Good lord

Today my anxiety levels became like this 📈📈📈 when my guitar teacher asked me to sing. While me, having never listened to any tamil song enough to know complete & proper lyrics: 😰😰😰

The thing is that, I have crippling stage fright when I have to sing. Like really horrible. I haven’t sung to my parents since like… 2020. And they NEVER let me forget that. Especially since I’ve won two awards at school for it in the span of two years.

I do feel bad about it, but this fear seems to be the worst with my parents and friends. With others/strangers, it’s not THAT bad (but it isn’t great either)

The biggest crime here probably is the fact that I’m not a bad singer. My voice is like… okay ig??? Sorry, I’m super insecure about my voice. Gaaahhh when will I overcome this?

Well, the spiciest vocals come from Changmin, who is a level 2 spicey boy at MOST. I mean, the 240105 Music Bank high note for "Down"? I don't know how half the boy groups didn't immediately vaporize as soon as he did That. I know it was probably just that he didn't hit the note at first, but he made it sound so good with that dissonance resolving into whistle register? (I would say something about Nissan Stadium Forever Love but until that's back up on YouTube I refuse to contemplate it so I don't burst into tears) But I'm a hater and don't like him so don't put him on the list.

EXID's Solji might not be active right meow, but she just did that musical so she counts!

Of course BTOB, Eunkwang and Minhyuk especially, I mean, "Boom" era was everything to me.

I might be ride or die for Seonghwa Main Vocal When, but back in like February 2021 I said San from Ateez strained a lot and he said "why would you say such a thing? btw hi lesbians" and just immediately went fuckin insane. I'm bummed it happened after they stopped actively promoting it but I will never shut up about how when he gets a mic for "Turbulence" he saves the whole song with that modulation to keep it from being a diminished fifth. I know he's a great dancer but he's vocal line for a reason. Watch "Breathe" btw.

IU!!!!! GIRL!!!!!!! No list of spiciest vocals would be complete without IU. "Love Poem" should be a UNESCO World Heritage piece of culture. I love her and I can't believe you're keeping her hostage and away from us, Addy.

Fun fact: DK is actually short for "DyKe rights" (editor's note: this is not true) and my sister will let me blast "Hot" in her car specifically so we can vocalize along with his chest voice there. He's got such a good ear.

The Boyz genuinely has some power vocals. Why do you think his name is SANGyeon? That video of him singing in a parking lot plays behind my eyes while I try to fall asleep.

Shownu simply does not get the credit he deserves as a vocalist. His voice is more subtle, so maybe not particularly spicey, but he's my husband and I will not let him go unappreciated on this list. What's the opposite of spicey? That's how I feel about I.M, except he's actually got interesting vocals, he's technically weaker but I think that makes him more interesting vocally. Plus he's the King of Vocal Fry (complimentary).

Another vocal fry master -- Taehyun from TXT. I feel so much about that kid. Most of it good.

For the hags, all of 2pm! (I'm not taking antipsychotics right now so I'm allowed to be delusional and they're active in my heart.) "Make It" was THE song of 2021, no notes at all. And "ADTOY" had no right to be that good. Also we love grown men being grown up spicey.

Woodz, don't talk to me about enlistment if I don't acknowledge it then it isn't happening. The live versions of "Chaser" and "Trigger" and "Accident" and and and and? I think his harmonizing gets overshadowed sometimes by his vocal power, especially since he has to harmonize with his backing track rather than another singer, but bro... bro... Also he was the closest to a Changmin "Mirotic" note, I will ignore any arguments to the contrary.

Red Velvet's Seulgi has really good vocals when she's given the chance to flex them, I really wish we could hear more from her. Underappreciated, tbh.

Highlight's Dongwoon, do we need to talk about that performance of "Fiction" again? Because I will talk about that performance of "Fiction" again. And I choose to believe his scene in "Good Luck" is part of the most watched section because of that little C# Major moment. Yeah his only other band mate Yeoseob is good but I gotta give the crown to Dongwoon. Also his outfits from last May's concerts were so spicey.

I'm so excited for Chungha's comeback. I know she's not really appreciated for her vocals since she's definitely a pop vocalist, but "Play"! I'm not even mad when she uses playback on music shows, she's in chest voice enough.

I can't believe I'm about to put a manlet on this list but Hui's got the spice. He's got the vocals. He deserves. That's all.

And how about Doyeon from Weki Meki. Siyeon from Dreamcatcher (omg that "Overdose" cover). Ailee, obviously. BB Girls Yujeong. Sistar just as a whole but especially Hyolyn, "Layin Low" changed me as a person and I swear it wasn't just the Nicole Kirkland choreo.

Has anyone moved their collection (dolls, furniture, clothing, all of it) recently (or ever)? I’m moving in the not-so-distant future, and it’ll be my first time moving since I’ve really started collecting - the last time I moved, my childhood AG/doll stuff was still boxed up at my parents’ house and I only moved one doll (Diana) and her little suitcase of clothes and accessories. I have exponentially more stuff now 😅 I still have plenty of time to plan it all out, but I can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t even have that large of a collection compared to some people, but the thought of trying to pack and move it all is so overwhelming!

Slade Wilson

assuming you're asking about regular slade wilson and not anime prince slade wilson from MAWS (aka the best thing to have happened to dc animation since kevin conroy agreed to voice batman) as those two are VASTLY different people and it remains stupendous that they really did all that with deathstroke the terminator

How I feel about this character: So, I know my absolute unabashed delight with MAWS Slade and my constant posts about how I want him in every episode might make it seem that I have a lot of thoughts about Slade Wilson in general, but I really don't, it's just that the way they adapted this specific character and how they did it was so off the rails that I fell in love with it. Comics Slade I don't have much to think on, I think he's a decent character even if he's not a very good person, and I think too many people forget that preboot Slade was basically a pedophile because he was fucking 15 year old Tara Markov, but there's enough going on there with his interpersonal relationships, especially when it comes to his family specifically, that's interesting for me to not find him boring and enjoy what can be done with him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: I've read some Jayde fics that have made me go "can see it", but other than that, probably the main ship I have for Slade Wilson is Adeline. Love a good complex married couple, and from what I remember of the preboot characterization, it's not even as if he stopped caring when she straight up shot him in the head. I like that there's some residual care between them even after the marriage ended, and that for whatever else they're always going to share a bond through their children, and especially in the way that at least one of those children is dead.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: The kids, maybe? He's a shit dad and they hate him but at least it's narratively interesting and can provide for good character moments.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I'm not sure I really have any if I'm honest, since I'm not overtly all that passionate about mainline comics Slade. Maybe it's just that I don't really ship him and Dick, I get the appeal and the nemesis stuff and everything I do, it's just never spoken to me.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I don't know if I've got any hardcore desires to have it ever happen in canon, but I do have a personal headcanon that Slade was involved for a bit in Jason's "train around the world to be the Red Hood" scheme, because I like that idea, and in my interpretation it was motivated in no small part by the fact that, just like Bruce, Slade is himself the father of a murdered child he watched die, and was operating in a sort of "well if Grant somehow came back I really would hope that someone would be there for him and help him out", because I think a lot of people forget that a parent outliving their kid, especially if that kid died violently, is a really heavy thing and is going to weigh on a lot of actions taken for quite possibly the rest of their lives.

Seeley, Cam, Temperance, and Angela looked down from the balcony on the second floor of the lab. They leaned against the railing confused as they watched Zack laughing with y/n while they ate the lunch y/n brought.

“gotta be a sibling” Booth said, rubbing his hands together. In his eyes Zack was just a child genius that didn't have time to date.

“all of Dr. Addy's siblings are in New Jersey, but that could be a possibility,” Brennan said, looking at Booth then back down at Zack. Something about seeing Zack laughing like that with this beautiful person made her heart swell with happiness.

“Maybe it's just a friend,” Cam shrugged.

“No. I've never seen him laugh like that, he's definitely in love with whoever that is” Angela smiled. She felt so happy seeing him laugh. She could tell all that mattered to him tight now was y/n.

“So, how's work?” I asked, nibbling on the last of my fries.

Zack nodded, munching on his onion rings. “well we found some very interesting set of particulates, something neither me nor Hodgins have seen on a victim before, and the humerus…” he stopped mid sentence.

Even though I never really understood all the science mumbo-jumbo I still like hearing him talk about it. There's something about seeing him get all excited and talk about something he's passionate about.

“no, no, keep going. I love it when you talk Science-y” I said resting my chin on my fist.

“'Science-y' isn't a word… And it's fine” Zack said, putting the rapper his burger came in and his napkin in the brown paper bag. “on another note, how's everything in the animal kingdom?”

I worked at the local animal shelter in town, it was an amazing job and I got work and take care of all kinds of dogs and cats. “well… Now that you mention it…” I started and gave him an innocent look. Zack tilted his head and gave me a warning look. “no! I know that look” he said, pointing his finger at me.

“Aw, but he was so cute”

“we already have two dogs... And a cat, that cat still dislikes me” he mumbled the last part.

“It's a small dog though,” I said, giving him a pouty lip. “it's a weiner dog mix, he'll stay tiny” we already had a black lab and a golden retriever, then on top of that I brought home a white cat home three months ago.

Zack playfully rolled his eyes. He always said he admired my love for all animals and loved how compassionate I was for all of them. Not so much when I keep bringing my ‘work’ home with me as he says.

“just imagine a cute little sausage dog curled up in your lap, helping you read Science stuff for work”

Zack sighed playfully.

“I'll let you name him” I smiled and gave him the puppy eyes he can't refuse. He sighed again. “don't give me the look”

“Please”

Zack groaned in a very monaton way. “... Fine”

I immediately wrapped my arms around him and kissed his forehead. “thank you babe”

Everyone gave Hodgins a confused look as Hodgins yelled down at the couple “Hi y/n!”

Y/n left Zack's arms and happily waved at Zack's best friend. “hey, Hodgins”

“soo… Who's y/n?” Angela asked Hodgins.

“Zack's partner” Hodgins smiled like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“your telling me Zack… Our little child prodigy is y/n's boyfriend” Booth asked, shocked but at the same time impressed Zack snatched up a beautiful person like y/n.

“trust me I didn't even know y/n existed until Zack tried to seek them in one night when he was still living with me” Hodgins said.

“Well, y/n seems to make him happy,” Cam smiled down at the couple.

“y/n's great… Zack just seems so much happier now”

The team smiled at the couple, Zack and y/n were in there own little world talking about the knew puppy and the case Zack was working on. Hodgins was right, he was so much happier with y/n in his life, he felt more alive and human. He just couldn't help but smile everytime he was in y/n's presents.

a\n - thank you so much to the person who requested, I am so sorry that it has taken me literal eons to get this finished. Thank you for being so patient with me, you're an angel!!

You were the only one in the skills lab and you were going through the latest surgery that you had watched Addison perform. You went over the steps over and over again, performing as if you were the lead surgeon - a method that Addison had recommended. However, you were still managing to mess up. The room was dark, the station you were working at being the only source of light, and so you failed to notice the door open and a certain red-head walk in.

"Loosen your grip." You felt yourself jump at the sudden intrusion of the silence that you had been in for nearly an hour and quickly looked up to see Addison just opposite you. "If you relax, you'll get the angle right." She offered and you nodded your head before repositioning yourself.

Addison circled the table and stood behind you, slightly to your right.

"Here," she began and placed her hand over yours before softly angling it down. "Now try." She was so close you could feel her breath fan over the shell of your ear. "Good, well done," you heard Addison congratulate as you made a successful incision and you let out a deep breath in celebration.

"Thank you so much," you thanked before spinning around to face her. You had to stop yourself from letting out a gasp. When had she gotten so close?

"You're doing well, you probably use this area more than anyone else," she smiled and then her brows furrowed ever so slightly as she tilted her head to look at you.

"What's on your mind?"

"Oh, um, it's nothing," you waved off, but Addison only raised a brow at you. You rested against the side of the table, you didn't really want to tell her, it wasn't really anything to be worried about. So what if the other residents didn't really talk to you because they thought you were getting special treatment? You knew that you weren't.

"What is it?" Addison asked softly.

"Did you know that people think that we're a thing?"

"Really?" Addison questioned with a little shock.

"Addie, are you really that surprised?" You chuckled. "The things you say-"

"Why? What do I say?"

"What do you not say?"

You stood by the reception, clipboard in hand, waiting to check up on your patient.

"How's it going, hot stuff?"

You turn your head to stare at Addison, dumbfounded, and she's looking at you with a smile on her face, amusement shining in her eyes.

A smirk grows on Addison's lips and you feel your face fall, bracing yourself for what was coming next.

"Mel had her baby," she announces and a smile grows on your lips, "it's a girl and she is so cute."

"Oh my god, yay, finally! She was in labour for so long, if I was her, I'd be a total bitch by the end.

"No, yeah, we'd all be, Mel was a total trooper."

You were on a lunch break, and sat next to Addison, listening to Callie talk, as you stabbed your food with a fork and shovelled it into your mouth. You were only very slightly aware of the pair of eyes on you as you ate.

"You look good today." Your fork paused mid-air and you turned to Addison.

"Thank you, I showered," you smirked and pushed your eyebrows up twice with a smirk on your face.

"Charming," Callie interjected.

"No, really, you look good," Addison persisted and leant in a little closer as she searched your face. Unconsciously, you were holding your breath. "Did you do something different?"

"Aha, no I don't- I don't think so," you muttered as you became more bashful by the second.

"Woah," Addison leant back into her original position, "am I interrupting something?" Mark Sloan questioned before he sat down at the table.

"No?" Addison replied and you lightly shook your head in time with her before you pushed the forkful of food into your mouth and promptly moved the moment to the back of your mind.

You let out a wide yawn as you slowly heaved yourself onto one of the beds pushed against a wall of a corridor. Finally, you allowed your posture to relax and the back of your head lightly hit the wall before closing your gently, stinging eyes. God, you were tired.

"Can I join you?" You opened your eyes to see Addison standing before you and, wordlessly, you moved over so that she could sit next to you. You heard her let out a long sigh after getting comfortable. The two of you had had a long night.

You felt Addison reach out for your hand and your fingers laced with hers before she turned to you with empathetic eyes.

"How're you doing?" She whispered.

"Better than I thought I would, I'll probably feel it tonight though," you whispered back softly.

"Y'know, I can still remember the first thing you said to me," Addison smiled after a small pause.

"Oh god," you covered your face, "don't remind me."

That was what you had first said to Addison Montgomery. You had said it with a little bite, and all she did was look at you from her bed beside yours with a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. You've come to notice that she looks at you like that quite often.

"It wasn't even a question," Addison chuckled, "you told me to put you on."

"Stop," you pouted. "In all fairness, I wasn't in my right mind," you defended to which Addison silently agreed to.

You were in the OR Marina Wagner, her toxic blood had wiped the whole room in a matter of a few minutes and you had hit your head on the OR step stool - splitting open the flesh of your forehead. So when you woke up, the hospital-grade painkillers still in your system, to find Addison in a bed next to you, you obviously had to take your chance. Not that you were aware of what you were doing anyway.

"I thought you were cute, telling me off for not putting you on my service." Addison confessed and you shook your head with a smile on your face.

You felt her squeeze your hand and you rubbed your thumb over hers in response. God, were you tired.

"Daddy, when is mummy getting here?", Margot asked Lance as she picked up a book from the shelf, "her flight got delayed a couple of hours, so probably after dinner", Lance informed. You had been on a business trip and because of the bad weather, your flight had to wait a few hours for it to be safe to go up.

"Okay, if you need anything, I'll be in my room", she waved the book at him as she went up the stairs.

Lance was enjoying the snowboarding competition he was watching on the TV when Addalynn stepped into the living room, "Dad, I have a problem", she mumbled.

"I think I've come on my period", she said after dwelling on what to say for the past thirty minutes she sat in the bathroom.

"Why don't you go and have a quick shower? It helps with the cramps and you'll feel better, darling", Lance suggested as they both went up the stairs, "I'm going to get mum's things from our bathroom for when you're ready", he smiled, kissing Addy's forehead before they separated into each of their bedrooms.

Lance immediately got his phone and called Mick since he also had a daughter and, despite not wanting to intrude on her privacy, he wanted to make sure he was doing this the right way, "I'm not a moron, Mick, I know how it all works! I'm just trying not to do anything that will make her ashamed of it because she doesn't have to be!", Lance half hisse into his phone as he gathered pads and tampons from your bathroom cabinet. Lance told Mick his plan and the both of them seemed to agree it was good, so he went along with it.

"I'm done with my shower", Addalynn said as she opened the ensuite door a little, "Good, darling, here are the pads mum uses, maybe you could put the bigger ones to feel safer? If it bleeds out is fine, but this way you can prevent it better", he said as he passed her clean underwear, pyjamas and the little bag with the products.

He sat on her bed as he waited for her to come out of the bathroom, thinking how fast time was going. His little girl was all grown up.

"Do you still feel crampy?", Lance asked once she sat next to him, "it's fine, it's not that noticeable anymore", she said.

"I know people always say it's supposed to hurt, and they make you believe that you have to live and endure that pain, but periods aren't supposed to be painful, not normal ones anyway", he stated, "if you ever feel like it's too much, we can visit the doctor - mum's doctor, Dr. Marlin, she's really good and very nice - and we can go from there. It's not something you have to be ashamed of and it's something you should feel okay with".

"Okay with?", Addalynn chuckled.

"I don't have them, so I could never tell you how you have to feel or that they're the best thing ever - they're not for your mum", he noted as Addalynn nodded, "but, just tell us if you feel anything is off".

"Is there a chance I might have what mum has?", she wondered. Even though she was young, she knew how she was conceived and could understand that whenever you had your period, it would often get painful.

"There might be, but we'll take this slowly, you don't have to worry about it right now. You'll just pay attention and notice if there's something off", he smiled, pulling her to hug him, "How about some cuddles from you old man?".

"You're not old, dad", she smiled, getting up with him and walking closer to Margot' door, "I know you're reading, but do you want to join me and Addalynn in a family cuddle?", Lance asked as they heard a stumble before the door opened, Margot appearing, ready to go to the living room.

"If mum knows about this, she'll have me on a cuddle ban for a while", Lance said as he pulled both daughters into his embrace, "we'll bribe her with more cuddles", Addalynn said, "sounds good to me", Margot concluded, picking up her reading where she left it as Lance picked out something to watch on the TV, Addalynn falling asleep almost immediately.
