Sometimes, being a demon has its perks. And Crowley's not above using one or two of them to impress his angel.

I was going to work on something else yesterday, but this comic idea popped into my mind and refused to loosen its hold until I'd drawn it. Ignore my slipshod historical research on the clothing, the joke was a bigger priority than the visuals and I needed a time period where candles were still in regular use.

So it’s come to my attention that Mary probably won’t be in S2 which, bummer.

But I hope she can at least have some passing good mention, or some indication that she and Stede are on speaking terms.

First of all, no matter what they think of each other, they still have kids, and I would hope that Stede would want to be at the very least aware of what was going on in their lives, even if he isn’t really their father figure anymore.

But I also think that Mary and Stede could be really good friends regardless, especially since that pressure of being in a marriage that neither of them wanted and neither of them enjoyed is gone. You can see a glimpse of that camaraderie toward the end of episode ten (the conversation about love, and the whole faking his death thing.)

She could easily send him letters using some sort of pseudonym or another form of don’t-reveal-my-ex-husband-isn’t-actually-dead deception. They could gossip together.

I just think they could have a really strong bond when there are no expectations put on them.

European cities scare me. You’re telling me you guys just have like… underground tunnels full of dead bodies that are hundreds of years old? What if you step on the wrong brick on the sidewalk and get cursed by an ancient spirit from 1312. Like I was researching Salzburg for a German project and you’re telling me that place was founded IN 696?!?!?? NO! Idk if it’s just my small American brain that can’t comprehend this but the city where I live was founded in 1846 (which mind you is pretty old in comparison to other North American cities) and I thought that that was old. How do you guys make sure you don’t destroy any historical sites? How do you make sure you don’t actually dig up a body?

oh man thats really funny because I read Jekyll and Hyde for the first time like last week too??? wonderful story and wow what a compliment thank you.. I’m decently inspired by like those vintage drawings of the original acd sherlock by Sidney Padget and couldnt help to imagine the story in that sort of style as well
