genuinely can someone explain this to me its not a complaint. im often scrolling the character tags and people post fanfiction there. of course they do obviously. whew almost panicked that i was running out of characters then realised i deleted twitter 5 years ago.

anyways so people post their fanfiction to tumblr. except they don't? why is there like a banner and description and chapter numbers but then no actual writing? is it meant to be just an au? am i dumb? i genuinely don't understand someone please help this happens to me like every week

New Year's Eve part 14

"Domhildr?"

"Mh?"

"Can you answer the phone please?"

We are at home. My place. I'm dressed in a fashion most of my colleagues would describe as pervert. I am incredibly scared of being seen right now.

Except from her.

She helped me put the makeup on.

We chose the skirt together.

The shirt is just enough ambiguous.

The tights are opaque. I cannot see the hair.

She's making me sing and hum.

And cook with her.

What is she transforming me into?

Dear God, I fear I have strayed from your path and I don't think I want to go back.

Because it feels great being like this.

Strong. Yet beautiful.

Smiling. Yet honest.

It's a whole new lot of sensations.

It feels okay.

But right now I am trying to fry some potatoes without sullying myself, and I am not doing a great job. All the while Domgildr is resting comfortably on my couch.

It's not the first time she's been at my place.

So when I hear the phone ring I think it's some kind of person who wants to sell me something.

"On it!" she says.

I like when she come here as she is.

I like being elegant while she is a bit of a hobo.

Opposite aesthstics, she would say.

I just thinks she's neat however she is. And she's even cuter when she smiles. And she smiles a lot more while being a hobo.

All fixated on contemplating her, the distinct sound of the oil jumping out of the pan. Meaning I need to focus a bit more on the tak at hand.

She takes the phone.

"Hello! Domhildr and Co, how may I help you?"

Her smile is brigther than the sun.

Nothing on the other side. I look at her for a second. She seems to wait for an answer. And then.

"Hello...? Can I talk to Sigismund please?"

Mother.

Domhildr looks at me in shock. I try to articulate silently "it's my mother", to no avail.

Why did she call?

What is happening?

In despair I let my cooking resume and take the phone from Domhildr's hand. She lets it go with ease, unlike the look she gives me.

"Hello, Mother ?"

"Sigismund, dear ! What just happened? Who was this girl? Dom... Domhildr ?"

"Sorry, Mother. It's... I've got her over. We are cooking. Together."

I am not lying. I am not lying. I am a good boy.

Boy.

"You bring girls home? Since when?"

"It's the first time."

I'm lying.

I'm lying to Mother.

But all is good. Domhildr take my hand.. Her fingers goes around mine. It feels good. Right.

"I see. Well, I wanted to call because your grandmother is visiting us next week. Surely you didn't forget."

I did forgot.

"We expect you in two days. With your fiancé. Have a great cooking session!"

It will be great. Despite you, Mother.

Domhildr looks at me with worry in her eyes.

But I'm okay. I smile.

"Guess they won't be too happy about that, mh?"

She looks at me.

Her hand still firmly in mine.

It's a tiny bubble lf happiness.

And reality won't break it.

Both. Antares does have a preference for someone who could pin him down with little effort but he also likes doing the pinning sometimes (even though it feels like more effort than just simply rolling over for his partner).

9. Is your muse attracted to any features in particular?

If we're talking physical features, Fivemind likes (on an aesthetic level) chunky silhouettes and angular shapes. Bright solid colours and simplistic palettes too. They're also into machines with an 80s or early 90s feel to them.

And yes their aesthstic tastes lean towards inorganic most of the times. They can be attracted to organic beings as well but it's less in regards to their physical appearance.

12. Is your muse easily flustered? Do they blush, swear, etc.?

Kelvin may not seem that easily flustered for someone who had very little experience in the realm of flirting and the like. He can still get worked up but he tends to keep his reactions muted (as much as he can).

Make no mistake though, he still feels things very intensely. He just bottles everything up by default.

Okay so ive moved farther in totk and I've got more things to say. Massive totk story spoilers below! Including the end of the dragons tears quest, so don't read unless you've finished that.

!!! TOTK SPOILERS !!!!

Alright so. Like I said. The end of the dragons tears quest. Oh my GOD. OUCH.

They built up Zeldas characterization so much more in this! I fell in love with her during the first totk cutscene and it only grew seeing the way other people in Hyrule talked about her, reading her diary, and then they hit me with THIS. HOW DARE YOU.

So here's how my progression went through the Tears quest. I was told to do them all in order so I did. When the Mineru cutscene came (why does that name seem so familiar??) and they were talking about the dragonification, I was like "oh no what if Zelda draconified herself that's why she's acting weird oh noooo ;-;". Then Sonia got murdered and we got introduced to the concept of Malice-disguised-as-Zelda, and I realized that's what modern day Zelda was, and I decided that the dragonification had just been included as a red herring. But NO. NO IT WAS NOT.

I kinda wanna write something in the future with little snippets showing Links reaction to each tear. I'm a huge Zelink shipper especially in botw and I think it would be a fun angsty fic to write. About all the pressure on him and then his absolute despair when he realizes what happened to Zelda..... ouch.

In other news - I finished the Gerudo quest. Gibdos scared the shit out of me because I thought they were like the redeads from OOT. Also riju looks SO PRETTY AND COOL AND GOOD AND I LOVE HER. I don't know what her canon age is so I'm trying to keep my appreciation to a minimum aesthstic level but holy shit man. I love her redesign.

I rebuilt lurelin!!! And I died like 5 times clearing out the camp but that is OK. It was so fun to rebuild lurelin, including the fact that this time I had to bring logs and actually help build some stiff instead of just delivering wood all the time. It was such a heartwarming quest line and I don't like it as much as Tarrey Towns but I do love it.

I did some more stuff to but I don't have the time lr energy to write anymore. So. Stay tuned for part 4 I guess!
