Yeah, so Padmé didn’t start up the rebellion and met with her fellow senators because she didn’t trust Anakin, she did it because she didn’t trust Palpatine. The novel explains clearly how Padmé wanted to tell Anakin about it but was made to keep silent by Bail and Mon.

George Lucas in the one of the ROTS dvd commentary himself has described that scene as the Delegation of 2000 trying to form a opposition against Palpatine because they don’t trust HIM, and he also says that the scene was intended to show how Padmé was feeling uncomfortable with being told to keep it a secret because she hates having to lie to her husband. Her helping in kickstarting the rebellion has 0 to do with her trust in Anakin which I reiterate is unrelenting.

Yes, there were points where Padmé felt Anakin slipping like the scene with the Delegation of 2000 and Palpatine, and she knew she couldn’t exactly trust him in political terms because of his loyalty to Palpatine and belief in his reign, but she knew it was all happening at a time of Anakin’s weakest and most vulnerable moments. Where he’s emotionally unstable and having nightmares about his wife dying. The tragedy in ROTS is that these external factors came between Anakin and Padmé’s happily ever after. But regardless of all this, she never lost faith nor dimmed her hope in Anakin’s innate goodness. Her trust in him at the crux where it matters was complete and she literally died with those same words on her tongue.
