A Multilingual short story writer whose works explore found family, psychology and the true self. Satoshi's works are extremely hard to translate because of his tendency to switch languages mid sentence.

He is most known for 'Tales of Crimes and Punishment', it seems to contain many different codes and therefore has yet to be fully translated.

One of his lesser known books 'Myosotis Meadows' is about how a person with Alzheimer's who somehow finds and befriends the same people again and again, no matter how often they forget.

A series of Short Stories written in multiple languages and codes. Commonly about the lives of a criminal family who care deeply for each other

There has yet to be a complete translation because of the codes

His pen name is Ayato Satoshi. Nothing about their personal life is known, however they share a strong bond with two British Novalists, Sūke Harris and Abel Caine. He and Sūke Harris each dedicated a chapter to each other as 'Младший Брат'(Mladshiy Brat) and '弟'(Otōto-kun), both meaning 'Little Brother'

Ayato also had many chapters dedicated to Abel Caine, author of 'I Will Sleep When I'm Dead', referred interchangeably as 'Сестра'(Sestra) and 'Брат'(Brat), meaning 'Sister'/'Brother'

Ayato strongly looked up to Fyodor Dostoevsky and Nakajima Atsushi, they strongly inspired their love for writing. Ayato also admitted that Dostoevsky was a heavy influence of his book's Title, as they used 'Crime and Punishment' as a placeholder for the drafts

The overarching theme of Ayato's stories is about taking fate into your own hands and deciding your future

What exactly are grisha? Are they a species (like witches) or descendants of saints? I haven’t read ROW yet and KOS is just a fog in my brain but I wondering what happens to Alina now that she has no powers...is she still grisha? Did the...magical molecular component defuse from her DNA or something? Does that mean she’s sickly (like when she was repressing her powers) or is she just a regular person now? It’s annoying that the “fantasy” aspect of a fantasy series takes a backseat lol

Grisha are meant to be the designated magic-users of this setting, but I'm not really sure if Grisha power is meant to be hereditary or not. There are hints it might be with the Heartrender twins Tolya & Tamar, the Squaller siblings Nadia and Adrik, and the Morozova line. But there also appear to be "muggle-born" Grisha so maybe it's done in the same weird way as the Harry Potter universe.

I'm also not really sure how the powers mix; the Darkling's father was a Heartrender but he doesn't appear to have any heartrending abilities. Zoya's parents are muggles but she is an unusually powerful Squaller. Is Genya the result of a union between a Healer and a Fabrikator? 🤷🏽‍♀️

As for Alina, she loses her powers and immortality. I suppose her health returns to "normal" levels as she doesn't have to rely on summoning to keep herself healthy. I read a post where someone said how annoying it is that the fantasy aspects of this setting sometimes just gets relegated to set-dressing and that's definitely the case with RoW.

Personally, I don't think Leigh gave any of this too much thought. I mean, she accidentally named her magic-users "Greg" and then had to retcon it later lmao

Sirius chased after Stellan, glancing back at Isolde in her little baby bouncer. They were waiting for Lottie, but Sirius knew better than to rush her. The woman was pregnant with their third child. He snatched Stellan before he could run off too far and carried the three-year-old back over to the porch. "Last chance buddy, grab anything you want to take with you over to the Lupin house." He was going to help Lottie get the kids to the Lupins then he was going to pop over and pick up Harry.

Marlene was... exhausted... but she was looking forward to the party. She picked up one of the twins, Celeste and looked over at Gideon. "I'll take this one, you take the other." Decided to redo an old Picrew set of me and the boys! (Especially since I know the background decorations now)

I gave Suke his normal outfit and his favorite colors for his background, alongside some plant. His book looks similar to his original work 'The Dispute of the Flawless'. He made it Green because the color stuck

Adrik has his normal but with a Light Grey coat in place of his blanket. His background has his favorite color and a snow motif, he's sipping some tea : )

Aiden has his 19 outfit, still without his glasses for the beanie and his favorite colors for his background. I gave him moon and stars for the vibes and his phone

I finally get my fave hair! I have an outfit I could make via my closet. My fave color scheme for my background with an Autumn motif and a pretty autumn colored phone

I found another Picrew to make my boys; Adrik and Suke!

I don't know anything about Yaelokre, so the designs are just based on what I'd think they'd wear

Adrik has basically his normal outfit alongside his blanket cape and of course I gave him a rat mask. Keep an eye on your children and how you treat them, or he might just take them for himself : )

Suke's is a lot like his normal outfit, but with an added red dress and bandages. It didn't have a normal glove option, so bandages fit the best instead. Despite associating him with a dragon, I gave him a wolf mask instead as it felt right and fits his personality just as much. Beware sinners, for the Beast will track you down and they could be anyone : )

I also made one for Lord Hesko, but I'll post his once his redesigns are posted

I made some magical charms for me and my OCs

Aiden's is Red as his main color with Silver designs to represent his secondary White

The Gold rim references Tokyo mew mew weapons and the fact that he looks good in Red and Gold and has a spotted design as reference to Tikki

The heart detail mimics his TMM Mark as mice tails and his Pink heart gem is his aura/magic color and this overall design mimics his TMM Yo-Yo weapon

Mine is Orange with Gold accents because of my/Autumn color themeing for magic stuff

It looks like a mechanical watch with a butterfly motif cause of my liking for the butterfly effect with my AUs

The white diamond gem is because I didn't like how the other colors turned out and it matches my incarnates

Suke's has his Black and Red color scheme and looks like a starry night sky, the fog showing how he doesn't remember his first life

He also has the clock and diamond gem to match me, however his hands look more like scissors or sewing needles

It has a flower-like design and a bow motif, the Silver accents match his common choice and his Red gem matches Rashomon

Lastly, Adrik's is Purple with Silver accents representing his aura color and favorite color

It has a winged heart design to represent his mouse/butterfly and his very soul with a clouded purple within

It is cracked and has a butterfly motif with a matching gem to mine, showing his painful original death

His clock has no hands, as he prefers to live at his own pace and that he lost track of time when Universe hopping as Fyodor

He has no sparkles and only a dense fog, because of the many things he has forgotten and trickied even his own Palace into no longer showing on the surface

Unlike Fyodor's absence of one, Adrik's gem shows how he is slowly becoming his own person instead of hiding within the life of another

Found some more old Picrews while looking through my blog! I made my boys; Suke, Adrik and Aiden. (I couldn't get my new hair to look right on this one)

For Suke, I gave him his dragon vibes while in his casual outfit with some added hair bows! His background colors are his fave combo. He also has a bandaid because I wanted him to match his brother

Adrik has a butterfly theme with his fave 19 outfit/hair. The colorful bandaids are thanks to Abell because of Teress' scratches. I gave him some Tea and his background colors are ones I associate with him

And lastly Aiden! He has his original 16 outfit plus's a moon hair pin I liked. He is ready to write alongside having a red glowy stick! His background is his normal color combo with a heart shape for the only non-Aro in the trio.

I found an old Picrew while searching my blog for Clawian as an Eclipse reference

I decided to redo it with my OCs; Suke, Adrik, me and Aiden!

For Suke, he's in a pretty dress (he would normally have a long sleeved shirt underneath it) and his Dragon theme. The wings are made by Rashomon and he is simply in his bedroom

Adrik is in his cardigan outfit but his hair/eye is on the wrong side. I gave him a rat motif with a mouse shirt. And his flower has Fyodor's and his favorite colors, plus the yellow it came with that could represent his shadow. His background is his Ability color with the border looking like it's snowing, like his other Tumblr's (Аято-зима)'s aesthetic. His freckles are missing so he can have his eyebags

For mine, I based my animal on Clawien but it can still be interpreted as a moth. I gave myself headphones of my fave color and my fave shirt in this Picrew. My fave background looks like a sunset and the border is like a sun glare

And lastly for Aiden, I gave him his mouse motif with a dominantly red outfit and a red hair streak. His background reminds me of Momentos, but the colors still fit him. His border is based on his original 16 shirt and has magic bubbles is his fave color. The freckles are missing because they didn't look right with his skintone

I also made my other oc Clawian first

Other than their flowers being their favorite color, the rest is just Clawian's normal look
