You think The Fall Guy writers gave Tom the surname Ryder because if it wasn’t for riding on the back of Colt’s skills and talents, he wouldn’t be considered a great “action star”?

Which is a larger metaphor for the fact that if it’s not for the incredible efforts of the amazing stunt community, the action genre would in fact not exist and our favorites wouldn’t be good “action stars” otherwise.

Not to say all actors are like Tom Ryder, of course, but still.
