Adventure 1, Chapter 2 of Shifting Worlds
The players, Masterlist
Amon Drakerock, the dwarven card master.  Anton, the halfing wizard.  Zephyr, the elemental demon absolute healer.  Ghita Skarsgard, the Shadar-Kai rogue that mutliclassed into barbarian.  First Portion: Dug, the alchemical automaton artificer.  Second Portion: Mayis, the tielfing gunslinger pirate.
Chapter Two: The Adventure Ahead
Aboard the ship the PCs talk and bond with the main NPCs Princess Creed, Captain Jassan, and Head Artificer Medrash. Anton nurses his crush on Creed. About halfway through the five day journey, the Alchemical Dragon and its crew begin acting strangely - on edge, aggressive, frustrated, and irritated - save for Medrash, Jassan, and Creed.
While investigating the airship to find the cause of the crew’s unease, the players discover a locked room, they break in, and in the room they find a large black mirror that was seemingly pieced together in a frame that’s not its own. They find that the mirror is from the All-Mother to the Giants during the Giant-Fae war that nearly destroyed all livable lands of the world thousands of years ago. They break the mirror that seems to show a void staring back at them, watching their every move. It seriously injures Creed and minorly injures several of the players. They continue on to the Cursed Mountain after the crew returned to normal in order to finish their job for the Empress.
The Alchemical Dragon lands in High Sun, the Elven city on one side of the Cursed Mountain. Across the mountain range is the Dwarven city of Low Moon. They speak with the leader of High Sun, Solaris Reyora Volthar, and are given the most up to date information possible on the situation at hand. There are many more missing people than they expected and exponentially more than were reported back to Empress Lerissa. The group, including Creed, decides the best course of action is to load up on some resources in High Sun before hiking straight for the Cursed Mountain before they lose all of their daylight. On the slope of the mountain the group encounters a group of fiends, and during these attacks Creed collapses to the ground prone clutching her head in agony. After a few fiends are killed, the last one dies a horrific death of melting into itself with a sigil etched into its face.
They enter the cave system and mined out tunnels of what they’ve come to know as Mereth/Crimson Mountain. After investigating the higher levels, the group descends to the mine tunnels. In the twisting tunnel paths they discover the decaying corpses of many of the missing folks from both High Sun and Low Moon. They find one survivor to rescue and continue to investigate the mines. In the main cavity of the mines they find devils speaking to each other in front of a mirror similar to the one they destroyed on the Alchemical Dragon. While eavesdropping they find out that Lord Commander Malil has staged and went through with a coup d'etat once they left Artificum and they were going to be walking back into a trap to be executed. Lerissa Hellsfenn will be executed in three days. The group collectively decides to abandon their current mission of assisting in the retrieval of the corpses to save their companion’s mother and ensure later payment. They decided, after killing the devils, to take the black mirror and hang it from the hull of their airship as they flew back to Artificum.

AU Summary for my Memory Restoration AU (MR AU)
Tumblr media
This is MRSimon (Memory Restoration) aka SantaSimon
His head is inhabited by all the wearers of the crown: Simon, Santa, Sveinn and Gunther.
How did this happen, you wonder?
Tumblr media
While trying to find a way to fix her Simon, this world's Magic Betty came upon a spell that supposedly restored any locked away memories.
When she cast the spell on him while he wore his crown though she didn't just unlock Simon's memories, she unknowingly tore down the labyrinth inside the crown, releasing all the past wearers into Ice King's head.
Tumblr media
The sudden influx of memories of not only the past 1000 years, but also four separate lifetimes and personalities was overwhelming and incredibly difficult to adjust to, both for MRSimon and for his Magic Betty.
Tumblr media
But with time and lots of patience, they eventually managed to find some semblance of normalcy and happiness.
Sure, MRSimon's new condition's still far from perfect and he totally needs therapy, but he finally remembers Betty and can be with her.
And thanks to Santa and Sveinn he's found new distractions in knitting, baking and woodworking.
They're pretty much the happiest a couple suffering from Magic, Madness and Sadness can be.

Story Ideas I'm Never Going to Write #1: The Midnight Door
A mashup retelling of "Cinderella" and "The Twelve Dancing Princesses"
Main character is a young woman who is heiress to an estate and fortune that can pass down along the female line. Her father has remarried a woman with two sons of her own. Stepmother resents that Cinderella is going to get everything while she has two sons who get nothing.
Cinderella is in love with a seventh son who's also a soldier. An upcoming ball is going to be Cinderella's last chance to see him before he goes off to war.
Cinderella's father disapproves of this relationship, believing the soldier to be a fortune hunter. To keep Cinderella away from him, he forbids her from going to the ball and the family leaves her behind.
As Cinderella is mourning this, she is visited by a fairy who offers to help, giving her a ballgown and transportation to the ball (as well as magically ensuring that her family doesn't recognize her) so long as she returns by midnight.
Cinderella has a wonderful evening, bids her beloved a fond farewell after promises of everlasting devotion, and returns at the stroke of twelve. She thanks the fairy profusely, wondering how she can ever repay her.
The fairy says she'll think of something.
The next night, at the stroke of midnight, a door appears in Cinderella's room. When Cinderella walks through, she finds herself in a magical garden. The fairy states that the door will appear in Cinderella's room each night, which will allow her to come to the fairy's home and complete a few small tasks to show her gratitude for the help she received in getting to the ball. If Cinderella refuses, this will be proof that she is a wicked, ungrateful child deserving of magical punishment.
Cinderella has no choice but to agree. The door appears each night, and Cinderella spends each night completing tasks for the fairy--sometimes ordinary cleaning or gardening tasks that she doesn't want to waste magic on, sometimes on quests into the magical wilds to find items that are best retrieved by a pure-hearted human. Sometimes, the fairy offers magical help with these tasks, which only gives Cinderella more debt to work off.
This leaves Cinderella exhausted during the daytime, and eventually, her family notices. The stepmother thinks that this is proof that Cinderella is living a pampered, worthless lifestyle, and she convinces her husband that Cinderella needs to take up more responsibilities if she wants to live up to her role as heiress to the estate.
Cinderella tries not going through the door a few times, but time always stays frozen at the stroke of midnight until she goes through the door.
Cinderella's father figures out that she's going somewhere at night, but since the magic keeps everyone in the house asleep while she's gone, and keeps her from telling anyone the truth, he's unable to figure it out.
He recruits the help of some eligible young men in the area (hoping that this will also help her forget about the soldier and agree to marry a suitable man). Since the bonds of marriage are stronger than the bonds of gratitude that bind Cinderella to the fairy's service, the fairy gets worried that she might lose the best servant she's ever had, so she takes the precaution of stealing away the young men who try to solve the mystery, turning them to stone, and leaving them as statues in her garden.
The fairy has a brother who eventually comes by and learns about the situation. The brother doesn't approve of his sister's cruelty in general (which is why he interacts with her as little as possible), and he has a sympathy for humans after spending a portion of his young life as a changeling. He learns that his sister has no intention of ever allowing Cinderella to work off the debt, and he tries to force her to set Cinderella (and the stone suitors) free.
The sister is enraged, and with her stronger magic, she casts her brother out into the human world, leaving him weak and nearly powerless .
He's in this weakened state when a soldier comes by and offers help. Taking food from a human will leave the fairy in a debt to him similar to the one that binds Cinderella to his sister's service, but he's too weak to care much.
A conversation with the soldier reveals that he's actually Cinderella's sweetheart, newly returned from the war. The fairy is unable to directly tell him what's happening to Cinderella, but since he's now bound to the soldier's service, it is totally legal for him to set up a situation where the soldier can figure out what's going on for himself.
The fairy gives the soldier an invisibility cloak, and advises him to go to Cinderella's father and offer to solve the mystery. The father figures that this is a win-win situation--either the soldier solves the mystery and they resolve the situation that's harming Cinderella and stealing away these young men, or the soldier will get stolen away and her father won't have to worry about this unsuitable suitor chasing after her.
The cloak and the fairy bound to his service protect the soldier from any detection by the sister's magic, and he follows Cinderella and figures out what's going on. They could break Cinderella's bond of service by getting married, but Cinderella refuses to free herself until she can free all the innocent men who've been caught up in this.
The three of them figure out a way to save the suitors and defeat the evil fairy, Cinderella's father learns the truth and agrees to let Cinderella marry her true love, and everyone lives happily ever after.

Pony Express, my LONG-RUNNING serial lesbian cowgirl-mailman interactive fiction project has just finished part 3 & will quickly roll on into part four in a few days.
I know I'm always saying this with glistening hope in my heart, but if you've fallen behind, if you're new here, or if you've been trying to bully a friend into reading Pony Express, now is an excellent time to get/get them onboard! A thorough summary AND the entire text of part three (and two...and one) are available on my patreon! for free! BUT I will also write the world's most micro summary here. It'll get you the very basic info if you're the kind of person who's willing to hop right in to a journey in progress:
Lou Primrose (30 years old, 5'0", illiterate, hardworking, 3x rodeo champion) is a rider for the Pony Express, the Wasteland's mail service. Lou has agreed to transport an unusual package from the middle of the Wasteland to the nearly uninhabited coast: a glamorous redhead named Holliday Bell. A case of mistaken identity sees Lou brutalized and disabled by religious assassin from the church of Johnny Knives (god of death) Reckoning "Artie" Tehachapi, who attempts to atone for her wrongdoing by serving Lou until she's healed. Together (for better or worse) head toward the ocean through unknown and dangerous territory.

Fairy Tale Retelling I'll Never Write: King Thrushbeard as 1930s screwball comedy
The "princess" is the daughter of a business magnate who has managed to hang onto his wealth in the midst of the Depression.
Girl has some kind of "coming-out" ball where she insults all the men with the best '30s zingers available.
Including our young, handsome, witty hero (son of an even richer business magnate) who can go toe-to-toe with her in arguments, until she slaps him with a Thrushbeard nickname that sticks.
Her outraged father declares he'll marry her off to the first tramp who shows up at their door.
Thrushbeard, who's really attracted to this difficult girl, learns of this from his cynical, sharp-tongued, somewhat-socialist journalist friend, and makes some remark about how he'd be willing to live as a hobo to have her. Journalist friend retorts that Thrushbeard couldn't last a day outside his life of luxury.
Because this is a rom-com, this leads to A Bet. If Thrushbeard can successfully wed this girl in the guise of a hobo, he has to live like one for a certain amount of time, without drawing on his father's resources or letting her on to his true identity.
Thrushbeard shows up in disguise, there is Witty Sparring between him and the princess, and the princess winds up marrying him mostly to spite her father--if he thought this threat would make her apologize for her behavior, he had another think coming. Now his family legacy's tied to a hobo and he's got to live with that.
Unfortunately, so does she. The newlyweds are out in the street within moments of the wedding.
There is Comedy about how the princess haa no clue how to function outside her clean and glamorous world, and Thrushbeard's not much better.
With some assist from Journalist Friend (who is not about to let the story of the century slip out of his grasp) they manage to hop a freight car and settle down in a shanty town.
More Comedy about her total inability to complete domestic tasks. So it's not Totally Sexist, she gets the upper hand when her husband also proves unable to complete these tasks he claims were child's play.
There are various attempts to Find Jobs and Make Money, which are all humorously thwarted by Comedy Shenanigans. Journalist Friend has his work cut out for him just to keep these two idiots alive. (He wants to win the bet, but he also doesn't want to be responsible for his buddy's death.)
At one point, the couple winds up in a boxcar again and share a heart-to-heart where they finally see each other as people instead of sparring partners.
Princess finally starts a sidewalk stand where she starts to make a bit of money. In an Unfortunate Coincidence, Thrushbeard's dad shows up in the area, and Thrushbeard has to meet him as himself to keep him from finding out about this cockamamie scheme. During this confrontation (with his father who thinks he's shirking his responsibilities), Thrushbeard is inadvertently responsible for destroying his wife's stand.
To Thrushbeard's horror, his wife responds by demanding a new job to replace the one she lost, and his father gives her a job working in one of his houses.
Now Thrushbeard has to live a double life as himself and as the hobo husband his wife knows.
At a Glittering Party, Thrushbeard as Wealthy Heir is the center of attention while his wife is working as a servant and frugally trying to swipe scraps for his supper.
He tries to avoid her, but Tangled Comedy Mishaps lead him to stumble over her, sending her scraps flying and causing her major embarrassment as some members of the press recognize her.
In trying to help her, he acts too much like her husband, and the secret slips.
His wife slaps him silly.
She subjects him to a scathing tirade about what a heartless nutcase he is, and how the worst part is that she had fallen in love with her hobo of a husband, but he's not even real, and you can die in a ditch for all I care.
She tries to storm out, but he catches her by the wrists and tries to explain that he did it all out of Love for Her, and he did everything wrong and she can have her divorce if she wants, but he loves her more than ever and he'll love her until the day he dies.
She just stares at him, and finally she's like, "You're worse than a nut. You're a sap. And I'm the nut who's falling for it."
(It's a screwball comedy rom-com. Emotional realism has no place here).
Kisses, reconciliation, big proper society wedding. Journalist Friend wins big with his inside scoop (which Mr. and Mrs. Thrushbeard allow him to publish because he did keep them alive (even though this is all his fault) and the story's public anyway so they may as well get the facts from a friendly source.)
Thrushbeard and his wife both take steps to improve their fathers' business practices and help out their hobo friends.
Journalist friend gives them a wedding present of an unpublished photo of them standing in front of their shanty looking all gooey-eyed at each other. The couple hangs it in a place of honor in their fancy house, and the story ends on that image.

Fashion Fit for an Empress
I saw the 5th dress in my game while trying to dress another sim and immediately dropped everything to put it on her. And then things spiraled a little bit, and she ended up with 12 new outfits.

Adventure 1, Chapter 1 of Shifting Worlds
The players, Masterlist
Amon Drakerock, the dwarven card master.  Anton, the halfing wizard.  Zephyr, the elemental demon absolute healer.  Ghita Skarsgard, the Shadar-Kai rogue that mutliclassed into barbarian.  First Portion: Dug, the alchemical automaton artificer.  Second Portion: Mayis, the tielfing gunslinger pirate.
Chapter One: Artificum
The story started with Amon, Anton, Zephyr, Ghita, and Dug meeting each other at a skyport station following the same job posting - a call from the Empress of the Rulum Empire to meet with her at Hellsfenn Palace. They meet with Captain Jassan and go with him on the Alchemical Dragon airship to meet the Empress in the heart of the empire, the city of Artificum. Also aboard, the group meets Head Artificer Medrash Classenfair - the artificer responsible for the creation of the Alchemical Dragon.
In Artificum, they meet Empress Lerissa Hellsfenn, her brother Lord Commander Malil Hellsfenn, and her daughter the Princess Creed Hellsfenn. In a meeting with Empress Lerissa and Commander Malil, they’re made aware of the details of their mission, to investigate the so called ‘Cursed Mountain’ in a new region that recently joined the empire as a ceded region and investigate the mounting number of disappearances in the region. Princess Creed is to join the expedition as an ambassador for the empress directly.
The adventuring party is forced to stay the rest of the day and the night in the palace when it’s discovered that three cadets in the Royal Fleet overheated the delicate engine of the Alchemical Dragon while docked at the palace. The cadets are Prince Aelar “Eli” Goldenfenn, Prince Donnar “Coop” Scalefenn, and Prince Taklinn “Coal” Hammersfenn - the eldest sons of each of the Empress’ rulers and generals in the farther regions of the Empire. Because of their mistakes and the potential danger of the mission the crew of the Alchemical Dragon was about to undertake, the trio are ordered to stay at the palace.
In the early morning hours of the next day, the crew of the Alchemical Dragon take to the skies toward their destination - one that is several days of constant flight away.

AU Summary of my Genie AU
Tumblr media
This is GenieSimon
Tumblr media
In this AU Simon actually decided to get on the bus with Betty, which lead him to come across different artifacts than in canon.
One such artifact was an empty genie lamp which sucked Simon in to turn him into its new genie when he rubbed it as a joke.
Tumblr media
Once she got over the shock, Betty rubbed the lamp and became Simon's first master, trying to free him with her 3 wishes, but no way she tried to formulate it worked.
Once Betty's wished were wasted, Simon got stuck in the lamp and Betty held onto it, trying to find a way to get Simon out until she inevitably lost it during the mushroom war.
Tumblr media
Little Marcy became Simon's second Master when she found the lamp in the rubble while looking for food and water.
Simon, seeing the situation the world and this lone little girl were in got Marcy to wish for him to take care of her for as long as she needed him. Her second wish was to change the lamp into something more huggable and despite his warning, she tried to use her third wish to free him, wasting it.
Tumblr media
Thanks to her first wish, Simon was still able to leave the "lamp" though until she got old enough to take care of herself, then he was once again stuck inside the now plush-toy lamp.
Marcy held onto the Hambo-lamp until Ash sold it to some wizard. She tried to get him back, but was always one step behind as he got traded or stolen further until he eventually ended up in Finn & Jake's treasure pile.

Since I've been jojoing it up lately, I figured I should bring my old Part 4 OC from 2020 back and revamp her
I first created her before CDDH was announced, so does that mean I technically predicted Hol Horse being in Morioh? ;P
