“She looked to Brann, whose eyes glowed with inner fire. Fearless—reckless. A natural leader. She’d seen that look on his face before, even as a baby.”
“Her dark-haired son lifted his head, and—Pure power glimmered in his eyes. She’d seen that look on his face before, too—long, long ago. The thoughtful, quiet stone to Brann’s wildfire.”
“They’re like the sun and moon, then,” she said quietly.

If I had a nickel every time a set of twins was conceived during a mysterious and anonymous fertility rite I'd have two nickles.
Which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it happened twice.

Sunball Sunday
Ruhn x Lidia
A/n: To kick off Ruhn week Ruhn treats his new family to a Sunball game outing. @ruhnweek
Warnings: !Major CC3 spoilers!
Tumblr media
“Come on guys, we’re going to be late!” Lidia yells, already standing by the front door ready to go. She had been ready for over thirty minutes now. Males, she groans loud enough in her mind for Ruhn to hear. “I’ll be out a minute I swear.” Her mate responds mentally.
Brann ran from his bedroom right into Ruhn and Lidia’s. The shifter throws her head back in annoyance. Why can’t they just be ready on time? Ace emerges from the room he shares with his twin, dressed in a Crescent City Sunball shirt along with a matching hat. “Thank you, for being the only one ready.” He gives his mother a small smile going to stand next to her.
After five more impatient minutes Ruhn and Brann are finally ready to leave. Without words Lidia ushered her boys out the door and down to the black car waiting for them. The ride over to the stadium was the happiest Lidia had ever been. Yes, she had been ecstatic when her and Ruhn got engaged, and seeing her boys again. But this happiness was something else. Watching Ruhn and her boys talk animatedly about Sunball and just getting along in general is everything.
Pulling up to the back entrance of the stadium Ruhn noticed Lidia staring, returning her loving gaze. “What’s that look for?” He asked mind-to-mind, not wanting to interrupt the Ace and Brann’s conversation about player statistics. “Nothing, I’m just happy. Today’s going to be a good day.” The smile evident even in her minds voice.
Once the car stops the twins are the first to jump out, full of excitement to get to the private box they’ll be sharing with the rest of the family. Today was their first time going to a game which, according to Ace, is much better than watching it under water.
“You must be the Danaan-Cervos family,” a woman dressed in a stylish suit says brightly. Ruhn and Lidia were both taken aback by the words. Never hearing their last names and ‘family’ together before. They look at each other, feeling more alive than ever at the peace they’ve found in each other. Ruhn opened his mouth to answer, only to be beat by Brann, “Yup, are you showing us to our seats?”
Lidia put a hand to her mouth to stop the sob creeping up her throat. Family. They are a family. Ruhn puts an arm around her, pulling Lidia into his side. Pressing a kiss to her temple for good measure.
“Yup, right this way.” The woman’s smile never faltering as the boys followed and bombarded her with questions about the team. Walking through the stadium Lidia watched her boys take in the busy stadium, in awe at the merch and food stands.
“Can we, mom?” Ace asked, breaking Lidia from her trance. Both boys look up at her and Ruhn with hopeful faces. Looking at Ruhn for help he smirks at her. “New shirts before or after the game.” He says nonchalantly filling Lidia in on the conversation she had tuned out. Looking back down at her boys she squints, pretending to think. “I say now.” The twins cheer and follow the guide into the shop.
After spending twenty minutes raiding the gift shop the Danaan-Cervos family made it to their private suite. The guide opened the door for them, revealing Bryce & Hunt, Flynn & Dec with Mark. Ithan and Perry seated in front talking with Sathia and Tharion, drinks already in hand.
Bryce lights up (literally and figuratively) at the sight of them. They rush to hug her and Hunt, who point out all the food and sodas they can gorge themselves on. Dropping their merch bags they head over to make a plate.
“Took you guys long enough,” Flynn teases, “I can’t believe I was here before you, never mind Bryce and Hunt.” Bryce elbows the lordling in the ribs, giving him a smirk at the wince of pain he lets out. “They already look like they’re having the time of their life.” Bryce says with a smile as she stared at the boys piling chicken tenders and pizza on their plates. “Yeah,” Lidia nods. “Thank you again for this. They are so happy to be here.”
The music blaring from the field announcing one minute until game time. Everyone goes to take their seats, watching as the teams run out on the field from the tunnels.
As the game went on Ruhn found himself watching Lidia and the boys more than the Sunball players on the field. Any chance he could Ruhn snapped pictures of the three of them. Selfies of them during time outs and with Aunt Bryce and Uncle Hunt. Dec even took pictures of them, seeing how important this moment is to Ruhn.
By the boys’s next weekend visit Ruhn had a few of the pictures printed and framed for the apartment. One for the living room, Ruhn and Lidia’s bedroom, and one of the boys meeting their favorite player in their room. Placing the last frame of their little family on the wall Ruhn stood back admiring the picture.
Lidia came up behind him, wrapping her arms around his middle as she stared at the picture. Perfect. It was all Lidia could think. It was perfect.

Camping Trip
Tumblr media
For @ruhnweek day 1: family
Summary: Ruhn spends the weekend with Ace and Brann while Lidia is out of town.
Tumblr media
“How are we supposed to know what to do around here?” Ace grumbled from behind his phone. Ruhn refrained from rolling his eyes at the teenager’s attitude - he’d dealt with worse from Bryce when she was younger.
Instead, Ruhn watched as Ace’s lips thinned, eyes softening as through the conversation had struck a nerve. Turning to where Brann slouched on the opposite end of the sofa, golden eyes shifting to meet his with a noncommittal shrug.
Running a hand through onyx locks, Ruhn sighed. “That’s valid, Ace. I shouldn’t expect you guys to know what to do in Lunathion. But we’re not going to sit on our asses all weekend while your mom is gone, so if there’s anything either of you want to do or see, now’s the time to tell me.”
The twins exchanged a look, silent communication passing between the two of them. This time is was Brann who gave a shrug, Ace clearing his throat. “Well, we’ve seen the city... But Brann and I never really got to spend time outside, like above water, you know?”
Ruhn’s face spread into a grin, hands sliding into the pockets of his jeans as the plan came to him. “Alright, get up then,” he jerked his chin at the boys. “Grab your bags and get ready to leave.”
“To go where?” Ace questioned, face finally peering fully over his phone for the first time since he’d arrived.
Calling out over his shoulder, Ruhn strode towards his own room to pack. “We’re going camping.”
Twenty minutes later, the car was packed up and a map was handed to Ace. “You’re our navigator since my phone’ll lose signal up in the mountains,” Ruhn said, turning to Brann. “And you’ll be in charge of music. Let’s go.”
Making it to the campsite in record time, Ruhn couldn’t help but be proud of Ace’s directions - the teenager was even more detail-oriented than Declan. They unpacked the car, both boys complaining when Ruhn insisted that they help set up the tent, but their expressions had lightened during the car ride.
Ruhn tried to keep his face neutral, not letting Ace or Brann see him noticing how they marveled at the large pine trees or the sun reflecting off the lake. “Come on, let’s go for a swim,” Ruhn suggested as he watched Brann take a picture of the lake. “I’ve got a specific spot to show you.”
After a short hike up a winding path, the three males arrived at a cliff. Large trees parted on either side, the earth dropping off so suddenly that if you looked up, it seemed as though you might be flying over the waters.
Ruhn stepped right up to the ledge before turning to look at the twins, violet eyes shimmering with mischief in the afternoon sun. “My friends and I had a tradition here. At the start of each year of college, we’d take a camping trip out here. And everyone - including the new guys - would jump off this cliff into the water.”
He couldn’t help but smirk at the slightly alarmed expression Brann held, Ace’s gaze unfaltering in a silent challenge - a challenge that Ruhn was happy to take. “See you down there,” Ruhn called with a mocking wave before running over the edge.
The cool water crashed around him, stealing the breath from his lungs as he plunged deep beneath the surface before feeling his weight slowly rise back up. Breaking back through, Ruhn gasped for air, wiping black hair from his eyes only to feel water splash across his face again, and again.
Finally able to see, he found the sources of each splash on either side of him, Ace and Brann both wearing cocky grins that showed how proud they were of taking the dare. “Nice. It took Flynn a lot longer to get the courage for that jump,” Ruhn commented casually before swimming back toward shore and the campsite.
They dried off at the tent, the sun setting low in the sky when Ruhn pulled out the cooler with ingredients for hot dogs and s’mores. Brann helped gather wood while Ace set up the food and plates, and Ruhn showed them how to make s’mores, chuckling at how well-received the new dessert was by them.
The weekend went by too quickly, so much so that feet were dragging and smiles fading by the time they needed to pack up the car. The drive was quiet and peaceful back to Lunathion, where Lidia waited for them back at home.
Ruhn sucked in a breath at her beauty, those golden eyes trained on him as she smirked. Dropping his bags, he strode to where she stood and pulled her in for a kiss, ignoring the groans from the teenagers behind them as he did so.
“I missed you,” he murmured.
“You smell like lake water,” Lidia grinned back, laughing before she pulled him in for another chaste kiss. “And I missed you.”
“You all smell like the lake,” Lidia teased, nose scrunching up as she pulled Ace and Brann in for hugs. “What, you couldn’t get out of the water for just a weekend?”
Ace rolled his eyes, shimmering golden like his mother’s as he voiced his protest. “We were out of the water plenty. We went kayaking, hiking, made s’mores...”
Brann slipped his bag from his shoulder, pulling out his phone to show her the pictures he’d taken. “There were so many of these pine trees - it was incredible,” he explained, absentmindedly taking a seat with Lidia next to him.
“Oh, show her the picture we took up by the cliff,” Ace interjected, leaning on the edge of the sofa. Ruhn smiled, full of admiration and love as he watched his family. Listening to their excited voices as the twins told their mom about the weekend, Ruhn turned to get the rest of the camping gear from the car when a voice stopped him.
“Hey, Ruhn,” Ace said, the most reserved Ruhn had seen him yet. “Thanks for this weekend.”
Giving a quick nod, Ruhn didn’t let them see before he stepped out the door, tears lining his eyes with joy as he thought back to the days when he lived with the Autumn King. He’d never imagined living a life as fulfilling as this - one with hope, excitement for the future, and true family.

My prediction about the next four books SJM will publish
I wanted to get this down somewhere, in part to process my angst about the possibility of what may come last in this next cluster of book releases 😫 but also to record the plot and character threads I am seeing as important heading into the next stretch of books SJM will release.
This includes HOFAS, ACOTAR, and TOG spoilers so it's after the break.
DISCLAIMER: These are just my guesses based on various interviews SJM has given both before and after the HOFAS release — THE ONLY SERIES BOOK THAT'S CONFIRMED IN THIS LIST IS ACOTAR5 BEING NEXT, and with that one, the main characters and plot threads I'll mention have also not yet been confirmed (beyond an avalanche of textual evidence 👀)
So, here are my predictions, circa 1.5 weeks after HOFAS was released:
➡️NEXT: ACOTAR5 - Az/Gwyn + Nesta and the Valkyries (which should also include Mor, ideally in a shared storyline with Emerie), Illyria / Ramiel / the Prison (and maybe a return of the pegasuses to Prythian), Gwydion and Truth Teller (not to mention the other two Made blades Nesta forged in ACOSF - also will Narben make an appearance? 👀), and I also think the first part of the Autumn Court drama may be told in this book - the truth about what happened between Mor and Eris, Beron's ongoing treachery, and Beron may die in this book making Eris High Lord (though some of these items may also be in ACOTAR6 instead - I do think the Mor and Eris story needs to come out in ACOTAR5 though, for Az to make peace with his 500 years of pining for her)
➡️FOLLOWED BY: A Throne of Glass crossover book - Shifter Fae + humans, more history and context about when the ancient Erilea Fae world-jumped to Midgard and served the Asteri, a story that creates threads and connections (of some kind, no idea how, and not sure which ToG characters it would entail) to Lidia (deer shifter with fire magic a la Aelin), Tharion (and the Mer as a people - ToG stans, remind me, were there mer in the ToG series at all? I'm pretty sure Rigelus says they hailed from the same world as the wolves and other Midgard shifters - I've read ToG in full but not as closely as ACOTAR and CC), and Ithan (wolf shifter with ice magic a la Dorian)
➡️THEN I AM THINKING: CC4: House of Many Waters - This would be the continuation of the story threads SJM did not resolve or finish by the end of HOFAS: Lidia's "service" to the Ocean Queen (and more RuhnLidia story with Brann and Ace 😍), Tharion/Sathia with Flynn and their earth magic / Avallen and the pegasuses, Ithan as the new Prime of the Wolves (and something with Perry - why did the antidote fade for her so fast?), Firstlight Zero, widespread distribution of the antidote, Ariadne (where did she go??!), and maybe more portal hopping to Prythian for Bryce, Hunt, Ember, and Randall (OH and maybe Ruhn here too, to get him in the same room as Rhys 👀) to further develop the cross-world friendships we saw forming in HOFAS
➡️WHICH MEANS FOURTH IN SJM'S AIRPLANE TAXI LINE WOULD BE (SOBS): ACOTAR6 - Elain/Lucien, Band of Exiles, Firebird retelling, Koschei, the mortal queens, and the conclusion of the big magical conflict that began with the finding of the Dread Trove in ACOSF, not to mention the Archeron sisters finally acknowledging and healing all of their familial baggage that was born from their collective and generational hardships from their time as humans (so Elain also coming to terms with her Seer powers and being Fae / no longer human - also answering the question: What happened when Elain went into the Cauldron?), I also think some of the Autumn Court drama would play out in this story Helion/Lady Autumn and Lucien's heritage (Day Court heir?), as well as more information about Papa Archeron from the time period of ACOWAR when Lucien traveled with him (LOTS of processing complex and problematic parents in this one!)
Again, these are JUST MY IDEAS - the ToG book guess is based on SJM saying after ACOTAR5 she's excited about the world her next book will be in which she implied was not the CC or ACOTAR world, and which will be emotional for her because of "who may pop up" - if that doesn't scream a return to her to the ToG universe then I don't know what would.
Then the 3rd and 4th predictions follow from that 2nd one being ToG and what I think she may focus on in it to add layers to her crossover - which seems like something she would want to do after how much work she's put into it so far.
I think there's a stronger and deeper fanbase for ACOTAR6 than there will be for CC4, so I think that could impact a decision to write and release CC4 first (since us ACOTAR stans would wait decades for the conclusion of that story and still buy a bazillion copies of it).
WHICH MEANS (SOBS), if these books are released one every 1.5 years on average... It may be quite a few years until we get our Elucien book 😭 ACOMAF came out in 2016. It would be PAST 2026 when ACOTAR6 gets released, over 10 years, until we get to see what actually comes of Elain's and Lucien's mating bond, if the above winds up bring true.
I swear, Eluciens are going to get the trophy for longest wait to see these two in their endgame, bless our patient souls 🏆
(There is always a chance the last two in the list will be in reverse order, with ACOTAR6 followed by CC4, but even if that winds up being the case, it would still be three books from now for ACOTAR6.)

CC Beach Trip (Contains some spoilers for HOFAS)
Hunt: Driving there and back because he doesn't trust anyone else not to crash and kill them all. If Isaiah is coming along he's probably been squished into the back with Ithan despite Hunt trying to get him a better seat.
Bryce: Passenger princess extraordinaire. Neck pillow, feet up on the dash (totally ignoring Hunt who has repeatedly told her to sit properly), hoarding the aux cord because her friends need to be educated about good music.
Tharion: Gave Sathia his headphones once Bryce got ahold of the aux cord. He is using the cooler as a car seat because they were one short and it seemed fun. Once they arrive he spends most of his time chilling on the beach. Until Sathia asks if they can go swimming and then he gets into the water with her, ending with her just attaching herself to his back while he swims around. (He's got a tail in the water so it's cool and fast af)
Sathia: Taking pictures of just about everything. Spent 3 hours the night before making sure her hair dye wouldn't get wrecked by the saltwater and another 2 debating which swimsuit was best. She has a timer set to remind people to refresh their sunscreen and the only one that doesn't listen (Ithan) gets no sympathy when they wake up with wicked sunburns the next day.
Ithan: Fully passed out in the backseat. but once they arrive he's the one who ends up carrying everyone's stuff around. He didn't bring much with him but by the time everyone's ready to leave he's got five bags and several hats and loose sunscreen bottles and wallets. Sathia keeps telling him to put on more sunscreen but he insists he's fine because his sunscreen is really strong and the bottle says it lasts for hours.
Ruhn: Got a different car so he and Lidia could drive with the boys. He has a trunk full of beach game equipment that no one ends up actually using because the boy just want to hang out and swim, and Lidia doesn't know the rules to most of them. (She's willing to learn but most of them require more than 2 players anyway) He spends most of his time keeping Lidia calm and keeping an eye on Ace and Brann.
Lidia: She is trying so hard to not panic any time she loses sight of someone or if someone looks like they're not having a good time. This woman is not built for relaxing but she's trying so damn hard. She wants this to go well so bad, she is willing to sit through every single game rulebook if it means improving the mood. She By the end of the day she's so stressed out and exhausted that she knocks out in the passenger seat of the car and the next morning she is not so subtly probing Ace, Brann, and Ruhn about if they liked the trip or not.

There’s not enough Ruhnlidia content out there IMO, so I wrote this married Ruhnlidia pregnancy snippet. This takes place several years after the end of HOFAS. I am too lazy to save this for @ruhndanaanweek2024 so here it is!
Lidia vacuumed the floor, observing as her husband worked overtime, preparing everything in the kitchen for Ace and Brann to come home from college.
It was their first time visiting from CCU, and Lidia couldn’t wait to see them again. Although this was a shorter and voluntary separation due to their need to study, Lidia couldn’t help but recall the years she had been forced to be the Hind, not knowing the fate of her sons.
She had admittedly bawled the first several nights after they had left. Ruhn had not questioned it, merely pulling her into his arms and holding her tightly. Her husband, her mate, who had got her through this separation, who had taken on two teenage boys simply because they were hers, and loved them as his own.
Even Ace had warmed up to him, before he’d warmed up to herself. Ruhn had some kind of secret bro handshake with each of her sons, and Ruhn always made sure to give each boy special attention when they visited; he’d play sunball with Brann while he’d help Ace test out his helmets and wings and whatever things he decided to build.
Lidia had quickly learned sunball so that she could compete with Ruhn and play with her sons. She had to admit that it was fun to have a normal life, and she loved her boys and her mate and drinking beers and just chatting with him at night, or cuddling by the fire, or the four of them going out and having dinner together.
Lidia smiled as Ruhn lowered a frozen rat for their snake to eat. When Ace had brought home the snake initially, Ruhn had gone pale and insisted Ace put it back where it was. Lidia, who had just repaired her relationship with him and was not willing to mess it up so fast, had taken the snake in her arms and ordered Ruhn to buy a tank.
He’d obeyed; he was never very good at refusing her. He’d returned with loads of snake food packages called “Snakky packies” as well as some frozen rats and a heated lamp which Lidia set up before feeding the snake. Ruhn had cringed the first time she’d fed him. Now, he did it regularly.
Lidia was exceptionally nervous because she had some special news this time. She’d put a small shield over herself so no one could detect anything amiss; she wanted to be able to reveal this information in her own way. She hadn’t had much time to process it, so she didn’t know how to feel about it. She didn’t know how Ruhn would feel about it either. Or Ace and Brann.
She did want another child; she loved her boys, but unfortunately, she missed out on most of their childhood. She had tried to do right by them as much as possible, but now her boys had all grown up, and she missed the sound of child’s laughter in the house. She just hadn’t expected it to happen so soon, and she was nervous about how her family would react.
God, she had a family now. She had been alone for so long that it was difficult to come to terms with. Her heart had never been more full.
There was a ring of the doorbell, and Lidia rushed over to open it and she barreled into her sons. “Ace! Brann!” she cried, and they hugged her back warmly. “Ma!” Ace grumbled. “You’re smothering us!”
“Oh, you’re big boys now, you can handle it,” Lidia retorted. Ruhn chuckled as he came into view too. “How’s college been, you two?” he asked. Brann grinned. “I made the sunball team! Ace is on the robotics team! It’s been awesome!”
“Sweet! Forward, right?”
“Yes. Our first game is next weekend. You have to come!”
“I’ll mark it on my calendar, bud,” Ruhn said. “What about you, Ace? Any events I should take note of?”
“Well, I have a robotics meet next month on the second and I am applying for a research position; there’s a symposium next Thursday.”
“Cool! I can help you narrow down your options and fix your resume before the big day,” Ruhn offered. “Sure, thanks,” Ace replied. Not much of a talker, but Lidia could tell he appreciated the offer. Smiling, Lidia lounged on the couch, flicking in the TV and flipping through the channels.
She finally found Knowledge is Money was on, and she watched the three competitors standing in a triangular formation, their hands hovering over buttons to buzz for an answer.
“Who is the first known queen of the Sprites?” the host asked.
Ace came to sit beside her. “Easy. Ranthia Drahl.”
Lidia chuckled. “Technically, no. The sprites traditionally were ruled by theocracy until Cynthia Drahl, armies led by her niece Ranthia, destroyed the corrupt religious leaders who took advantage of the poor. However, nobody remembers her because she was killed two days into her reign by none other than Ranthia herself.”
A redheaded pixie on the far right of the screen finally buzzed in. “My final answer is Cynthia Drahl.”
“That is correct,” the host answered. Lidia smirked at her son.
“Who is the sunball player with the most points of all time?” the host asked.
Lidia groaned. “Shit, I hate when they ask sports related questions.”
“The answer is obviously Viktor Kapournikov,” Brann boomed from the kitchen. A few moments later, the boy at the bottom of the screen buzzed and said, “My final answer is Viktor Kapournikov.”
“High five!” Ruhn said, and the smack of their hands rung in Lidia’s ears. A few moments later, they came to the sofa with food in their hands. Ruhn and Brann each carried two; Ruhn handed one to Lidia while Brann handed one to Ace.
“What event caused the Valbaran Fae and Avellan Fae to become rivals?”
“The Melanthos shooting of 2,000,” Ruhn and Ace said at the same time. “Damnit, you two are quick,” Lidia muttered. “Sadly, my father made sure this shit was drilled into my head since I was a boy so that I didn’t make the mistake of befriending a kid from Avellan,” Ruhn said.
“Freak,” Brann muttered. Ruhn and Lidia nodded in agreement.
And so they ate and shouted answers at the TV and generally had a merry time. When the entertainment died down and they were all pleasantly sleepy, Lidia cleared her throat and said, “I have big news for you all.”
Ruhn pulled Lidia into his lap sleepily, mumbling against her, “Yes, sweetheart?”
Lidia didn’t know how else to say it, so she just said, “I’m pregnant.”
“What?” Brann asked. “Ma is pregnant, Brann!” Ace yelled back. Ruhn just stared at Lidia with his beautiful blue eyes, awe in them. “Truly? But I don’t smell any-“
Lidia removed the glamour. As the scent of the embryo filled the air, the boys began to cheer while tears filled Ruhn’s eyes. Ahhh, her sweet, adorable, emotional Ruhn. After decades of being forced to hide her emotions behind a mask of cold, there was nothing she adored more than seeing her mate overcome with affection and emotion for her.
“We’re going to have another baby?” Ruhn asked. Throat tight as tears filled her own eyes, she nodded. Ruhn pulled her to him. and Lidia held him so tightly it was a wonder she didn’t break a bone.
“She’s a girl,” Lidia murmured against his cheek. “Our little flame. I think we shall name her after your fire sprite friend.”
“Lehebah?” Ruhn croaked. Lidia’s shirt was a little moist from his tears. “Yes,” she whispered. “Lehebah.”
“I love it,” Ruhn whispered. “I love you. And I already love our Lele too.”
Lidia beamed. She felt so much better about this pregnancy. This time, she wouldn’t be alone. She had a family and friends to help her through this.
A baby girl.
Lidia pulled away slightly to cup Ruhn’s cheek. “I love you too. Lele is going to be so lucky to grow up with a father like you.”
“And a mother like you.”
Lidia chuckled and laid back against Ruhn. Neither of them noticed that Ace and Brann had subtly left the room, giving them time alone.

Post HoFaS headcannons
First things first, Ember and Randall become the honorary parents for the entire group. No one questions it. It's fact. They all know when they are in trouble as Ember has learnt everyone's middle names and will full name them when the fuck up.
Ithan starts a couple of wolf sunball teams. One that competes in competitions and really takes it seriously and one aimed a kiddos and is a lot of fun. His friends make up the hype group and go to all the matches.
Talking of Ithan...him and Perry become a thing. He asks her out on a date and the whole scene is hilarious as you have the Prime of the wolves getting flustered and awkward at asking this artist cinnamon roll out for a coffee.
Lidia comes to an arrangement with her son's and their dad's where they (the boys) visit their mum every other weekend, should the boys want to. Brann makes every visit unless something comes up, Ace make most but not all. Ruhn sometimes hangs out depending on when they are doing but also respects this is their time and often makes himself scarce. The boys invite Lidia and Ruhn to special occasions and Ruhn and Lidia will return the favor to the boys and their dad's.
Eventually the conversation around Ruhn and Lidia having kids comes up. Ruhn wants to be a Dad but is totally respectful of Lidia and what she feels comfortable with. Given what their own childhoods looked like, they decide on adoption. They end up with three kids; a female Fae, and male shifter and a witch.
Hunt takes his role as Bryce's secretary very serious, especially the office sex part. But, at her insisting, gets himself a hobby. She has started dancing again. Not on any professional level but it still feeds her dancers soul. Hunt joins an amateur sunball team, and cooks loads. He even gives some cooking lessons to kids as part of a "life skills course" Hypaxia has a lead on.
Of course they have children. Four in all, a boy and girl fae and a boy and girl Malakh. Bryce is just impressed she was able to push out not one but two winged children.
Bryce does go back to Prythian and she and Nesta become solid friends and find a way to communicate when they aren't in each other's world. Once Lunathion has its shit relatively together they invite Nesta and whoever else from the IC to come. It can't just be Bryce going to them all the time. Cass, bless him, losses his mind at all the stuff he realizes they don't have and the amount of questions he asks puts a toddler to shame. It's excessive.
Sathia helps Colin become free from the Viper Queen, divorces Tharion and marries Colin. Her father objects and her only response is to give him the middle finger as she walks away. Zero shits given.
Tharion and Adriane have some sort of understanding. They wouldn't say they were dating each other but no one sees them messing around with anyone else either. Read into that what you will.
Baxion never fully lives down the fact he freaked out over the numerous Pegasus he found. He thankfully has a sense of humor and after a lot of time sees the funny side.
He decides he enjoyed his work helping all the refugees and becomes a social worker of sorts. Helping people help themselves is what he says when people ask him what he does.

thinking about how lidia's children are the reason she has purpose in life, but ruhn is what brought her back to life –– in a very similar way to how bryce brought hunt back to life. and in particular thinking about how, some day way in the future, lidia cannot wait to have children with ruhn. a child born of fire and night and day and stars who will be raised by parents who would do anything for them. and how brann and ace could have a little sister, maybe, someone to take under their wing and bond with, someone to be protective over the way ruhn was with bryce.

Ok so Lidia has kids ?!
Hahaha good question
She has two! Twins named Brannon and Actaeon aka Brann and Ace. They are fourteen.
So fourteen years ago, Lidia's father called upon her to take part in a fertility rite. There, she spent the night from a male from another old, influential family (I'm not sure now if she knew who he was but he doesn't matter at all) and found out she was pregnant.
The Twins kinda were the turning point for her to switch sides officially and do the right thing. She surrendered to the rebels, begged them to take her to the Ocean and struck a deal with the Ocean Queen to act as a spy. She spent around a year and a half/two years with them and then had to go.
She pretended she was kidnapped by the rebels had been kept captive for these. Then Pollux confessed to her and that's how Agent Daybright came to be. The kids stayed at the city-ship and were adopted by a couple of tritons, who absolutely adore them! They grew up happy, loved, with cousins and grandparents — things Lidia never had and they would never have otherwise.
She loves them to pieces.
Brann is more of an outgoing, open, abrasive "archetype jock" as his fathers say and Ace is a genius who likes tinkering and rebuilding things but is the quieter, more closed off and hostile one to Lidia at first.
