With Wonwoo, I feel like he would admire from afar for a while and debate on if he would want to pursue someone or not. From what I've read online, it takes him awhile to get used to people which is why it would take him a month or so to see what he wants. Which is why his members would get involved. Some members, ie Hip Hop Unit (especially Seungcheol) might get impatient with is prolonged plan and would message you and invite you to an event with them. While at the event, they would try to subtly make sure that you both were near each other the whole time. I can see Seungcheol smirking if you both started to talk throughout the night and ignoring everyone else in the process. Mission accomplished.

Anyway did you know the current Parkinson's medication they give is literally the same thing they were giving over 50 years ago. Did you know it requires SWALLOWING and the only option if you develop impaired swallowing from The Disease That Impairs Your Swallowing is to start crushing it and adding it to applesauce and when that stops working the only thing left is to have a fucking tube surgically installed leading to your stomach. Did you know there is not even a version that can be given by IV!!!! There WAS an oral disintegrating tablet but the manufacturer fucking discontinued it. 🙃

And this medication has to be given MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY (there is an extended release version but it is prohibitively expensive so we only give it to dad before bed. Fun fact it does not last until morning!) and it loses effectiveness over time until eventually it just stops working.

(There is a new continuous subdermal pump version but it only just got FDA approval in the US and it will be at least 10 months before it's covered by Medicare, you know, the insurance that probably like 99% of Parkinson's patients in the US* rely on???????? Also iirc it's the same medication just a new delivery route so the issue of developing resistance still applies!!)

Thus, began Kirishima's scheme to ✨️nurture✨️ Kodaka into a person who could kick him harder & also strong enough to not break easily. He befriended (read: flirted) with his crush, lured him into a desolate place, provoked him, stayed docile & easy to kick, yadda yadda.

Really an elaborate plan for someone his age, it's almost cute.

This moment of Kirishima and concealer really highlights his cleverness since he was a kid. If he buys a concealer for his bruise, it's too pricey for his budget. Parents will question unnecessarily if he were caught buying it. Solution? Pretend to return the high schooler's money (even though it's his own) so they'd do the makeup for him. Bruise covered, money covered, no one's gonna know ☺️ Little manipulative shit.

I was gonna feel sorry for him for getting beaten up, but then his innocent, excited smile turned me off so quick. Ugh.

Hmmmmgh, yeah no, because in my rewrite I'm axing the entirety of Sabine actually becoming a Jedi it's going to be better that she goes with Ezra on the Eye of Sion instead of stays with Ahsoka, if she stayed a Jedi then yes that's what the conclusion should have been that makes narrative sense now that I see it.

This whole scene just doesn't work because we're trying to shoehorn it into being a bookend for the opening, it doesn't wooooooooooorrrrrk.

Where do I begin?

Okay so... final verdict... I DO actually like this show.

THAT BEING SAID.

There was soooooooo much about the execution and so many of the narrative choices that I just NEEDED to be better and it frustrates me. Because this show by all rights should have been a spectacular emotional thrill ride like Kenobi and it just wasn't.

A lot of the problems and nitpicks I had with Kenobi are exacerbated here, especially under Filoni's brand of, "I didn't care for what Lucas did with the Prequels, here let me fix it." NO FILONI IT DIDN'T NEED FIXING IT WAS FINE! HOW THE FORCE WORKED WAS FINE! THE JEDI WERE FINE!

But there's such GOOD STUFF in here that I can't discount it all fully like I can with the Sequel Trilogy. (Which, believe me, I have attempted to workshop and fixfic but ultimately gave up on.) The purrgil lore! The Ancient Dathomiri! Another galaxy! Whatever Baylan was up to! Sabezra being adorable! Thrawn!

Soooooo yeah, basically join me sometime in the future for when I inevitably create a fixfic AU for this show like I did for Aldnoah.Zero because unfortunately I can't give up on this show I need to fix it, just hand me the characters and story and I can fix it.

Can't do much for the camerawork, choreography, and occasional stiff acting (Not you Eman, Natasha, Ray, Evan, and Lars, you're all great.) but I can at least salvage that part lol.

Ultimately... mid. Excellent premise and cool concepts brought down by subpar execution and some frankly baffling narrative decisions. But gimme like a week and I will workshop a Fanon AU that I can be completely happy with.

Hopefully we get a Season Two? Maybe? Or resolve everything in the Mandoverse movie?

ok so the more i think about this the more i actually kinda wanna write it lololol.

(talking about s1-3 chloe in this one)

i feel like it'd be really messy, like they'd get into a lot of trouble all the time. chloe would teach adrien and kagami how to disrespect their parents. felix and chloe would consistently team up to manipulate their way into getting whatever they wanted. kagami and chloe would fight over their mutal crushes on adrien and might even have crushes on each other but would never admit it. they'd probably also make pacts every so often to protect adrien and felix from their parents/ other ppl who tried to manipulate and hurt them. adrien and felix would bicker and snark at each other but also be way too attached. they'd get mad whenever they were compared to each other but compare themselves to each other all the time. i also feel like felix would be the first to discover adrien's identity as cn because he's way too observant, but that might just be wishful thinking lol.

and then feligami would probably get stuck in an argument one day and then just all of a sudden grab each other's faces and kiss >:33 all that pent up tension ahahahahhahaha

backstory cuz it's important - @narcissusbrokenmirror was talking about... Luke and dogs? I think? I don't remember. (more about me kidnapping this fic idea in the ending post above)

Anyway. I decided that Willie should ask for a pet snake when he keeps saying no to them getting a dog. He agrees. Eventually one snake (Peony) becomes two (Poppy).

Alex wants and gets turtles (Squirt and Crush). Maybe they have more. I haven't gotten there.

There's a whole section about Julie and Reggie coming to the realization of what snakes eat, complete with crying and being comforted by their friends.

Anyway. the ending is ^^^ the beginning is:

“No, you guys. We don’t have enough room. We don’t have enough time. We can’t get a dog!” Luke looks between all four of his friends and roommates, each sporting their best puppy dog faces, and he sighs before waving at them and turning away, “And put those away. It’s not fair.” “But Luke! We’ll take care of it! We promise!” Reggie pleads, clasping his hands in front of him to really sell his point. “Dude, you forget that I TRIED THAT! For years. And literally never once actually followed through on it. We aren’t home enough.” Alex decides it’s his turn to try, “But you were a kid! We’re all adults!” He’s met with a chorus of “yeah”s from the group and Luke rolls his eyes. “No.” Everyone huffs in frustration as they resign themselves to his veto vote. They’d agreed that decisions like this needed to be unanimous but they don’t have to be happy about the results.

This wasn't a victory of the right, it was a deliberate and intentional sabotage from America's "Left." The moderates that's supposed to represent us obviously did this on purpose. Every corner they turned, every decision they made, every stumble was calculated to purposefully sabotage the election. Against themselves? Why?!

They have no skin in the game. The US government makes more money from the corrupt and the corporate greed. The politicians all saw Trump's fascism, and quickly realized they wouldn't be at the bottom of the totem pole. (They're all mostly white, usually old, and usually male politicians. They had nothing to lose if they lost.)

But if they won? Well, they might have actually had to have gotten their act together. They might have to put some cuts into their bottom line. They might have to start expanding linearly instead of exponentially (every business person's worst nightmare. Well, at least the insane ones.) Yeah, they could have lied and not done a single thing they promised (like they've done every election.) But, it'd just be easier to lose.

America is fucked... We'll continue standing. We must keep standing. We'll be alive tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that. Make plans. Change your life. Take control, before you can't anymore.

You might have to start fighting for your life now, so. You might as well give them hell.

Keep your chin up. Stand tall. And for the love of fuck, don't let them crush your Spirits. That's when you actually lose. You can spit blood in someone's eye while your bones are breaking, but the moment you give up, that's when you actually lose.
