are all two halves of the same coin. Nina and Jesper both are the flirty, extroverted ones, and more importantly, they both suffered from addiction. But while Nina immediately started trying to end her addiction to parem, Jesper kept going back and ruining himself. Wylan and Kaz were both pushed into the barrel and had to survive, but Wylan kept himself from become a monster. Kaz, on the other hand, embraced his new life as a criminal. And finally, Inej and Matthias. They both are faithful and religious. However, Inej always used her faith to be merciful. Her religion made her a better person. Matthias believed that to stay loyal to his god, he needed to kill and persecute others simply for existing.

Alright, so I’m one of the few dozen translators who worked on bringing The Sunshine Court to Russian. What makes me stand out? I’m a beast when it comes to handling massive texts, and that’s how I managed to crush the translation of TSC in just about 10 days 💪📚

Cause after 10 days of grinding on a text in a non-native language, I was legit losing my mind and had to pop some pills, haha Oh, and quick question: do you write too? Like, when I’m not drowning in massive translations and actually have free time between studying, I write short fanfics or original stuff (but I don’t post them, haha). What about you? 👀

The young Prince treated his role as future husband with the utmost seriousness and surrounded his future wife with special care and attention. His niece appeared wherever he was – her joyful, lively, warm laughter could be heard from the other end of the Red Keep.

It was said that although the gods had deprived him of the dragon of his own, in blessing they had sent him his little lady, whom he easily bestowed his affection on. Even the gossip about who her father was, though the subject of great discussion and ridicule at court, could not obscure from him the smile of her rosy lips, the caring look of her bright eyes, the touch of her soft hand. It seemed that Prince Aemond was doomed to love and adore her, and she accepted his hidden weakness towards herself with gratitude and contentment, allowing him to easily fill her whole heart.

Ok but like for me the tone and pace of that NC scene was kinda everything. This is the first time they're being intimate with there being no lies or guilt between them. Phu now knows that there has never been another version of him that his man has ever wanted, our Phu has always been IT for Cir from the start. And Cir has owned up to everything and Phu is still choosing him, he's being fully and truly himself. The one that has loved everything about Phu from the moment he heard his voice. There's nothing holding either of them back. This moment has been coming for YEARS. And I feel like they handled showing that very well. The intensity of if. The rough, desperate feel to the way the touch each other. Everything about Cir's well, entire existence basically - expressions, actions, movements, sounds ... visuals. The MOANING. It all just builds into the relief they're feeling to know that their first choices are each other. I don't know about y'all but that shit hit me like a mack truck ok?
