the urge to make public character playlists for my little guys...

#i have very specific ideas of their music tastes (across OC projects)#ofc i feel like some characters just straight up wouldnt listen to music / would only listen to noise #like kranken is NOT bumping ANYTHING! that man is listening 2 harsh noise n the natural acoustics of his operating room/torture chamber 24/7 #octavia ofc likes nu metal but i feel like she'd like that very specific almost subsection of nu metal that's industrial influenced #like static x for example :]#eagle eyed fans know that's her canon fav band (tho i don't actually intend to have real people in the final comic. only a reference/parody)#jaundice likes goth and new wave #onion is an interesting case. i feel like they'd be into a mix of emo nu metal electropop and super obscure shit #in fact it's a little out of the time period for reassass but there's a band called hadouken! and that's exactly what they'd be into lol #other than that? prob msi + weezer + attack attack + various whiny guy music with synths and guitars #moving away from reassass... i feel like the x-calibur quartet would all have VERY different music tastes #nova's prob a fan of really popular music (which in merlinete i feel would be more synth-y / weirder than actual earth music)#paro is a ambient fan in my eyes. and experimental music in general. also if he was a human boy he would be annoying about radiohead #v con is obviously a 1 billion samples smashed together enthusiast #and clyde is punk so duh punk rock! ofc cosmorgana rock would sound different to irl rock music... think like squid squad from splatoon lol #oops i tag rambled again oh well #oc rambling #ocs #reassassination #ultimate x calibur

Hmmm as for favorite poem, there's a few I throw out as my top poem with frequency, but here I've got to say The Bridge by C. Dale Young. I just adore its positivity and the way it isn't afraid to be in love with the small details of life. That's just a feeling I relate with so much in my life and the whole poem is SUCH a vibe. Think I called it my idea of the world's greatest love poem in an essay once (which is def A Claim which idk if I'd fully back up now but the vibes are there) because it isn't just a poem about being in love with someone, it's loving everything they do and everything around you and loving just the world as a whole and how you see it everyday. #diana's music diary #good morning #i slept early #it was nice #very cozy #I only slept like 4 hours though cause I had to get up for a delivery... also I'm posting this a couple of hours after waking...#as is becoming usual for these... I've been kind of vibing to music pretty much...#anyway yesterday was good but so exhausting... played lethal company with friends like I'd said which was really fun!! was a little bit of #process getting my bearings in it since I'd seen maybe one second of gameplay before but after a day or two in game I picked it up I'd say!#I mostly just ran away when I saw something scary but I tried scanning a monster and it opened the door which made me scream once ahaha #after that I was a lil tired but we ended up having a session of the project moon ttrpg I'm in kind of out of nowhere #it was short but v fun to play Frei again he kind of completely shut down the distortion singlehandedly which was surprising considering he #has no combat capability.. incapacitated them and read its mind which helped us figure out what we needed to do to resolve the distortion #-peacefully! my partners character did the actual resolving cause Frei is terrified of going near anything as gross as that distortion was #(it was a giant gross greasy burger monster. who was just bob from bobs burgers. he ended up in a polycule with linda and teddy after.)#Frei also read my partners characters mind a bit and maybe upset him a little by mentioning his daughter (her character is divorced lol)#anyway yeah... I was tired after both of those so I kinda got in bed and passed out quickly while listening to music...#idk what I'll do today I'm a bit sore still and I'm v sick and tired rn so I'll probably just relax a bit...#let's make today nice and cozy and good... love u friends thank u for reading <3

tbh the thing that bothers me most about the prequels isn't so much that they exist (though it does baffle me, some of them are pretty good tho) but that the music doesn't match the actual game's at all. like. sequels consistently remix the original game's music. prequels don't do that at all. even for, like, fillbots, shoot-'em-up and micro-row, where the sequels' music is basically identical to the original's. none of the prequels have music that matches the actual game's. ,,, which actually makes sense given that prequel rhythm rally's music has test in it file name i'm pretty sure klsdfjfldksdfjdfsfs-

#speaking of dentists. lmao.#first of all i have a broken wisdom tooth that i’ve been putting off removing for 2 years now but i have all of them #tonight i was actually in an ok mood like it’s early i was gonna go to bed early and just relax #but i was like hm maybe i want to trying doing something new with my hair so i was fucking around with that and listening to music #and just being fine! like contentness which is v rare. anyway i was like ok i’m gonna start taking better care of my teeth #so back to wisdom teeth the one on my bottom right didn’t fully come out so it gets like plaque on it so i got a small child toothbrush #to really get in there and brush it yeah tmi i guess but in front of that wisdom tooth i have a temprorary filling #from 1 year ago bc this one dumbass dentist i went to well actually i went there as a kid but she’s terrible but i needed a filling fast so #i went there last year. anyway she put a temp in and said ok come back in 6 months and i didn’t because i wasnt gonna go to her anymore #and i couldn’t go to my good dentist bc he told me to remove my wisdoms and i didn’t lmao. anyway long story short i was brushing that #wisdom bitch really good and a chunk of my temp filling tooth broke off. not the filling of course but my real tooth and i’m like ok.#so god isnt real for real then. like. the reason i put all this fucking shit off is bc i don’t have money and now i fucking have to go fix #it so i’m 100% fucked i’ll never move out from my abusive gr*ndmothers house and i’m just completely fucked i’m so upset.#anyway hope i die in my sleep tonight #*temporary. if i die tonight i don’t want u guys thinking i can’t spell temporary i’m just fucking upset #it’s literally gonna be thousands isnt it like. i don’t even fucking know if they CAN fix it and who has thousands of dollars not fucking me #idk i have literally no idea what i’m supposed to do now
