Neil Josten is yet another name in a long list of identities used to hide a boy long since dead from a past blood had been spilled to forget. Essentially, he is and always will be nothing. And yet there has always been one thing that made Neil Josten real: music. After his mother’s death, music and singing were the only things tying him the threads of reality by the strap of a well-worn guitar. Too bad he’s pretty sure that it’s also going to be the thing to kill him. Especially when Kevin Day, international rock star and blast of Neil’s past comes waltzing back into his life demanding he joins the upstart and infamous band EXY as its new vocalist. To make matters worse, Kevin’s unofficial shadow, Andrew Minyard with a rap sheet taller than he is has taken an interest in the lie that Neil Josten and has made it his mission to uncover the bloodied truth that lies beneath.

By all accounts, Neil should just pick up his guitar and disappear like he’s done so many times before, but the chance to be real and seen is almost enough for him to plant his feet for the first time in 11 years he’s been running. Going into the spotlight means certain death, but Neil’s just not so sure that leaving it would mean anything different.

It’s finally here!!! My addition to the @aftgbigbang hosted by the wonderful @defractum  And let’s not forget some wonderful art by @uzea-ke which can be found on her blog.

I would just like to thank everyone who made this fic possible from my wonderful betas @lirinchi & @metaphoricallytheworst who helped with the idea stage of this fic and listened to me rant and rave like an absolute loon  and to @nanfoodle who is to too good for this world and helped me polish and cut down this fic (ha) to the beauty that it is today. hey! i just want to say thank you for creating the aftg bingo event. i've never been as active a participant in any fandom, and aftg is my first actual fandom, and i always loved the bingo events in the fandoms i read. thank you. i'm looking forward to filling out the bingo, and it means a lot that you've created the oppurtunity for me to participate in this/

ahhhh you’re very welcome!! i honestly was inspired by the other creation events that AFTG has had (Andreil Week 2018, The AFTG Big Bang, and the ongoing AFTG Reverse Bang, to name a few), and i wanted to do something that hasn’t been done in the fandom before! this book series has changed my life, and i want to keep on creating and encouraging content creation for as long as i can. i’m super stoked for what you (and the rest) have in store for the community!!

Unbecoming: An AFTG Big Bang Production

So. After what seems like forever and a lot of writer’s block, it’s finally here. I did it, I’m proud of myself. And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing artist @still-waiting-for-godot

My contribution to the @aftgbigbang is Unbecoming. It’s an Ichirou/Kevin piece that I tried so hard to do well on, and can only hope I did it justice.

the self proclaimed foxes, a group of misfits who work days at palmetto garage, have a lot of very fast cars, expensive taste and a yearning to cause trouble and what better way to involve all of those than street racing. but things aren't all fun and games. the ravens are notorious for winning at any cost and now that one of their best racers has taken up a home at palmetto, driving for the foxes their leader will do anything to get him back or shut him up. and then, this no named kid from some small unknown town shows up and almost beats one of the foxes best drivers though he feigns even knowing how to really handle his car. the foxes take him in, but soon learn that taking in every lost cause has a price and this one might be higher than any of them could even imagine.
