It's @archeronsistersweekofficial so what better time to share the Barbie dolls I made of each sister!

(Some people have Funko pop toys on their bookshelves. Some of us thrift, restore, sew, and craft Barbie dolls into their fave characters for their bookshelves)

I don't have many fancy leather-bound books so it's my way of dressing up an otherwise basic-looking row of paperback books.

They're posing with some of their accessories - Nesta with the Dread Trove, Elain with a plant/flowers, Feyre with a bow (very kindly borrowed from the Legolas doll for the photoshoot) and crown.

I also made Nesta some books, Elain some baking treats, and Feyre has a mini portrait of the Suriel and a paint palette.

This is all a nice break from real life duties, which have been all too intense these last few weeks. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to look like it will ease up anytime soon, so maybe they'll get more doll friends to chill with on the shelf.

Hc that by Illyrian standards Azriel is considered unattractive.

Illyrians are a more practical group, they’re strong and have traditions they want to follow. They live in cold mountains in camps. Strength and endurance is a top quality, and while Azriel embodies this— He doesn’t look it.

Illyrians want someone whose body reflects their strength. Huge arms, wide wings, tall and bearing tokens of war (scars but not too many scars because that then signifies defeat). Azriel is trained for reconnaissance. His job is to be unnoticeable, being a huge hulking figure doesn’t make that easy. He’s tall and large yes, but he’s not that ideal Illyrian man. Hes just slimmer that average and plays sneaky. Not the big bold way that they believe is honorable. So by the cultures standards, he’s not attractive.

Cassian and Rhys both know this, that their sworn brother is considered “unattractive” by their peers. They never really think about it because that’s their brother, you don’t go around agreeing that your partner in crime is ugly. (Also because he could totally kick their asses and hey you don’t call the guy who is covered in conscious shadows ugly)

It becomes irrelevant as azriel ends up sticking to his job and doesn’t have to often interact with large groups of Illyrians (that gets to be Cassians job).

On the flip side, other groups of fae need that man CARNALLY. What makes him unideal in Illyrian standards makes him the perfect man in theirs. Strong beyond what they could achieve, skilled, quick witted and mysterious—he’s a 10/10.

Rhys learns about this after Azriel makes a rare appearance at a large event to let Rhys know about a new development in one of his missions, the crowd immediately hones in on this hunk of a man. Later, Rhys has to deflect multiple offers of marriage from court nobles.

Give me the friendship with the Wraths. Give me more Nuala & Cerridwen, I cannot wait to meet them and get to know them from her point of view.

Give me the memory of what Cauldron gave her. Of how it gave it to her. And what it took back in return.

Give me Elain exploring her powers, give me her diving into her mind deeper and deeper to learn how to understand her visions. Give me her discovering there is more within her. That Cauldron blessed her with much more than so many realize.

Give me her using that gorgeous smile of her to bring people to their knees. Give me them realising they should fear her. Give me them realising that simultaneously they love her.

Give me her femininity, give me her delicacy, give me her dreams and strength, give me all of her kindness but also give me her rage. Let it all emerge from her. Give me her despair, her being torn, give me a look into her heart, into her feelings. I wanna see all of them. Give me her tears that are never a sign of weakness. Give me her joy. Give me her mourning. Give me the story that lies behind her change. Give me everything she still needs to heal within herself and give me her doing that.

Give me the lovely, doe-eyed fawn with sharp teeth. Give me the quiet dreamer, give me the one who sees, give me the witty jokes & the everlasting love for her sisters.

Just give me Elain Archeron, Kingslayer & the Cauldron Made Seer.

I think it's important to him that he doesn't feel isolated from my hobby, even if he is confounded by the interest I pay to steamy fearie books. So he likes that you guys ask about him and he likes helping me workshop fics because it helps him feel included.

Even if sometimes I do tab over to the group chat and accidentally expose him to Tamlin's penis 😂

Three “brothers” and three “sisters” is still a possibility if you don’t get hung up on the technicalities and embrace twists.

The Valkyries are also “sisters.” They’re shield/found sisters, just as the brothers are shield/found brothers.

Cassian also refers to Mor as his “sister.”

We could end up with Nesta x Cassian, Azriel x Gwyn, and Mor x Emerie.

Obviously Mor and Emerie are not male, but they could still fit that 3 x 3 role.

I’m obviously not saying this will happen, but it’s a different way to look at it.

SJM thought Lucien might be with Nesta until she realized they'd be a poor match.

SJM went on to mate Elain and Lucien after she told us how Elain is someone that took both she and Lucien by surprise.

3 brothers and 3 sisters as endgame didn't seem to be a real possibility in her mind and she used Rhys to relay that exact thing in the Az pov, when Rhys called him out for how ridiculous his reasoning was.

You know what was clearly her intent though? When she made sure Lucien always ended up mated to an Archeron?

That Lucien would always end up as Feyre's brother in-law. Something further supported when she spoke of the crazy friendship chemistry they had in interviews. Friends that are family are a common theme in SJMs writing and there's no better way to ensure that Lucien stays in Feyre's life than he and Elain ending up happily mated.
