From what I've read online, it takes him awhile to get used to people which is why it would take him a month or so to see what he wants. Which is why his members would get involved. Some members, ie Hip Hop Unit (especially Seungcheol) might get impatient with is prolonged plan and would message you and invite you to an event with them. While at the event, they would try to subtly make sure that you both were near each other the whole time. I can see Seungcheol smirking if you both started to talk throughout the night and ignoring everyone else in the process. Mission accomplished.

Out of all the mysteries presented in this series (the hell's up with Suo Azami, Renji, Yoshino's parents, the brewing yakuza civil war), Kirishima's past is one thing that hyped me up the most; mostly because I've been dying to know the background this insane yet lovable(?) ML lololol.

The parents slowly realize the abnormal blood that's been there since Gaku era has never disappear from their family.

Since Gaku is the black sheep of the family, Kirishima's dad prob thought: 'Oh fuck this is uncle all over again. No wait I can do this. He already released his energy using a good outlet (karate), he just needs to surround himself with good people. Friends, yeah. The school we picked is the best; surely there's no bad influence that's gonna taint my son. No more psycho #2.' Umm, I hate to break it to you, but daddy-

Ironically, the dad might be the first person who gave him insight about the feeling of having fun by being with a friend. Up until that point, he probably didn't know the feeling he felt when he did the karate. He did it many times, and the dad claimed he liked it, but he never registered it as 'liking something' until it was pointed out to him.

(just like when kirishima threw daggers at yoshino's back until she pointed out he might be jealous of Shoma and he got a little 'ahh that explains it' moment.)

She's cute. Sweet. More importantly, she's important enough to trigger Kodaka.

She told him all he needed to know about Kodaka. Great in academics, gyms, and karate. Secretly violent too. Just like himself.

Remember in ch 25.2 when Kirishima told Yoshino he once formed a "friendship plan" that went down the drain?

Whelp, looks like Kodaka is that "friend." We all know how that ends, tho.

Anyways.

Thus, began Kirishima's scheme to ✨️nurture✨️ Kodaka into a person who could kick him harder & also strong enough to not break easily. He befriended (read: flirted) with his crush, lured him into a desolate place, provoked him, stayed docile & easy to kick, yadda yadda.

Really an elaborate plan for someone his age, it's almost cute.

This moment of Kirishima and concealer really highlights his cleverness since he was a kid. If he buys a concealer for his bruise, it's too pricey for his budget. Parents will question unnecessarily if he were caught buying it. Solution? Pretend to return the high schooler's money (even though it's his own) so they'd do the makeup for him. Bruise covered, money covered, no one's gonna know ☺️ Little manipulative shit.

I was gonna feel sorry for him for getting beaten up, but then his innocent, excited smile turned me off so quick. Ugh.

(This is prob the beginning of his exploration to find new "fun" stuff to try. Like choking himself, for example.)

Kirishima is a pathological liar huh. Saying his birthday is in September even though it's in November. This really adds weight to his words earlier that he only revealed his true birthday to Yoshino 🥺🥲

Kirishima's plan to nurture Kodaka is going smoothly in this chapter. Maintaining good relationship with Otogawa, making him jealous and all that.

I bet bringing a 10,000 yen bill is part of the plan too, because kids need the motivation to keep coming back to him. Extorting a broke student is boring afterall.

It's been 300 days since Kodaka had beaten him up? Um. Excuse me what the fuck. With that many injuries, Where are his parents??? Did he ever get questioned at all?? Is Kirishima just that good at lying?? I'm sorry, but I also smell neglection. Intentionally or not.

Moving on, Kirishima is damn good huh. His fights like an adult, prob even better than some yakuza. He's 12. Let that sink in.

I wanna say he's so disgusting when he ripped the poor dude's ear (where on earth did he learn that?), but he's also my son, so...

Where do I begin?

Okay so... final verdict... I DO actually like this show.

THAT BEING SAID.

There was soooooooo much about the execution and so many of the narrative choices that I just NEEDED to be better and it frustrates me. Because this show by all rights should have been a spectacular emotional thrill ride like Kenobi and it just wasn't.

A lot of the problems and nitpicks I had with Kenobi are exacerbated here, especially under Filoni's brand of, "I didn't care for what Lucas did with the Prequels, here let me fix it." NO FILONI IT DIDN'T NEED FIXING IT WAS FINE! HOW THE FORCE WORKED WAS FINE! THE JEDI WERE FINE!

But there's such GOOD STUFF in here that I can't discount it all fully like I can with the Sequel Trilogy. (Which, believe me, I have attempted to workshop and fixfic but ultimately gave up on.) The purrgil lore! The Ancient Dathomiri! Another galaxy! Whatever Baylan was up to! Sabezra being adorable! Thrawn!

Soooooo yeah, basically join me sometime in the future for when I inevitably create a fixfic AU for this show like I did for Aldnoah.Zero because unfortunately I can't give up on this show I need to fix it, just hand me the characters and story and I can fix it.

Can't do much for the camerawork, choreography, and occasional stiff acting (Not you Eman, Natasha, Ray, Evan, and Lars, you're all great.) but I can at least salvage that part lol.

Ultimately... mid. Excellent premise and cool concepts brought down by subpar execution and some frankly baffling narrative decisions. But gimme like a week and I will workshop a Fanon AU that I can be completely happy with.

Hopefully we get a Season Two? Maybe? Or resolve everything in the Mandoverse movie?

i feel like it'd be really messy, like they'd get into a lot of trouble all the time. chloe would teach adrien and kagami how to disrespect their parents. felix and chloe would consistently team up to manipulate their way into getting whatever they wanted. kagami and chloe would fight over their mutal crushes on adrien and might even have crushes on each other but would never admit it. they'd probably also make pacts every so often to protect adrien and felix from their parents/ other ppl who tried to manipulate and hurt them. adrien and felix would bicker and snark at each other but also be way too attached. they'd get mad whenever they were compared to each other but compare themselves to each other all the time. i also feel like felix would be the first to discover adrien's identity as cn because he's way too observant, but that might just be wishful thinking lol.

and then feligami would probably get stuck in an argument one day and then just all of a sudden grab each other's faces and kiss >:33 all that pent up tension ahahahahhahaha

WHAT IF LIKE.. Well, probably like imagine too, WHAT IF S/O (the Farmer girl!), BUT S/O IS LIKE ROYALTY TOO (changing reputations here!), was actually and supposed to be betrothed to Helel when they were young/children. Like child marriage and all that.

I do think Helel would be surprised as child back then, but how children would react, he would be upset and confused. But he slowly accept it, thinking his fiance may as well be not so interested to him anyways. BUT THEN, when this motherfucker entered the room where he would meet his betrothed partner, and quickly fall in love at the sight of them.

His once act of bored and "man I don't want to be here, at all!" Turned into child-like and puppy crush on S/O, liking them already as he doesn't want to change at all. But, I think this is start of Helel obsession as well..

BUT ALSO TWIST HERE, Nathaniel (Or Nebu, I don't know which design suits him. But I like Ithawua Hunter! Nathaniel Nebuchadnezzar design more! I think it suits him!), Nebu actually likes S/O, but hearing them being betrothed to his own literal brother, Helel. He's upset and doesn't talk to Helel for awhile. MOSTLY YEARS AS THEY GROW UP

But during and after Helel exile, even though he's supposed to be the crowned king, with Nebu being now the Sun King. As he has the power with Helel gone as well (He coming back later), he makes S/O his own lover. Even though S/O promise themselve to only love Helel (it can be out of love or only doing it to satisfy the royals)

S/O situation will be like the farmer girl on the fic, locked up the cage and their body getting used, but with more punishment if S/O keeps mentioning Helel

But when Helel comes back (with trust issues), I think he will regeconize his own betrothed. Feeling happy and relief, just to see his own betrothed, but seeing what Nebu has done to them. You may hear some... Screams in the brother dungeon

But remember, Helel is very much fucked up after his years old exile. So, he's still the same but more overprotective and does keep his betrothed in the golden cage. Like trapped dove, with body of a delicate doll.

This wasn't a victory of the right, it was a deliberate and intentional sabotage from America's "Left." The moderates that's supposed to represent us obviously did this on purpose. But if they won? Well, they might have actually had to have gotten their act together. They might have to put some cuts into their bottom line. Yeah, they could have lied and not done a single thing they promised (like they've done every election.) But, it'd just be easier to lose.

he's demiromantic asexual, meaning he only falls for people once he's had a strong emotional connection to them

as a result, he tends to be painfully unaware of most people trying to flirt with him—and when he finds out, he usually reacts to it with confusion

eventually he gets better about matching the other person's energy if they're joke-flirting with him, but as soon as someone expresses serious interest in him he tries to turn them down gently*

despite his lack of talent for detecting romance, he is aware of the strong feelings many Constructs hold towards him—both platonic and romantic. and for the romantic ones, knowing that not returning those feelings would crush a lot of them, he actively avoids trying to confirm or deny anything

whenever he can't sleep at night or he has a nightmare, he usually goes alone to the training rooms to practice, gradually turning up the difficulty until he's worn out

sometimes this means that he stays up for hours at a time. it's not healthy and he knows it, but he's willing to try something. anything to get the voices out of his head

sometimes he can only be stopped when someone stumbles upon his session late at night. usually it's Lucia, sometimes it's Lee, sometimes Chrome. it's only then that, under the scoldings of the Constructs, he lets himself be led back to the Gray Raven lounge

he used to never dream. he doesn't remember when he started dreaming

sometimes Liv will find him sitting on the couch staring into space, a distant look in his eyes. at first, it used to worry her, the way his gaze would drift. eventually she became used to it, bringing him tea with lavendar and just. sitting with him

he usually found that he wouldn't have any more nightmares that night

he had met each Gray Raven member before, although they had been but nameless faces in a crowd to each other. it seemed fate had a funny way of bringing the unlikeliest of people together

he's around the same age as Lee's and Lucia's mental ages, being twenty or so when he graduated and joined Gray Raven squad

he used to not like thinking about his birthday. but gradually, as he became surrounded by people who care about him, people whom he can call family, he began to look forward to it—if only it meant he could gather everyone together sooner
