Essential Questions To Ask When Choosing A Math Tutor
Locating a maths teacher for your child online could seem daunting. You should analyze every alternative and read every review, especially with many math tutor websites and applications available for download. You can search online for an English tutor near me to get the best options. You can assess a tutor's suitability and experience to provide you with the instruction you require by looking at their responses to these questions. Here mentioned are the essential questions to ask when choosing a math tutor:
How Much Experience Do They Have?
Finding out how much experience they have in tutoring services is crucial. Inquire about the kinds of pupils and the duration of their previous teaching experience. This will give you a sense of their aptitude as teachers and their familiarity with various methods of teaching arithmetic.
Do They Know The Kind Of Maths Instruction You Require?
Different strategies are needed for various math instruction formats. Inquire about the tutor's areas of expertise in mathematical education and whether they have any prior experience instructing the level of arithmetic you require. If you plan to learn math, make sure they conduct adult tutoring.
How Do You Connect With The Students?
Find out particularly from the chosen tutors how well they get along with various students. You can inquire further about their hobbies and the kind of student they get along with the best. You can find a special tutor for your child by clicking in-home tutor near me.
Final thoughts:
Find out how many pupils they have coached and what results they have obtained. Inquire with former classmates or bosses for recommendations as well. It might not be easy to make an informed decision when choosing a maths teacher, but it can be made easier by asking the right questions.

Okay so I'm gonna ramble more about 'The Wild Robot': spoiler alert:
Brightbill was never supposed to come this far, he's what they call a runt, the odds were stacked against him from the beginning of his life. He got raised by Roz and became the odd man out, they bullied him, no one accepted him. All that happens and he starts internalizing that hate..
But then the importance of a support system is shown, because even as Brightbill wants to quit, Roz won't let him, and not only her but Fink and Thunderbolt start supporting him too:
This is so amazing, because what Brightbill has been led to believe is a disadvantage Thunderbolt lets him know it's not, that it's even beautiful.
Not only that but he compliments Brightbills wings after making him, not letting him, but making him show his wings off, rewiring his beliefs.
Then you have the way Longneck took him under his wing among all those bullies, and all he did was be gentle with him and believing in him, and they did an amazing job in showing how important that is, making Brightbill take the lead to get all the geese out.
What made me even more emotional is that this moment Roz tells him: "Remember, there's nothing he can do that you can't". We see him repeating the same thing later on
motivating the rest the same way his momma did...
"Fly like you, not like them". You may not be able to fly like them, but you can fly like you, and it might take a little longer and a little more work, but you'll get there.
Its so beautiful to see what wonders a support system does. What a beautiful movie to all the people who grew up or are living with disadvantages that slow their progress, this gives some hope, that Endurance is a mighty force, we'll get there eventually.
#I think especially now that Im tutoring some kids this hits me hard#because those kiddos are so insecure#so ashamed of making mistakes#so ashamed that they cant perform better and read faster and remember things#and it makes me so sad#especially when i see them get shy when I compliment them#or when they make their accomplishments less#the support system is so important#so insanely important for kids and adults alike#the wild robot#brightbill#roz the wild robot#rozzum unit 7134#fink the fox#pedro pascal#lupita nyong'o

one of my favorite senarios to imagine to put yukio in is sending him 10 years into the future (with the exwires usually) and everyone from their class are like chill adults including himself working their boring ass exorcist job and hes trying to assert dominance over them as the teacher™ but they're all like bro why so serious?
#somehow in my future au i accidently made only the boys active exorcists im so sorry to all the women in aoex#they all passed but i think shiemi and izumo would leave to persue other passions but still be in ajacent fields#like shiemi still runs her exorcist shop#idk what izumo does maybe she still is an exorcist but shes on leave trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life#cuz so much of her adolescence was focused vengence for her family i think she would be kinda lost as an adult#ive said this a bunch of times but rin isnt actually an exorcist for the same reason izumo isnt#ive been kinda muddy on my own timeline but either he passed and left or he dropped out of school and ran away#i think hes like an independent demon slayer like a contract worker#so he still is basically an exorcist but not sanctioned by the vatican like as part of a mercenary guild or something#but he can still take exorcist missions if he wants to but usually its not worth it so he just helps out yukio or bon on their missions#i think after being a literal terrorist yukio got demoted and lost his license for a bit so hes still the same rank as he is now#but now hes medicated and he went to therapy#he has like no memory of highschool to almost a concerning degree and hes generally pretty muted but is still well liked#bon had a completely normal exorcist experience against all odds actually so did koneko except koneko went back to the myoda#and then shima got scouted for his amazing spy skills and works overseas#sorry shima ur not allowed to be an idol that might be the trigger for the bad end#anyway i think teen yukio would hate adult yukio because he thinks hes not allowed to be normal and happy#this is like the 4th time ive made this post like i said its one of my favorites#the reverse is rin going to the past and like tutoring the exorcist class#nobody wants to do yukio psychoanalysis but me so i gotta step up to the plate#jk theres a lot of good yukio fanfics#blue exorcist#ao no exorcist#yukio okumura#rin okumura

Someone pissed me off a couple of days ago
So! Below are several links to programs and foundations that promote adult literacy! Hundreds of millions of adults world wide were failed by their education system and now must fend for themselves while trying to read contracts and hospital bills and infographics from the CDC. But they don't have to be alone, and it is never too late to learn!
ProLiteracy: A network of educators, researchers, and advocates which provides research reports, learning materials, and other support to adult education programs. They assist with connecting volunteers to local programs and provide guidance and support to community leaders trying to use their programs' findings to advocate for social and political change.
Adult Literacy League: An adult education program in Central Florida, which aims to provide students with one on one attention to foster growth and confidence. It also offers English Second Language courses and job skills training, and each new student receives a comprehensive assessment to determine the best plan for them.
Saint Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center's Foundational Skills Program: A 100% free adult education program aimed at adults reading below a fifth grade level. It operates year round and is either in person or remote, and they now have a GED testing center that is open to students and the public alike.
Washtenaw Literacy: A free network of trained tutors for adults in Washtenaw County, Michigan.
Adult Learning Program (Las Vegas/Clark County): Free education classes to those lacking a high school diploma, those seeking to learn ESL, and adults who read below an eighth grade level. Also assists in students' search for gainful employment. Nevada got so fucked by COVID and the education/literacy numbers in the South West are grim. Please help these guys.
Hawaii Literacy: In addition to helping adult residents of Hawaii Island learn to read and write AND bridging the education gap in Hawaii's underserved children, they offer computer literacy classes, ESL classes, and a bookmobile. 1 in 6 Hawaiian adults struggle to read and write.
#Not Stories#mutual aid#adult literacy#'uuhhhggg its soooo disappointing when i meet a girl who's like 'yeah omg i luv 2 read'#'and then she only reads booktok trash and grocery store thrillers and manga'#'like come on thats such a turn off :/'#'like aren't you bored??? what about reading The Foundation and War & Peace and Grapes of Wrath where's THAT girl haha'#nobody gives a shit what sort of high school reading list gets your dick stiff! NOBODY!#I'm too busy dealing with the fact that most public education systems hate students of color and anyone with a learning disability#from the very bottom of my very dyslexic heart go fuck yourself#'this chick only read 8 books in twelve months lmfao thats so pathetic'#'i read eight books a MONTH some people really give up after high school'#do you think my great grandfather or his father got to fucking finish high school????#or were they busy getting fucking shot at in germany in two different fucking wars????#thank every god you wanna name that my lunatic mother stopped abusing me long enough to put me through FIVE YEARS OF TUTORING#to get ME literate because that's what it fucking took#I watched more than one kid from my underserved semi rural district drop out at 17 or 16 or 15#because their parents needed a third paycheck or they were gonna lose the goddamn house#10% of my majority black school district graduated FUNCTIONALLY ILLITERATE and not an ounce of it was those kids' fault#our racist ass school district failed them and the district did NOT protect my white ass when I was diagnosed dyslexic#the adult literacy crisis is not about you getting a girlfriend who can discuss Ayn Rand with you#the adult literacy crisis is about us being exploited and neglected and made easier to control and manipulate#reading is FUCKING HARD and learning to read after the age of six is SO MUCH HARDER#so from the VERY very bottom of my VERY very dyslexic heart#FUCK. #one of my silly little goals this year is to talk more about my accomplishments even though they aren’t super recent#I’m tired of resigning myself to being a burnt out former gifted kid. I studied at Oxford for a term.#I taught a college class. I TA’d for two other college classes. and volunteer TA’d for the department’s hardest course offering#because I was already being used as a TA that semester for a different class and the professor still wanted someone to run review sessions#I had professors fighting over me to do work and research for them! I had departments fighting over me! I did summer research!#I was the first person in my department in nearly a decade to ask to do a senior thesis. for fun.#I ran programs and clubs and I was a writing tutor for the writing center AND the resume lab/career center#I was the only person in my writing professor’s tenure to earn a 100 on my research paper for that stupid fucking class#in high school I was second in my class and did it while writing one-act plays for production and doing district choirs and acting#I’m so so so tired of beating myself up and falling to my knees and doing penance for the past 4 years.#I fumbled some stuff at the start of my 20’s. I’m an adult with ADHD that no one clocked while I was growing up.#I was supposed to go to St Andrews for an MLitt and then the pandemic happened and I had to withdraw.#I just need to get over it and stop agonizing over every misstep I’ve made since college#otherwise I’m never going to make it out of my 20’s alive#so yeah. for those of you who don’t know! I am a silly cumdrunk braindead good girl PART-TIME#the rest of the time I’m clawing my way back to the high standards I set for myself from first grade onward#my stuff#ignore me i’m rambling

Salieri’s whole childhood experience of being orphaned while prior having not so good relationship with his father, and then pretty much tutoring every willing person free of charge and leading charity concerts for any category of people makes him so admirable honestly
Man looked at his past experiences and said ‘no one’s having same shit on my watch’ and high key parented almost everyone he met or tutored in his life
I feel like no matter what class or amount of fucked up spirit origin Salieri always will prioritize children or teens be it humans or other servants. Even if it’s child like servants with adult minds he still acts on his parenting instinct without being insulting to other party (and they probably don’t even notice it until much later).
If anything even happens man will BEND his own already fucked up and extremely unstable spirit origin and even maybe overcome his own Innocent Monster/Man in Gray aspect to PROTECC and ATACC if it means young ones will be save
Salieri really be thinking he’s not that good of an any positive image of a mentor or god forbid parental/family figure and then the rest are like ‘you’re literally a perfect parent figure what the actual fuck sir—‘
#fate grand order#fgo#antonio salieri#man parents his own minions and every child he meets#be they orphaned or no he adopts them automatically#it’s his passive skill of EX level#salieri is literally being best teacher/parental figure out there without even trying to#salieri: I am a bad influence and not good at tutoring or being a parental figure to those children#says the man surrounded by happy children and teen servants like they’re ducklings following their duck mom#children be constantly addressing him either as uncle/papa/mama/teacher and so on salieri probably doesn’t even catch on that#he probably also parents half of adult servants too without others even realizing HDBJDNDJDJDJ#he’s the Grand Parental Figure#Idek it’s so funny and sad that a literal Avenger wronged by humanity as a whole is pretty much cares so much about others’ well-being

Siiiiiigh, I really wanted to like this show. But it’s only episode 1 and we are already feeling aimless, doing long filler scenes that violate internal story logic, and experiencing an identity crisis wrt genre and tone. It’s another miss from Domundi for me, I fear.
#but hey tutor is still very pretty#and yim gets to play a functioning adult this time!#so at least they have that#best of luck to those of you who continue watching#battle of the writers#thai bl#shan shouts into the void

i thought the media literacy problem was an online only thing but i keep replaying a conversation i recently had where someone asked me why i didnt like atla (after id said i didnt want to talk about it) and i said the very standard "two white men wrote a fantasy story where they made up fake asian countries and words and names and apparently made a parallel to an irl slaughter of a bunch of buddhist monks" and they spent altogether too long explaining to me the plot of atla and its morals then sat there staring at me as if they'd answered a question i had or something and somehow the two white men writing about fake asian countries had been sainted
#this was an employed adult ive known for a while now#+ a while back i was watching news with someone and the 'expert' being interviewed was using a TON of conspiracy lingo#i pointed it out and the person i was watching with was like 'but theyre being interviewed as an expert' like please. please man#like. idk how 'impartial' an 'expert' is on asian politics whenoperating with the suspicion that coronavirus was a chinese bioweapon in 202#the most recent fh adventuring party had a good quote about how you can be well educated and tutored but you cant teach curiosity

Hello, Nimo!!~ I've brought flowers for all the sad boys! <3 (I wonder who will know about the meanings and who won't, hehe. uwu I listed the flowers' meanings just for you~) Yamamoto: Evening Primrose (eternal love, sweet memories)
Gokudera: Alstroemeria (powerful bond)
Dino: Hepatica (confidence, constancy, trust)
Reborn: Parry’s Dwarf-Sunflower (adoration, your devout admirer)
Hibari: Peony (prosperity, bashfulness, romance)
Enma: Myrtle (heartfelt love, good deeds, peace)
Byakuran: White Cape Jasmine (Healing, purification, secret love)
Dreamie mun: Thank you so much, huuno!! This is such an adorable ask awwww.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Yamamoto Takeshi
❝Wow!❞ Takeshi was surprised to be handed a yellow flower, ❝ahaha, thanks!❞ He grinned. He hadn't been given a flower in so long, probably since elementary...? He wasn't the most well versed in flowers but this was pretty and he liked how yellow it was. With his grin still in place he placed it in his hair. ❝Ahaha, how do I look?❞
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Gokudera Hayato
❝Hah?!❞ Hayato found himself both bristling and flustered at the flowers given to him. ❝What's that about!?❞ He knew what those flowers meant! He had been studying up on them because he wasn't going to let someone like Byakuran send sneaky messages that he wasn't aware of. ❝Where do you get off giving me this!?❞ What did she mean by ❛powerful bond.❜ With who!?
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Dino Cavallone
Receiving flowers wasn't out of the ordinary for the Cavallone don, however it was always a kind and welcomed gesture. In spite of this being a usual occurrence, Dino wasn't much of a flower guy and thus didn't know the meaning of the flowers. He had a guy for that!
Dino smiled at the giver, ❝thank you, miss. I appreciate this.❞ He flashed her a smile before playing the flowers on top of his head, a boyish grin on his face. ❝Well? Does it suit me?❞ He asked, laughing.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Reborn
❝Grazie signora!❞ The cursed version of Reborn responded, giving her a small bow as he took his fedora off. He then straightened up, put his fedora back on and then placed the flowers in his hat, making sure to also decorate Leon with them. ❝We appreciate this.❞ He said, gentlemanly. Reborn knew what the flowers represented and wasn't surprised to receive them. It was often he was given flowers that stated such heartfelt messages, even though he himself didn't reciprocate.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Hibari Kyoya
Kyoya stared at the flowers given to him, his expression unchanged. ❝Hn.❞ He was going to walk off, without the flowers or responding however he saw that Hibird had gotten to the flowers and seemed to enjoy them. For that reason and that alone, Kyoya picked the flowers up along with Hibird. He didn't thank the giver but he accepted them.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Kozato Enma
Enma paused, watching the giver who gave him these white flowers. His expression remained morose and uncertain. Enma wasn't lucky nor was he likable so to someone to hand him flowers made him wonder if it was a trap. Was this poisonous? The flowers are white...did this person wish his death? Enma was going to refuse but then a thought came to mind, a memory forgotten. His little sister giving him flowers with a big smile on his face. For that reason and that reason only did Enma accept the flowers, ❝...Thank you.❞ Came the quiet reply, he then ran off. He didn't want this moment stained but he also didn't like the feelings that erupted in his heart.
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Byakuran
Byakuran gazed down on the flowers, immediately knowing what the flowers represented. It made him chuckle. ❝Fufu, is that how you see me?❞ He asked, raising the flowers to his hair and placing them inside. ❝Fufu, or is this a confession?❞
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Dreamie mun: this was fun! Thank you again! Hope you like these little icons, hahaha.

"my motivation to do art is no driving force, it is an extension of my body, like an additional limb.
It comes naturally to me because being human is (mostly) natural to me.
It is not a passion, but a fact of life for me.
I do not need passion, motivation, or a drive to do my art simply because I will do it regardless, as a human."
I think this rhetoric of social rules around doing art needs to change, particularly in academia.
"I can't do art anymore, I don't know where to start, I don't know what is wrong with me!"
"well what motivates you? what art do you like?"
*LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER*
❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️
"Well, let's take time away from doing art then. Instead, I'd like you to observe your environment and the feelings you hold in your body right now, even if they have no name. You need to go and experience. Talk to more people, go to events, then come back and tell me about them. We will reconvene then."
✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️
I'm not saying it's about making art therapized, but rather that taking care of the body in turn will take care of problems you are facing.
different students need different types of help. it's not a one size fits all. But I know now that if I cannot do art it's because I'm not talking with other people who do art. I'm not investigating the world, and I don't care about anything.
The idea shouldn't be that I need motivation to return as soon as possible, but rather I need to re-adjust my focus onto something else for some time.
"but what if they never do art again!"
you fail to recognise that we always do art. it is a human trait. it just changes, like we do. recognising the changes can be so important to an artist, so noticing how your body is responding is imperative to connecting with art again.

me age seven being sat down in front of the school’s district child psych lady and being given strange, simple spatial puzzles to solve and then long, complicated worksheets and hammering my way through them at the speed of light while having zero comprehension what their purpose was or why i was here: this is urgent! i have to get a good grade in Weird Puzzles, Or Else, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve,
#kjalkjsdalkjasdl mrs button was a nice lady but not one adult in my childhood ever seemed to notice what to me now seems like#a pretty obvious case of the autisms#then again maybe they just didn't look as hard unless it was *really* obvious back then . it was like. what. 2000? a couple years later#everybody was talking about autism but not when i was six or seven then it was usually just when it was Very Visible#a couple years later my cousin who's more visibly on the spectrum than me got her diagnosis so young that she's pretty much always had it#which is...well i think it's just made her life difficult in a different way. people underestimate her or don't treat her like she's her age#but then she's always had the opportunity to get accommodations and people are sometimes more forgiving when she can't do something#whereas i got labeled 'kid that should be ahead of the game' from a pretty young age and then when i struggled adults either ignored it#or it was just a huge hassle to them and even i could see it exasperated them to have to work around me#but because mrs button (nice lady but what were you thinking) hadn't told them to treat me like a kid with a developmental disorder#they didn't do that in good OR bad ways . so i never got any accommodations with school stuff i struggled with which was a fair bit#i wasn't supposed to need extra testing time in a quiet room or tutoring with math or help organizing my abysmally scattered things#the only time i DID get that was in sixth grade when i was sort-of friends with this kid jonathan who was Very On The Spectrum#he wasn't really a talker unless it was about whatever he was reading which suited me fine so we just kind of existed in each other's space#and his TSS was this very smart and nice lady who had clearly clocked that Something Was Going On With Me and even though it wasn't like#her JOB she made a little bit of time for me. mostly with emotional stuff (i think i was under the impression she was a therapist?)#but if i had some problem with being unable to keep friends or being frozen out by the kids i wanted to be liked by (happened often)#she'd be able to just like. be there she'd make the time . wish i could remember her name
