MORE of Jinx Isha and Ekko headcanons. BUT this time, its more oc? Like I want to put some here like "what if they had another kid, Jinx's pregnancy etc." And I know, some people hate it. So please if you do not like this idea, do not read this one. I will try to do more so anyone can read them! <3 Not every head canon in this will be about this idea, but there will be. Wich ones wont be about this, I will reuse in another post, so anyone can read it <3

Ekko likes to use pet names on Jinx "babe, dear, love. My darling etc.." she likes them only in privet.

Scar (Ekko's second in comand of firelights) didnt like Isha at first. She was wierd to him. But soon learnd to like her. He was one of the first ones who accepted Jinx among them. To annoy her, he calls her Inx. She as reavenge calls him Sca (she always looks like shes trowing up).

Ekko and Jinx again created their round bike. They annoy the shit out of other firelighs.

Jinx still goes to last drop to just sit in Silco's old office and just talks to herself.

Ekko painted Au Powder so Jinx can see her. Isha saw it too and did her hair as Powder. Jinx got mad at her (for first time in history) and stormed out of the base. Isha spended the day crying in Ekko's arms. When Jinx came back, Isha was still crying but didn't came near Jinx. Jinx after little time couldnt watch Isha cry anymore and just cuddled her for the rest of the night.

When Jinx finded out she was pregnant, her first idea was that for sure she's gona "Jinx" that kid. Later that day Ekko founds her crying. At first she does not want to tell him what happend. When she finally does. He does not react so he wont scare her (he secretly tries not to jump and cry in happiness).

Jinx didn't said anything about her pregnancy until it was visible.

She was acually the calmest in her life during her pregnancy, she was also at her weakest. In the begin of her pregnancy, she trew up daily even two times. Aperently it was thanks to Shimmer.

Ekko was nonstop scared that Shimmer would kill both Jinx and their baby. Luckily it did not.

Isha was extremly happy about the news. She wanted baby sister and was really pissed of when she got little brother. But she loves him.

Jinx is always scared that she will accidently hurt her kids.

She hated how everyone wanted to hold her baby. She let only Ekko to hold their baby.

Vi almost killed Ekko when she founded out about Jinx's pregnancy. Cait was acually the one who stoped her. Even thou she says she does not care, Cait is acually good aunt to both Isha and her brother.

Jayce and Viktor does not visit under city and firelights base often. But they always make super sure to bring Isha and her brother gifts (Viktor insist on this.)

Both Isha and her brother love Lest. They are so confused why kids love them, but they like kids as well.

Sometimes Ekko talks Jinx into letting kids with Scar or some of their friends and they spend time just together. Jinx hates letting kids alone, but she is always greatfull for when Ekko does this.

Jinx, Ekko and Isha has matching nails.

Ekko is weirdly obsessed with Jinx's hair. Like anytime he can, he plays with her hair, brush it, braid it or just hold few of them.

Jinx and Isha both gently tugs on Ekko's clothes when they want/need his attantion.

When Zeri joined firelights, she was jelous over Jinx (bcs she too liked Ekko). They once had fight and after Jinx almost broke Zeri's spine, she stoped even looking at Ekko (Zeri is from league of legends and is also from Zaun. I saw some people shiping Zeri and Ekko so I got this idea, also this is more for people who do not play league)

Jinx and Ekko are both really easily jealous.

When Ekko for the first time heard the song from Au. He asked Jinx for the dance.

When he heard it for the second time, he told her that he loves her.

When he heard it for the fifth time, he proposed.

When he heard it for the tenth time, she told him she is pregnant.

So I am mildly obsessed with pre Star Wars movie merch

Now you might be saying ,"Emprex ,movie merch didnt really become a thing till Star Wars "

Star Wars is what got people to see the potential of movie merch,but in the decades before they still existed.Less frequently but they happened : There were toys based on celebs like Shirley Temple and Laurel & Hardy . In the 30's Wizard of Oz had some merch In the 60's the Monster Kid fandom emerged so toys and models based on Movie monsters from the Universal lot (Frankenstein,Dracula,Wolfman ,Creature of the Black Lagoon ,The Mummy ,The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Phantomof the Opera) to Kaiju (King Kong* and Godzilla) and James Bond* was popular so toys of his adventures started around Goldfinger .The big one folks talk about pre Star Wars is Planet of the Apes ,which was a huge franchise in the 70's

One medium guranteed to generate merch was one might not even think of as "movie merch " ....CARTOONS .Yeah I think most associate cartoons with TV ,but remember they first showed in movie theaters .So popular cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny ,Mighty Mouse ,Popeye, and Mr Magoo all got merch

However in my research the studio that first saw the advantages of merch and reallly embraced merch:DISNEY .Disney admitted back in the the day alot of their income came more from the merch then the films ,which is cause they put Mickeys mug on everything from Dolls to comics (Also Disney released the first movie soundtrack with Snow White ,which I think is neat ) .Heck what got me on this ramble is in the 60's Disney released mini painted figures of characters from their various films called Disneykins which I think is neat

*Oh also I acually have a reissue of the Aurora King Kong model which I have been putting off building for 3 years now ,and have some vintage 60's James Bond figurs (Bond,Money Penny,M ,Goldfinger ,Oddjob and Dr No respectfully) Which stand proudly on my DVD shelf ...Im a dork

Dragon AU Question time! When THK awoke in the Black Egg Temple, did they fit through the entrance properly? I imagine they bonked thier horns on it and then truely realized thier acual change, shock and confusion would easily allow them to just crawl out first thing in the, well, morning.

1. not really but they. "fixed" the entrance via accidental brute force. its a good thing nobody was gonna want to go back in there again because it wasnt in the greatest state before their horns took out any structural support the entrace had

2. there was an attempt to stop them from entering houses and shops that still had an intact doorframe but they just looked so sad that the bugs of dirtmouth decided that doorframes were an old trend anyways lmfao

3. hornet "borrowed" jijis cave. she walked in and asked if anyone was using it and didnt wait for an answer (the answer she got was too scared by the dragon and half dragon half spider and her weapon to refuse. not that she would have. there are far worse roommates than the only living descendants of the fabled king, after all)

4. i adore how you imagined those spells so those interpretations are pretty damn great. i hadn't thought much about how soul magic would be altered but thats a damn good way to do it <3 so i say they work just like that lmfao

5. they could weild a nail but they prefer to just bite and claw and stab things with their tail. all of those in combination with spells are more than effective.

So I got The Sluts by Dennis Cooper to read while on the trip to my hometown, recommended by someone whose taste in books I trust (obviously with full warning of what the book entailed).

The plan was to read half on the ride there and half on the ride back. What happened instead was that I slammed the whole thing over five hours with small 20-min breaks in between to gather myself, because I couldn't stop reading. And then somehow I had to act normal around my family all night like I wasn't losing my mind.

Incredible framing and characterization, captures perfectly the worst of online cesspits and the feeling of obsession and need to be part of 'the new thing', including all the loss of empathy in the process. Unberable to read at times (a lot of the time) but in a good way. The main character, who we never acually hear from directly, only by proxy through everyone else's opinions of him, will probably stay with me for a long time.

Every single content warning under the sun, though. And I mean that as literally as possible, definitely don't go into this book unless you know what you're gonna read. But other than that, one of my favorite pieces of transgressive literature I've read. I hated every second of it, I can't recommend it enough.

Random recent thoughts + Storytime

I think im obsessed with ceaser salad even tho we havent spoken since that one time. Ive seen him around college soooo often (somtimes even multiple times in a day) but i havent spoken to him and he hasnt spoken to me. Ive honestly been avoiding him. But there was this one time, when i was waiting for my friend who was talking to some people she knew, when he came up to talk to those same people and we made eye contact. It was honestly so intense so i just looked awayb quickly, it was honestly just very "strong"(?). Like i honestly dont know how to decribe it, it was the first time hed looked into my eyes since that one time and it was ok.. a lot. Ive been actively avoiding him since (but also lowkey seeking his attention lol?). Im pretty sure he has this asian girlfriend but im not so sure. I saw him today tho, i totally forgot that he has a diamond pirecing in his one ear (i think its his left ear?). honestly hes not typically my type at all but he just gets more handsome every time i see him, and something inside of me just hurts. I almost wish id just taken the bus that day, instead of walking side-by-side with him. I just need to stop being obssesed. Its not healthy but i do wonder if he found me beautiful that first time we met, and if he still does. I can bet so much money that hes not into black girls tho.

Im really scared of failing. Failing exams, failing my potential, failing myself. I need to do well on these CAPs but i ahvent even started seriously studying for them and theyre a little over a week away. I dont want to let myself down but i just dont know what to do.

STORYTIME:

Ahhh ive totally forgotten to tell you this, but a few weeks ago (maybe 2) this drunk man hit on me while I was walking back from the library with my friend after "studying" (I wasnt productive). He started off the interaction by singing "my love life is so boring" while holding two green bottles of alcohol (not sure if thats something he made up or if its an acual song) to which I replied with "same" (in a singsong manner because duuuh). He asked me if I had a boyfriend, I told him "no" and he then went on to say that he could be my boyfriend. I just laughed a little and told him I was 17 but he quickly interjected and said "Im 19, its only a 2 year difference" (this man looked 20-21). He touched my back, twice. And idk.. the physical touching was kind of nice but obvously he was a stranger. I think im honestly just touch starved. Anyway continuing on with the story. I think he asked where I was going because I told him I was going home. The last thing I remember happening was him asking if he could come with me, me saying no, and then being dragged away by my friend. So theres that. Another cute little main character moment.

ps. my hisotory teacher wrote that my research notes were "fantastic!!"

Well, while I am now pondering the fact that I was invited to hang with people that probably regretted my inclusion, I am also pondering what the hell I can actually do to make friends for real. I don't ever meet anybody new anymore, and I can't exactly open my game and go into shout chat and say "hey, anyone want to be friends?" And nobody in instances acually care about staying friends with randos. And they all usually have their own friend groups anyways which are impossible to blend in with.

I couldn't try to join or build a static either bc my hours are so inconvenient. And the last time I tried to see if an old irl friend wanted to hang out I was turned down so I'm not doing that again. I don't have a single concrete hyperfixation right now that I can obsessively draw for and make mutuals over.

So the kind of people you don't want around you. are actual harmful bigots who want to kill and oppress minorities and.lets see, normal ass people who hate how normalised pedo and incest shit is on the internet and want ppl to acually be safe??? ok proshitter

The types of people I don't want to talk to are bigots, and still dangerous and unpleasant in their own rights radical extremists who call themselves 'Antishippers'. (This paragraph is also the tl;dr) Look how quickly you jumped to calling me a derogatory name for those who (you view as) directly opposing you! You don't know anything about what I think. You just assumed something about me because that makes it easier to hate me. You probably wouldn't even believe me if I said I don't like those kinds of ships either. Why?

Because to accept that people can disagree with you without directly belonging to the 'opposing group' or displaying certain negative characteristics/viewpoints you've been taught to hate or being bad people in general, are the shades of grey people with black and white mentalities cannot process. It would crumble the foundations of their beliefs to accept that people are complex. Especially when it comes to the imagination. Let's see why antishippers (as a group which suddenly emerged, and thus created a need for an 'opposing' label in the first place) are radicalised extremists. These are all actual signs of radicalisation/a couple of reasons why people become radicalised and how that works in this context (there are more but this post is too long); Being influenced or controlled by a group - Antishippers are themselves a group of course, people who all believe the same thing and use the same label are generally considered a 'group' or 'community'.

But also it is not unknown for 'subgroups' of antishippers to exist, where one or more with strong influences (sometimes an adult claiming to be 'safe' but who really knows when it's so easy to groom children using this 'safe adult' routine AND the community has produced said predators in the past) will usually dictate to others whom they should target for harassment or shaming of some kind. Doing so of course proves you're 'really in the group' you're 'really one of us'. Even if that means you'd have to expose yourself to content you dislike to interact with that person, it is deemed fine for other antis to impose that exposure on you because they're doing it 'for your own good/for the good of the cause' (see below).

Antishippers are frequently judgemental of each other, isolating, alienating and targetting their own members if said member doesn't 'toe the line' of acceptable fictional content absorbed and produced or general opinions on certain things. This creates an enviroment where free expression is not allowed, one must conform to the group or else. Portraying an obsessive/aggressive desire for change or 'something to be done' - You said something that eludes to this yourself. You see the existence of people who simply do not let fiction rule their lives, and understand that people can imagine and create all kinds of awful things whilst also maintaining that these things irl are bad as 'normalising' a certain behaviour. Not only are 'proshitters' not a monolith hivemind creature where everyone is the same*, they also do not carry that much power (but to admit the enemy isn't a threat would undermine the group, of course). Laws against acts like CSA and incest are not going away because somebody online drew Sans and Papyrus boning (pun intended).

Yet! Many antis strut around acting like there has been some kind of...rise, in the acceptability of certain taboo sexual acts purely based of online niche fictional content. If you're seeing genuine adult-minor or incest stuff a lot, you are in the wrong circles because I basically never see it and neither do many people I know. So, why all the anger from antis? The aggression towards others? Encouraging suicide, victim blaming, group harassment, attempts at or successful physical harm? What do you want to actually do, actually change? It's not about protecting minors. It's about controlling others until they agree with the group, or don't exist any more.

*'Us versus Them mentality' in which the opposing group is seen as not/less than human/lesser than the 'good' group - When I say 'Antishippers' I mean it as a name for the general group/mentality. I fully accept that there are people who label themselves antis to escape harassment, to follow what everyone else is doing without really understanding it, due to misunderstandings of what it means, or because they've been radicalised and aren't actually bad people or engaging in the worst of the behaviour they're just kind of 'there' being held by the group. That is not the way Antis behave about proshippers, neutralshippers, comshippers, anti-antis etc etc etc. The list of 'enemies' is never ending (and they are all secretly the same and absolutely always think x or do y etc). Whilst the list of allies contains only the group.

Therefore, you must stay with 'us' to be safe from 'them'. It's even popular/common to perpetuate rumours/propaganda about how the enemy works and thinks which are then used to radicalise others. As well as creating more and more rules about what is and isn't acceptable (see the idea that even real people can be 'minor coded', that an age gap of two years is unacceptable, that aging up is still pedophilia and that fans get to decide how old a character is based on the artists art style etc) to both create more enemies and close the iron fist just a bit tighter around those who wish to gain the approval of the group.

Things like 'proshipper is short for problematic shipper' (it's not, pro is just the opposite of anti and we are not getting into why the word problematic needs to be put on shelf until people start to use it correctly). Or proshipper = pedophile which is just a massive stretch/jump in logic and just statistically improbably - come to mind as popular antishipping propaganda. Do you really think people, anyone, would run blogs/accounts dedicated explicitly and openly to harassing people online who don't belong to the group? Of wanting them to kill themselves or be killed by the group? That they would happily delight in the idea of having caused someone to commit suicide? That they would mock or fakeclaim somebodies irl CSA story? That they would enact mass harassment campaigns, spread rumours, accuse people of being pedophiles, mass report people to get their accounts deleted, dox them and in extreme cases create sexually explicit RPF of those they hate, try to give somebody needle laced cookies etc if they actually viewed these people as actually people, equal individuals with rights and complexities - they just happen to not like what the person does fictionally? No. Yet these things have been done. The online stuff is happening right now, across the internet, as I type and anyone reads. Antis are naturally hostile because they believe in this less than human enemies, because they've been made to believe it. Usually by somebody who actually does believe it, and wishes for everyone else to conform because clearly you're too dumb to know what's actually right and wrong (see my first point). There's also an awful lot of ableism, misogyny and other negative viewpoints like again, victim blaming and suicide encouragment that is actually ignored because the group is always in the right but those things done by the enemy are wrong. Spending an increasing amount of time online and spreading extremist views online - I don't think I even have to explain this one. This might come as a surprise, but being online should be an enjoyable experience. I'm not saying never keep on track of world events that are negative or acting to harm and oppress. I'm not saying never speak out about these things. What I am saying is...for as 'normal' as antis want to say they are, if you're spending a lot or any in fact time online hating on somebodies fictional ship instead of just blocking tags and moving on that's not 'normal'. Or good for you, for that matter. You're just going to become so consumed by it that the group has full control over you. Remember, these ships do not influence real harm happening. These is no actual genuine proof that they do. You are being lied to, tricked, swindled and manipulated into believing it so others can decide how you should think and control your online presence. Don't become like them. Desire for status, need to dominate - These 'safe adults' who seem to run Discords full of minors like that's not sus especially when you're directing them to accounts with porn on it, asking them to share their sexual preferences because you are 'safe' and gathering info and 'face reveals' on them. Also just in general, some people just become antis because it allows them to aggressively dominate those who aren't antis and nobody in the group finds their maliciousness weird.

Need for identity, meaning and belonging - From ex-antis, it can be deduced that yes, a lot of antis experience this. Or just from the way some speak about the group and those opposing it. I get it, I really do. Feeling part of a group who is objectively 'right' and doing something noble, protective, good for the world especially vulnerable groups...that sounds amazing. You could really build a home there, in that idea. You are good, you are good because you are part of this group, end of story. Unfortunately, that's not how it works. No identity makes somebody automatically good. It's your actions, and the actions of those you choose to defend, which determine the harm you cause or allow to be caused. This is a really hard pill to swallow especially because there will likely be many redeeming qualities to people you've befriended in the group and it's just hard to self-evaluate and realise you've been wrong. Nobody and nothing exists in a void. Those who wish to prey on you because you want to belong, you need to feel like somebody good, like you're doing something with your life - they don't actually care about you. That's why it seems so easy to piss them off sometimes, to be excluded which them creates fear and pushes you closer because you can't possibly lose your group. You've made it your whole identity now. Who are you without antishipping? So what if you're telling people to kill themselves, or laughing as somebody is doxxed and cries about it on TikTok? You're good because the group says you are good, and if the group says you are good then you're not alone. But you can just...not be an anti, actually. You don't have to 'pick a side'. There's lots of people who will happily be your friends the moment you stop revolving around shipping discourse and start just enjoying being in the fandom. I promise fiction can be just fun and you can protect yourself from stuff you don't like. You're not wrong for feeling what you feel just knowing it's out there, it's the actions and mentality which isn't valid.
