The short answer: Yes.

After discovering there were more humans out there, Bonnie gave them the boat to find them (with BMO and Schawbl stowing away).

Events would go down similarly up to when they arrive at Founder's Island.

When they find one of the Minerva bots, Marceline would give her son some alone time, not knowing that was a robot.

Sometime later, when they finally meet Minerva, she tells her story and decide for Finn to stay on the Island.

With Marceline as the mom who raised him, she would get into an argument and protective of Finn when she wanted to upload him.

Finn shows his birth mom his memories twice, convincing her that the outside world is okay.

Later, Marceline and Minerva would have a heart-to-heart conversation about Finn and how he's grown before sharing her memories of her raising Finn.

Every birthday, every holiday, every lullaby and kiss goodnight. The happy days and the hardships. The good and the bad. The kisses on his scrapes when Finn was younger. The comforting hugs whenever he had nightmares. Even that one time she danced with Finn as he did, singing Buff Baby.

When it was time to leave and return to Ooo, Finn would say his goodbye before Marcy hugged him, telling him that she was glad he got to meet his birth mom as Finn hugged her back and thanked her for coming with him and most importantly, for raising him.
