The more I think about it, the more I think the budget for season 4 was misspent when it came to the character designs.

For starters, you're telling me it was absolutely necessary to redesign the Osamodas King, someone who already had a perfectly good design they keep using nonetheless, even though (webtoon aside) he only had a few minutes of screentime and a handful of lines, and the fandom doesn't care all that much about him in the first place?

Or how about the fact that they also redesigned the Prince of Brâkmar? I get it was probably to highlight how he was now king (if my memory doesn't fail me), but considering the overall aesthetic doesn't change all that much, I can't help but find it unnecessary.

Not to mention how they introduced Astra and her wife (a fact that I adore, don't get me wrong. Literal lesbian queens for the win) for the exact same purpose: just a few minutes of screentime.

Come on! This is a reoccurring pattern!

You're telling me The Assembly introduced rulers who weren't even part of the Council of Twelve back in season 2 just to really hammer in the fact that the Eliatropes are unwelcomed outsiders, but Ankama couldn't afford to give Eva her Kickstarter design or to create a proper wedding dress for Amalia?

I've got more headcanons for this pairing (By the way, I love the headcanon that Lance is basically a big cat):

They practice singing together as a bonding experience.

Lance often sends bouquets of viola flowers to Adalyn.

Adalyn teaches Lance sign language in case he encounters any visitors that are deaf and/or mute who would not be comfortable with him or Balan having to read their minds.

Adalyn actually feels comfortable with Lance whether he is in his Pure or Negati form.

When Lance is in his Pure form, Adalyn sometimes runs her fingers through his hair while they cuddle. The first time she did this, Lance ended up subconsciously turning into his Negati form but immediately calmed down when he realized it was still Adalyn. It took a while, but he eventually became comfortable with the gesture.

The two have cute nicknames for each other.

For Lance, it's "Angel Face", "Baby Boo", "Captain Cuddles", "Cuddle Buddy", "Honey Bunch", "Hubby", "Huggy Bear", "Lanny", "Lancey", "My Caesar", "My Prince", "Jelly Bear", "Kitten", "Snuggle Bear", and "Pookie Bear".

For Adalyn, it's "Amore", "Apple of My Eye", "Better Half", "Cupcake", "Darling", "Diamond", "Jewel", "Little Dove", "Love of my Life", "Lucky Charm", "Mi Cielito", "My Angel", "My Popstar", "My Sweetest Ethereal", and "Treasure".

Whenever Adalyn refers to Lance with one of her nicknames for him, he points at himself as though he is asking if she means him, and to Adalyn it is very adorable.

I sure do.

Lance met Adalyn when he heard singing from her Chapter. He went inside and saw Adalyn singing by herself. When Adalyn saw Lance, the two soon started talking.

Their relationship would be considered as "chill but romantic", meaning they both take one step at a time, never rushing things. In fact, before they had their first date, Adalyn had to be patient and calm in order for Lance to come out of his shell.

Lance had shown Adalyn his Negati. He described them to her as "cat-like". One of the Negati, Kosokoso (the squirrel-like Negati), took a huge liking to Adalyn.

One of their favorite things to do is lounge in a really safe and comfy area where they could cuddle. And yes, Adalyn will hear Lance purr like a cat.

These Questions are the result of suggestions a the previous iteration.

This category may include suggestions made too late to fall into the correct earlier time grouping. Basically, I'd already moved on to human history, but I'd periodically get a pre-homin suggestion, hence the occasional random item waaay out of it's time period, rather than reopen the category.

In some cases a culture lasted a really long time and I grouped them by whether it was likely the later or earlier grouping made the most sense with the information I had. (Invention ofs tend to fall in an earlier grouping if it's still open. Ones that imply height of or just before something tend to get grouped later, but not always. Sometimes I'll split two different things from the same culture into different polls because they involve separate research goals or the like).

worm dresses a little nicer than bj. his suit is in better condition and better fitted, but its horribly outdated. he wears a starched collar shirt, waistcoat, and suit jacket. his suit is black, with orange spots. he has black slicked hair, and the same eyes and nose as beej but a more gaunt face and sharper chin. he's tall and still as opposed to bj's fidgeting. i dont have a voiceclaim for him but his voice is a higher pitch than bj's and a bit less growly. very monotone way of speaking.
