new silk pajama set. He looked up from his book, and before he could say anything, you spoke first.
“Namjoon was there.”
You noticed the subtle shift of emotion in his eyes before he straightened his position and made room for you to sit.
“My friend,” you began, “may she rest in peace, was the one who introduced me to him, so it would be weird if he wasn’t there.”
Jay looked at you and found you staring blankly at the coffee table in front of you.
“Everyone else was there too. Some I haven’t seen in years, and they thought that Namjoon and I were still a thing.”
You could hear rustling beside you and you noticed that Jay was quietly putting his book away.
“We talked a lot, all of us. And just the two of us too. It was nothing important…”
You began to realize that Jay had been quiet for longer than usual, and it had never happened before, so you stopped mid-sentence.
“Please say something,” you whispered, almost to yourself.
Without a word, Jay moved closer to you and pulled you into his embrace. You cried, staining his shirt with your tears, and as you were shaking in his arms, he tried his best to console you with his warmth. He rubbed his hands along your arms and your back while he repeatedly whispered ‘it’s okay’ into your ear.
“You’ve had a long day,” he finally said, pulling away from you. “You need to get some rest.”
“You’re not mad?” You asked, eyes still teary yet beaming at him.
“Why would I be?” Jay replied, wiping his thumb along your cheek. “Go to bed, I’ll be with you in a minute.”
You nodded and let Jay help you stand up before you turned and headed towards the bedroom. After getting rid of your towel and sliding underneath the blanket, you realized that Jay was probably going to take some time to wash up, so you decided to go on your phone and backtrack the chats and interactions that you had with your friend.
First, you went to your phone’s gallery, but you could barely find any pictures of the two of you, so you went to your cloud storage to dig for pictures dating back to more than a decade ago. You found screenshots of your chats with her, and you made yourself laugh as you reread the chaotic conversations you used to have. Your weak smile was instantly replaced with faint sobs as you let the thought sink in—that you were never going to have a chat with your friend again.
You almost jumped from the bed when you felt Jay’s arms sneak around your waist. With one hand, he gently took your phone away from you, setting it on the end table. He then pulled you into his arms, caging you completely. You could not muster a word out of your mouth, so you brought one of his hands to your lips and kissed it, leaving a tear-stained mark on the back of his hand.
---
You woke up to complete silence. The sun was already shining brightly, and you did not have to squint since the curtains in your bedroom were left closed. It took you a couple of seconds to register the faint noise in the background, seemingly coming from the kitchen. As you turned to look at Jay’s side of the bed, you found it empty, and you saw a note sitting on top of his pillow.
“Be ready for breakfast once you wake up,” it said.
Smiling to yourself, you shoved your blanket away and went straight to the bathroom to wash up. All you did was brush your teeth and wash your face and put on the quick version of your morning skincare routine. You changed into a new crop tee but left your pajama pants on, thinking that you look pretty enough from your torso and up.
Your slippers made a muffled sound and as you reached the kitchen, Jay turned around to face you. He gave you a big smile before plating the pancakes he just made on a plate for the both of you. You chuckled when you saw your plate with perfectly stacked pancakes and garnish that was obviously carefully put, while Jay’s plate had three stacks of pancakes that almost looked like the leaning tower of Pisa with the fruits haphazardly spread around the edges.
“Perfect timing,” Jay said, wiping his hands with a tea towel before taking his apron off. “Good morning, my love.”
You walked towards the counter but completely ignored the breakfast. Instead, you took a couple more steps to reach your husband and threw yourself into his arms.
“It’s always a good morning if I wake up to the sound of you,” you murmured, lips touching his neck. You could hear him chuckle softly.
“I’ve trained myself to be only slightly noisy if I wake up before you,” Jay replied. “Now let’s dig in.”
You shook your head, bumping it with his shoulder. Jay had to take a step back to look at you with furrowed eyebrows.
“Have I told you lately that I love you?” You asked, tilting your head.
Jay smiled before pecking your lips. “Even if you don’t tell me, I already know.”
You hummed as you let him pepper soft kisses all over your face. “So can I still show you even if I don’t tell you?”
Now it was Jay who was tilting his head. “What do you mean?”
You sighed and shook your head gently. Then you placed a hand to cup Jay’s face and kissed him on the chin. “Take the hint, Jay.”
“Uhm,” Jay gulped. His eyes fluttered shut as he felt your lips trailing wet kisses along his jawline. “Okay.”
You both laughed at his awkward response but then Jay quickly silenced you with his lips. The way he kissed you with force made you arch your back, almost losing balance, but his arm was firmly wrapped around your waist. With every aggressive kiss that landed on your face, he took a step forward until he cornered you to the counter.
“Thank God our kitchen is huge,” Jay whispered, picking you up by your waist and making you sit on the counter.
You giggled and nodded, resting your arms on his shoulders. He stood between your legs and stared at you for a while, eventually making you blush and look away.
“My gorgeous, gorgeous wife,” he said, cupping your face and turning your head to face him again. “How did I get so lucky?”
“I could ask myself the same thing,” you replied. You did not blink as you grazed your lips along his.
When Jay latched his mouth onto yours, your hands immediately slid down his biceps and made their way to his abs, lingering for a second before you slipped one hand into his pants. He gasped slightly against your lips as he felt your fingers wrap around his hardened length.
“Good morning to you, Sir.”
Jay almost snorted at your remark, but he quickly set the mood again by resting the palms of his hands on your ass and squeezing them. You yelped at the gesture and buried your face in his neck to laugh wholeheartedly. Jay managed to find his way back to your lips, kissing you endlessly, passionately, like you were the only thing he needed to breathe in.
Everything else went by so fast but so slow at the same time, you felt. In mere seconds, Jay got rid of his pants and yours too, and the next thing you remember was him thrusting into you at a frustratingly slow pace. You wanted him to go fast, but you also wanted to savor every moment. You wanted him to go hard, but you also wanted to feel every part of your skin light up whenever he touched you, or whenever he twitched inside of you.
Jay kept the slow pace as he rested his forehead against yours. He was breathing through his mouth, and you could feel the air around you turn into his scent. His sweat trickled down his face, and you caressed his cheek and rested your hand there, closing your eyes while you bask in the feeling of being completely enveloped in his warmth.
Your moans were repetitive in his ear, but there was no sound that he wanted to hear more. The way you grabbed on his shirt and bunched the fabric in your fist just made him want to thrust into you more, to be deep inside you even more. He placed a hand on the small of your back, gently pushing you more towards him, and you wrapped your legs around his waist and latched your feet together, locking him in.
“Jay,” you whimpered, slowly losing your breath.
“I got you, baby,” Jay replied, kissing the back of your ear.
You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and felt him rut his hips into yours, and seconds later you felt the warmth of his cum coat your insides. Jay tilted his head to kiss your neck and suck your soft skin a little more intensely, sending you to your own high too.
You both stayed in the same position, panting almost in unison. When you felt him starting to pull away, you placed a hand on his back.
“Stay,” you whispered. “For a bit.”
Jay adjusted his position and placed his palms on the counter, lifting his head to look at you. His smile looked tired, so you gently caressed his face and brushed his hair back.
“Jay,” you began speaking in the softest voice you could muster. You saw his eyes lock with yours. “I need you to know that I’m yours. Heart, body, mind, and soul.”
Your statement was merely met with a blink of his eyes, so you decided to elaborate.
“I know I might not say it as much as you do, but I truly love you. And I might not show it in the same way as you do, and I don’t know why, but I try to, and…”
Your sentence was put to a halt because of your sealed lips. Jay pulled back from your lips with a smack.
“I know,” he said. “Believe me, I do. So don’t you worry.”
You had to fight back tears from streaming down your face again, so you pulled him into another hug. He took in your scent and breathed against your shoulder.
“I’m yours too,” he mumbled. “Completely.”
---
The next months, you swore, went by in the blink of an eye. The last quarter of the year was always the busiest period for almost any company, and it included yours. You were having back-to-back meetings, flights to cities you had never been before, and you also had to supervise a new group of interns that your staff had hired.
Jay was surely the most valuable person through it all. He always made sure you were taken care of, both at the office and at home. He also kept a close monitor of his own health, claiming that he could not take care of you if he was not in his best condition. He would forget small things occasionally, but you never gave him hell for it.
You found yourself more accommodating as well, saying yes to almost everything he suggests related to your best interest. You had been having fewer arguments, but more comfortable silences. All in all, the hustle and bustle of your daily lives somehow made your relationship even better.
Until that one fateful day, where you had to attend an important meeting that clashed with another scheduled meeting in your office. After a slight panic in rearranging things, you decided to delegate Jay to the meeting outside so you can handle the one in your building. Luckily, Yeji was right by your side to take over Jay’s usual position.
You were feeling off from the minute you woke up, but you tried your best to hide it because it was an important day. Jay had even more things to worry about too, so he wasn’t exactly as attentive as other days. In fact, you managed to breathe a sigh of relief the moment he told you he was leaving for the meeting.
The sharp stabbing feeling on top of your left eye did not wear off as you tried your best to focus on the presentation. Yeji glanced at you whenever you brought a hand to touch your forehead, and eventually you did it so many times that she just had to ask.
“Are you alright, Miss?” She leaned into you, trying to keep her voice low.
You nodded gently. “I think I need to use the restroom.”
The large meeting room was on the floor above your office, so it would take too long if you used your private bathroom. You turned your heels towards the women’s restroom, gently letting the door go and close behind you.
It took a while for Yeji to notice that you were taking a bit too long. She only noticed after the other attendees started getting restless because they expected to hear direct feedback from you. Yeji then quickly stood up and excused herself to go fetch you from the bathroom.
“Miss?” She called, pushing the door open.
You had your head down facing the sink, and your hands were grasping the edge of the counter so hard that your knuckles were turning white.
“Miss?” Yeji started to sound worried. “Miss, are you—”
Your hand slipped and you almost hit your head on the floor as you slowly slumped, but you could hear Yeji’s breath hitch as she desperately tried to reach you before you could hurt yourself.
“Miss!”
You were losing your vision, but you felt your head resting on Yeji’s lap. You heard Yeji saying that your lips were so pale and your hands were cold as ice. In the midst of her panic, and feeling her body rustle under you as she reached for her phone in her pocket, you could feel your consciousness slipping away.
“Park, please,” Yeji said into the phone, almost breaking into a sob. “She’s about to faint.”
You could hear Jay’s faint sound through the phone, asking about your location, and the next thing you knew everything was black for a short moment. When you opened your eyes again, Yeji’s lap was replaced by Jay’s, and before you could register anything else, you threw up all over his chest.
“It’s okay,” Jay muttered despite being worried sick himself. “I’m here, just let it out.”
You blinked several times and saw Yeji holding her phone and furiously typing on it as she stood by the entrance, also holding the restroom door open with her body. You looked up at Jay and you had never seen the type of expression he was wearing on his face.
He brought up one hand to your face to wipe the vomit off your chin, but he was clearly trembling. “Yeji,” he said before clearing his throat. “Medic?”
“On their way,” Yeji replied in an instant. “Should I—”
“I’ll carry her down,” Jay said, carelessly wiping his shirt with a paper towel that Yeji gave him.
“I’ll come with you,” she said after she was done typing on her phone.
Jay was now rushing, seeing that you had closed your eyes again. “Stay back and notify the people at the meeting,” he said, grunting as he picked you up in his arms. “In both meetings, actually. I had to leave mine too. I’ll meet you in the hospital.”
Yeji nodded and held the door open as wide as possible to let Jay pass with you in his arms.
---
The consistent sound of the repetitive beep on your left was what made you wake up. You blinked and looked to your side, only to find Yeji’s eyes widening as she slowly stood up.
“Miss,” she said softly. “Stay here, I’ll go get a doctor and find Park, okay?”
You gave her a faint smile and then chuckled to yourself. It wasn’t like you could move anyway. You had an IV drip inserted into your hand and your body still felt heavy. You stared at the ceiling for a while and then noticed that the walls were painted a nice shade of ivory, and a moment later you heard the sound of footsteps rushing towards the door.
Jay entered first, locking eyes with you instantly as he made his way to your side. He took your free hand and made you cup his face. He still looked worried, and you couldn’t tell if the sparkle in his eyes were tears that he was holding back or the reflection of the lights.
You were so focused on Jay that you didn’t notice the doctor speaking to Yeji on the other side of the bed. Their muffled voices slowly became clearer to you, and you were able to make out the last part of her sentence.
“…at least until the baby comes,” you heard her say, clutching the stethoscope around her neck.
You turned to look at Yeji’s direction and you felt Jay’s hand squeeze yours gently. “What?” You asked, the only word you managed to let out.
Yeji covered her wide smile with both her hands and looked at both you and Jay. There was a brief exchange of glances before Yeji and the doctor excused themselves, leaving you and Jay alone.
“You knew?” You asked Jay, watching him get comfortable as he leaned on the bed closer to you.
“I did have a short conversation with the doctor before you woke up. Before that, I didn’t. I’m sorry I didn’t notice the signs, my love.”
Your eyebrows began to furrow, and the grip you had on Jay’s hand began to loosen. Jay quickly reached for your hand with both of his, stroking the back of your hand with his thumb.
“It’ll be okay,” Jay said. “We’ve got this.”
“It’s not what we planned,” you croaked. You could already feel the tears welling up again. In all honesty, you were not sure how to feel.
“We can adapt,” Jay replied. “It’s what we do best.”
You watched as Jay lifted your hand and gently brought it to his lips, kissing your hand and lingering for a while as he closed his eyes. You felt his breath on your skin, the warmth of his hands, and as he opened his eyes you knew he was happy, and that was why his eyes sparkled.
Trying your best, you reached out both arms towards him and he immediately scooted closer, helping you sit up to properly embrace you. You sobbed softly as you rested your head on his shoulder, and he calmly rubbed your back and your sides as he showered you with words of affirmation.
Once he was certain you had calmed down, he pulled away and kept his hands on your shoulders.
“Alright, love?” He asked, bringing his hand to your chin to tilt it up.
“Your shirt smells like vomit,” you replied weakly before turning your frown into a smile.
Jay chuckled silently and moved closer to leave a kiss on your forehead, and in that instant, you felt a thousand times better.

Aemond Masterlist
You woke in a panic as a hand that was certainly not yours covered your mouth and prevented you from screaming.
Your eyes widened and your ineffective frantic efforts to fight back lessened as you saw who woke you.
At the recognition in your eyes he raised his brow in a silent question of your compliance.
“If I take my hand away, will you scream?” he whispered.
You reluctantly shook your head even as you glared at him.
He did as promised and you took a deep breath as you attempted to calm the sharp panic that flowed through you.
“What the hell are you doing here, Aemond?” you hissed.
“I am here to rescue you,” he said as he sat back on your bed and pulled you up to a sitting position.
“Rescue me? I never asked to be rescued,” you snapped at him, wide eyed and confused.
“Regardless, you are coming with me, sweetheart,” he said with a roll of his eye and enough sarcasm to raise your blood pressure.
“No, I’m not. Get out of here before I’m caught with a man in my room the night before my wedding,” you said through clenched teeth as you attempted to extricate yourself from his hands as he held your wrist and shoulder.
His grip only tightened.
“There will be no wedding,” he replied shortly and you wanted to smack the stupid eyepatch off his face.
“So you are capturing me then. Who are you to dictate my future?”
He stared at you with a deadpan look that you were all too familiar with.
“Your capturer, obviously. Is that not how being captured works?” he drawled.
You huffed indignantly.
“Are you going to be compliant or will you make this whole ordeal more miserable than it has to be?” he asked as he stood and pulled you out of the bed with him.
“The second option,” you snipped back.
He sighed dramatically even as he threw you over his shoulder unexpectedly and you let out an indignant squeak in surprise.
“Be quiet,” he hissed.
“No! If you do not put me down I will scream, I swear it. I will screech and holler and-”
The wind was taken out of you as he suddenly dropped you down on your bed once more.
“Quiet! You will get us caught!,” he whispered angrily.
“Yes, my prince, that is pretty much the point,” you said with a roll of your eyes.
He pursed his lips in anger as he pulled out a knife.
Your eyes widened once again in fear, but he used it to cut fabric off the sheet on your bed and then wrapped it across your mouth and tied it on the back of your head.
You let out a muffled curse of anger and he smirked in satisfaction.
“Now, do I need to tie your hands and feet together as well or will you be a good little captive and come with me willingly?”
You merely glared at him and folded your arms across your chest in a small act of defiance.
You knew that you were incapable of fighting him off physically. The last time you saw him was about a year and a half ago and even then as you watched him train you were taken back by how quick and lethal he had become.
“Good,” he said with a small upcurve of his lips and hauled you over his shoulder once more.
_______________
After much sneaking, he made it out of the fortress and crept around to the side where a horse waited for him.
The moon was at the dark phase of her cycle and it was nearly pitch black.
He pulled you off his shoulder and placed you on the ground surprisingly gently and slowly which caused your breath to catch.
As your body slid down the length of his you tried to remind yourself that you hate him.
You never were very good at believing that particular lie, no matter how many times you told yourself.
He pulled the cloth off your mouth. There was a soft look in his eye.
You looked over at the horse and then back at him.
“Where is Vhagar?” you asked.
He pursed his lips in annoyance and looked up at the sky as if he were cursing you inside his mind.
“It would not exactly be inconspicuous to have the largest dragon in the world here with me, now would it?”
You narrowed your eyes at him as you placed your hands on your hips.
“She waits for us, but it is a few days' journey on horseback to reach her,” he explained.
“This is the worst kidnapping I’ve ever been a part of,” you muttered.
He ignored you, even as he shook his head and moved past you to the horse.
He ran his hand across its mane and then pulled a bundle of clothes out of the saddle bag.
He thrust them at you and turned back to the horse.
“Dress quickly. We need to leave immediately,” he ordered.
You didn’t have a retort as you truly were grateful for the warm clothes and quickly shucked off your nightgown and redressed in them.
You were surprised to find that he had given you trousers as opposed to a dress, but you supposed it made sense given the long and cold journey ahead of you. You were grateful for the multiple layers and warmth they provided you.
You traded your slippers for thick socks and boots and with a small clearing of your throat he turned back to survey your work.
He nodded and pulled your hood over your head, his touch surprisingly gentle, just as his had been firmly pulled over his shock of white hair to hide it.
He helped you onto the horse and then sat right behind you.
The heat of his chest warmed your back as his body was pressed tightly against yours.
He clicked his tongue and the horse started at a gallop, and soon it was a sprint.
You and your captor made your way south towards King’s Landing without detection.
_______________
As the sun began to rise your eyes drooped and your head fell back against Aemond’s shoulder.
“If you fall asleep and tumble off the horse I shall be incredibly cross with you,” he drawled and you huffed.
“You dragged me out of my bed in the middle of the night, how do you expect me to not be tired?”
He sighed.
“We will stop soon, but we need to get as much distance between us and your former betrothed,” he said firmly.
You decided to try to annoy him with your silence. It always used to work when you were children. Sure, Aemond was one who appreciates silence, but not when it was due to your anger at him. He never used to be able to handle it when you were mad at him.
But, oh, how times have changed.
“What? No withering retort?” he demanded.
You maintained your silence.
“Hm. Glorious silence. I would have kidnapped you earlier if I knew it was the price of such blessed quiet,” he said with a dark chuckle.
You rolled your eyes but refused to speak.
He sighed softly at his failed attempts to bait you into conversation.
You smirked in satisfaction.
_______________
Hours later you finally said, “I thought you said we would stop soon.”
He laughed spitefully. “I thought you weren’t speaking to me.”
You sighed.
“Up here looks like a safe place to rest for a little while,” he said softly as he led the horse off the path and further into the woods.
You sat and ate your meal of bread, dried meat, and hard cheese while you watched him pull various items out of the saddle bags.
He laid a blanket out on the ground and gestured towards it.
You watched him warily and did not move.
“Honestly, are you really going to be angry with me the entirety of this trip?” he asked as he sat down and crossed his long legs.
“Trip? This isn’t a trip, Aemond. You stole me from the home of my betrothed!”
He sighed and rolled his eye.
“You are such a prick,” you seethed.
“It is not as if you wished to marry him! Look me in the eye and truthfully tell me you desired to be wed to that sack of shit and I will betray my brother’s orders and take you back immediately.”
You looked down at your hands as you fidgeted and ripped apart the bread nervously.
You could not tell him what he asked of you.
You didn’t want to look up and see the smirk that surely adorned his lips.
“It was my duty,” you said softly, weakly.
“You used to care little for duty,” he said, his voice velvety smooth, the way it always did when he felt assured he had won an argument.
“Yes, well I grew up, Aemond. I learned that I must do what was expected of me in order to survive,” you rasped as tears began to fill your eyes.
You risked a glance up at you and his expression was hard, but there was a flicker of remorse and concern in his eye.
You looked away.
He sighed.
“Rest. I’ll wake you in a few hours so we can continue our journey,” he said and you nodded.
You returned the remainder of your food to the saddle bag and as you laid on the blanket, Aemond laid another on top of you.
You didn’t get a chance to say anything as he immediately turned and walked a few paces away to sit on watch.
Sleep quickly found you.
_______________
You woke, once again, to Aemond startling you awake.
It was becoming a habit for him, one you loathed.
He hissed your name and shook your shoulder as he crouched over you.
You looked at him and opened your mouth but he shook his head and whispered, “There’s a group of men coming this way. We need to be prepared.”
You nodded even as your heart began to pound.
As quickly as you could, you helped him pack up the supplies.
He pulled up his hood and you followed suit before he helped you up onto the horse.
He was soon behind you and grabbed the reins.
“I don’t have to remind you that betraying me and taking your chances with random men would be a horribly stupid decision, do I?” he murmured in your ear as four men on horses neared the two of you as you returned to the path in the forest.
The thought had of course crossed your mind. But you at least knew Aemond to be relatively honorable. You didn’t have the same assurances of the strange men you were soon to encounter.
“No,” you breathed out.
“Good. Take your hood down. Perhaps if they are distracted by how pretty you are they will not ask many questions of us,” he whispered.
Your heart thumped harder within your chest.
You did as he asked.
“Would it not have been wiser to keep hiding?” you murmured back as the men were close enough to properly view them.
You gulped in fear.
“We were not very well hidden. And besides, it is always better to meet potential enemies prepared and on your feet,” he said quietly, his mouth close to your ear.
“Hello there!” one of the men called out as he raised his hand in a wave.
Aemond waved back.
They met you in the road and Aemond pulled the horse to a halt.
“Where are you lot headed?” the man asked in a thick accent and a too curious gleam in his eye.
“My wife and I are headed south towards the city to find better work,” Aemond replied curtly.
You kept your expression neutral though you wanted to scowl at him calling you his wife.
“Not much work in the city. You may have to go further,” one of the men called out.
“Thank you for the suggestion. We’ll take it into consideration,” Aemond replied and indicated the horse to continue forward.
“Have I seen you somewhere before?” the man in the back asked, and he was looking directly at you.
You shook your head, but did not speak for fear that your shaky voice would betray you.
“I highly doubt it. My wife and I have lived very remote for the last few years. But she does have the type of beauty that feels familiar to many,” he said and one hand curled around your hip protectively.
“Safe travels,” he then said before they could reply and continued his guidance of the horse forward and past the group of men.
“To you as well,” one of the men replied but there was something in his voice that pricked at the back of your neck.
You turned and watched the men as they rode in the opposite direction.
Once they were out of sight you heaved a sigh of relief and slumped back into his body.
He buried his face in your neck and hair and hummed softly.
“I do not think they believed our story. We must make haste as well as change our route, otherwise we may find more trouble,” Aemond said.
You allowed yourself a few more moments of comfort from his touch before you sat up straighter and put as much space between the two of you that riding together on a horse would allow, which wasn’t very much.
“Okay,” you said shakily.
_______________
Trouble found you not much later in the form of a viciously cold thunderstorm.
Harsh rain turned into ice as it pelted your skin. The cold cut through and seeped into your bones.
Aemond had already led the horse off the beaten path and through the woods, a lesser known path he claimed to be familiar with.
The trees did not provide enough protection from the weather, however.
Hooded cloaks could only do so much to prevent one from becoming soaked.
As quickly as possible, but also after what felt like an eternity, Aemond spotted a shallow cave on the side of a large hill.
It was protected enough from the elements to provide a reprieve.
You pulled off your cloak and found that your shirt was not as wet as you expected, the same however could not be said for your pants.
At the look on your face Aemond said, “I do not have any additional clothes for either of us. You should still remove them and let them dry.”
You glared at him.
“I will freeze to death.”
He tossed you the blankets.
“You’ll freeze quicker wearing cold wet clothes.”
You pursed your lips together but could not deny the logic of what he said.
You laid out one of the blankets and then looked over your shoulder to see him murmuring softly to the horse.
You unlaced and slid your feet out of your boots, grateful they had protected your thick socks enough that they were still dry, then shucked off your wet trousers.
You laid them beside your cloak in an attempt to allow them to dry before you laid on top of the blanket and pulled the second blanket firmly over you to protect your modesty.
“This storm will surely delay us. Hopefully it passes during the night,” Aemond said.
“What will happen to me when we arrive at our destination?” you asked in a small voice.
He turned back and looked at you in concern.
“Do you imagine I would drag you to some horrific fate?” he said, replying to your question with another question.
You turned over so your back was facing him, partially to give him privacy to undress and partially to avoid his gaze as you spoke.
“I… I do not know you as I once did,” you murmured.
“Hm,” he hummed in discontent as he laid beside you.
“Though we grew apart, I would never wish you ill,” he said finally.
“Grew apart?” you scoffed.
He sighed.
“Your former betrothed had already sworn himself to my sister. The plan is to end your prior engagement and wed you to an ally of my brother. That way your father’s arm is twisted into remaining our ally rather than switching sides in this impending war,” he said.
The silence after he spoke felt heavy. The only sounds were the pouring rain as it beat against your small hiding place and your heartbeat as it pounded.
Finally you spoke slowly, “I was right before. This truly is the worst kidnapping I’ve ever been a part of.”
A huff of hair fell past his lips, it almost sounded like a laugh.
“It was Aegon’s plan and nothing I attempted to counsel could dissuade him,” he said.
“My father will be furious,” you said, your voice shaky as shivers wracked your body. Even under the blanket, the cold felt inescapable.
“Less so if you are agreeable to your new betrothed,” he murmured.
You suddenly felt the heat of him against your back and squeaked in surprise as he wrapped a strong arm around your waist and pulled you against him.
“Hush. I cannot possibly sleep with your teeth clattering so loudly as you shiver,” he said haughtily.
You were stiff for a moment but too quickly felt yourself relax and melt into his body and the warmth he provided.
You could not even be angry with him, for you were far too comfortable.
“Who is to be my new betrothed?” you asked quietly, after a few moments of silence.
You waited for his response.
Finally he said, “I do not know.”
You weren’t quite certain if you believed him, but exhaustion weighed heavy upon you and wrapped in his warmth you were swiftly pulled into unconsciousness.
_______________
You were floating, for now, though you began to fear as water rose and rose around you. Then you were flailing as a hand wrapped around your ankle and attempted to pull you down.
You fought your hardest, but you were powerless against the strength of that hand.
You ran out of air and attempted to breathe, but choked on salty water, and attempted to scream but no sounds came out.
You were being pulled into inky depths until fire surrounded you, turning the water into mist and you could breathe, you could breathe in deep as hot dry air that filled your lungs.
The fire twirled, danced around you and burned the hand that attempted to drown you.
You were free, and as you sobbed in relief, the fire licked at your cheek, never burning - never hurting, and dried the tears on your cheeks.
A voice murmured your name, and so you reached a hand for that voice, up and away from the dark murky water.
“We need to go,” Aemond said, his voice urgent as he shook your shoulder.
You groaned and attempted to pull the blanket over your head, but it was tugged from your grip.
You opened one eye and found the object of your ire as he knelt beside you, staring at you with one eyebrow up, judgment clear on his face.
“You really are a horribly deep sleeper, it is near impossible to wake you, it is no wonder you were so easily captured,” he mused then stood and pulled the blanket completely off you.
“Asshole” you seethed as you yanked down your shirt where it had rucked up enough to show your underclothes.
He winked at you as he turned around to give you the privacy to redress. You clenched your teeth in anger as you held back your retort.
You groaned internally as you realized it was still raining. It was certainly no longer storming as it had been only hours before, if your level of exhaustion was any indication, but it still rained rather heavily.
You were in for what would certainly be another miserable day if your pounding head and Aemond’s chipper attitude were any indication.
You swiftly pulled on your pants, boots, and cloak and trudged back into the rain.
_______________
The rain slowed and stopped sometime early in the morning.
The conversation between you and Aemond did the same after one too many snippy comments from you. And also him. The tension was rather strong.
It had been so long that there was anger and hurt feelings between the two of you that you hardly remembered the love and friendship that was once there.
No, that was a lie. It haunted you. There was a reason you had been unable to stand his presence for years without nearly biting his head off.
When you were children he had been your best friend, your childhood crush, your biggest ally and confidant. Until all of that love turned into hurt feelings and resentment.
You had entirely too much time this morning to ruminate on the past, and the thought occurred to you that maybe you should discuss it with him and attempt to put it behind you.
You turned and looked back at him.
It frustrated you endlessly that a part of you that you had attempted to squash for years was attracted to him.
It was not lost on you that the boy you grew up with had become a dashing, lethal warrior.
With his sharp cheekbones and jawline and curved lips that were entirely too distracting…
“Why are you staring at me?” he asked dryly.
You huffed and turned back around.
This adventure had, to your utter dismay, softened your feelings towards the man who sat behind you, pressed against you, his long silver hair blowing around the two of you in the wind.
“Nothing,” you muttered.
You knew if you looked back you would see a smirk on his perfect lips and it ignited your anger once again.
You let silence fall and couldn’t find the courage within you to share your thoughts and feelings.
_______________
“Do you plan to stop any time today?” you complained.
“Surely you- shit,” he cut himself off and cursed as he snapped the reins and urged the horse to speed from a walk into a gallop.
He yanked his hood over his head.
“What is it?” you asked as you craned your head to see around his body.
“Shit,” you echoed him.
A group of about ten men on horses had rounded the hidden curve of the path behind the two of you.
“Do you think those are the suspicious assholes from before?” you asked worriedly.
Aemond pursed his lips into a thin line as he nodded stiffly.
“We can’t outrun them, not with two people on one horse,” he said.
“D-do we fight? I can’t fight. Oh my gods, Aemond you’re ruining my life. I should be married to a boring old man right now, not running for my life with my worst enemy-”
“Quiet, we are not going to fight, you ridiculous woman. We are going to act normal and do our best to talk our way out of this situation,” he said calmly as the men sped their horses and closed in on the two of you.
One man, the same man who didn’t stop staring at you the last time you saw him, led his horse directly in your path, causing Aemond to yank the reins of his horse.
The horse skidded to a stop abruptly and you gripped Aemond’s hand as your heart began to gallop in fear.
“Well hello again,” the man said with an all too knowing smile.
You gulped.
“Hello there, what a pleasant surprise to see you again,” Aemond replied.
The men chuckled darkly and you shivered.
Aemond placed a hand on your thigh and stroked his thumb back and forth in an effort to reassure you.
“It certainly is a truly pleasant surprise,” one of the men practically purred.
“Well, perhaps we can schedule a third meeting, but otherwise my wife and I have to get going,” Aemond said.
“Your wife, huh? I mentioned she looked familiar, didn’t I?”
“Hm,” Aemond hummed noncommittally.
You began to feel queasy and perhaps slightly lightheaded.
“Well, now there’s a ransom out for a runaway bride. The description matches your wife exactly.”
Your breaths became shallow as the men leered at you.
Aemond chuckled in a way that made him appear completely unconcerned.
“I am sorry to inform you that my wife and I have been married for years, so you must be mistaken,” he replied.
“Really? Because I think we would’ve heard if a Targaryen got married. Isn’t that right, Prince Aemond?,” the dark haired man said.
Your heart dropped into your stomach.
Shit. Shit. Shit.
You wish you were better at this.
Say something. Say anything, you screamed at yourself.
You were frozen, you were frozen, and you clung to Aemond’s hand as your only lifeline in your fear.
Good gods, you were tired of being afraid. It wasn’t just the cold terror you were experiencing. No, dread and fear had been a part of your life ever since Aemond had walked out of it when you were young. You feared rejection, your duties in life, your future.
So you made a decision right then and there, with tears pooling in your eyes, that you would never be afraid again.
You would fight, you would become a fighter, a warrior, whatever it took. Starting here and now.
“What do you want from us?” you asked sharply.
The men laughed once again and instead of fear slicing through you, it was anger.
“Well we would like a payday, pretty lady,” one of the men from the back said and they all gave you predators smiles.
“And I would like to go one day without a man being an absolute prick,” you snapped back.
The men’s faces hardened.
“Perhaps we could come to some sort of arrangement,” Aemond said and he gripped your waist.
“How about we capture you and sell you for ransom?” the man teased back.
“Not fucking again,” you said with gritted teeth.
You reached behind you and slowly pulled Aemond’s dagger out of the sheath at his waist.
His fingers brushed yours, but he didn’t stop you.
You weren’t certain what his plan contained, surely he had one, but you were sick of waiting.
Particularly after the men laughed in a way that made your skin crawl.
“She’s got a mouth on her. I like that,” one of the men said.
The knife flew from your hand and buried itself in the chest of the man blocking the path.
“Shit,” Aemond hissed as he snapped the reins and the horse launched herself forward.
The man slid off his horse with a thud, the horse neighed loudly in a panic and rose on its hind legs but you, Aemond, and your horse were already passing by.
The other men stared in shock which gave your horse enough time to get past the group of harassers.
Then the shouting began.
Aemond pulled out his sword as he shouted, “Take the reins!”
You did as he ordered and snapped them once more, the horse was now galloping at top speed.
You knew it wouldn’t be enough.
There was a clearing in the trees up ahead and as you saw a large shadow over it you looked back at Aemond, eyes widened in a silent question.
He nodded and you threw up a prayer to any gods listening that the two of you would make it.
His sword clashed with a man who caught up to the two of you.
You yanked another knife out of the saddle bag and turned just in time to see another man catching up with his sword out and pointing at you.
You aimed and let the dagger fly from your hand and watched it reach its mark directly between the attacker’s eyes.
You gasped a sigh of relief at the same time Aemond gutted the other man.
The clearing in the trees was closer.
“Do you have any more daggers?” you asked.
“No,” he said through gritted teeth as he engaged in another sword fight.
The wind tore at you as the horse raced at a breakneck speed.
Finally, just as the other men were nearly caught up and Aemond felled another foe, you reached the break in the trees and your horse sprinted through the clearing. As soon as you were clear, Vhagar appeared to fall from the sky with an ear shattering roar as she landed between you and your pursuers, crushing a few of them.
The ground shook hard enough that your teeth clattered and you tightened your grip on your horse.
“Dracarys Vhagar!” Aemond yelled.
Her roar turned into flame hot enough to turn your tormentors into ashes and you gasped in relief, a few tears slipping from your eyes.
You led the horse to slow and stopped and stared at Vhagar with wide eyes, both fearful and in awe.
Aemond slid off the horse before he helped you as well.
“Are you alright?” Aemond asked worriedly as he pulled you into his arms.
You allowed yourself to sink into his embrace for a count of five before you pulled away and pointed a finger in his face.
“I’m not done fighting. I am incredibly angry with you,” you said strongly.
He blinked in surprise.
“For capturing you and getting you into this situation?” he asked cautiously.
“No,” you said with a dismissive wave of the hand, “I’m over that. I think my actions have shown that.”
He raised his eyebrow at you, his only show of confusion.
“I’m angry at you for abandoning me,” you said heatedly as your breathing quickened and your eyes stung with tears.
“What?” he asked, his tone suddenly flat.
“You decided that obtaining a dragon meant you no longer had to concern yourself with the likes of those below you. And that is fuc-”
“That’s your version of the story?” he chuckled spitefully.
He leaned down so his gorgeous face was closer to yours.
“High talk for someone who was disgusted at being associated with a cripple,” he said, his lip curled in anger and his teeth clenched.
“What?” it was your turn to ask.
“Don’t lie to me,” he said, his anger becoming something vicious.
“I wouldn’t. I would never-”
“Aegon told me! He heard you talking to one of the other noble children and-”
“He lied! Your brother is a lying piece of shit!”
You were both breathing heavily, your faces merely inches apart.
“I…. He lied?” he asked.
“Yes, you asshole,” you seethed.
He licked his lips as he stared at you thoughtfully, the anger deflating from his face.
“I would never drop you just because I got a dragon, you were my closest and most cherished friend,” he said.
“And you were mine,” you admitted. “That’s why I was so angry and rude to you… which I regret.”
“I find myself full of feelings of regret as well. I was unaware of your side of the story,” he said softly.
“All that time wasted,” you said.
“Hm,” he hummed in agreement.
His face was still close to yours. There was a heat between the two of you that had not dissipated just because the anger was gone. Then you remembered your agreement with yourself.
You took a deep breath, “I don’t plan on wasting any more time. I’ve lived my life in fear for far too long. Fear of being rejected, fear of becoming too attached to anyone else, fear of fulfilling my duty, and fear of the consequences of not fulfilling it. Fear of my own feelings, my own wants. But not anymore. I’ll face whatever the future and duty expects of me but today….”
“Today?” he prompted as he glanced down at your lips, then met your gaze once more.
“Today I am going to act on my feelings and desires for once and face the consequences later.” you said as you placed a hand on his chest.
“And what are your desires?” he practically purred as he cupped your cheek with his hand.
“Kiss me,” you breathed out.
His lips pressed into yours, and it wasn’t a slow gentle kiss like you had always imagined your first kiss with Aemond to be, no it was fiery and all consuming. As his lips moved against yours you did what you had always wanted to do, and tangled your fingers in his silken white hair.
He groaned softly as you tightened your grip and he hauled you impossibly closer against the hard planes of his body.
At the brush of his tongue against yours, you whimpered with desire.
A shiver went all the way down your spine and your toes curled as he consumed you.
Vhagar roared and you pulled back from him with a laugh. His crooked smile melted your heart and he nudged his nose against yours and kissed you once more, softly and sweetly.
As he pulled back you grinned at him.
He didn’t release you from his embrace, which you were grateful for. But, he did take a deep breath as he stared deeply into your eyes.
“I must tell you that I was not completely honest with you before,” he said, his voice low and vulnerable.
“About what?” you asked carefully.
“I do know who my brother intends to betroth you to,” he replied.
You scrunched your eyebrows in confusion, wordlessly asking him to explain, even as you extricated yourself from his grasp and crossed your arms.
He pressed his lips together.
“You are to marry me,” he said finally.
“What?” you gasped.

also sorry if i missed the whole point of your request i feel like i went a totally other different direction :( but i hope you all enjoy it!
you were always the perfect model student in middle and high school, everyone was able to predict that you’d be first place for exam marks as well as you always being in principal honours. you were able to carry your skills into university where you try to keep a gpa that’s 4.0. nothing was able to get into your way…until you met seok matthew.
matthew was a very likeable athlete in your university, everyone gushed over his sweet looks and kind personality, there was nothing to hate about him. he kept a good image away from his basketball skills. many girls loved the fact that he was single and took every chance they got to ask him out or compliment him.
you were setting up for the upcoming events happening in your university. there were going to be some high schoolers coming to visit the campus as well as some special performances happening in the gymnasium. you were put in charge of handling those which were already enough on your plate aside from your own course. you didn’t think that anything would occur between that time.
as you were setting up the gymnasium decorations, a basketball slowly rolled towards you, stopping just at your feet. before you could pick it up, you heard someone faintly yelling until the voice got closer.
“that’s mine! sorry i should’ve been more careful.” someone said, as you looked up, you saw a handsome guy with sweat dripping everywhere as if he just ran a marathon. he had muscles which you could tell from his biceps. his hair was a blonde shade and his smile was quite contagious, causing you to smile slightly as well.
“it’s fine. i was just setting up the decorations here.” you looked down at your list, crossing off the things that were already dealt with and completed with your pen. matthew also took a look at it but you quickly pulled it up to your chest, concealing it.
“was i not supposed to see that?” he chuckled, pointing at your clipboard. you slowly nodded, unsure of what to say.
“uh..yeah.” he picked up the ball that was still on the ground. once again giving you that irresistible smile.
“well… i’ll see you around then!” he dribbled the ball back to the court and shot it in perfectly, causing cheers to erupt from the small crowd watching him. mostly girls.
you thought that would be the end of seeing matthew but after that one meeting, it would be endless encounters of you running into each other. it was as if it was happening on purpose, like the world was telling you to converse with him a bit more.
so you did. it happened to be a day like any other where you were studying in the library with headphones on. every other seat beside you was vacant and you had that small space to yourself, something you absolutely loved. peace.
as you were checking at your notes then back at your laptop, you noticed a familiar figure coming towards you.
“hey…” matthew said, joining you with a textbook and laptop in hand. you weren’t expecting matthew to come at all, you kinda forgot that he was also studying and learning here as well.
“mind if i join?” you slowly nodded giving him the green light and he sat across from you. he opened his laptop and took a look at your notes.
“psychology huh?” he said. somehow he figured out your course by just observing your notes, you were astonished.
“how did you know?” matthew grinned then shrugged, “my friend taerae takes that course too.” he was friends with taerae? you sometimes noticed him in the back of lectures but never had a proper conversation with him other than the times where you had a project together.
“that’s cool.” it was obvious that you weren’t strong with holding a conversation, especially with new people. matthew seemed happy though, giving you a positive smile to almost everything you said and did.
you wanted to ask him what he was taking but your shyness took over, though he knew right away that you were curious.
“i’m doing health sciences by the way, it’s pretty interesting but challenging at times.” it was nice having someone who could carry on a conversation. as you two began getting to slowly know each other, you came to realize that matthew was just an amazing guy, he seemed very passionate about pursuing both sports and his studies, he told you about his journey from when he first started playing basketball to now and how it’s helped him. as well, you shared a bit of insight about yourself such as why you decided to pursue your field of study and what inspired you to do so.
best part was that matthew wouldn’t interrupt you once as you spoke and let you be as open as you chose to. it was like you were able to tell him everything that you were scared to tell others. not to mention how handsome he looked when he was focused on something.
afterwards, it fell silent between the two of you as you began studying. matthew was also immersed in his notes, but he would occasionally gaze at you to see what you were doing. he felt his cheeks heat up while seeing your concentrated face.
as the hours passed, more students began leaving campus and the library became more still as now only you and matthew were present there. you didn’t even realize it but you actually fell asleep after studying. matthew was on his phone texting someone and noticed that you lost your battle to sleep.
“they must be cold…” he mumbled to himself as he noticed that you had no jacket on. he decided to take his own off and cover your body with his in order to keep you warm. your head was resting on your textbook with your hands on the table.
he let you rest and didn’t wake you up, only waiting till you decided to yourself.
half an hour had passed when you finally awoke. “what time is it?” you yawned. he showed you his phone lockscreen that had him and eight other people posing together in a selfie. the time read ‘18:00’ , that was enough to jolt you completely awake. the latest you ever stayed was only four or five o’clock.
“oh god i slept didn’t i?” matthew could only smile at your cute reaction.
“hey but at least you got a power nap!” he got up to place his items inside his backpack then swung it over his shoulder. “i’ll see you around!” he waved goodbye and was about to walk out of the library. but suddenly you felt the urge to do something, you didn’t want to go home alone especially when it was already getting dark outside.
“wait!” you yelled, quickly rushing up to matthew. he watched as you catched up to him, “is it ok if i can go with you?”
matthew chuckled but nodded, “of course! grab your stuff and we’ll head out.” he said. with that confirmation, you grabbed your things and walked out of your university’s building towards the train station.
the whole ride he sat close to you and it helped you feel less lonely with his company. your houses weren’t too far apart from each other so you took the same route as him to get home.
but ever since that day in the library, you began falling for matthew. you would occasionally go to the gymnasium and sit on the bleachers just to watch matthew play and get cheered on by his friends. he was mesmerizing in a way that you couldn’t keep your eye off of him.
when one of his games was over, he approached you and asked for your number. it was a lot having a bunch of eyes on you as he asked for it but you gave him it and he ran away happily to change. getting his number allowed you to hear from him more often, he would text you about what he was doing and had casual conversations with you if it wasn’t about studies.
as your friendship grew even closer, he asked to visit your house so you two could study together in each other’s company and you were up for it. this was the first time that he’d be coming to your house since you didn’t live on campus.
while in your room, he took a look around and noticed the poster’s of many celebrities and idols. you showed him all of your favourite groups which allowed him to get to know you better since you barely opened up about your interests outside of studies.
but most of the afternoon consisted of you two both sitting on your bed with your laptops open and studying the material. though studying was boring, having matthew there made it more endurable. when it became silent, he would speak up and converse with you about almost anything. it was like his brain was full of ideas that were endless.
“hey matt…” you said, looking up from your textbook. he immediately turned towards you, “hm?”
“do you enjoy being with me? it’s kinda boring just studying.” you were worried that he wasn't enjoying this and probably wanted to do something else.
“of course i do! if you don’t want to study we can do something else right now.” he shut his laptop.
“like what?” he grabbed his jacket and got up from the bed causing you to do the same.
“a walk, heading to a store, going to the park nearby, there’s tons of stuff to do!” you smiled then shutting your textbook and doing the same as him.
“then let’s go somewhere!”
what followed next after two weeks passed was that exam season finally ended! you were thrilled to be able to go home and relax without worrying much about studying. but that didn’t stop matthew from asking to come over.
you made sure the house looked extremely cleaned with no mess left behind as you began waiting for him to arrive. when the doorbell rang, you rushed to open it to reveal matthew holding a bouquet of flowers while smiling.
needless to say, you were shocked, “matt?” he waved and came inside then taking his shoes off and heading to your couch.
“hey!” he looked around, then handed you the flowers. they were beautiful red roses that looked expensive. you couldn’t wrap your head around the fact that he literally bought some just for you.
“matt…are these for me?” you gave them one more look but even still your eyes couldn’t not focus on them.
“yeah, uh, i actually bought them for a reason since i wanted to tell you something really important.” that sentence caused you to look up at him with a puzzled expression.
“what is it?” he came closer towards you and took the bouquet out of your hands and onto the couch in order to gently grab your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours.
“i like you.” did you hear that correctly?! it took you a good minute to process before you spoke up.
“really? you're joking right?” you asked to make sure. matthew giggled then shook his head, rubbing his thumb on your hand.
“no! why would i? i’ve felt this way towards you for a while but never had the courage to tell you exactly how i feel. i bought you those roses today to show you.”
“they’re beautiful…” you were still in awe.
matthew then gently touched your shoulders, “so give me a chance. i know that we’ve only known each other for a while but i promise i’ll do anything and everything to make you happy.” he said with no hesitation.
the space became silent as you tried to come up with what to say, since this was new for you to be confessed to. however, after being with matthew for the past month and getting to know him, he’s become someone who’s made an impact on you. he helped you become more open and even knows how to make your heart beat whenever you see him. it would be a lie to say that you didn’t want to go further with him.
you took a deep breath as his gaze was still fixated on you, “of course i’ll give you a chance. a million times yes.”
without warning, matthew pulled you into his soft embrace, his arms wrapping around you to keep you in tact.
“god i was so worried to say that. do you know how many times i was practicing this before i came here?” he exclaimed, now feeling relieved that you didn’t reject him.
“well now you have me.” you giggled.
“great cause now i don’t plan on losing you, ever.” his voice muffled into your chest.
“thank you matthew, you make me so happy.”
“of course my love.”

I hope you're having an amazing day <3
Missed You [Nancy]
Sum: After being away from Hawkins for 6 months, you finally come back to your girlfriend, Nancy Wheeler.
A/n: thank you sm!! And yes of course i can! Sorry it's so short :( also sorry it took me a while as well I hope you like it! Also a reminder I have a second account in where i post about Balders Gate 3 :) it's @teaffrogy
Nancy Wheeler X Fem! Reader
California was fun!
You get to go to a lot of places with your family. Meet up with your cousins, aunts, and uncles. Yet, you still miss being in Hawkins. You grew up in Hawkins your whole life.
The only reason why you are in California is because your mom wanted to come to meet up with your family. At first it was going to be a month, then it went to two, the three, and finally six months! You love your family, really, but you also miss your friends and your girlfriend.
Nancy Wheeler. She's the most beautiful girl you have ever been with. Her touch just has you melting in her hands like pudding. You send her letters, polaroid pictures of California, and of course, yourself. She sends them back, and you are more than happy to see Polaroid pictures of her. But God, you just miss her so much. You wanted more than anything then, so see her again.
“You got a latter [Name]!” Your mom yells from downstairs. You hurry down and grab the letter from your mom. “Thank you.” You say and open it, a picture of her and Mike. You smiled and read the letter.
“Oh yeah and pack your things we are leaving.” your mom says as she holds out a luggage.
“What?” You turn to look at your mom. “We are going back to Hawkins. Go and pack!” You drop the letter on the table and hurry back to your room.
Nancy looks at a picture of you. She smiles at it and places it back on her mirror. She really missed you. Even if it was for vacation, it was too long for her. She sighs and stands up from her vanity and turns on her radio. Today was her day off from work, but there was nothing to do, really. Usually, on her days off, you two would go out to the mall, but that mall doesn't exist anymore. She lays on her bed and hugs a pillow.
She wondered if they would put one back up again soon. She really missed shopping with you. But mostly you. She groans and looks up at the ceiling.
“Nancy! Come down stairs!” She hears Mike yell. She gets up and runs down stairs. “What?” She says and Mike points at The door. She nods And Mike's goes to his room. Nancy opens the door and is met with flowers to her face. “What the-”
“Hi.” She knows that voice. She moves the flowers away, and it's you! “Oh my god!” She brings you into a tight hug, almost dropping the flowers. She then cups your face “God's! How did you get here? How are you?” She asks. You smile at her and say, “Well, I got here by car. Second, I am okay.” You say, and Nancy smiles. “Let's go to my room. I just wanna smother you with kisses.”
Your mom let you spend the day at Nancy's. Nancy's mom said that it was alright as well and made you so many snacks and meals for you two. She just loved seeing her Nancy back with so much energy again.
“So, how was California?” Nancy asks as she eats the beaked cookies her mom made. “It was, eh? I mean, I like it there. It's just that I grew up here and well, I missed you. “ You say as you take a bite of the cookie. She smiles and brings you in tk a hug. You hug her back tightly and bury your face in her neck. “I missed you so much.” You say as you two lay down on the bed. “I missed you too.” She says as she kisses your forehead. “I missed your hair.” Nancy says as she runs her fingers through it. “I missed your ears.” She says as her hand then goes to Your ears.
You were starting to blush. “I missed how I could hold your face.” She says as she cups your face and presses her forehead on to yours. “I missed your kisses.” She whispers as she presses her lips on to yours, and you kiss her back. Every time you kissed her, it felt like the first time you kissed her. You two pull away, and Nancy kisses your nose. “I missed all of you.” She whispers.
“I missed you too. I missed all of you. I missed your touch I missed your laugh and the dumb gossipe that happens at work, I miss you having me pick your outfits and then you pick the other I said not to wear, I missed how you smell, I missed your currly hair, I missed your hands, I missed everything about you and you.” You say, and Nancy smiles. She holds you close to her. “I want us to stay like this forever.” She says.
“Me too.”
“Nancy I have a question.” You say as you play with her hair. “Yes?”
“Would you still love me if I was a warm.” You say, and Nancy nods. “Yes I would, I'd take good care of you as well.” She says and kisses your cheek, making you giggle.
“What if you kissed Me as a warm-”
“Ew no. [Name], that's gross.” She says, and you laugh. You two hold each other, feeling warm and in love. "Can I stay here for another day?" You ask. "Stay here forever." She whispers.

Late Night, Come Home - Kim Seokjin
It's been a while... sorry about that. I went through a period of writers block that turned into a year of writers block. Mix that with the fact that I travelled to the other side of the world for three months this summer. I've been a little busy lmaoooooo. Buy, hey, I'm back. No idea how often I'll be writing or posting and I wont promise anything, but this is a start, right?
Words: 3.2k
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Language, Making out, Jin being the nicest man alive
You stood there, dripping rainwater onto the door mat outside of your neighbour's apartment. It was a long shot given the fact that it was almost 3 AM, but you had no choice. You couldn’t get into your own apartment and you desperately needed somewhere to stay for the night. You knocked again, the guilt of potentially waking him up already gnawing at you.
“I’m coming,” a voice said from the other side of the door. The jingle of keys soon followed and before you knew it, the door swung open to reveal Kim Seokjin. Your neighbour.
He stood there, looking down at you with barely open eyes. Pyjama bottoms hung loose around his hips as if they’d just been thrown on before he came to open the door, but he hadn’t had the courtesy to throw on a top. The knowledge that your neighbour slept naked sunk in slowly, a pink blush steadily rising through your body.
“Hi, Mr Kim,” you greeted, voice sheepish.
“Don’t call me that,” he grumbled, “makes me feel old.”
It was awkward. You didn’t know what to say. After all, you couldn’t exactly just barge into his house, nor could you really ask him if he’d let you sleep there. Your mother had always taught you that it was good manners to wait to be invited in. The last thing you wanted was to add to that by making him think you were rude.
“Sorry,” you spluttered. You couldn’t look at him, scared that your eyes would linger for too long on his toned abs or his plush lips that you hadn’t really paid much attention to until now. Instead, you looked at your feet and the wet patch that surrounded them. You were lucky the hallway was sheltered, although you doubted your clothes could soak up any more water if they tried.
“No problem,” he was avoiding looking at you too. You’d clearly gone out for the night and the tight white dress that had gone see through in the rain left nothing to the imagination. As much as he wanted to take a good long stare, he was a gentleman. “I assume it’s an emergency.”
Was it? It felt stupid to say that it was, especially when the whole situation was avoidable. But as you stood there, terrified of the thought of having to sleep in the hallway all night, you decided that yes, it was an emergency. With your phone, keys and money all in your roommate’s bag, there really was no other word for it. Of course, you couldn’t help but remind yourself that if you’d taken your own bag, you wouldn’t be standing on your neighbour’s doorstep wondering if he’d give you a bed for the night. Hindsight was a wonderful thing.
“I’m locked out,” you muttered, embarrassed about your predicament, “Kate has all my stuff and she’s off with her man doing… something.”
At the mention of your roommate, he rolled his eyes into the back of his head. It seemed odd that he had an issue with her given that the two rarely spoke. They’d say ‘hi’ to each other in the hall on occasion, but that was the extent of their contact with one another.
“You’d best come in then,” the door was opened wider and Seokjin stepped back so that you could enter his home. You gladly obliged, limping slightly as you stepped over the threshold. You hadn’t noticed how bad your shoes had rubbed on the way back. You guessed you were too busy trying not to catch hypothermia. The pain was immeasurable though, and you yelped out as you took the step.
Seokjin just shot you an unreadable look and gestured for you to stay there. It was his home, so you listened to him. It would be impolite not to. He scurried further into his apartment, disappearing for a moment or two. You didn’t mind though; it gave you plenty of time to inspect your surroundings.
His apartment was much nicer than your own. Cleaner too. The wooden floors didn’t have so many chips, and the sage green paint wasn’t peeling away from the walls. The mirror that hung above his hardwood dresser was polished and lacked all the makeup splatters and finger marks that gave your own hallway mirror character. Even the plants he kept in there were so much nicer. Each of them was thriving, a plethora of healthy leaves coming from the stems, whereas yours were all brown and decaying.
You grinned to yourself, the thought of Seokjin waking up every morning and watering his plants filling up your brain. You wondered if he wore the same checkered pyjama bottoms as he shuffled around with a watering can in one hand and a coffee in the other. It was almost sweet, the way that you pictured him in your brain.
“You’re looking mighty happy for someone who resembles a drowned rat,” the grumpy voice of your neighbour brought you back down to earth though, wiping the smile off your face entirely. “Here.”
You focussed on him, noticing that he now had a lilac hoodie on. It was hard to hide your disappointment in the fact that you could no longer sneak tiny glances at his tanned stomach, but at least now you could look at him without feeling like a dirty voyeur.
In one hand was a fluffy towel, lilac to match his jumper. In the other was a set of clothes with a pair of fluffy socks placed gently on top. Given your height differences, you were almost positive that his clothes would be way too big on you, but you were still thankful for the kind gesture. Honestly, you’d wear anything if it meant that you no longer had to feel the cheap material of your dress clinging to you like plastic wrap.
“Oh, thank you,” you kept your responses to him formal, despite the fact that he didn’t have the courtesy to do the same. He did live here, you supposed, and it was 3 AM. He was probably too tired to act polite to the girl who had shown up on his doorstep. You were honestly thankful enough that he let you in in the first place. “Is there a bathroom I can change in?”
He nodded.
“Down the hall to the left,” he said, “take your shoes off first, though. I’ve done well to avoid any chips.”
Once again, you felt a twinge of embarrassment. You couldn’t believe you were just about to stroll across his pristine floor in the very shoes that were responsible for half of the dints in your own. How very inconsiderate of you, you scolded yourself as you slipped them off.
“Thank you,” you said again.
“Meet me in the kitchen when you’re changed, okay?” You nodded before shuffling your way to his bathroom.
You were right, the clothes were huge on you. Not in a bad way, though. They were warm and cozy and the sleeves fell over your hands so you could make sweater paws with them. The material felt like clouds as it brushed against your damp, icy skin, and you were dreading when the time came for you to take them off and change back into your own clothes. How could you when you’d now felt the luxury of Seokjin’s?
The towel he’d given you was wrapped around your hair, slowly taking in all the water that had weighed it down. It felt good to no longer have long, wet strands sticking to your face and neck, and you were sure that with the quality of the towel, it’d be dry in no time.
You gave yourself one last look in the mirror, a shy smile rising to your face as you realised just what was happening. It was like something out of a romance novel, except for the fact you were pretty sure your neighbour was only doing this because he was a good person, not because he was secretly in love with you. You took a deep breath and controlled your expression before you opened the bathroom door and followed the sound of a microwave spinning to the kitchen.
As you stepped into the room, Seokjin was busy taking whatever it was out of the microwave. It smelled of stew, and the thought of a nice warm meal made your stomach rumble. The sudden sound caught his attention, and once again, you felt a familiar heat in your cheeks.
“Come sit,” he pointed at a chair as he finished preparing the food, “It’s leftovers from today, but it should still be fresh.”
Honestly, you didn’t care about the freshness. You were just flattered that he’d gone out of his way to get you some food, even if all he did was microwave it.
“Thank you.”
“Is ‘thank you’ the only thing you’re capable of saying?” His question caught you off guard a little. What else did he want you to say? You sent him a questioning look in return. “Well, you show up at my doorstep at stupid O’clock and all you say is you can’t get into your own apartment? I want a little more information than that, don’t you think?”
You guessed he was right. You’d given him as little information as humanly possible and yet he still had the kindness to let you into his home, lend you his clothes and feed you.
“What do you want to know?” You asked.
“Everything, really,” he replied, “from the beginning.”
As you started to explain how on earth you got stranded, Seokjin moved to sit down across from you with a plate full of warm stew in his hand. He pushed it across to you, briefly interrupting your story to tell you to eat. You simply smiled, thanking him once again, and took the fork from his hand. Every so often, he’d take a break from listening to you and gesture to the food to remind you to take a bite. It seemed you were so wrapped up in the events of the night that you couldn’t even focus on anything other than recounting them.
You didn’t know why, though. It’s not like you felt angry or betrayed by your friend, even though you probably should have. In your mind, you couldn’t help but try and justify her actions. She was sad about losing her job, and how was she to know that Lewis would be there to seduce her? She probably thought that staying with Lewis for the night would help get rid of some of her frustrations.
“I don’t know,” you sighed. Explaining the whole situation just made you feel worse about the whole thing. Still, you couldn’t bring yourself to blame her. She was your best friend after all. “She’s just forgetful.”
“Why are you defending her?” Seokjin grumbled.
“She’s my friend.
“And she treats you like shit,” his voice was loud, but he wasn't angry. Frustrated was a better word to describe it. Annoyed, possibly, at your ignorance of your friend’s actions. You couldn't help but feel ashamed of your instinct to forgive her no matter what. “She’s lucky you made it here safe, you know. Anything could’ve happened.”
You felt like a child being scolded, and yet you knew you needed to hear it. It was the same things you’d been telling yourself for a while now, but ignoring your thoughts seemed like the best course of action. Having someone else lay them out in front of you made you realise just how stupid you’d been to value your friendship over your feelings.
There was a familiar ache in your head and your eyes welled up with glistening tears. Everything had just piled up and you couldn’t hold it in anymore. It’s just a shame you were sat with a man you barely knew instead of alone in your bedroom with a bottle of wine by your side to comfort you.
And you half expected the atmosphere to get even more awkward. What, with you hunched over and sobbing into a half-eaten bowl of stew that was quickly going cold? It wouldn’t have been a surprise to you if Seokjin sat there in silence, unsure of what to do to help the woman he’d invited into his home.
But then you heard his chair legs scrape along the floor, and the pitter patter of bare feet on the tile floor. And before you knew it, he’d squatted down next to you and placed a warm hand on your back. Soft, calming hushes left his mouth as soothing shapes were drawn onto your spine.
“Get it all out, Y/N,” he whispered, “bottling it up never does any good.”
So you did. It was about 5 minutes before your tears ran out and all that was left were pathetic little sniffles every now and then. Seokjin remained silent, the only semblance of proof that he was still there being the hand that remained firmly on your spine. You were grateful; you didn’t need him to say anything else at that moment. You knew all you had to know.
“Thank you, Seokjin,” you quietly snivelled out. He let out a snort of laughter.
“I thought I told you to stop saying thank you,” you nodded, even though you knew you wouldn’t stop. You needed him to know you were grateful for everything he’d done. He didn’t have to let you into his home, just like he didn’t have to lend you clothes or feed you. He didn’t even have to sit and comfort you as you cried, and yet he did. As silly as you sounded saying it, you felt indebted to him. “And call me Jin. I think we’re past formalities.”
“Are we?”
“I think so,” his voice remained soft as he talked to you as if he was still trying to help you through your mini-breakdown. “Practically best friends, by my standards.”
That fetched a laugh out of you. You’d barely spoken to the man before tonight, and yet he seemed intent on making you feel comfortable with him. And in a strange way, you did. He’d shown a lot more care towards you than he would if he classed you as a stranger, even though that’s pretty much what you were. You seemed to trust him more than a stranger too. Perhaps it was a mutual desire for something more to come out of this. A friendship, perhaps, although you wouldn’t mind if it led to even more than that. Seokjin was among some of the best-looking men you’d ever seen…
“Sure we are,” you gave him a sad smile, “Jin.”
He smiled in return.
“That’s more like it,” the grin on his face was obvious when he spoke. “Now, how about you finish your stew and we can go get you settled into the spare room.”
You let out a chuckle as he grabbed the spoon and held it up to your lips. He made a show of blowing on the food to cool it down, and you couldn’t help but shudder at the proximity of his face to yours. As the spoon made contact with your ever-so-slightly parted lips, you couldn’t take your eyes off of him.
And it seemed as though he couldn’t either. As the spoon breached your lips he let out a heavy breath through his own. You didn’t know where the sudden tension came from, but it wasn’t unwelcome. Your only hope was that he felt it too. That he wanted to put his lips on yours just as badly as you wanted him to.
And God, did you want him to.
You didn’t even know where the urge had come from. The man had never piqued your interest before tonight, but perhaps seeing him in such a… domestic setting was what was getting you going. The pyjama pants that mismatched his hoodie in such a perfect way, or perhaps the bed head that he hadn’t even bothered to sort out since you’d stepped through his front door. Everything about him was just so familiar, and you didn’t even know the man.
He did the same thing, grabbing a spoonful of stew before lifting it up to your face and blowing. Whether intentional or not, his breath tickled your face and you couldn’t help but scrunch up your nose.
“You’re kind of cute, you know,” Jin whispered, once more pushing the food into your awaiting mouth. “I never noticed until now, but Jesus Christ, I could just…”
He trailed off, but you wanted nothing more than to hear what he had to say. You swallowed.
“Just what?”
There was a thud as the spoon hit the table and the hand that held it made it’s way up to your cheek. It rested there, thumb brushing your soft skin.
“Just want to kiss you, baby,” he chuckled, leaning in a little closer until his face was just an inch from yours. “Are you okay with that?”
Of course, you nodded. Enthusiastically, actually, which brought a bright smile to Jin’s face, but he made no move.
“Words, baby.”
“Yes, Jin,” your voice was quiet, “please kiss me.”
And with that, his lips were on yours. It was slow at first, as if the two of you were finding your feet. The way his plush lips gently caressed yours as the pad of his thumb matched the rhythm of the kiss on your cheek.
It wasn’t long until you got a little braver, though, raising your own hands so you could grip onto his messy locks and pull him closer to you. He smiled against your mouth, nipping at your bottom lip with his exposed teeth. There was a sharp intake of breath from you before you dive back in for more, this time with a little more urgency.
Lips crashed against lips feverishly and you couldn’t help but let out a little squeak as his tongue brushed against your lower lip. You let him in, of course, wanting nothing more than to feel Jin close. He seemed to realise that quickly, tugging your body to the edge of the seat and shuffling himself so that he was kneeling between your legs. You spread them wide so he could slot inside, as though the two of you were pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
It was a little strange, actually, how well the two of you seemed to fit together. His hair in your fingers felt normal, as did the way his large hands felt on your sides, and even though you’d perhaps spoken 10 words to one another since moving in next door, the feeling of him between your legs felt… perfect.
Like he belonged there.
Eventually, the two of you pulled away for air and soft, breathy laughs filled the air.
“Fuck, Y/N,” he laughed, leaning his forehead against yours, “I didn’t think I’d be making out with my neighbour at 4 in the morning, and yet…”
“Here we are.”
“Here we are,” he grinned, “you must be tired.”
You nodded, although you wouldn't have minded staying up later with Jin.
But the man in question stood up, holding a hand out to you, and you couldn't help but let him pull you to your feet.
“Let's get you to bed.”

Hey so,
Claudia well now they go by Serenity, are talking about you on their Instagram. Some people are sending them anonymous questions to which they reply to by posting a story. Which are:
1. Someone asked how they were doing about the whole situation with you and they said “ Fine. I have lots of friends who don’t agree with him letting ppl just disrespect me and doxx me so I feel better about allowing myself to be angry about it now.”
2. Someone said that they had the right to be angry but so do you considering what they did to you and how they’re lacking accountability and how their friends are enabling them so this was their response:
“ I don’t control how my friends feel about the situation so..”
“for months” it was literally two months…I have no more accountability to take I took it all already??? I apologized to him both publicly and privately and he decided to take it to the internet?? My friends aren’t enabling anything their simply sticking up for me for being harassed and doxxed hope this helps”
“Him allowing ppl to doxx and misgender me is also hurtful and far more morally wrong than me catfishing him hope this helps”
I would also like to mentioned that they posted a screenshot of a convo with someone on their insta story and they were talking about how they were feeling anxious and paranoid and that they didn’t want to go out. And they captioned it “ literally may god himself take me out if I ever feel sad over a butch who made me paranoid to leave my own house”
And lastly on the anonymous questions they reply to on their story someone anonymously told them this and they agreed to what the person said:
“ people STILL trying to claim you not taking accountability like you didn’t write a five page apology to his ass. He is not traumatized or severely hurt by this if he’s already with someone new! His ass is fine. He is not being harassed or doxxed leave serene alone. Stop defending this white person he is no saint. And that’s so clear to see when he’s willingly putting a poc life in danger”
Another person said this as well which serenity also agreed with:
“People caring more about u catfishing him than him being the one not taking accountability and letting ppl doxx and misgender u says a lot..they’ll always defend the white person even when they’re the ones being malicious”
That’s all, I just thought I should let you know because it’s absolutely crazy that they’re telling their followers that you’re the bad guy here?? When they’re the ones that deliberately hurt you. And they claim to take accountability but what they have been posting on their insta stories says completely otherwise. And they are trying to turn this on you and saying you put them in harms way or are letting people do things to them. As if you have any control of what others do. Idk how the hell they managed to turn this all on you but it’s ridiculous. And they’re also saying that they’re the ones who are angry now. And the worst thing is that they are saying you’re morally wrong or a bad person. Like what??? I just had to share this with you bc it’s literally insane and they’re accusing you of things you didn’t do.
Anyway I’m sorry this person is literally saying all these things about you. And letting others say those things as well, it’s so messed up after all they have done to you and others.
I hope you’re doing well, sending love <3🫂
Literally no one doxxed them. Like at all ever. So that's very funny that they're using a lie they made up to make themselves the victim. And trying to downplay the shit they did to me and once again I am not the only victim here. I'm just the loudest. They also victimized Jess and Lottie by literally stealing their identities. The only reason they're trying to paint me as being the solo victim in all this is because I'm white so it's easier to paint the white person harassing the poc. The way they're deliberately avoiding talking about Jes and Lottie makes this obvious. And also I don't know what pronouns Claudia is using at the moment for all I knew they could have switched and starting using she/her I wasn't stalking their account and checking every five seconds. And given they have a history of using pronouns sets from people they're pretending to be this could have very well been the case. But still I haven't ever misgendering Claudia. And I don't owe Claudia more than that I literally fucking hate you and I hope you burn in hell I'm not gonna unlock you every five seconds to check what fucking pronouns your using to correct someone in an ask telling me that your trying to frame me as an aggressor. Get over yourself and grow up. No one fucking doxxed you. You were fucking lying about where your loved and people just said you could live in Arkansas or you could live in Montreal. That's not fucking doxxing. Posting someone's address is doxxing. You just want something to cling to. And assuming I'm overing it and not struggling because I have a new partner is hilarious ooh sorry I have people that love me I still tried to drown myself last month but thanks for that assumption. I'm still experiencing extreme bouts of hallucinating and I'm constantly scared for my life. But yeah no I'm totally fine and obviously not struggling because you someone know that despite what little I post about what I actually do with myself. And about me taking accountability for fucking what exposing what a fucked up person you are sure I'll take accountability for that. That's me I did that. I told everyone how youve been catfishing for years and how you pretended to be Jess since January even though you lied about it saying it was only since April. I told everyone you were confronted by Jes and told to stop in JUNE you said you would but you but you continue to do it anyway and you blocked her. I told everyone about some of the fucked up shit you did to Charlotte including claiming to have her first and legal last name. Including race faking as a mixed Latino Mexican/Filipino just so you could claim Latin cultures and imitate Lottie even more. Copy and pasting Charlottes post and trying to claim them as your own. Gaslighting everyone into thinking Lotties the crazy one when they made a post about you. To name a few of the fucked up things you've done. Claudia you've made three different people paranoid and afraid to leave their houses because you can't leave us the fuck alone.
And I even stated specifically before that no one should be trying to dox anyone and that's illegal so idk why your 1. Trying to pretend that even happened 2. Trying to frame me
And to anyone trying to act like they know me or anything hey fuck you. I don't talk about my mental health a lot here but I suffer from a lot I'm not well and I'm missing bolts. When I'm stressed or suffering emotionally I have visual and auditory hallucinations, I have depression and anxiety typical for a Tumblr user I know. I have bipolar and either some form of ADHD or ADD but I've not gotten tested because I don't have health insurance. So don't go around assuming I'm doing alright because I have a partner and I'm not posting about how I wanna kill myself every five minutes. I'm not out here throwing pity parties and trying to get everyone to feel sympathy for me. I don't need to anyone with common sense can see what Claudia did was wrong the way they went about it and tried to avoid taking responsibility for it and changing their identity once again just so they could avoid being associated with it is proof. If Claudia wants to paint me as some villain in his attempt to feel like he's not the world biggest douche than by God let the poor fucker I don't care. I mean I care a little but there's literally nothing I can about it because he has a victim complex.
#my post#claudia is a catfish#my eyes roll back in my head whenever people tell me the shit their trying to spew#and also catfishing someone is objectively worse than not correct people on someones pronouns im not even sure of like ...#the fuck and also im not the fucking one misgendering you so literally fuck off and leave me alone#AND NO ONE FUCKING DOXXED YOU#and if you start randomly having proof of that besides never having it before you've probably just faked it like you did with the#“death threats” you claimed lotties tans sent you but they were feom private accounts and the only one that wasn't was only following you#and your alt account#so obviously your other alt account just so you could claim victim there too like get over yourself

LN4 - Trouble
Haiii! I wanted to start my writing journey with a little fiction with a small series so here we go! This is inspired by the song I knew you were trouble - Taylor Swift. I hope you enjoy it because i am not really satisfied but decided to post this anyway. English is not my first language by the way, next parts will be coming later! It's also pretty short, have fun and enjoy your reading! Comments are really appreciated. I love reading comments, any feedback would make me happy! And enjoy again lol!
It was a late night in London, you could hear the raindrops hitting the glass window. It was so loud that you actually thought the full glass wall could shatter. Just like how your heart would be a year later. You were working at a pretty busy café, it was in the middle of London. The café was quite popular but your salary? You were barely making it to the end of the month. You were cleaning the countertops, the whole thing was a mess and they had to be squeaky clean for tomorrow morning. You were closing the café tonight. You were too busy cleaning and doing the dishes when you heard a loud knock on the front door, the whole thing was made out of glass, so you could see who it was. You thought that it would be a homeless person at first, no dumbass would be outside at night while this rain. You raised your head to glance at the person, turns out that guy wasn’t looking like a homeless person at all. Seemed like he was all wet, why wouldn’t he carry an umbrella? He kept knocking on the glass door. The sound really annoyed you. You were already angry because it was a friday night and you were spending your time here cleaning. You pointed your finger at the sign that was hanging on the door, “We are closed.” But you were not that heartless, he really seemed like he needed a warm place. Maybe he would at least keep you company while you were cleaning. You slowly walked to the door and opened it. He was even more handsome than you thought. No, maybe he seemed handsome because you wiped those glass doors three times this day.
“Hi” he said with a genuine smile. His voice was quiet but kind of cute.
“Hi,” you replied, “Want some coffee?” Tilting your head to the side and smiling. A warm offer, how nice of you.
His eyes lit up while he kept smiling. You noticed he was a little bit nervous, fidgeting his fingers.
“Please make yourself comfortable, I have a few things to do.” You added while walking behind the counters. He was like a lost puppy, following you. Then he sat down on the couch, the nearest one to the counter.
“Sooo, how is it going y/n?” he spoke slowly, as if he was reading your name.
You raised one of your eyebrows, looking at him with a confused face while you were pouring two cups of coffee. He pointed his finger at your apron, you realized and laughed. Your name tag. Walking up to him, you spoke quietly, you didn’t want to make much noise because it echoed in the whole café. “Not very nice to be honest, as you can see.” He chuckled, “And how is it going…?”
“Lando.” He told you, helding his hand out for a handshake.
You shook his hand, it was very soft, almost addicting. You wanted this handshake to last forever. And when you realized you were holding his and for a little too long, you immediately pulled it back.
“Sorry,” you mumbled with an embarrassed voice “I’m not really in my mind right know.”
Lando grinned, “Well, you are in my mind so no need to apologize.”
Okay, if inviting him inside was not a trouble. This definitely was. You were not used to hearing these cheeky pick-up lines, you were pretty sure your face was red like a tomato. He took a sip of his coffee, groaning right after. “Cold night.” He shook his head while talking. Taking a few sips between his sentences. “But you were nice enough to let me in. Thanks.” You could detect his British accent.
“You around from here?”
“Yeah, I am. British but I live in Monaco.” He said while holding his coffee mug. It was probably warming his hands. Cute you thought.
Monaco though, you looked at him, “Isn’t it where rich people live?”
Lando chuckled his smile growing, “Yeah wealthy. But I don’t seem rich right?” He moved his body, closer to you. You glanced at him, actually, studied him. Staring at him. He was wearing a basic grey hoodie and some sweatpants, not very rich but definitely young. These were your thoughts until you saw his watch. That one seemed expensive.
“So, I really have to clean those countertops,” you said changing the subject, pointing somewhere you were cleaning before opening the door for him. “Then we can leave.”
“We?” he said with a cheeky smile.
You stuttered a little, “I-I didn’t mean that.”
“I know, but you look cute when you are shy.”
Those words really made you melt. You met him twenty minutes ago, and he was already making you blush like a fifteen-year-old girl.
You took the coffee mug from his hand, gently. And walked, rinsed it under some water. A few minutes passed; you kept wiping the counters. When you finished, you looked at him, seemed like he was taking a little nap. You smiled, taking your apron off and putting the name tag in your back pocket. After that you stuffed your things in a tote bag and made your way to the couch. “Hey, I’m closing the café.” He opened his eyes slowly, looking at you with those blue eyes while smiling. You smiled back at him.

@aemelia is standing over me cracking a bullwhip and forcing me to write about two morons having sex on a luxury train, so here's another little preview of that. The other two previews posted earlier can be found here and here.
But Merlin ruined it for him, by anticipating what had been a brilliant plan, and therefore one which ought to have been safely out of the reach of his brain. All morning Arthur avoided him by moving swiftly along to another car when he saw the dark head entering his, and answering Morgana’s Where the hell are you texts with, Sorry, you must have just missed me till she gave up even sending them.
Then when everyone disembarked at the village, he hurried back to their room, and found Merlin sat on the scene of the crime. He froze. Merlin was fiddling the phone in his hand all round, but looking up steadily at him, with unrelenting eye contact. “Hey.”
“Hey.” Arthur stuck his hands in his pockets. “I just came back for a shower.”
“Yeah, I figured. That’s why I’m here. Thought you might not get off the train with everyone else, considering the fact that I haven’t seen you all morning even though we share a room and we’re on a train with very limited hiding places.”
Arthur shifted from foot to foot. “I wasn’t hiding, I was having a chat with that couple from California.”
“Oh yeah?” Merlin raised an eyebrow. “So you were stationary, in one spot, chatting to this couple, and I missed you every time I went through every car looking for you? That’s interesting.”
Arthur looked away.
Merlin sighed, and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Look. I can ask Gwaine if he’ll switch rooms. I could stay with him, and you with Morgana.”
“And how are you going to explain why we’re switching rooms?”
“I’ll just say you snore and I forgot my earplugs. Morgana has those earbuds that play white noise or whatever. She’ll be fine.”
“Well, I won’t; I can’t stay with Morgana. We’ll kill one another.”
“Fine, then I’ll stay with Morgana.”
“You’re going to share a bed with Morgana?”
“We’re both adults. We can platonically share a bed.”
“Yes, you certainly have a stellar track record of that,” Arthur pointed out, waspishly.
“Well, Morgana’s dating Gwaine, and she’s a lot smarter than you, so I’m sure it’ll be fine,” Merlin snapped.
“What do you mean ‘smarter than me’, like it’s my fault, when it was your idea!” Arthur cried.
“Well, you could have said, ‘No, Merlin, don’t suck my dick’ like a reasonable person. I’d been drinking and I hadn’t been laid in a while, so you had our brain cell, and you should have used it.”
Arthur frowned down at him. “So you did it because you were drunk?”
Merlin rubbed his face with both hands. “I wasn’t drunk drunk, but do you think I would have done that sober? When you said you’d never come from a blowjob, the alcohol took over my mouth, and I just blurted that out, and then when you didn’t tell me to fuck off like a sane person, my dick took over from there.”
“So you’re saying that you, an entire, whole, adult man, are not in charge of your own actions?”
“When I haven’t had sex in over six months and someone offers to blow me, no, I am not in charge, my penis is.” He was striving for a light tone, but must have seen on Arthur’s face that it was not landing as he had meant it to; that he was doing more harm than good: all of which was being done to Arthur’s throat, which felt suddenly as hot, and tight, and tremulous as it had in the dining car. He rubbed his face again. “Look, you have to stop avoiding me. We’ve been mates over a decade, and we’ve never let being dumbarses fuck it up before. So either we switch rooms, or one of us kips on the sofa, but we don’t tiptoe round one another, or duck into another car all week every time we see the other one coming, because we were horny.” He clasped his hands between his knees. “It’s just getting off. Stimulation is stimulation and all that. I mean, it was a bit gay for you to blow me, but other than that, you’re fine.”
Arthur scowled at him.
“You kept your socks on, and that’s the first rule of ‘no homo.’”
“Oh, is it?” Arthur snapped. “Well, you had yours off, so what does that mean?”
“That I’m comfortably bisexual and I don’t have to have a crisis about getting a blowjob from a man.”
“I rather think the problem is specifically which man gave you the blowjob.”

Now that I've had a few hours of sleep and am marginally a human being again, let's talk about the mario movie some more! SPOILERS ALL THROUGHOUT THIS POST UNDER THE CUT (if you want to see my non-spoilery thoughts and the first part of my spoiler talk as well, here's that post from last night! Be warned that it's pretty all over the place because it was 4:30 in the morning and I was really tired lolol)
After thinking about it more, I truly do have some PROBLEMS with this movie (will talk more about some of that below and I covered a lot of the issues in my first post too) and I do wish it was better overall and not so painfully surface-level with all the character interactions - I can understand why some people REALLY don't like it while others love it! It's joyful and energetic and BEAUTIFUL but if you spent months and months theorizing and speculating about deep character interactions and a very emotional story, it does really sting to finally see how there is virtually NONE of that and the plot feels kinda empty as a result. :(
But! I'm definitely not upset or anything like that, and I'm still gonna see it two more times in theaters with a smile on my face! TRUTHFULLY (and if you've seen my blog before, you know this about me) what I cared about most in this movie was getting to see Mario and Luigi be adorable onscreen and have a good, healthy, loving relationship, and you do get that to some degree, even if it's nowhere near enough. I can make my peace (and write a lot of fanfic, LOL) regarding the rest. :)
Here is a list of moments between Mario & Luigi that made me happy:
FIRST OF ALL, SOMETHING THAT I'M NOT ACTUALLY SURE I LIKED BUT WAS CERTAINLY A CHOICE: Mario's nickname for Luigi is Lu????? He calls him that 3-4 times and at big moments, too. It started to be cute to me, even if I wish they'd gone with "Weegie" or something similar, but it's a little jarring at the beginning for sure.
In general, they are just very physically affectionate with each other! There are one or two quick hugs in the beginning scenes before we even get to the reunion. Also, I can't remember the specifics but the very last scene is them basically teasing/poking each other before running off into the day together and it's cute. :)
Mario is SO protective of Luigi in the Brooklyn scenes and let me tell you, as someone who cares DEEPLY about that, i was LIVING. He gets mad at Spike and tries to pick a fight only when he insults Luigi, and there is also a silly scene with an angry dog and Mario just instinctively puts his arm up in front of Luigi when things get a little scary/focuses on making sure he doesn't get hurt, and I was just having the BEST time. Honestly, I loved the Brooklyn stuff so much that I sincerely wanted the whole movie to just be about that, and things took a downhill turn for sure when the separation happened. :(
Someone definitely predicted this before the movie but Mario hates mushrooms as a food and Luigi likes them. During a dinner scene, Mario is slyly separating mushrooms from his food and putting them onto Luigi's plate in a way that suggests he's done that a LOT. Such a quick shot but I just liked the detail!
THE RUNNING THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION SITE AND MARIO DOING RIDICULOUS PARKOUR BUT ALSO STOPPING TWICE TO MAKE SURE TO TURN BACK AND OPEN THE GATES SO LUIGI COULD COME THROUGH NORMALLY. There was just something SO funny and sweet about [crazy jumping and leaping] [quiet, thoughtful pause to open the gate] [MORE CRAZY JUMPING AND LEAPING, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING, SIR] [another quiet, thoughtful pause to open the 2nd gate], I loveeeeee
Once again, just gotta be obnoxious about being right that the dialogue in the warp zone was "nothing can hurt us as long as we're together!" I HEARD THE LINE AS THIS IN THAT PREVIEW FOOTAGE AND EVERYONE CONVINCED ME IT WAS DIFFERENT BUT LOOK WHO'S LAUGHING NOW (i'm sorry, just let me have this win haha)
There is a sad moment where Mario and Luigi's dad clearly doesn't believe in their business and he even says to Mario something like "the worst part is that you're dragging your brother down with you" which is clearly upsetting to Mario so he leaves the dinner table - but then Luigi leaves the table too to come and sit with him and reassures him that he's not dragging him down and it's just a sweet, comfortable moment between them that I very much wish went on a little longer (the theme of the whole movie lol)
(Also, Mario and Luigi still live with their parents and share a room, they're clearly pretty young and are treated like the "babies" of the family. I wish we had seen more of their room other than a very extremely brief shots!!)
Luigi DOES immediately sell out Mario when Bowser goes for the serious mustache damage, LOL, but the way it's done is honestly so cute and once again, just reemphasizes how much Luigi loves Mario XD He's basically like "YES, I know him, he's my brother Mario and he's the best guy ever!" (And then Bowser, who is preoccupied with Mario = romantic rival for Peach's affections, is like "would a princess find him attractive???" and Luigi is like "if she has any common sense, she should!" (lol, that line could be TOTALLY wrong, I don't remember, but that's the gist of it, I promise) or something like that - just hyping Mario up when he's not even there, LOL
in Mario and DK's "darkest moment" scene where things seem hopeless and they're arguing, Mario says something like "well, at least your brother's not going to die because of you!" and noooo, bb, it's not your fault ;; (this scene could have been done SO MUCH BETTER with a few tweaks, btw, but I will get into that)
Luigi bringing coffee for Mario at the end of the movie in their respective cups :) :) :) So simple but I am a very simple person who just wanted to see little moments like this :) :) :)
I have GRIPES with the final battle scene but seeing Mario and Luigi work together and take care of Bowser as a duo was still good!!! Nothing can hurt them when they're together!!!
Also, already talked about this at length in my first post, but one more time: Mario saving Luigi from falling into the lava and their reunion hug is just my favorite moment of the movie, no contest, it goes by so fast and I wish it was longer but I can be happy with that alone and I can't wait for the screenshots/gifsets where I can see all the details of it more clearly and don't have to rely on my awful memory. Literally just going to think about that split-second of Mario holding Luigi's face with both hands in an unbearably sweet, gentle way forever. These brothers love each other very much, your honor ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ALSO ALMOST FORGOT: FLASHBACK TO THEM BEING BABIES (AND THEY LOOK SO FAITHFUL TO THE ORIGINAL DESIGNS TOO!) AND MARIO PROTECTING LUIGI FROM A BULLY (lol I very much wish it was a longer and/or more creative flashback, but STILL sweet)
AND NOW THAT I AM DONE WITH BEING POSITIVE ABOUT MY FAVORITE BOYS, LET'S ~*~COMPLAIN~*~
First of all, still CANNOT BELIEVE that "I'm not afraid! I'll do anything for my brother" didn't make it into the movie, are you SERIOUS, it would have been perfect in SO MANY PARTS, they recorded it and everything, why???? IS THERE A DELETED SCENE??? ARE THERE SEVERAL DELETED SCENES??? I DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THAT PERFECT LINE, I WILL MOURN IT FOREVER
The editing in general is a little odd sometimes and it really DOES feel like a lot of scenes should be there that are missing. Another VERY weird cut is in the scene where Peach, Toad, and Mario are crossing the bridge with the Cheep-Cheeps and they just immediately cut the scene when one latches onto Mario's face and don't even include the cute stuff from the trailer with Peach trying to help him??? Like, WHY???? WHY DID THOSE FEW SECONDS NEED TO BE CUT??? I DON'T UNDERSTAND
I think one of the most painful things about this movie is that, as a writer/creative person, I can see SO many small opportunities throughout the movie where a couple of extra minutes and some tweaks in the writing would have made SO much difference. An unbelievable amount of difference! The overall structure of the story and the plot is good! The story of Mario wanting to reunite with his brother and Peach wanting to protect her kingdom (that took her in and cared for her when she was all alone in the world) is solid! But they never give the EMOTIONS surrounding these things ANY space to breathe beyond one line here or there, and that is SUCH a mistake and I can't believe no one thought to do something differently here.
FOR INSTANCE: The "darkest moment" scene with DK and Mario! It goes by so fast, but there is some good stuff there that, if the movie took a MOMENT and really let their pain/fear for their loved ones and their shared complex of unsupportive fathers BREATHE, would work SO MUCH BETTER. Like, I can easily imagine a rewritten version of that scene with very similar dialogue but just MORE of it (more pauses, more emotion, more reactions to one another's problems, more recognition of their similarities, etc) would have made it like a DAGGER in the heart. SUCH a missed opportunity. I am itching to rewrite it, LOL. (I am itching to rewrite a LOT of scenes!)
ALSO: Luigi is my LOVE and he is adorable throughout this, but I'm gonna be the first to admit that his scrap of an arc in this movie (if you can even call it that) is so lackluster and his heroic moment at the end genuinely doesn't feel that earned! AND ONCE AGAIN, WITH A LITTLE EXTRA WRITING/ROOM IN THE RUNTIME, IT'S A VERY SOLVABLE PROBLEM
And the solution is: build out the prison scenes and have Luigi actually talking to someone else who is locked up!!!!! Other than a couple of lines and jokes, the prisoners don't TALK TO EACH OTHER and Luigi just spends a lot of time looking sad. We don't get ANYTHING about his thought processes while he's captured other than he is thinking of Mario and hoping his brother comes to save him like he's always done.
WHEN CRANKY KONG AND THE OTHER KONGS SHOW UP, HAVE THEM SHARE INFO ABOUT MARIO'S APPARENT DEMISE WITH LUIGI!!! HAVE LUIGI TALK TO HIM (OR THE PENGUIN KING, OR SOMEONE) ABOUT HOW HIS BROTHER'S ALWAYS LOOKED OUT FOR HIM BUT MAYBE SOMETIMES, HIS BROTHER MIGHT NEED SOME SUPPORT TOO AND HE'S GOTTA BE STRONG FOR HIM TOO
It doesn't have to be a long or especially deep conversation, but some lines of dialogue like this would make that moment where Luigi realizes that Mario is right, nothing CAN hurt them if they're together and he's gotta be strong for his older brother too and he jumps in to protect him from Bowser hit SO much harder. That's all it would take!!!
I HAVE ACTUAL WORK TO DO TODAY AND CANNOT GO ON AND ON ABOUT THE MARIO MOVIE FOREVER BUT LAST THOUGHT FOR NOW: the more I think about the final battle, the more I'm conflicted, haha. The twist of everyone from the Mushroom Kingdom ending up in Brooklyn is definitely SHOCKING in the moment and pretty creative but I don't know, I had my heart set on a more classic version of Mario VS Bowser. It just doesn't hit as hard as it could in the end because of how silly the setting is. :( (But the Mario and Luigi teamup with the power star is great, and the music IS fire) (Also LOL at myself for thinking "Luigi won't fight at the end, that wouldn't make sense since Mario had to train" - he just knows how to fight, the movie goes with what's cool over what's logical and that's fair XD)
Also, the end of the movie is a tad confusing and has some pretty huge repercussions for this version of canon? ARE THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM AND THE REAL WORLD PERMANENTLY MERGED TOGETHER BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED??? That's definitely what it seems to imply with Mario and Luigi waking up in their Brooklyn room and then walking out straight into the Mushroom Kingdom! It's pretty bizarre! (Honestly, what I was expecting was that the Bill would destroy the warp pipes and Mario and Luigi wouldn't be able to go home, which I might have preferred, as sad as that would be.)
That's all I got for now! I'm sure I will have more thoughts in the future, haha.
#mario movie#mario movie spoilers#super mario bros movie#super mario bros movie spoilers#would love to hear your thoughts if you agree/disagree with anything i said!#it really is wild to see such STRONG reactions on either side of the spectrum#seeing a LOT of positive feedback and then a LOT of people who are MAD and yeah. i honestly get both sides. i am both of you lol#cherrysip hc's & rambling

alrght. ive been putting off making this post for a long time for personal reasons but i think i need to finally just get this out of the way bf I get any more questions- so:
if u r/ were a fan of my fic series/ motr im sorry to say im officially going to put it on hiatus for the foreseeable future for several reasons:
(these r all directed at motr, not the others before it)
im no longer happy w how I dealt w many things in this fic n how it's going, nor am I impressed w most of the quality of it. there's too many things i feel the need to change n it makes it extremely difficult to continue when all I want to do is rewrite the entire thing or delete motr entirely.
continuing on w this theme- I dont like the route I went when dealing w will's grief n all of the missed potential for his pov tht I wouldn't be able to get back at this point.
the potential of the plot twist tht will happen is going to be diminished bc of how I ended up writing the chapters.
it's. so. fucking. long. alrdy this series for me is extremely long n to wrap up wht ive started would take more patience n time than I have now bc of the way I decided to write this- not to mention how the length keeps distancing itself from the first work- which idk rlly how to explain to ppl but it bothers me somehow so. hm
its not just abt "taking a break" either bc I have. for 3 whole months. evrything I try to see for it either makes me upset bc I wish I could've done so much differently or it ends up being too in depth.
im struggling w at least two plot holes tht I cannot get a handle on n its extremely irritating to try to wrap up all the things I tried to start n. yeah
if u couldn't tell im extremely frustrated lol. n yes bf u say it ik this might seem abrupt considering I just posted a snippet of it, however the more I looked at it n the scene it only made me realize how much ive wasted in regards to the plot n how drawn out ive made it.
anyways, I have more reasons but these r the most glaring ones (n the most spoiler free ones) n once again I am sorry, but imo this is better than deleting it, so thts why im going to leave it. if I decide once ive sat on this for a bit to make a rewrite then we'll see how it goes, but for now im just gonna leave it alone.
ofc ty to all the lovely ppl who v graciously helped me out n took time out of their schedule to give me support, n to those who told me how much they loved it, I still do appreciate ur evry comment to this day<3
#idk how many ppl will see this but I thought I might as well make an “official post” or whtevr#bc I feel bad leaving u all in suspense#obvs this doesnt mean im not writing for anything- quite the opposite actually#but im not gonna touch this series for a long fucking time#sorry again<3

Plus One
This has been sitting in my drafts 99% done for like, four months now, so I figured I'd finish it up and send it out since I haven't posted any writing in a hot minute.
-----
"Cupcake, I really don't think this is a good idea."
"I'm sorry, Vi, but it's been three months. I can't hold her off any longer."
So this was Vi's punishment for falling in love. After seven years wasted in prison and everything that had gone wrong with her sister, she'd finally found a reason to smile again; the woman of her dreams, standing directly behind her as she looked at herself, hardly recognizable, in the mirror. This woman right here was the light of Vi's life, and things were damn near perfect.
If only a formal introduction to Piltovan high society wasn't part of the package deal.
"Do I seriously have to wear this?" Vi adjusted the collar of her impossibly expensive suit, still grimacing at her neat, slicked-back hair which she feared might never be completely gel-free again.
"I offered you a dress," Caitlyn replied, dressed just as formally as Vi but pulling off her sleek navy gown and high heels significantly better. Her hair, pulled into a neat twisted bun, was immaculate without any product, which was just not fair, honestly.
"Then you would've made me wear heels," Vi grumbled. She swore the collar was making a conscious effort to choke her. "Cait, I don't wanna go to this thing."
"I know, love." To her credit, Caitlyn was incredibly sympathetic, and she had valiantly held off her vulture of a mother from trying to present Vi at one of these events for an impressively long time. Unfortunately, though, sympathy didn't get Vi out of this suit or her "responsibility as Caitlyn's partner", as Cassandra had put it.
What a piece of work.
If not for her insistence, Caitlyn and Tobias would have been fine with Vi continuing to sit out of all the events the Kirammans hosted and attended, but alas, neither of them seemed to know how to tell their matriarch no.
She tried to remind herself this wasn't for Cassandra. It was for Caitlyn, so her mother would get off her back about it and stop starting arguments. It was so the two of them wouldn't have to endure any more awkward dinners or pointed questions about why Vi was "hiding" from all those stuck-up elites. As if she needed a reason.
"Can we say I'm sick?" Vi asked, reminding herself of a much younger Powder trying to weasel her way out of chores. God, she missed that kid.
"She'll just make you go to the next one," Caitlyn replied, refocusing Vi before she could think too hard about the sister she'd lost. "It's best to just get it out of the way now. The first one's always the hardest."
First. Implying there would be more to follow. Great.
"Do we have to stay the whole time? What if I get in there, say hi to everyone I'm supposed to be nice to, and we just go?"
"The whole thing won't even be two hours," Caitlyn said, and when Vi turned to face her, she was completely serious. "It's just a cocktail party."
"We're getting this dressed up for less than two hours?" Thought it sounded a bit silly to put this much effort into their appearances for just a short event, Vi was infinitely relieved that she'd be out of this damn suit sooner than she'd thought.
"These things are intentionally short," Caitlyn said, reaching out to fix Vi's tie. "Long enough to catch up with people, but short enough to avoid anyone getting too tired or bored. It won't be that bad, really. It's just drinks, appetizers, and small talk."
"Drinks and appetizers don't sound that bad," Vi replied. "It's the small talk I'm worried about. The hell am I supposed to talk about with these people?"
"You won't have to say much," Caitlyn promised, gently caressing the side of Vi's the way they both loved. "Just stay with me and follow my lead. It'll be over soon enough."
Vi took a deep breath and nodded, looking herself over in the mirror one last time. She didn't particularly care whether her tie was just so or her hair was perfectly neat, but Cassandra would have a fit if she looked anything less than the very high Kiramman standard of presentable.
"Ready, love?" Caitlyn reached for Vi's hand, looking at her expectantly. Vi sighed and resigned herself to her fate.
"As I'll ever be."
---------
As it turned out, Vi shouldn't have been as worried as she'd been back home. No, she should have been far, far more worried.
Despite the Kirammans' insistence that this was a relatively small affair, there were at least fifty people present when they entered the ballroom where some friend of the family Vi had never met liked to host their guests, and they were all staring at her.
Some were better at than others, stealing glances when they thought she was looking far enough in another direction that she wouldn't notice, but some were absolutely shameless in their stares. But worst of all were the whispers. Caitlyn had warned her to expect some type of reaction to their relationship, but it seemed her place of origin was the hot topic of the evening.
She didn't know why she was mad. She' been expecting this. She knew how these people were, and her hot pink hair and face tattoo clearly marked her as other in this room of neat Topsiders, but she'd thought she wouldn't care. That she was above their bullshit opinions and nothing they said would matter to her because she'd heard it all before.
But this wasn't like the other times. Before, she'd had some sense of pride in herself, knowing she was a daughter of the fissures and the Pilties were on her turf. Now she was on their turf, dressed up as one of them, making an effort to appear as something she wasn't because she loved Caitlyn so goddamn much, and they looked at her much differently than she was used to. Enforcers had looked down on her before, but as the dirty street kid who was probably going to punch them in the face, and that was something she could live with. These people looked at her like some exotic pet the Kirammans had brought to the party. And, in a way, she was.
They all knew it. Their whispers told her. All they saw her as was the Kiramman girl's dressed up stray. A street thug that may or may not be domesticated, depending on who you asked. An adventurous fling that never should have been made public. A phase that Caitlyn would hopefully grow out of.
That last one was what really got to her. The idea that Caitlyn didn't really love her, that this was nothing more than a rich girl looking for a thrill, that their relationship wasn't real. Maybe she could have gritted her teeth through the rest of it, but she wasn't going to stand here and listen to these people who didn't know anything make assumptions and throw around theories about the last good thing in her life. She had to leave, or jaws were going to break.
All in all, she lasted twenty minutes.
After that, she was pushing her way out past stupid Pilties who were extremely offended that she'd nudged them aside or forgotten to say "excuse me" or whatever the hell mattered to these people. Caitlyn was quick to follow, softly calling her name and apologizing absently to all of the people she'd shouldered out of her way.
Things were better out on the patio. Quieter. Two people minding their own business on the opposite side, paying absolutely no attention to Vi finding a spot to lean against a railing or Caitlyn chasing her outside.
"Vi-" Caitlyn began, but Vi didn't let her get far.
"I'm not going back in there," she snapped, cringing internally at the vaguely hurt expression on Caitlyn's face. She shouldn't snap at her. It wasn't her fault. "Look, Cupcake, I'm sorry, but this whole thing was a mistake. I know this is important to you, but I don't want to be stared at and talked about like some exotic thing."
"I know," Caitlyn replied softly. She slowly walked toward Vi until they were side by side, in similar positions with their folded arms bracing them against the railing. "I'm sorry I made you come here. I should have known this would happen."
"You didn't make me," Vi reminded her. "Your mom did."
"I'm a grown woman. I should be able to tell my mother no."
"Guess that makes two of us."
"No, this one isn't on you," Caitlyn said. "You were trying to accommodate us. You had no idea what to expect, but I've been plenty of these things. It was my responsibility to recognize how this would be for you and not put you in this situation."
"Cait-"
"Don't tell me it's not my fault. You said no and I didn't listen." Caitlyn ran a hand through her hair with a heavy sigh. "We don't have to go back in. And I won't make you go to any more events. If my mother has any complaints, she can kindly shove them... well, you get the idea."
Vi snorted in a way the Pilties back inside would probably describe as undignified.
"You know..." she said, a hint of mischief in her tone. "I think hearing you tell your mom to shove her complaints up her ass would be the perfect way to make this up to me."
"Oh, quiet, you." Caitlyn gave her a light, playful shove. "I have a better way to make it up to you, anyway." She made a show of her eyes traveling up and down Vi's body, completely shamelessly. "If you're open to it, that is?"
"When am I not?" Vi looped an arm around Caitlyn's waist and pulled her in a little closer. "Maybe we should get out of here before I tear that dress off you."
"Lower your voice!" Caitlyn hissed, but she was laughing all the same.
"Yes, ma'am," Vi replied flirtatiously.
"Save that for later," Caitlyn said in a warning voice. "Come on. Before my mother tries to drag us back inside."
"Like she could," Vi scoffed, but she took Caitlyn's outstretched hand regardless and followed her to and down the little set of stairs connecting the patio to an unnecessarily large garden.
It didn't look like guests were supposed to be out here, but Caitlyn walked confidently enough that neither the guests on the patio nor the random gardener working on a flowerbed batted an eye at them as they circled around the impressive property to the giant front entrance where they'd been greeted.
There were a few people lingering here, but Caitlyn paid them no mind, so neither did Vi. It felt a little weird, like someone was going to call out and stop them any moment. The feeling reminded Vi of sneaking around Vander as a kid, either to go out way too late at night or sneak a sip of something from The Last Drop. What she wouldn't give to hear that old voice scolding her.
Now, if anyone thought to stop her, it would be nothing but high-pitched Piltie voices, but fortunately, no one cared enough. Vi and Caitlyn were free to walk home in peace.
"Think anyone'll notice we left?" Vi asked once they were more or less clear of the property.
"Oh, my mother will have a fit," Caitlyn replied with a tiny, adorable roll of her eyes. "We might not be hearing the end of this for a while."
"What else is new?" Vi said lightly. "How long do you think we have?"
"By the time we get home, I'd say we'll have a good hour and half of peace."
"Who said anything about peace?" Vi's hand slipped out of Caitlyn's and gently trailed down her thigh. "I thought you were making this up to me."
Caitlyn swatted her hand away, but she couldn't hide her little smile or the pink tint in her cheeks.
"Of course. How could I forget?" she replied.
"Y'know..." Vi continued mischievously, "I don't think an hour and a half sounds quite long enough. Why don't we pick up the pace? I'll race you."
"Vi, I'm in heels!" Caitlyn exclaimed as Vi grabbed her arm again and tugged her along.
"You can run in heels."
"Not these ones!"
"Guess we know who's winning, then." Vi made a big show of speeding up, but she didn't really take off the way she'd grown up doing. If she'd really wanted to, she could've left Caitlyn in the dust, even in this restrictive outfit, but this was all for fun.
Besides, she would never dream of missing out on the way Caitlyn tried to hurry along in those horrendous stilts she called shoes. Absolutely adorable.
"C'mon," she called, with absolutely no regard for the fact that they were jogging down a public street. "First one to bed gets to top."
And suddenly Caitlyn could run on stilts.
It seemed Vi's night was about to get a whole lot better.

do you mind explaining why you like island of happiness over sunshine islands and tree of tranq. over animal parade?
Disclaimer 1: this is not my full answer because I want to provide more than just my ramblings and have actual tangible evidence to my reasonings. Which, I do have, but my schedule has been very limited recently and I just haven't gotten around to digging things up.
Alright, it's about time I answered this, just because it's been sitting here in my inbox and I don't want to keep you waiting too long.
Disclaimer 2: I don't know what the hell happened in 2007 to 2010, but something tells me there was a Too Many Cooks situation in the dev/production line; may have been what contributed to the creative differences and why Wada was ushered to leave after the AQL Merger. But again, this is one thing I -don't- have the specific insight to.
Disclaimer 3: long post, I'm sorry 😭
Tree of Tranquility was created 2004 (preproduction) to 2005-2006 (production, commitment, release candidate) and released in 2007. The person spearheading direction was Yoshifumi Hashimoto, the acting director for many games after he was brought to the team when Victor merged with Marvelous in 2003. He was purely Marvelous staff at the time, and was not part of the initial team that came with Victor/Toy Box. He was given the role for Tree of Tranquility in order to innovate gameplay on the latest Nintendo system - the Nintendo Wii. He had support in the way of Yasuhiro Wada and Hikaru Nakano. To a degree, Nakano was more closely involved than Wada, who at the time, was more oversight than development.
Hashimoto wanted to use the success of A Wonderful Life to make a more intuitive, iterative title that followed similar successful principles while in a whole new setting. Thus, Tree of Tranquility did its best to be its own thing while still trying to be a knock on of the preceding console game.
In this article I translated years ago (which frankly needs an update, but the general information is There), Wada was interviewed for the release of Animal Parade; he stated that when he finally took a look at the final product, Tree of Tranquility did not capture the feeling of being a true successor to A Wonderful Life, and that he was largely unhappy with how things turned out. As such, he ordered the team to create a turnaround version of the title which stripped characters down to bare stereotypes, rewrote original relationships and changed them, and changed functionality of gameplay systems - all within a 9 month period from the release of Tree of Tranquility to Animal Parade.
As to why I like Tree of Tranquility so much:
I am just not a fan of the antiquated rural ideals and stereotypes Wada mixes very well in all of his games.
He added those into Animal Parade, and also just pretty much turned Tree of Tranquility into a depressing hot mess with plotholes.
I had already been so used to the (then) complexity of the character narrative in Tree of Tranquility that coming to Animal Parade felt like the characters had been body snatched. I have a whole dissertation on my blog about the character narrative of Maya, and I could write about every single character of the game and the ways they stand out in ToT compared to AP. Between the two, for what the story was supposed to be, it also felt less impactful when playing Animal Parade, than when you literally got told how much of a difference you were making throughout the story of Tree of Tranquility.
(Of course, this isn't to say Tree of Tranquility doesn't have its own problems, it does! But you can't escape narrative bias in any media - it takes critical analysis.)
I think Animal Parade holds its own as a game, and I can see why so many people enjoy it. However, narrative wise I will always choose Tree of Tranquility.
Island of Happiness is also the same in this regard. Hikaru Nakano was not satisfied and felt that the game could be iterated on further, and thus Sunshine Islands was created. For me, Island of Happiness felt more tight knit but also diverse- what with the single community island, branching heart events instead of linear ones, and overall feel. I just couldn't attach myself to Sunshine Islands despite the fact it was supposed to have "enhanced" the story presented in that generation.
Feel free to hit me up about this more, I love talking about this topic specifically :)

Under the Stars
So.... I made a ScaraxMona (WanderMona) fanfic a while ago and left it sitting on my stuff cause I wasn't confident or sure if I should post... But two days ago I got high on caffeine and in abstinence of my anxiety medicine which gave a sudden burst of courage and completely off my rails... then later had a depression crisis that E and the squad had to deal with (sorry guys)
So, in the middle of that, I forgot to post here too... So here we are.
Hope you guys like!
ScaraxMona Playlist: Spotify/Youtube
____________________________________
Original Notes: So, this was a impulsive writing I had after watching some Scaramona montage on YouTube (thx Feniko) and then went into Scaramona hell. This was written before Sumeru Arc and was sitting on my stuff cause my anxiety is really bad lately and having no therapy isn't helping, but on a crisis today I fixed some stuff on it when i had no internet and decided to post on impulse (again) and I'll probably regret later cause I have no idea where this is going aside the fact I have a playlist, took coffee and am on VERY HIGH ANXIETY AND CAFEINE DRIVE SO LETS GO YAHOOO
THIS CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM SUMERU ARCHON QUEST
---------------------------------------------
Under the Stars
(You collected Part I of "Ocean of Stars and Wondering Clouds")
When Mona met the Wanderer, she didn’t know why she was so aware and suspicious of him, but her sixth sense didn’t let her guard down for any minute. In fact, everytime he showed up she would be more aware of him. The traveler had told he was someone they had met before, but many things happened and it was complicated to explain why she didn’t remember, but he went through a lot and had changed.
They had met when the Traveler got her into the Akademia through their connections (which later she found out that was no one other than Sumeru’s archon herself), but not as a student, just a researcher who had access to their library and facilities as much she wanted as long it had to do with her subject of study.
She had seen through the constellations that Traveler would save the nation or do something along those lines, but then again she avoided looking too much or taking it as raw truth, the memory of the former adventurer she met still haunted her once in a while. Normally, she would pick on their constellation just to see how they were, if they were doing well or alive in their long months apart in adventures and then continue her day. If she happened to look and they weren’t doing well, she would send a letter. She would look into the stars later and learn they were getting better and wasn't exactly because of her letters, but there was a weird relief to send them.
So when she received a letter back telling her to go to Sumeru and she got free access to the whole library, to say Mona choked on her tea, would be completely right. She was on her way to Sumeru the very next day.

Since day one when I found your stories, I've stuck to them, Bird Song is perfect as Home to you.
Never forget all the complex feelings that I get while reading them and how every day I refresh your page to find a new chapter. How lucky are we to have you as a great writer.
Thanks for your Art and for sharing that with us.✨
by the way, I am dying for Bird Song's new chapter and also Home to You's final. I even dream about it and I always imagine how those stories go.
Good luck and thanks again.
Thank you for this incredibly kind message ❤️ Sometimes I can't believe there are people who feel this way about the things I write, but it really reminds me why I've kept posting and love to share my stories here with you ❤️
I'm so happy there are people who enjoy and are invested in Bird Song because I'm obviously highly invested myself, and there's nothing better than getting to share that with others!
As for Home to you, I've been slowly chipping away at the last chapter for months, pausing for weeks at a time, and while I know how I want it to end, on what emotional notes and so on, it's been such a struggle to actually put it into words. I think it comes down to a few things; for one, the whole Breathe-again verse is really important to me, and I want to get it right, and two, the longer it takes for the chapter to get finished, the more time I have to overthink it, and I'm so scared that it's going to be a huge let-down. So I've sort of psyched myself out (which is 100% just my own fault). But I do want and need to finish it, because I can't leave the fic without an ending that I've planned for so long. Sorry for that little ramble, but it's been on my mind lately and I feel bad for leaving it unfinished for months.
Thank you again for your kind words, it means a lot that you took the time to write to me ❤️

Happy 2nd Anniversary!
Hello everyone!
Today marks the second anniversary of this blog! Wow, I can't believe it's been two years already! (Note, I created the blog earlier but February 4th 2019 was my first original post here so I use that date as the blog's birthday)
I'm honestly suprised this blog lasted this long, since I'm a very shy person usually on the Internet and commitment isn't exactly my strong suit. But what can I say? I love it here and Tumblr feels like home at this point!
To celebrate I'm gonna reminisce a little bit and write down my thoughts about this blog. It's gonna get really sappy, I'm sorry.
Just kidding. I'm not sorry at all.
2022 has truly been the year of all time. A lot and I mean a lot of ups and downs. I started and ended my first job, went on vacation, had one of the worst instances of allergy + depression, you name it. In hindsight, every few months I was in a wildly different situation and mental state.
But the thing that overall made 2022 great was finally getting into art! To turn the ironic hate off for a moment, I love Fire Emblem. It's not my favorite series (Kingdom Hearts and Kirby share that position), but it's one I still adore and now am truly greatful for, because for a reason or another it was the only one it felt welcoming enough to me to actively make an account about it and be active in social media rather than a ghost after years.
Before I made this blog I wrote a few supports for the fire-emblem-heroes-supports blog. I think they were the first piece of writing I ever made willingly and not as part of a school assignment, and looking back I still cherish them.
Eventually I had the idea for this blog, and after a lot of hesitation in typical me fashion, fayesdiary was born! I mentioned it a few times already, but originally it was meant to be just meta analysis posts, a few headcanons and theories and my sporadic writings. Overtime though it became a lot more freeform in what I posted, and I think it's all the better for it!
I got the courage to write and posts my first fanfictions and slowly carved my own personal space here on Tumblr. Like, a very cozy rat hole. Over time, this blog became a personal hobby and it gave me a lot of satisfactions. I got close to some people I truly admire and made a few friends too!
And boy, then we get to last year, which has been an absolute blast in terms of creativity!
I don't think I ever had in mind making a dialogue dump website of Awakening, but it happened and I had a lot of fun making it and giving it a lot of tiny details! ...even if its layout has the stability of a Jenga tower and it's just the Gangrel arc. Whatever. It's the thought that counts.
I wrote a bunch more! Not as much as I wanted, but I made some stories I'm really proud of. And I took part in a few fandom events and not just one but two Secret Santas for the first time!
I took a shot at making wallpapers and made some I'm really proud of, especially the Three Hopes ones. They were so fun to make and the process was just tons of fun!
And that leads nicely to... making art.
See, the thing about me is that I always sucked at making art. I couldn't keep my hands stable, I am incredibly clumsy and I couldn't draw anything more complicated than simple childlike doodles. And while I loved painting, the fact I felt incapable of making anything good or that I could like lead me to not even bothering to try. Why bother if you're just gonna be disappointed and frustrated, after all?
Until I got into group painting at around July, and I loved it. I made some paintings I truly like, and that eventually gave me the courage to start drawing again. As a half-joke. Only this time, I decided to draw with references, and my whole world got upside down. Turns out I could actually somewhat draw if I had a reference! And somehow I never realized it in years!
Something clicked. I figured it'd just be a thing I'd do for a week at most and then drop like so many other creative projects of mine, but... it stayed. Not only that, but I got more invested into it. I went from physical to digital (with the mouse!), and eventually shifted to a graphic tablet a friend lent me (and then pretty much gifted me). Eventually the drawings became so many I decided to make an art blog! Me! An art blog! The me from even just early 2022 would have called you insane if you said it! And now not just that, but I'm even making preparations to open a Redbubble shop! I still can't believe it!
And a huge part is thanks to this blog, really! It gave me and still keeps giving me the courage to try new stuff, find new friends and people who inspire me, and lets me know people enjoy what I make or say. It's amazing, and it makes me feel so happy!
I'll be honest, I am grateful to this blog. It truly helped me get into a better place, and I can confidently say ever since I opened it I feel a lot happier. And that's coming from the local cynical bastard who usually hates themselves, but now? I went from hating myself to being neutral at worst for the most part. Even if I still have my moments sometimes, but that's normal. And now I actually have hope for the future!
But really, it says a lot that for once at the New Year party I wasn't the one who claimed the next year was going to suck. Heck, I was actually caught off guard when one of my friends said it and I said no, it's gonna be good!
Anyway, enough rambling. What I want to say is, thank you for everything. Thank you to the people who complimented me or even just commented on the things I made. Thank you to my mutuals and anonymous lurkers. Yes, I know you're there, I was and often still am one of you. And most of all, thank you to all my online friends I made here on Tumblr. When I think about it, we haven't known each other for that long, but I want you to know now I can't imagine a life without you and you brighten my day every time we chat. I love you so much and I wish you nothing but the best<3
Here's to plenty more years of this blog!
#not fire emblem#faye gets sappy#fayesdiary 2nd anniversary#faye#my art#(not) sorry for the long post but incoherent rambles are actually the best way to show my gratitude [citation needed]
