Intro Post

Hello everyone! 

This is a blog for writers who are interested in writing aspec characters but may have questions about the identities. The goal of this blog is for writers to be able to submit questions and hopefully get some advice. 

If you aren’t a writer but you are aspec please feel free to follow as well, we would like to have a whole community of aspecs to give advice as well since this blog only has two admins.

As I said before, this blog is run by two admins. We are both arospec asexuals.

Mod Ryn is 23, uses he/they, and is amicusromantic and asexual.

Mod Atlas is 24, uses they/he, and is arospec and asexual.  

Now, here is how this blog works. 

If you are a writer looking for advice, please submit an ask. We will do our best to answer and if we don’t know we will still post it for others in the community to answer. 

If you are aspec, feel free to reblog or comment with your own advice for the questions. 

This blog is for all identities that fall under the aro and/or ace umbrellas. You can also submit questions for other aspec identities such as aplatonic or atertiary, but since the mods don’t fall under those categories, they will just be posted for follower advice.

If you have a question that may need a follow up ask or two, feel free to use an emoji to identify yourself if you are on anon. Just don’t use a purple or blue heart because those are reserved for the admins. 

Due to the admins being adults, we have busy lives so our posting days will be on Sundays and Wednesdays. Depending on how many asks we get we will try to get as much posted on those days, up to ten a day. 

As soon as possible we will try to get a post set up for frequently asked questions to cover some basics. 

Last but not least, please be respectful, we are all trying to learn here and one person doesn’t speak for the whole community.

I recently came across a really good "game" that helps focus on self care!

I can't recommend this app more, especially during this time. I know a lot of people can use something like this, so I wanted to share. This app is dedicated to taking a moment for yourself to recollect and breathe. And it's completely free with no ads to get in the way of a calm moment.

The more times you use it, more options are offered for what you can use; like a candle where you can set intentions or let go of things, a bubble blower to just drag pretty colors around, or a game to put away laundry. (My personal favorite is the breathing flower. You can even change its shape or pace for a focused, calm, or sleeping breathing pattern!) Almost everything in your virtual bedroom is customizable, including all the features and games, all have free options and paid options.

As you use the mini features, they raise a sun at the top of the screen so you know when you have reached a good stopping point, but you can keep going if you want to. Once the sun is up, you collect items that are placed on a small alter, and you can set intentions and write about your items there. The app also does a very good job at making you feel like you aren't alone working through things.

I have only been using it for a few weeks now, but it feels so great to use! I hope others can find it as useful as I do! And give the creators a follow at @selfcarethegame !

Hey, how's your crisis now that it's been handled?

well, it's mostly handled...i'm trying to file a report with DAMN admin on the incident but oh lucky me! vamps don't show up on tape and because we don't know which house they belong to, there's not much that can be done there.

Ryn's not too bothered by it...but those wounds were bad.

Would get really excited about the new trainee after he found out how young you were. 

He’d probably be your second mother tbh, but it’s just because he cares~

Did you eat today? Do you need vocal training? He’s gotcha covered! 

Would be the type to be openly concerned about you and would actively talk to you whenever he had free time. 

Yoongi:

Would be shocked about how young you are, but wouldn’t verbally support you. 

Meaning he’d indirectly support you. So like a behind the scenes type of guy who wouldn’t want any credit for it.

Is the type to leave small little notes of encouragement around the building for you. 

If you also compose your groups songs, he might actually verbally support you and give you tips. 

He’d be the silent guy that supports you from afar. 

Namjoon:

Would be fascinated about your age and would be the type to ask you a million questions about what it’s like to be such a young trainee. 

Is also the type to show small moments of support.

Would be the most excited to meet you tbh.

He’d be a 50/50 shot when it comes to him talking to you first. 

On some occasions he’d approach you first and strike up a conversation about your training and other times you’d have to talk to him first. 

After he gets used to you, he’d probably text you 24/7 about how practice or tour is going for them.
