meet Tiffey Akashi (she/her)! she’s my new girl, and she’s SOOOO!!

she collects stickers and swindles highbloods out of their money :3 loves pink and cheetah print and is never seen without lipgloss on… but she also has a ton of piercings ans listens to death metal contrasted to her sweet exterior! i think i’ll use this drawing as a base for her talksprites too hehe.

GWAAAHHHH KAZUXIAO IS SO GOOD BECAUSE

like you have xiao, whose issues are decades, centuries, milennia old, and yet he still feels himself troubled by his emotions. he distances himself to cope, but he’s not healing any better, just forming a scab over and over only to pick it off every time he rages and lets loose

and then you have kazuha, whose wounds are fresh and stingy, maybe not even a year old, and yet already he pushes them down and hides them. he distances not from others, but from himself and his own feelings, forcing himself to behave, and also not healing

when they meet, xiao finds someone somehow doing better than him, a strange mortal who seems to be put together so well after such a short time. he knows there’s something deeper to be found, however

kazuha finds someone he envies to some degree. xiao is brave, braver than kazuha thinks he could ever be, and so steadfast despite all the things that have happened over his long lifespan; where kazuha sees himself as weaker due to his grief, he sees xiao as stronger due to his losses

and they meet well, they mesh well, and can understand one another and help to unravel each other.

Update? Ye,,

I’ve been slower than I’d prefer with finishing Vinzen’s sprites—- BUT!! I will update you guys! Also above is a headshot of _pastel.dust_’s fantroll Faekii! They are actually an Amphitian troll!! (Which are trolls belonging to my Ambivabent AU. They have a few key differences that place them apart from Alternian/Beforian trolls. One of which would be skeletal color. A troll’s skeletal color can be determined easily by their teeth! Meaning they usually come in shades of either honey yellow, pumpkin orange, or vermilion— basically the colors of the horns.) I’m not certain how many more headshots I’m gonna do— but I do want to practice more as I plan to have it as an commission option when my comms open up!

Next we got a bit of an edit to Vinzen’s first pose sprite! I forgot his cape—- so I added that shit in real quick. His og cape was just a simple gradient but I decided to draw up a galaxy print because it fit well with his character and background. At first the cape was colored but I felt it distracted from the main palette of Black, Gold, Fuchsia, and White! So I put it in greyscale and I like how it looks now. Hehe- I just like to imagine he just letting kids go underneath his cape and when he closes it the kids just see a bunch of stars around them like—- yeS giant sea dwelling space dad!

Anyways that’s it for now! I’m working on the arm poses for Vinzen’s second pose sprites! He has like- five different arm positions or whatever- but feel free to give me some feedback on either how Vinzen’s sprites look so far or how the headshot of Faekii looks! Also happy 4/13 lmao.
