The explosion of crisp, commercial apple varieties in the last century doomed many other breeds into obscurity. But in a field in Kent in the UK, some of them live on.

A few miles from the sea in Kent in the south of England, hedges of hazel, ivy and briar stand like ramparts separating kingdoms of fruit.

In one field are quinces, dense as golden anvils. Nearby are grey medlars, hard and sour. Pears gleam through red leaves. But the real stars are the apples – more than 4,000 trees, of more than 2,000 varieties. Their fruit clusters along wand-like branches and carpets the ground in a fragrant layer of softly rotting flesh. They smell of a thousand warm afternoons spent snacking in a hammock or up a tree. I kneel under the branches of a particularly laden tree to find the label with the name. It reads, aptly: "Weight."

This is the United Kingdom's National Fruit Collection, a living repository of apples once grown in the British Isles, as well as other fruit. It is not the only apple library out there. If it’s an arrangement simple enough, then why it's getting so difficult to follow through?

Viktor looks toward you, feeling the faint touch of your arms around his neck. You’re dancing too close to his body; not that he minds.

Not that he’s going to tell you so, of course.

Viktor can’t say he fully trusts you—after all, your charms are the reason why he sought you out after the Student Knowledge Contest last year. He can’t help but gaze at your eyes and get lost in them sometimes, perhaps more than he’s willing to admit.

 You’re a brilliant student whose name has appeared in the first places of the grading rank since your enrollment to the Academy. Sometimes atop his, sometimes under.

This reminds him of what you two were doing last Friday night…

“Viktor?” you hum, snatching him out of his fantasies—his memories. “You’ve stopped dancing.”

His grasp on your waist relocates on your hips, feeling the supple skin underneath covered by the soft silk of your green dress, so familiar by now.

“I just saw Robert Yean passing by,” he says. One of your failed suitors, now that he’s here with you. It isn’t possessive behavior, Viktor repeats himself between mumbles against your hair.

“Very insistent man,” you mutter with a smile, sensing Robert’s gaze glued on your back as Viktor and you gently sway side to side with the music flowing around the ballroom.

“Luckily I am one, too,” Viktor says teasingly, his thumb brushing along the apple of your cheek before leaning toward your lips. He understands the nerve of the man wishing to whisk you away, with such a newly established family, a whole future ahead more than the dark, smoky sky in Zaun could ever offer you.

For the deal to work, Viktor had to convince you that trust could run both ways.

Sure, you were competing to be the top of the class, but contrary to the rest of Piltovans side-eying Viktor—silently reminding him of his place under all of them, back to Zaun—you have such soft, caring eyes. Curious, even, once he took a seat next to you at the table in the library.

“I talked with Mr. Xilas about your prototype to clean chemicals from the dam,” you say, taking a glass of wine from a passing waiter, your eyes sweeping over Viktor’s features, to the pearls of sweat sticking to his forehead.

You offer him a sip, rotating the rim of the glass where you left a stain of your red lipstick.

“Thank you, moje sluníĉko.” He takes a sip, locking eyes with you as he places his lips in the mark of your lipstick over the rim’s glass.

Feeling you all flustered, you settle your hand atop his over the cane’s handle. “You should go and talk with him,” you add. “Sweet-talking him a little, hmm?”

Viktor sighs. “Unless it’s you, I don’t think I can do it that well.”

Your giggle makes him smile, loving the way your eyes crinkle in happy crescent moons, a warm feeling of pride extending inside his chest.

"Ow, my tooth hurts!" you say, fingers pressing your left cheek. "From so much cheesiness."

Viktor pokes at your sides, holding you close to feel the curves of your body against his when you try to wiggle out of his tickling grasp. "You little troublemaker, you scared me."

“You’re so silly.”

“You hurt me, my love.” He says, giving you back the glass of wine, brushing your fingers with his in a premeditated movement that makes your stance feel all wobbly. "But perhaps you could help me with the sweet talk, hmm? I don’t think it’ll be a good idea to call the merchant ‘my sunshine’, or ‘my love,’ don’t you think?”

“Hmm. No, unless you’d want me to be jealous?”

Viktor kisses your temple. “Perhaps later tonight. I might need some nibbles.”

Taking him by the hand, you two settle on the windowsill overseeing the balcony, with the breeze of the afternoon making contact with the bare skin of your back. Viktor’s right hand rubs gentle circles in there to soothe your shivering.

“You should’ve brought a sweater,” he muses.

You look at him, eyes pleading and mouth in a pout. “Aren’t you going to give me yours?”

He smirks. “No. I’m cold, too.”

"Such a meanie." Viktor laughs, opening his coat to envelope you within, almost against his chest. "Mmm, better—some nibbles, you say?” You smile, your lips brushing the edge of his collar, putting a red mark of your lipstick over the ivory dress shirt.

“Don’t,” he muses, pretending to be annoyed, yet his heartbeat jumps at smelling the sweet perfume of fruits and lilies. His hands shake slightly the stem of his wine’s cup. “Those stains are difficult to wash.”

“What can I say? You look handsome, Vikky,” you say, playing with the congratulatory badge reading 1st place Engineering Contest: 45 Edition. “I’m lucky for you to be my fake boyfriend.”

“You’re also breathtaking today." Though he doesn't repeat your phrase. He can't still decide if he tells you that.

At first, it’d been a clear enough arrangement—a fake boyfriend to keep you away from the annoying suitors, and for him, a charming socialite who could push his ideas around the wealthy Piltovan minds sponsoring the Academy. But the simplicity had worn out as month passed and Viktor wanted to invite you out to more dates.

To simply sit down outside the library to talk until the sun dipped in the horizon. And it didn’t help you let him get so close Viktor has memorized the features of your face so he could imagine it at night when you’re not in his bed.

Because it wasn’t part of the deal, you’re lovers only when the doors are open and the curtains withdrawn. And yet that faithful rainy day, you two stumbled over the threshold of his apartment soaking wet, the fine-crafted clothes of the academy uniform glued to your curves.

He couldn’t look away, and you didn’t mind it, either, settling your back against the cold entrance door as Viktor’s lips sought out yours, trying to impregnate himself with your taste.

"Perhaps we should return home today?" he says before he's even able to tell what just got out of his mind. Not that he could lie to you, only hide.

"Before Heimerdinger' speech about the Academy Anniversary?"

“I’d rather hear your voice.”

You laugh. “Vikky…”

“Everyone here thinks I’m whispering loving things to your ear,” Viktor says, nuzzling his nose against your neck when he sees one of the suitors sent by your mother watching you from afar. “Might as well sell the part.” So much, he’s starting to believe it.

“You do sell the part really well,” you mutter, liking how his now familiar hand always cradles the small curve in your back.

It's a straightforward deal, really. Even if you come from the Undercity, your parents had built quite a reputation behind them; not only a family rising from the abyss to the riches above by mere luck, no, this was a hard-work endeavor paired with an endless list of qualities you must master if wishing to have the family last name.

If it's so easy, why does Viktor dread the day when the deal will end?

“Alright,” you say, looking at the sky turning orange. “Let’s go to your place, maybe? I like your mattress the best.”

Viktor chuckles. “It’s not like we’re going to have much sleep tonight, I assume.”

You poke his cheek, Viktor’s fingers wrapped along your wrist that he slowly drags toward his mouth, where he settles to brush his lips against the sensible skin there.

“You’re taking advantage of my inability to say no to you.” Your hands are by now yearning to cup his cheeks, reminiscent of how the amber in his eyes becomes burnt umber once your body is flush against his. He cradles you between his arms as if you were made of porcelain; as if you were a dream that would slip with the first light of the morning sun. "Shall we go?"

Viktor settles your hand on the crook of his elbow, the movement fluid and gentlemanly mastered by repetition.

"Hmm, we shall, my love," he says, giving you a seemingly innocent peck on the lips, though, at the end of the motion, Viktor decides to get a playful nibble on your lower lip. A promise of what is to come. "We shall."

Introducing some of my nextgen ponies! I made them back in 2018 and these were drawn back in 2022. Newer art is in progress ^^

Turning Gear: Inventor with some impressive magical abilities. He is intelligent but the most awkward guy you'll ever meet. He is curious and together with Time Twister he often get into trouble. Starlight has tried and failed to tame his bird's nest of a mane but to no avail.

Classic Remix: A radio host on the shyer side. She feels safe sitting behind a mic but is more withdrawn in public. She likes to dye her mane to add a splash of color to her otherwise gray appearance. Remix has a great singing voice but is too shy to sing for a crowd. She got her cm for specializing on remixing classical music, something she came to love due to her moms' frequent collabs. She shares her music on her radio show.

Lightshow: Expert at creating light shows with her magic. She works as a light “technician” of sorts on live performances. Lately she has been helping Honeycrisp Melody out on her tour. Lightshow is enthusiastic, determined and competitive. One of her favorite things to do is play hoofball with her best friend Fastlegs.

Fastlegs: Sports coach for foals of all ages. Advocates for inclusion and love to teach. He lost his left wing to cancer and had a hard time coming to terms with his new life being flightless. He is the kindest most genuine stallion around. To feel more at ease Fastlegs moved to Ponyville to be closer to his best friend Lightshow and get away from all the expectations he felt back in Cloudsdale.

Honeycrisp Melody: Country singer with a heart of gold. She is a true Apple and loves to help around the farm whenever she can. She is optimistic, excitable and social. She loves to brawl with her cousin Candid Apple and guest star on Classic Remix's radio show. Melody is rather short and unlike most Apples, not as sturdy in her build. She inherited her pegasi traits from Rara's side of the family.

Blazing Hooves: Dedicated firefighter. He is highly empathic and takes his job very seriously. Blaze can be somewhat of a party pooper due to his dedication but his baby sister can usually make him ease up a bit. He wanted to become a firefighter as a colt after his family home burned down and his sister lost one of her legs in the fire.

Time Twister: Time traveler…?👀 She is sassy and confident, as well as dramatic and a smartass. She loves to create just enough of a chaos to stay entertained in her day to day life. One of her favorite pastimes is giving magical items to Gear to tinker with. The occasional explosion is the highlight of her day.

Princess Theory: An elegant and dutiful draconequus with a knack for getting into wacky situations. She loves to pull pranks and be generally annoying. Theory has a pretty dark sense of humor but just like her father she is very charming in her ways. Her parents have passed some impressive magical abilities down to her but her favorite trick is to teleport. She has ADHD.

Candid Apple: Works on Apple Acres. He is talkative, kind, family orientated and has a severe sweet tooth. Candid loves to bake apple treats when he isn’t working the land. His favorite cousin is Melody whom he grew up with on the farm.

Zerina: Librarian for the royal family. She is kind of messy and forgetful outside of work but she's incredibly sweet. She’s humble and generous. Zerina is autistic and her special interest is Equestrian history. Due to her expertise she got the job as the head librarian in the royal library where she can study all the archived materials as she pleases. She is a close friend of princess Theory whom happens to be neurodivergent herself.

Rockslide Pie: Rodeo performer. He is clumsy, silly and tends to fumble on his words. He is bold in his performances.. There is nothing he likes more than to entertain and make others laugh, something he got to discover through his aunty Pinkie.

Snow Quartz: Artist specializing on ice sculptures. She is the younger sister of Blazing Hooves but unlike her big brother she is calm and relaxed most of the time. She is spontaneous and easygoing. She's witty around her brother and likes to joke with him (on his expense). Her missing leg doesn’t bother her at all.

Yeah, so my cat hopped on my desk and deleted everything I just said so yeah fuck that. Anyway. Most of the time unless I date a soloist or someone in my group I end up making my s/o(s) the same person in different looks because I'm picky yet indecisive and can't choose. They'll definitely make me happy to the point it's addicting. (I can't do slow burns😓) They will light the room no matter where they are.

It's also probably my necklace. It has a crystal on it and something for each family member who has passed. I have this in my CR, but I wanted to add this, too: a ring for my uncle, a carved portrait for my pawpaw, a wing for my brother, and a paw for my dog. Just kind of a memorial I guess.

Remix resources: streaming & buying

First trustworthy Spotify playlist I've found so far (please feel free to link to others in the comments to share the love)!

Here's a good Apple Music playlist:

For YouTube, I recommend getting the Scener extension on Chrome and joining the streaming party so you don't have to babysit manual streams or take time making a queue.

Remember to manually search and add Remixes, Wander, and Wonder to your playlists on Pandora, Tidal, Amazon, Deezer and Qobuz (which is being fussy for me right now, don't know about you guys).

Then remember to go on iTunes and buy each song separately and delete from your library (you may have to manually search for Remixes, Wander, and Wonder).

US ARMY--the BTS store is selling Remixes but THIS IS NOT CHART ILLEGIBLE. It WILL NOT COUNT for us if you buy it.

what I love about the Apple Music vs Spotify fight is that Apple is clearly undercutting Spotify by offering an objectively better service at a cheaper price point with the aim of running Spotify out, establishing a monopoly, and then racketing up the prices. unfortunately that’s never gonna happen because people aren’t on Spotify for the music quality, they’re on Spotify to listen to bakudeku playlists titled these violent ends that’s 60% Taylor Swift and 20% lana del ray without ads and Apple is never going to capture that market because they’re too snooty to become 8tracks which means I’m going to enjoy lossless audio + an integrated but separate classical music app + ability to add pirated music to my library at half the cost of Spotify for a few years more inshahallah

how NOT to pirate music (simple)

With Spotify having tons of issues with taking music off its platform and not paying artists, and with both Spotify and Apple Music costing ridiculous amounts of money, AND with YouTube fighting with adblockers and literally costing you more money depending on what device you're buying Premium on -- you might be considering pirating music.

This is a very simple guide on how NOT to do that.

Pick a song. If possible, find a audio only or lyric video so it's ONLY the song and doesn't include silence or things like MV scenes

Find it on YouTube and use this YouTube to MP3 site: https://y232.live/ (or any YT to MP3 converter that works, but this one has no ads!)

If the song isn't on YouTube, google "[website] video to mp3 converter". Use caution when using these sites because they often have a lot of pop-up ads!!

Download it. You can name the file whatever you want, but things will be much easier for you if you name it something similar to the song title

Download a music sorting software. I use iTunes but there's also MusicBee which is free and does a lot of the same things. If you have other recommendations please share!

Upload the file(s) to the software.

Edit it to have the proper song name and artist name. Or name it whatever you want. This is the only real important part when it comes to organization. iTunes and MusicBee also give the options to list things like the album name, album artist, year, genre, etc. MusicBee lets you add tags as well and even list the language of the song.

Click play and enjoy!

(Re: downloading music to your phone, iTunes makes it very easy to sync your music library with your Apple Devices, but I'm still playing around with MusicBee so I'm not sure what capabilities it has yet. I've heard of another app called MediaMonkey which I believe is supposed to sync to Apple and Android devices but I can't say for sure)

This may seem like a lot of work (hypothetically of course), but having ownership of your own music files is definitely worth it!

Detransitioning you// Your ftmtf mother is here - Part 2

See here for part 1

Wants to detransition for the kink, and need some guidance and encouragement? Here I am. This week we're gonna have a girl day out.

Last week we hugged a plushie and let the thought in that "It is okay to be a girl (although it's okay to not be one too".

This week we're gonna go to have a sexless day out. We wanna detransition outside of sex too, so you can be a more hollistic girl. We wanna have good memories with being a girl, and you can come back and masturate when the day's over.

Task 4 - Gather your girly supplies

Having girly supplies helps you ground your femininiy. There are so many and you don't need to have everything. Just have at least 5 of the following

Sports bra and AFAB underwear

Feminine or gender neutral perfume

A notebook for your girl self (must)

Some feminine clothing

Shaving cream and blades

A haircut that is mid-length or longer, hair tie and bobby pins

A plushie you can girl-mode around

A comfort hoodie for your girl self

Feminine phone case

Makeup (you don't need to do full-face makeup)

A necklace/bracelet for your girl self

Gender roles are a social construct, but still you can enjoy gender when it makes you happy. These would help ground your femininity (especially in gender-neutral moments). Put them on or just put it in your girl-supplies-bag (from Part 1, basically have a bag where you can put your girly supplies, so you can find them easily, also helps with object permanence).

Task 5 - Being a girl isn't only about material things and identity. It is also about taste and connections. Get your notebook out and write down the following.

List 3 music albums that your girl self can listen to. 2 of them must be made by feminine artists. Add them to your Spotify.

List 2 series that is written in female-gaze. Add them to your Netflix/Disney+/HBO.

List 3 books that are written by feminine authors. Put them in your girl bag. You can also go for podcasts, add them to your Spotify/Apple Music.

Do the same for other forms of media you like. For an example Twitch streamers. Visual artists. Magazines.

Listen to the music, watch the shows in a feminine perspective. How does the plots or contexts relate to you differently if/when you're a woman? You can also watch your regular favorite shows and feel that difference. You can connect to the world as a girl, and it doesn't have to be sexual or degrading.

PS. I said "feminine artists" because femininity can come from gender-diverse people. It could be made by non-binary people, and please consider trans or queer women's work too.

Have you prepared the above? You can go into this immediately, or you can give it 1-2 days to settle in first. When you're ready, we are having a day out.

Task 6 - Have a day out (sexless one)

Put on your clothes, underwear, shave your legs etc, complete 5 or above in Task 4, and let's pull out Google Map and choose somewhere to be.

It could be a museum, a park, a library, a neighborhood, a concert, a tourist spot, a cafe etc. Repeat to yourself the name and the pronouns you want to experiment with, and try to perceive and interact with the world as her.

You don't need to be extra feminine or pass to have this day out. Try to imagine a trans woman just starting out on her transition, she might not fit into society's gender or passing expectations, but you would still be supportive of her. Support yourself the way you would encourage her if you get dysmorphic, worrying that you do not pass or look weird. You're okay. There are many ways to be a woman and a human.

Let yourself take it slow and enjoy this day as a woman. If you have any thoughts, worries, things you wanna try, inspirations, write it down in your girl notebook. Let your inner girl be heard. Let yourself get inspired by her.

I have tried this and have come back with a lot more appreciation for myself and my femininity. I have come to realize that my femininity is more than the trauma that she experienced. And there is in fact a lot of life and joy in her than I expected. And on the other hand, sometimes I come back soaked and excited. Go on, ride your hand, touch yourself in your girly clothes and bra, you've earned it.

Being a girl outside of bed can be exhilirating and empowering. It makes my post-nut clarity after gender play feel lighter too, it helped with my self-hatred and let me be less shut off. It doesn't have to mean you're detransitioning irl seriously. Remember that people who like pup play also like non-sexual pup activities such as eating from dog bowls or petting. You can enjoy the non-sexual aspects of being a girl, and you're allowed to enjoy them.

I hope you had a good day out. If you find some nice jewelleries at gift shops or thrift stores, get them! You will need it for Part 3.

If you’re talking about just finding the audio, I’m chronically online and like to collect things like weird sounds lmao

If you’re talking about adding it to my projects:

What you wanna do is first, find the audio, either a YouTube Video, TikTok, Sound Cloud, ect ect

(also helps to search up if the audio is copy written or if the creator doesn’t want you using their audio)

Then you want to download or record that audio

(I have YouTube here as an example but things like TikTok should give you an actual download button if the creator has allowed it)

(Screen record option on my IPad (you may have to toggle this on in settings if you have an Apple device))

Then go to CapCut (that’s the editing site I use, I unfortunately can’t help if you use a different one but I’m led to believe they follow the same structure)

Create a new project and find the add audio option

Once you’ve got that hit the extracted button, it should pull up your photo library where you can add the sound from any videos you have :D
