Sialkot

Sialkot (Urdu and Punjabi: سيالكوٹ) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. Sialkot is Pakistan’s 13th largest city by population and is located in north-east Punjab—one of Pakistan’s most industrialized regions. Along with the nearby cities of Gujranwala and Gujrat, Sialkot forms part of the so-called Golden Triangle of industrial cities with export-oriented economies.

Sialkot is wealthy relative to other cities in South Asia, with an estimated 2014 per capita income of $2800 (nominal). The city has been noted by The Economist for its entrepreneurial spirit, and productive business climate that has made Sialkot an example of a small Pakistani city that has emerged as a “world-class manufacturing hub.” The relatively small city exported approximately $2 billion worth of goods in 2015 or about 10% of Pakistan’s total exports. Sialkot is also home to the Sialkot International Airport—Pakistan’s first privately owned public airport.

History

Sialkot is believed to be the site of ancient Sagala, a city razed by Alexander the Great in 326 BCE, and then made the capital of the Indo-Greek kingdom by Menander I in the 2nd century BCE—a time during which the city greatly prospered as a major center for trade and Buddhist thought. Sialkot continued to be a major political center until it was eclipsed by Lahore around the turn of the first millennium. The city rose again in prominence during the British era, and is now one of Pakistan’s most important industrial centers.

The recorded history of Sialkot, a district of modern-day Pakistan, covers thousands of years. It has since its creation changed hands from Aryan, Persian, Hindu, g Greek, Buddhist, Muslim, Sikh, and British rule to the present-day federation of Pakistan.

There are various sources tracing the origins of the city of Sialkot but the authenticity of many of these sources varies. The less-reliable historical sources about the origins of the city have been derived from oral traditions. More reliable and validated historical references relating to the city date back to 327 BC in which it has been stated that the city is of Greek origin. Excavations throughout the area have revealed large amounts of Greek coins, ancient Zoroastrian temples, and several Buddhist stupas. The antiquities of Sialkot have also been discussed by Sir Alexander Cunningham in his Archaeological Survey Reports, II, 21, 22, and XIV, 44 to 47.

Climate

Sialkot features a humid subtropical climate (Cwa) under the Köppen climate classification, with four seasons. The post-monsoon season from mid-September to mid-November remains hot during the daytime, but nights are cooler with low humidity. In the winter from mid-November to March, days are mild to warm, with occasionally heavy rainfalls occurring. Temperatures in winter may drop to 0 °C or 32 °F, but maxima are very rarely less than 15 °C or 59 °F.

Cityscape

Sialkot’s core is composed of the densely populated Old City, while northeast of the city lies the vast colonial-era Sialkot Cantonment – characterized by wide streets and large lawns. The city’s industries have developed in a “ribbon-like” pattern along with the cities main arteries, and are almost entirely dedicated to export. The city’s sporting good firms are not concentrated in any part of the city but are instead spread throughout Sialkot. Despite the city’s overall prosperity, the local government has failed to meet Sialkot’s basic infrastructure needs.

Economy

Sialkot is a wealthy city relative to the rest of Pakistan and South Asia, with a per capita income in 2014 estimated at $2800. The city was considered to be one of British India’s most industrialized cities, though its economy would later be largely decimated by violence and capital flight following the Partition. The city’s economy rebounded, and Sialkot now forms part of the relatively industrialized region of northern Punjab that is sometimes referred to as the Golden Triangle.

Sialkot has been noted by Britain’s The Economist magazine as a “world-class manufacturing hub” with strong export industries. As of 2015, Sialkot exported US$2 billion worth of goods which is equal to 9% of Pakistan’s total exports (US$22 billion). 250,000 residents are employed in Sialkot’s industries, with most enterprises in the city being small and funded by family savings. Sialkot’s Chamber of Commerce had over 6,500 members in 2010, with most activity in the leather, sporting goods, and surgical instruments industry. The Sialkot Dry Port offers local producers quick access to Pakistani Customs, as well as to logistics and transportation.

Despite being cut off from its historic economic heartland in Kashmir, Sialkot has managed to position itself into one of Pakistan’s most prosperous cities, exporting up to 10% of all Pakistani exports. Its sporting goods firms have been particularly successful, and have produced items for global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok, and Puma. Balls for the 2014 FIFA World Cup were made in Sialkot.

Sialkot’s business community has joined with the local government to maintain the city’s infrastructure, as the local government has limited capacity to fund such maintenance. The business community was instrumental in the establishment of Sialkot’s Dry Port in 1985, and further helped re-pave the city’s roads. Sialkot’s business community also largely funded the Sialkot International Airport—opened in 2011 as Pakistan’s first privately owned public airport, which now offers direct flights from Sialkot to Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Industry

Sialkot is the world’s largest producer of hand-sewn footballs, with local factories manufacturing 40~60 million footballs a year, amounting to roughly 60% of world production. The 2014 FIFA World Cup’s footballs were made by Forward Sports, a company based in Sialkot. The clustering of sports goods industrial units has allowed for firms in Sialkot to become highly specialized and to benefit from joint action and external economies. There is a well-applied child labor ban, the Atlanta Agreement, in the industry since a 1997 outcry, and the local industry now funds the Independent Monitoring Association for Child Labour to regulate factories.

Sialkot is also the world’s largest center of surgical instrument manufacturing. Sialkot was first noted to be a center of metalwork in the 1890s, and the city’s association with surgical instruments came from the need to repair, and subsequently manufacture, surgical instruments for the nearby Mission hospital. By the 1920s, surgical instruments were being manufactured for use throughout British India, with demand boosted by further by World War Two.

The city’s surgical instrument manufacturing industry benefits from a clustering effect, in which larger manufacturers remain in close contact with smaller and specialized industries that can efficiently perform contracted work. The industry is made up of a few hundred small and medium-sized enterprises, supported by thousands of subcontractors, suppliers, and those providing other ancillary services. The bulk of exports are destined for the United States and European Union.

Sialkot first became a center for sporting goods manufacturing during the colonial era. Enterprises were initially established for the recreation of British troops stationed along the Northwest Frontier. Nearby timber reserves served to initially attract the industry to Sialkot. The city’s Muslim craftsmen generally manufactured the goods, while Sikh and Hindu merchants of the Sindhi Bania, Arora, and Punjabi Khatri castes acted like middlemen to bring goods to the market. Sialkot now produces a wide array of sporting goods, including football and hockey sticks.

Sialkot is also noted for its leather goods. Leather for footballs is sourced from nearby farms, while Sialkot’s leather workers craft some of Germany’s most prized leather lederhosen trousers.

Transportation

Motorways

A dual-carriageway connects Sialkot to the nearby City of Wazirabad, with onwards connections throughout Pakistan via the N-5 National Highway, while another dual carriageway connects Sialkot to Daska, and onwards to Gujranwala and Lahore. Sialkot and Lahore are also connected through the motorway (M11), which is the north-south motorway in Punjab. The total length of this motorway is 103 km. It was completely opened on 18 March 2020 at the cost of 44 billion rupees. It has reduced the travel time between Sialkot and Lahore to 50 minutes from two hours (through the other route via N5/GT).

Rail

Sialkot Junction railway station is the city’s main railway station and is serviced by the Wazirabad–Narowal Branch Line of the Pakistan Railways.

Air

Sialkot International Airport is located 8.7 east of the city in the town of Sambrial. It was established in 2007 by spending 4 billion rupees by the Sialkot business community. It is Pakistan’s only privately owned public airport and offers flights throughout Pakistan with also direct flights to Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, France, UK, and Spain.

Sialkot International Airport has launched their own airline named AirSial. It was founded in October 2017 by Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Chapter 3 - Jobseeker’s Diary

Jadi disini, aku mau kasih gambaran pengalaman tesku buat para jobseeker, because as you know di Indonesia, bisa dibilang yang namanya hubungan antara pemberi kerja dan yang butuh kerja, bargaining powernya lebih tinggi pemberi kerja. Ya, karena di Indonesia sendiri lulusan sarjana lebih banyak dari lowongan kerja itu sendiri. Dan, lulusan S1 Sarjana Teknik Mesin FEMALE, cuman berberapa perusahaan yang membuka kualifikasi yang menerima perempuan untuk kerja di dunia Teknik Mesin. Make more of an effort. Di tahun 2018, saat angkatan 2014 lulus, recruitment perusahaan lebih sedikit daripada tahun tahun sebelumnya untuk Jurusan Teknik Mesin khususnya. Disyukuri saja. Hehe. Ini pengalaman tes ku di berberapa perusahaan, semoga bisa memberikan pencerahan, untuk recruitment setelahnya..

1.��TOYOTA ASTRA MOTOR (TAM) -SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Bulan September 2018 ada jobfair di UGM. ECC FT UGM namanya, bisa temen² cari. Pas aku liat ada recruitment TAM dan TMMIN (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia). Karena itu masuk target keinginan wkwk Daftarlah jadi member ECC FT UGM 100rb. Ini member nya berlaku selamanya. Apply dan isi data online buat daftar online. Tinggal milih perusahaan yang diinginkan lalu klik "LAMAR". Tapi karena pengen tau Jobfairnya secara langsung. Akhirnya dateng ke GSP UGM. Fyi, semuanya sekarang sistem online. Udah jarang banget yang harus bawa berkas dan naruh berkas di stan perusahaan. Tibalah di GSP. Muter² dan ramai seperti jobfair pada umumnya. Yg paling banyak antri HK karena ngisi form di stannya dan Toyota Nasmoco (Dealer Toyota di Jateng) karena abis ngisi form langsung ada walk interview. Udah macam ular antrinya. Dan TAM dan TMMIN ternyata isi google form (online).

Di google form toyota, disuruh milih mau daftar TAM atau TMMIN. Akhirnya aku pilih TMMIN karena experience background aku, emang di manufaktur. Berberapa hari kemudian, ada panggilan tes TAM ternyata, bukan TMMIN. Lhah gimana sih (?) ternyata TMMIN saat itu cuma buka internship bukan recruitment. Akhirnya semua temen² juga yang daftar TMMIN dialihkan ke TAM. Waktu aku tes di jogja untuk Toyota, nah dari M14 UB ada 8 orang. Kalian akan merasakan seneng banget ketemu temen sealmamater di kota orang. Hahaha. Tahapannya..

Tes I = Psikotes di UKDW Jogja (CFIT+Wartegg+Papikostick+BAUM+DAP+PAULI)

Tes II = Interview Psikolog di Wisma UGM

Tes III = Interview HR di Kantor ECC UGM

Datang dan mengisi Formulir Lamaran Kerja, dan menulis tentang cita-cita dikertas HVS menggunakan huruf latin. Sisa 10 orang dari Mesin UB, UGM, UNY, ITS sm manajemen UGM, UII. Ngobrol sama anak mesin UGM, kebetulan anak yang ngurus KRTI UGM jadi alhamdhulillaah ngobrolnya nyambung karena sama2 anak ristek. Karena aku sendirian dari mesin ub, akhirnya minta kontak tuh. Gak usah malu unt uk memulai pembicaraan atau minta kontak pas tes hehe berguna banget ! Karena kata HRD nya pengumumannya 2 minggu lagi untuk interview user akhirnyaa tinggal menunggu karena setelah itu,

Waktu itu, interviewer pas HRD namanya mas Lucky. Interview TAM ada yang menarik nih, di terakhir interview aku dibilangin bahwa Tiara lebih cocok di TMMIN daripada di TAM. Karena pengalamannya sangat banyak banget di bidang manufaktur. Soalnya TAM lebih fokus ke business marketing management dari TMMIN. Wkwk kenapa di kualifikasi ada Mechanical Engineering :) dan aku dilolosin. Tapi mungkin perusahaan emang cari calon karyawan yang jurusan Teknik Mesin tp punya pengalaman dan background business marketing management. Hopeless tapi masih usaha meyakinkan mas lucky bahwa pasti bisa pas interview. 2 minggu setelahnya tidak ada kabar, kontak temen temen yang teknik mesin universitas lain juga ga ada kabar. Tp masih menunggu, sebulan kemudian akhirnya mikir sepertinya GA LOLOS deh. Padahal aku tungguin sampe aku wisuda loh mas lucky, telfon mu mas. Needless to say I never heard back from this company. Haha belum rejeki. Oke. Ga boleh menyerah. Lanjut lainnya.

2. ASTRA DAIHATSU MOTOR (ADM)-PRODUCTION ENGINEERING

Daftar ngisi google form (kedua kali) karena yang pertama aku reschedule tes di Semarang dan ga dipanggil lagi, akhirnya daftar ulang bulan Oktober. Dan semua tesnya di Sunter, di Head Office nya ADM. Ada undangan psikotes akhirnya, hehe menempuh perjalanan dari bekasi ke sunter. Aku merasa tes yang paling aku perjuangkan tuh Daihatsu sampai TKP (bolak balik Bekasi-Sunter hujan macet panas kuterjang. Huhu. Ketemu temen dari mesin UB dong 4 orang yeay. Merasa senasib sepenanggungan wkwk nganggur dan masih jadi jobseeker di bulan Oktober.

Jadi, tahapnya..

Tahap I = Psikotes (CFIT+Wartegg+Papikostick+BAUM+DAP+KRAEPLIN)

Tahap II = FGD (Pengaruh Penggunan Gadget pada Kinerja Karyawan, diberi 10 opsi pilihan solusi, dan mengurutkan prioritas)

Tahap IV = Interview HRD

Nah, karena mengevaluasi kesalahan TAM sebelumnya wkwk aku yakin akan lolos karena ADM ini adalah pabrik manufakturnya, jadi bukan manajemen marketing penjualan bisnisnya, kalo daihatsu penjualannya dipegang Astra International-Daihatsu Sales Operation sama halnya Honda, Honda penjualannya dipegang Astra International-Honda. Jadi ADM cocok banget sama experience background dan kesukaanku. :) Interview Lancar. Menunggu pengumuman 2 minggu lagi. Aku benci menunggu selama itu wkwk Saat itu sewaktu interview HR, aku ketemu Mesin UNS, Mesin UNDIP, Informatika UB, sama Metalurgi ITS, Psikologi UI total ada 5 orang. Sendirian lagi dari mesin UB. Seperti sebelumnya, lolos sendirian jangan tambah diem, tapi inisiatif memulai pembicaraan dan minta kontak. Banyak cerita banyak temen, sharing, biar groginya ilang wkwk dapet informasi kedepannya lagi. Waktu menunggu giliran, ketemu D3 teknik elektro, ternyata dia nunggu interview user. Kesempatan buat nanya² dong. Jadi kalo di daihatsu kita milih 3 pilihan posisi. Kalo lolos dipanggil user/atasan yang butuh kita. Informasi yang ku dapatkan. Jadi, kemarin dia dipanggil user 1 kalo ga lolos dialihkan ke user 2 kalo ga lolos lagi ke user 3. Kata dia gitu. Dapat uang saku perjalanan dari user sesuai tiket hehe. Dalam hati, pada baik banget user daihatsu.

Usut punya usut berberapa bulan kemudian aku mendengar ada informasi bahwa Astra Otomotif cuman sedikit user yang butuh S1 Teknik Mesin. Pada nyaman kerja di astra pada gamau resign wkwk. Dan ADM cuman butuhnya Technical Service dan IT. Hahaha.

Ada 2 kemungkinan,

1. Gagal karena emang kita ga cocok sama perusahaan dan perusahaan ga butuh posisi yang kita daftar.

2. Kita masih dikeep perusahaan dan akan dipanggil buat ngereplace yang pensiun atau resign.

3. TRIPUTRA GROUP – MANUFAKTUR (MANAGEMENT TRAINEE – OPERATION) (PT BINA BUSANA INTERNUSA)

Ini perusahaan Manufaktur Triputra group namanya PT Bina Busana Internusa yaitu garment adidas (sportwear) dan brand luar negeri yang ekspor 26 negara. Jaman sekarang, fresh graduate pengennya bisa punya karir bagus, tapi belum punya pengalaman. Jadi perusahaan membuka jalur fast track buat orang –orang terpilih untuk jenjang karir yang lebih cepat untuk dipersiapkan menjadi pimpinan di perusahaan kalau track record nya sangat bagus.

Urgently required langsung bisa walk in interview di perusahaannya. Ini perusahaan yang ga sengaja aku daftar. Gara² aku termakan omongan sahabatku pas itu disuruh nemenin di semarang wkwk akhirnya aku daftarin berberapa perusahaan yang prospek bagus dan ga memandang gender lulusan mesin, karena emang lelah dan perasaan sudah berkata "pekerjaan apapun dimanapun gapapa yang penting berkah dan dapet ridho Allah". Hehe Yasudah aku tes

Tahap 1 = Interview HRD

Tahap 2 = Psikotes (Pauli, wartegg, BAUM, DAP, papikostick)

Tahap 3 = Interview HR Corporate (sekelas CEO kalo di perusahaan ini)

Pak Bezi Bez cek di linkedin, amaze bgt sama beliau karena selama aku interview 1 jam (interview yang terbaik dah hehe) banyak pelajaran yang aku dapet dari namanya berjuang, budaya bekerja, pengalaman real lapangan, cara berpikir dan bagaimana menjadi manusia yang bermanfaat. Yg dari awal aku grogi sampe jadi santai banget kek temen diskusi. Dulu beliau resign dari Astra dan akhirnya bareng temen²nya bangun perusahaan dari Nol sampe udah wow sekali.

Ditanyain sih "Kalo diwaktu yang bersamaan kamu diterima Astra dan BBI ini kamu pilih yang mana dari hati kecilmu saja" trus aku jawab "Astra pak". Jawab jujur aja pokoknya disetiap interview, jangan dibuat² wkwk. Karena pendapat bukan salah dan benar, tapi sesuai dan ga sesuai. Dan, yang paling penting, bapaknya bilang kalo kamu gagal disuatu perusahaan tidak ada yang harus disesali atau dievaluasi sebenernya. (pas interview aku curhat karena digantungin toyota dan daihatsu hehe). Karena kegagalan itu sebenernya baik banget buat diri sendiri. Bukan berarti gagal karena kesalahan kita dan harus mengevaluasi dan merubah diri kita menjadi orang lain, tetapi memang ada kemungkinan passion kita tidak pada perusahaan tersebut. Beliau, berberapa tahun kerja di astra dengan segala plus minus ternyata berberapa tahun setelahnya beliau merasa ga cocok di perusahaan tersebut untuk bisa mengembangkan passionnya. Dan akhirnya sekarang bisa lebih hebat lagi.

Bekerja bukan tentang nominal, tetapi tentang kenyamanan dan bisa mengembangkan passion yang dimiliki. Pilihan ada di pribadi masing² dengan rasionalisasi yang ada. Tetapi temen²ku yang lain beda, cuman sekedar ditanyain kepribadian, skripsi, magang, pengalaman gt. Sepertinya karena emang pengalaman kemarin aku daftar TAM, ADM, Astra International-Honda, Astra Infra. Mungkin bapaknya ada kegigihan dari Tiara untuk ke astra wkwk. Anyway, terimakasih pak Bezi. Tahap 4 = Interview User

Interview seperti biasa dan diajak muter² pabrik, dan dikasih tau real pekerjaan yang dilakukan Management Trainee itu apa aja. Ngobrol sama MT angkatan 13, alumni Metalurgi ITS. Dikasih tau info sejelas jelasnya pokoknya tentang bagaimana jobdesk dan kinerja pabrik.

Tahap 5 = Offering

Terhitung januari-maret magang dan selanjutnya menjalani program MT start april.

Alhamdhulillaah, ketrima tinggal tanda tangan offering letter. Aku hold dulu offering letternya karena ada banyak pertimbangan dari sebuah pilihan, terutama keluarga. Karena ridho orangtua dan kenyamanan pribadi sangatlah penting. Akhirnya..

4. ASTRA INFRA (MANAGEMENT TRAINEE)

Astra Infra is wholly owned by Astra International yang mengurus proyek tol dan non tol milik Astra. Aku apply ke bit.ly dari info recruitment. Akhirnya dipanggil tes diawal desember, di Teknik Mesin ITS. Untung kenal banyak anak mesin ITS kan. Salah satunya sahabatku dari SMP juga yang nemenin selama nungguin tes di ITS. Karena aku hobby dateng 1-2 jam sebelum tes wkwk gapapa nungguin yang penting tenang ga keburu² padahal aslinya gara2 tiket kereta nyampenya awal bgt wkwk jadi harus menunggu. Balada penantian jam tes di masjid/mcd. Ya jobseeker mah harus kuat. Kuat ngapain aja. Nah rangkaiannya tuh..

Tahap 1 = Psikotes 1

Dan ternyata sewaktu psikotes, ternyata banyak temen teknik nya dari UB ITS PPNS. Mesin UB ada 5 orang. Seneng banget kalo ramai ada temennya, temen cerita pengalaman dan perjuangan hehe apalagi dapet yg sealmamater tambah nyambung. Psikotes Astra pada umumnya tanpa psikologi. (CFIT)

Tahap 2 = Psikotes 2

Psikotes psikologi (Papikostick, Wartegg, BAUM, dan DAP)

Tahap 3 = FGD

Bahas penyelamatan bunker bawah tanah, jadi harus memilih orang yang diselamatkan dari berbagai pilihan. Nanti ada pilihan dan keterangan. Umur, pekerjaan dan sifat orang.

Tahap 4 = Interview Psikolog

Tahap 5 = Interview HRD

Nah, karena dalam penantian semua backgroundnya anak teknik. Satu kloter bisa nyambung banget bercanda dan ngobrolnya. Tapi hasil interview psikolog bikin penasaran. Karena cuman ada berberapa orang yang langsung interview HRD. Jadi ada juga yang abis interview psikolog tuh nungguin tapi belom dipanggil². Ternyata selang berberapa menit, setelah aku interview psikolog langsung disuruh ke HR. Kaget. Kenapa dipanggil langsung dah. Yaudah masuk ruangan. Interview bahasa inggris (perkenalan, experience background, kelebihan, kekurangan, goals in life, big reason knapa daftar astra) dan selebihnya ada yang bahasa indonesia. Pengumuman katanya 2 minggu lagi untuk seluruh peserta recruitment. Entah yang udah interview HR atau belom.

Tahap 6 = Assignment 1

Setelah 2 hari dari Interview HRD, dapet email lolos dan bikin business oppurtunity untuk Astra di bidang Infrastructure. Dan ternyata dari sekomplotan, yang baru diemail cuman aku. Mungkin temen² yang lain disetelahnya pikirku. Akhirnya belajar bisnis pada yang jago bisnis hehehe. Bikin ppt dah tuh disuruh kirim dan ada submission deadline nya. Berusaha dulu bikin presentasi sebaik²nya. Oke, disuruh tunggu kabar selanjutnya.

Tahap 7 = Interview BOD

Setelah berberapa hari ternyata dapat telfon lolos untuk interview BOD alias presentasi didepan BOD tentang ppt yang disetujui. Gupuh seketika. Belajar hal baru, baca banyak buku, practice masalah speaking, body language dll. Oke, ini tahap terbesar dan terjauhku dan di salah satu perusahaan yang aku inginkan. Banyak berdoa dan menyemangati diri sendiri. Datang ke Menara Astra di Sudirman, Jakarta Pusat ketemu anak manajemen UI, dan geomatika ITS. Dan ternyata cuman bertiga. Udah lawannya anak manajemen buat seleksi management trainee hahaha. Udah langsung down. Manusiawi hahaha. Yaudah, kalo udah usaha maksimal, kuasa Allah yang bekerja. BOD nya adalah Pak Billy P Kadar. Bapaknya alumni FTMD ITB, hehe. Setelah presentasi, diberi pertanyaan² yang bikin aku cengo sekali. Huhu serasa kompre lagi.

Merasa gagal jadi sarjana teknik mesin hahaha kalo bahas teknisan perusahaan. Tapi akhirnya diberi pemahaman dan aku dapat ilmu banyak sekali !! Itu sih yang paling penting, dan terakhir² ditanyain background dan hal hal yang ada di cv. Sama² teknik mesin mungkin bapaknya paham dan mengerti diriku. Alhamdhulillaah. Tapi sedih karena memang ngerasa kurang maksimal, gara² ada berberapa pertanyaan yang gabisa terjawab. Lagi lagi bibir ga berhenti baca ayat kursi buat nenangin hati. Mikirnya, kalo ga lolos yaudah Tiara akan kerja di Semarang. Ini perusahaan yang jadi inginku, Ya Allah. Akhirnya pulang ke bekasi dengan segala ketidaktenangan gara² terngingang pertanyaan yang gabisa kujawab.

Tahap 8 = Offering

Semingguan menunggu, ada telfon dari Astra Infra. Wih, udah seneng banget ketrima Management Trainee di Menara Astra. Dan ternyata, isi telfonnya menyatakan bahwa Pak Billy BOD melihat potensi besarnya Tiara dan Tiara dialilhkan ke EastKal. Alias Pelabuhannya Astra, Pak Billy adalah Presdirnya disitu. Namanya Astra Infra Port di Balikpapan. Bukan diterima sebagai management trainee, tapi sebagai innovation analyst dengan 3 bulan OJT dan langsung pegawai tetap. Hahaha, seneng banget tapi ada sedihnya karena sebenernya gabolehin orangtua kerja diluar jawa. Akhirnya aku hold menunggu pertimbangan keluarga. Dan dari pihak Astra membolehkan untuk berpikir terlebih dahulu. Berberapa hari kemudian, musyawarah keluarga dengan detail gaji dan fasilitas yang didapat dan akhirnya keluarga say "yes" dengan banyak nasehat yang diarahkan kepadaku. Jadi pelatihan dulu 1 bulan di Menara Astra dan setelah itu ditempatkan di Balikpapan. Alhamdhulillaah nya, aku dari kecil dididik mandiri dan manja kondisional jadi bisa survive dibanyak keadaan dimanapun kapanpun sesibuk apapun. Yang tau aku bertahun², pasti sudah tau kalo Tiara itu sesetrong strongnya cewe. Hahahaha

Tahap 9 = MCU

2 hari setelahnya Tiara dinyatakan sehat, Alhamdhulillaah. Jadinya disuruh bilang tanggal berangkat siapnya. Dan siap mengabdi untuk negeri. Siap untuk mewujudkan mimpi dan cita² setelahnya dong. Things were moving, and I felt pretty happy with myself.
