A few facts to consider:

Zonai are canonically said to have been considered gods when they first descended from the skies

In Zelda lore there are 3 golden goddesses said to have descended from the heavens, created the world, then disappeared

the problem with me is I really really love RPGs but I've only ever played like five that have actually been what I'm looking for (KotOR 1 & 2, DA:O, F:NV, and BG3). I keep trying new ones hoping I'll find more that match up, but they're all Just Okay (Outer Worlds), bad (Fallout 3), or just not what I'm after (my brief attempt at playing DA:2).

anyway after playing and enjoying BG3 so much, I bought the Divinity: Original Sin games and tried to play D:OS2. got bored after barely getting past the tutorial in my first attempt and went back and replayed BG3 instead. tried again after finishing that playthrough, got a little further and then got bored again. bought BG1 and tried to play that. accidentally shot a magic missile at one of the first guys I spoke to and killed him. pandemonium in the streets. quickly closed the game, still haven't gone back to it.

just bought Planescape Torment and started playing that. will this time be different? we'll see 👍

Hello again, fellas. (And to whoever is actually interested in looking at my weird little AU-) Sanctuary has been on my mind lately and uhhh, I’d like to introduce you to some new characters!

Meet the Eventide Duo: REI and KAI!

I, like with Aster and Del, have never drawn them before, and because I honestly didn’t have it in me to do two full-body drawings with color and everything, doodling them was the next best thing. I’ve been thinking about these two a lot and just really wanted to get them down as a start. Soooo—this is their first pass and things are subject to change! (Please excuse the messiness-)

Rei (the Red) and Kai (the Blue) come from—okay this is kinda funny now that I’m writing it out—their AU was inspired by an FNF fan song that I heard awhile back. It was something like “Frostbite but Blue.” The person who made the song (I don’t remember their name off the top of my head) said they were going to post the lore, but as far as I know they never did, so my brain kinda took the concept and ran with it—making it into my own story. (Sorry to whoever that was-)

Rei is the fledgling god of the Sun and the Second Coming of Arceus. He ascended to godhood after his untimely death, returning to earth to protect the one he loves. Rei may look like a massive grump, but in reality, he's a ray of sunshine and one of the most warm-hearted and protective people you'll ever meet. Kai is still a Pokémon Trainer, but he’s also Rei's singular devotee. He's honestly pretty quiet for a Blue, if not a bit high-strung, but he's loyal and sweet, even if he has a bit of a hard time showing it.

The both of them worked together to survive the violent floods and rainfall that devastated their original home, and now live a quiet life together in Sanctuary, going on little adventures here and there to try and reclaim the life they lost bit by bit.

(Okay, time to tag my one fan. @100nebulas , I think you said you wanted more Sanctuary content in general that one time, so I guess you’re gonna be eternally tagged in these lmao. Hope you enjoy :])

Not even done, re-written 5 different scenes, haven't done a re-read over half of it. I'm so deep in the trenches with this one there is so much baked in here... I hope you guys like a million random scenes that don't *have* to exist, but do.

Tree hugger: Sona Art

The tree head is a Sequoia Senpervirens aka a Coastal Redwood.

Fun facts about Coastal Redwoods under cut

This species of trees are the tallest trees in the world and can get up to 380 feet tall and can get up to 30 feet wide around.

Many were cut down for lumber and because of just how long it takes for them to live and grow (around 1,200 to 2,200 years) most are now preserved in national parks and forests and they currently have a endangered conservation status.

This sona is based off the Sequoia Senpervirens but in the same Sequoioideae subfamily in californa is the Sequoiadendron giganteum aka the Giant Sequoia and these are related to Metasequoia glyptostroboides which grows in China.

Fun fact I’ve lived around both Coastal Redwoods and Giant Sequoias but currently I go out to hike in Coastal Redwoods every weekend, but Sequoia national forest (home to most of the still living Giant Sequoias) is where I spent a lot of my childhood

The before and after of the wig stuff

I teased it going from the base to the end of the hair and then I straightend it with my sisters old hair straightener from 2012 or something. Then some hairspray and brushing it out until it was smooth and fluffy!! Baby powder was also utilised.

Sam Scar Timeline

These are all of Sam's faces during their story (Up until post-canon)! (aka: Everything I have thought about until this point KLGFDSLKJG)

Descriptions below the cut!

This was them in bootcamp/when they graduated out! Not exactly before the chimera transmutation but between the ages of 17-24-ish!

This was around 1-2 years after their transmutation! The scar across their nose was actually a scar the bear had and it remained on Sam's human form! This was also the beginning of the Ishvalan War!

Their eye scar was after they were at Briggs for a couple months! (I will tell a bit more about that story later 0,0)

This was right before the promise day- around the time Olivier killed Raven and was sent back to Central!

The scar on Sam's nose is fading during the promise day since one, it's been awhile since the bear/they got it, and two, they are slowly becoming one with the bear and the scars of their past are slowly fading! However they have to be cool and have a scar still so they got one on the side of their face due to some confrontation 0,0

As you can see they are getting older/more tired of this shit but they are somewhat free from the burden of the military's secrets! They still have a cool scar to prove them fought hard and long on the Promise Day!

There is a lot of things that I still have to smooth out and debating what's canon in their lore - but also I am going to post more about their story so I don't want to explain too much here just because this is more of a basic timeline for their design!
