This is kind of personal, but does anyone else feel disgusted when you find out other ppl like you?

Like it's just a pretty visceral feeling where I feel dirty all over.

I rejected a friend recently and we decided to stay friends(big improvement for me cause I used to just straight up ghost people or even quit jobs)but I can tell they still like me because no one finds me that funny when they don't and I just. I'm starting to hate them a bit and I really don't want to because I know that's not their fault?

For the longest time I just felt general awkwardness, but after a particularly bad experience with a guy who wouldn't take no I'm afraid it's tainted every possible reaction after.

Instead of fear I feel disgust, which is worse because then on top of my regular feelings I also have to fear guilt from rationally knowing it's not their fault if they catch feelings.

Idk, does anyone have any stories to commiserate? I feel like ppl would look at me like I was crazy if I said this irl.

Most people think that Technoblade is the one with the most bottled up feelings but to be honest I feel like that is Philza. He's always the father of the group and the one you always expect to be the "responsable" one, of course that bird man knows how to hide his emotions and keep them all inside him which sometimes makes unable to actually show them freely.

I feel like an example of that is Technoblade's execution, most people put Philza in fanarts or animatics in a really emotional state. But to me, how Philza actually reacted was more like "Oh... This is actually hapenning... huh?-" like in acceptance, I hc that he was in shock and didn't know how to properly respond to the situation at hand. Also because he's inmortal, he has seen many people die in his life but seeing Technoblade almost die was the second thing after many centuries that made him shed more than a tear afterwards. (First one was when wilbur died)

I’m nodding my head in agreement here. Techno is actually pretty emotionally stable and in touch with himself, but philza is hiding his emotions a lot. Or maybe not hiding, but a lot of people read philza a little wrong if they don’t actually watch his pov. This includes the other caracters as well. (Witch is one of the things that make story told like the dream smp so fun. You get really close to one caracter, but it’s harder to read other caracters becouse you only see them trugh somebodyelses eyes. You don’t get the other caracters ‘’inner monologues’’ from the streamer when you just watch one pov <3 love that)

Love how you used the execution as a exsample becouse it fits really well! If you’ve only watched techno, tubbo or quackity’s pov you wouldn’t know that philza broke out of his ‘house arrest’ to follow the butcher army as they went to find techno. Philza knew they were comming and his ‘act of surprise ’ when they brought techno in is only half true. Philza had hoped techno would have been able to escape (he knows techno like that) and his ‘’I can’t believe they actually cought you’’ is genuine but not quite as dramatic as the animations make out. But there is genuine concern for techno and resentment growing for new l’manberg growing in phil when he sees tubbo and fudy (and quackity and ranboo but they don’t have too much of a ‘conection’ with phil yet) actually go trough with their plans against techno.

But for someone who doesn’t watch phil or techno and might not ‘know’ philza as well during that scene might think of his emotions like dipair and fear for this frend and his own entapment. But someone who watches both techno and philza can see that phil is actually keeping a very leveld and calm attitude, conerned? Yes, techno is his best frend after all and loosing him like this would be horrefying. But not quite in dispair like he was over having killed wilbur. Shock is a good reading of his feelings, but i also found him more frustrated that he can’t do anyting than sad. (Phil was not happy when tubbo shot that arrow at him. Litterly a ‘’philza will remember this’’ type of moment lol)

Techno and Phil both hold their emotions close and uses them to fouel their actions. But techno is better at knowing himself and making himself clear with what he’s saying (if only people actually listen to him) and philza tends to pretend and hide his true feelings, like a mask that might look like what he’s actually feeling, but it’s a little stiff. Philza might also be better at lying than techno, like in a cassual way. (Techno is actually pretty bad at telling lies when confronted, he can make exscuses and avoid the question, but when confronted directly he gest … idk ‘figety’? It’s fun to see)

I’m once again rambeling. There are just so many ways to inerpert them! Philza and his emotions is so funny to see in how he RP’s as a content creator, and i feel like he’s really grown a lot at being more clear when he’s ‘acting as a caracter’ in the qsmp vs the dream smp.

i've been obsesing over a tlt twilight au solely because of the silly edit with harrow seeing alecto alla bella seeing edward and.

it's so silly and dumb but gideon being the vampire and ianthe being the werewolf and they both obsessively pin over the weird loner wet rat harrow that just moved into town. i wanna say camilla, palamedes, dulcinea (the real one), protesilaus, jeannemary and isaac are part of the same family, all vampires, with abigail and magnus being the parental figures (basically the cullens). the third and second houses i'm thinking are all the werewolves, maybe the eight too. i just love the idea of ianthe and coronabeth being raised to maybe one day both take over the pack until they find out coronabeth is in fact not a werewolf. john and all the remaining of the first would be the volturi ofc but all the cavaliers would actually be alive? i haven't thought that far.

If the KOSA bill passes tomorrow and it goes through the House and becomes law, I'll be inactive. I don't want to give websites my personal legal info. I'll lose many of my roleplays on Discord, I'll lose my reblogs and posts, I'll lose contact with my few online friends, and the little contact I have with my friends from school. But I'd rather that over my safety being put in danger because of a data leak or hackers getting ahold of my legal name, age, face, and potentially location.

I'm a girl, so if anyone with (certain) malicious intent gets ahold of my information, me and my family could be put in danger. I'm genuinely serious right now.

So... all queer and supportive readers should know Brandon Sanderson, a pretty rich author, regularly tithes to the Mormon Church (or LdS idk), who are very anti-LGBTQ+ and actively fund anti-LGBTQ+ policies and initiatives. And no one seems to care in the book community, which is so odd!

From his january 2023 statement (I think is the latest update on his LGBTQ+ views), he's trying to somehow fight the beast from within. But you can't reform an institution with a base built so strongly on discrimination like the Mormon Church (I'm not surprised he thinks like this given how insidiously anti-revolution his books are). That's not how this works. He sounds like he's trying to save face, like all this is a PR stunt. And maybe it isn't, maybe he's genuine but... Idk. It's been 17 years since his famous public anti-gay marriage statement. 17!! And he's changed so little in 17 years?? What a bunch of tepid bullshit. (Yeah he's older now and was probably raised conservative, but I was raised like that too. It isn't an excuse after 17 years!)

I'm glad he's changed somewhat and become more accepting, for the sake of queer people in his real life at least, I'm ok if queer people still enjoy his books and find his recent representation enough. But I don't think personal, private acceptance and the little representation he has now included in his books is enough when his money is still going towards said church via tithing/taxes. He's trying to stay neutral, keeping his fame, his queer fans, his public good face, but also his place in the Church, his binary essentialism and morals intact. You can't have it all, Sando! You can practice your faith separate from the institution if it really means that much to you. That's what someone brave would do. And I know you can't force someone to leave their church, but at least take a stronger stance instead of trying to play both sides!

Religious freedom becomes null when your church is actively funding and supporting discriminatory politics. Do not expect queer audiences to support you vocally or by giving you money when you think you can keep a "neutral" stance with your homophobic/racist church in a time when queer lives are being threatened everywhere with legislation and general public hatred, especially in the US, where he's from.

He's such a beloved author and no dares criticize him, but I think we need to address this as an inclusive book community.

(I don't even think his books are that great and a big reason why is because they suffer due to his narrow worldview, a lot).
