#Blood blossom au: currently the name for the time being. A Nightingale/First Batkid au where Vlad poisons Danny with blood blossom extract, and it results in Danny running to Batman! #tales of the passerine: the official au name for my "Danny being the first batkid" post! This au is what inspired changeling Danny. It's the idea that Danny was the first to be adopted by Bruce, and features me favoring batdad over "lmfao Danny goes fuck you bruce and adopts the other kids" au. Because I want batdad.

It's really long, so scroll down for the short version!

Earlier in the month, Tumblr wrongly terminated my previous blog at misoplays. It could come out as a funny accident if only it's (a) the first time this kind of termination happened to misoplays, and (b) Tumblr gracefully reinstate the blog again. I've waited for almost a month and sent two e-mails (they did say spamming e-mail would just push my request back on the queue) while keep trying to refresh the page every day, yet the result is the same "There's nothing here" page. That's that me depresso.

To elaborate further on point (a), the first time I decided to start a sims cooking blog, I created it under my OG e-mail address; the e-mail I used to apply for job etc. which also happened to be linked to my OG tumblr account. It's an old account that now acts like a Wayback Machine of memories for me, but as you know, if a blog is already linked to your e-mail, it will be your main blog, and any additional blog you create under that e-mail would act as side blogs. So, the OG misoplays started as a side blog. However, three posts in, the blog got wrongly terminated. I was sure I didn't break any rules, but maybe Tumblr thought my sudden activity in that ancient account was suspicious, which I could understand. So I sent a request to Tumblr, and the blog was reinstated in under two weeks. The blog first looked like this:

Understandably no one liked or reblogged me, and it was totally okay -- because once again, I just started and posted my first three posts.

When the OG misoplays blog was under, I created a new Tumblr account under my other e-mail address, this time the blog becomes my main blog. The username was misomain, because misoplays was unavailable (apparently, you can't use a username from a suspended/terminated blog) at that time. Misomain was a puny name, because 'main' means "a principal of others in the same kind" in English, but it also translates to "to play" in Indonesian. I quite like misomain, but I went back to misoplays the moment Tumblr reinstated that blog.

The blog you might be familiar with looked more or less like this, of course without the silly Squidward booty profile picture 🤣

Everything went smoothly for a couple of months until early November. To be honest it kinda gets blurry what I was trying to do, I think I was trying to change the password or something. Tumblr sent a verification e-mail, and when I clicked on the link, that fateful "There is nothing here" page appeared. It was at that moment I knew something is wrong. My blog got wrongly terminated for the second time.

I sent a request to get my blog reinstated, and as patient as I can be, I get more anxious as the days went. Another fact is that my blog got yeeted away right when I was about to post my Halloween party posts -- which you'll see later, is quite time-consuming to take pictures of. I stopped playing The Sims 4 because I was sad, mad and somehow bitter at the situation. I mean, tell me why it keeps happening to me, @staff? The only possible explanation (and I don't want to keep making excuses for Tumblr because duh) is because sometimes I use VPN and some other times I turned it off. And if that's so, I already sent e-mails explaining the situation -- so far receiving no reply. None; nada!

I didn't think I would recreate another blog; I was done with it. That's when I absent-mindedly tried to google "misoplays" and the search brought me to this post.

I'm not gonna lie, I choked up and almost shed a tear 🥹

To think that someone out there -- someone who I look up to! -- knows that misoplays is gone and is wondering where it is... Bro, the tears are right there. Thank you, @charlypancakes, your post really bring my spirit up. I decided that I will create another blog, and I will start posting again. From now on I'll diligently back everything up, so if Tumblr yeeted this blog, I'm gonna create another one. I'm gonna live up to that one popular Indonesian proverb: Mati satu tumbuh seribu -- for every thing that was lost, a replacement will appear.

This current blog's name imomisoplays is another play on word: In English, 'emo' would refer to the sad, emotional side of me after experiencing this termination (as I would tell my friends, I'm "currently on my emo phase" once again). But in Korean, the word 이모 (read as ee-mo) means "aunt". I'm an aunt myself, and maybe, with my sims cooking content, I can be that cool auntie on the internet, conquering one recipe at a time 💃

I saw a hopeful post and realized that I still got that spirit to keep on posting, so I created this blog. I lost my following, my followers (all 20 of you, please know I appreciate each one of you!), and the drafts to my old posts (only managed to save some), but I would love to continue simblr-ing again as imomisoplays 🙇‍♀️

THE BIG FIND 2023: Day 1

The Big Find is a 10-day long Drarry fic-finding marathon to celebrate the blog’s anniversary. Below is the Day 1 compilation of lost fics, both old and new, that we’ve been unable to find. Our aim is to get as much attention to these lost fics as possible, to help people finally find their missing fics! Anyone can participate by reblogging, reading through each list, providing additional fic details, and informing us the title, author, or link of a fic, and their respective number in the comment section. Happy finding!

1.1 It’s a fic where after Draco is sentenced to live in muggle world and Draco first works in a cofee shop and then in a pharmaceutical company formed by a witch. then on a full moon day he suddenly turns into a werewolf and then with bill helps him adjust, and then he becomes potions professor meanwhile Harry adopts teddy and becomes defence professor and Harry magic goes haywire

1.2 it has Draco, Hermione, Ron, and Harry but the main scene is basically just Draco and Harry in the Room of Requirement. Premise is that Harry had been using magic to glamour himself to cover up the signs or the Dursley’s abuse FOREVER so no one has actually seen what he looks like. Somehow I think Ron and Hermione convince Harry to let someone in so he decides to show Draco who he’s dating what he actually looks like and Draco is so shocked/aghast Harry thinks he’s disgusted and one of them (though i don’t remember who) runs away back to the dorm and Harry is deeply upset. I believe it’s relatively short (2-10k?) and i feel like it’s 2-3 chapters or parts but could be wrong. It’s probably AO3 but slight possibility it was FFN (HIGHLY unlikely tho). If it is AO3 then unfortunately it’s not tagged for any of the things i listed.

1.3 Harry and Draco were out with Teddy, and they ran into Neville who questioned Harry about Draco and their relationship. I believe it was winter. There’s another scene that I can remember and I don’t know if I’m conflating two different fics but there’s a scene where Harry and Draco are shopping in muggle London and they’re looking at weird shirts and they run into Vernon who makes some homophobic slurs.

FOUND! 1.4 I’m looking for a fic that was on ao3. Draco is some sort of an artist, not sure if professionally or simply something he pursues as a hobby for his healing. Writer or painter maybe. He has a mentor who tells him to go a retreat by the seaside in a little hotel which he does and he runs into Harry by accident. Harry is overall happy and open to him, but Draco has a lot of anger towards him I think. They start a dom/sub relationship, Draco being the dom, taking pleasure out of humiliating Harry. Towards the end there’s a scene where he makes Harry suck off a stranger in a bars bathroom or maybe the stranger sucks Harry off while Draco watches. But I think this is a where Harry has enough because ultimately he only wants Draco. It’s a happy end if I remember well.

1.5 i read this fic on ao3 it was unfinished and a muggle au. harry works at an office (I think) where he is the boss and he meets Draco at a bar. Jily is still dead so Halloween is hard for him. He also dated Cedric I think and Cedric died. Draco helps bartend with Theo, and Draco is dressed like a cat cause of Halloween. Draco then gets assaulted and harry punches the guy. after that they hangout in Harry’s car.

1.6 Draco and Harry had a one night stand (I think?) and Draco gets pregnant, he doesn’t tell Harry and then leaves the baby with him once it’s born, Harry didn’t know that he is the father but keeps the baby. Said baby gets sick and the treatment involves the father so he publishes about it in the Prophet and ask the baby’s dad to please show up. Draco does and had some test done, they start the treatment and Harry asks him to stay.

FOUND! 1.7 been looking for this fic for a long time. i think draco is some sort of healer in the fic and harry always come to him injured and he helps patch him up also they’re close friends and by the end of the fic they go to ginny’s quidditch match and the gang helps them realise they have feeling for each other?

1.8 I believe it was on AO3 but I could be wrong, I think it was a number of fics in a series but it could have been chapters but I’m fairly sure it was complete. It was set post-war, Harry had become an Auror and was apparating home from an alley while buzzed. There was a line about how the whores don’t hit on him anymore because he never takes them home? He hears a weird noise and his magic automatically sobers him up. The noise is Draco, who got kicked out by parents and got roofied. Harry rescues him, I think Draco passes out? and then Harry is annoyed because his buzz is gone and he has to deal with this. The second fic (or chapter) opens from Draco’s POV. He’s looking around the bedroom he’s in and he figures out it’s the old Black house because of the furniture and that Harry must have rescued him but taken him home instead of the hospital. He decides to seduce Harry and he’s able to conjure like a mirror and brush? and there’s a line about how this is the only spell he’s able to do wordlessly/wandlessly? I think the POV then switches to Harry and there’s a line about how Draco has managed to get like a single ray of light from the curtains to fall on him perfectly. Harry is aware he’s being seduced but he’s into it. Then I think the next chapter has Harry confronting the Malfoy parents about how they’re going to get married and they’re not going to hyphenate names, Draco is going to take his last name. The final fic is maybe from Lucius pov (or narcissa?) Draco threw Harry a really big birthday party and reveals he’s pregnant which causes Lucius to faint? And there’s a line about how the baby has brought both Harry and Lucius to their knees.

FOUND! 1.9 harry tells draco that he wants to wait until theyre eight years into their relationship to get married so that hed have spent more time loving him than hating him before they tie the knot

1.10 auror fic where Draco and Harry have to work together to arrest some child abuser and learn about each other’s past. I don’t remember if they were in relationships or it was drarry but the focus was the work in the auror force and their building relationship.

1.11 major plot point is ginny and Molly Weasley being behind some sort of plot and eventually are imprisoned. I know Ron is an ass for much of the fic, hermione helps solve a case or problem with Harry and involves draco. Not a lot much else I recall fic is not The Haunting of Harry Potter by Alexandria_ofCiro

1.12 was either 1 or 2 chapters, it was on ffnet. Set in the eighth year. The plot is somewhat similar to the show/manga “boys over flowers”. Also Draco was being bullied due to receiving a howler (I think, sorry it’s been a long time since I’ve read it) Neville has an unrequited crush on Draco and they are friends.

1.13 takes place in the eighth year but some of it also takes place after the war but before the eighth year. Draco receives an inheritance from a high ranking Veela who died which made him a Veela. Most of what I remember takes place before he goes back to hogwarts and is basically him learning how to be a Veela and stuff

FOUND! 1.14 Draco cursing his family name (Malfoy) because he wants to feel pain each time someone says it to it. So i think the fic starts with Draco working as a cafe barista in the human world and harry walks into the shop and calls him Malfoy, so the curse is kinda unlocked and Draco gets sick so he has to stay under surveillance in Harry’s house

Vash the Stampede x Tsundere Girlfriend Reader

TW/CWs: Vash and reader are in a romantic relationship, the reader is referred to as a girl/girlfriend and uses she/her pronouns, reader is described as being a bit mean at first but the dynamic gets worked out over time, Vash is a bit of a kicked puppy as always (/affectionate), written with TriStamp Vash in mind but feel free to slot any version you would prefer, barely proofread but I appreciate spellchecks.

A/N: So I've never actually gone out of my way to write tsunderes before! Usually it just kinda happens by accident lol. I hope this is what you were after!

So to be totally real, I don't think Vash would be phased all that much by a tsundere, considering his outlook. Like it might get a bit tiring on his mind if you're being especially prickly, but it's nothing he hasn't either seen before. Hell, it's milder than most cases!

All that to say, the Big Hurdle that comes from being interested in a lovely tsundere such as yourself is that he is. Deathly afraid of accidentally coming on too strong and making you uncomfortable. Like it's hard for him to tell where exactly your abrasiveness is coming from. Is it a coping mechanism? Is it something he did? Is this just how you are? If it's something he did, he wishes you would just tell him so he could apologize and make it up to you, but unless your behavior really wears down to a sore spot, he doesn't push you to talk about it.

Little does he know that all the times you call him a dumbass or get on his case for something or other, it's just your way of saying and showing you care without tipping anyone off (although if we're being real, I think Meryl would clock it pretty fast if she's around--) And it's hard sometimes because he has such a sweet face! And you kinda feel bad whenever his smile stops reaching his eyes as much and he excuses himself all quiet and shy. But also his pacifist attitude puts him in danger a lot of the time, and he seems to take undeserved punishment so easily, as if he really thinks he had it coming, and you want him to stand up for himself more!

I'm imagining that the relationship starts like. Right after one of those moments that sends him a few feet away from you out of respect. Like he starts to shift away in the sand, murmuring an apology and a "I'll get out of your hair" only for your feelings to just flow over until you're hauling him into a kiss and while he does kiss you back, when you both pull away he is. so confused. ("I thought you hated me!" "What?" "You called me all these names until now! I thought I did something wrong." "You didn't do anything wrong???" "Then why were you all mean to me?" "Well-- I mean-- Don't worry about that! I'm sorry!")

Once the relationship gets started though, Vash is super relieved and also pumped. He's got a girlfriend!! Yay!! And she's really cool and now he knows that the banter is a love language!! He gets a bit better at banter now that he knows that, leading to some really silly conversations and interactions over the coming relationship.

He also knows now that your attitude isn't meant to keep him away but is more part of a chase, kinda like how dogs will swat at each other or nip and then run off, hoping their target comes after them for some light-hearted wrastlin'. Thing is though, I don't think that's always how he rolls, so sometimes he'll just throw that out the window and go right for the throat (metaphorically) by being nice. Like he'll talk about how pretty you are and calls you things like "sweet girl," "angel," and the ever-beloved "mayfly," just to feel your face get all warm and hear your tongue get tied up. It's one of the cutest things in the world to him, and it usually ends with him pulling you into a hug and laughing an apology into your neck, which he knows only makes it worse.

About Us:

Why are we pro-endo?: When we were first discovering our system we were desperate to be “real enough” and accepted. Although the first system we discussed plurality with was pro-endo, they left the internet shortly after we opened up, and this lead us to being around sysmeds. To prove ourselves we purposely forced ourselves to remember trauma which put us in a worse position mentally. It took a long time, but through working to accept ourselves, we realized how bigoted we were being, which lead us to question a lot of things, such as our beliefs on endogenic plurality. Although we have gone a long way, some of our alters do not agree with us because it got so drilled into our mind that “endogenic systems are somehow just traumagenic and don’t remember” (which is a incredibly misinformed and harmful.)

What do we plan to talk about on this blog?: Really whatever we feel like! We may talk about Syscourse, plural positivity, advice from personal experience, our trauma, special interests and hyperfixations, ect. If we want to talk about it we probably will. The Life of Bridget Merriweather

I want to do some more content for my Magic Awakened Era OCs and conveniently two of the three are being given family within game just by coincidence (wish they gave us more about Kenji so those plans for him and Rex are going to need to wait but I do plan on sharing some ideas soon). This time, I will be working on explaining my interpretation of the current event that introduces Glenna Golding. I was debating this since we don’t even know if she is telling the truth, but I started thinking about it and I am liking how this is turning out so think I will indeed my Glenna and Nyle members of Genna’s family, so here is what I have so far for the life of Genna’s maternal grandmother and my version of Glenna’s sister. As we get more information I will reblog this post with updates or if I decide to change any information that is stated in this blog

Bridget Merriweather was born in 1943 to Tiburon Merriweather and his wife, Eileen. She was raised in the Merriweather house in Hogsmeade and spent a good amount of time in the wizarding village. Her birth was a happy moment for the young family and for the first few months of her life, everything seemed perfectly fine. However, things started to go down the drain when Bridget was not showing any signs of magic and later it was revealed that she was a squib. Tiburon had wanted to be rid of his daughter, not believing a squib deserved to dwell in wizarding society in any capacity. Yet it was his wife’s insistence, not wanting to lose her beloved daughter, even if she was a squib, that allowed Bridget to stay with her family, much to Tiburon’s displeasure, but agreed to the compromise with his wife.

Tiburon only really interacted with his squib daughter when he viewed if necessary causing for Eileen to be the primary parental figure in her daughter’s life, but even she struggled, not knowing what to do with a squib. When Bridget was old enough, Tiburon swiftly sent his daughter off to a boarding school, believing it would be good for her as it reduced her time spent in Hogsmeade. And while she did enjoy her time there as Bridget always felt out of place in Hogsmeade, she still never really found her place.

Morven Merriweather, a ghost and self proclaimed greatest member of the Merriweather family who dwelled within the house hid no distaste for Bridget and would often say that Tiburon needed another child to not dishonor the family, to which Tiburon agreed was necessary. However, Eileen had trouble with conceiving for many years causing for fears that the Merriweather line would end with Tiburon. However, those fears were gone when Eileen went through a successfully pregnancy and gave birth to another daughter named Glenna Merriweather in 1959, and with her accidental magic at such a young age proved that there would indeed be a magical Merriweather to continue Tiburon’s legacy.

Bridget held no dislike for her younger sister and was happy to help her mother with her. However it was something Tiburon wasn’t fond of, still being prejudiced with his squib daughter. Yet the family faced a tragic loss when Eileen was killed in 1962 in a freak accident. The loss devastates Bridget as while her mother was far from perfect, she was one of the few people in Hogsmeade who didn’t dismiss her for her lack of magic. In the following year, tensions reached a boiling point and erupted in an explosive argument between Bridget and Tiburon which resulted in Bridget leaving Hogsmeade for good. And while Bridget would go on to believe she was right in her decision she did feel like it was wrong of her to leave her little sister as well, but did acknowledge that while Tiburon was a bad father to her, it was quite the opposite with Glenna.

After leaving her family, Bridget meets Nolan Murdock, a muggle who she ends up falling in love with and marrying. She enjoyed her times with his family and got along with his numerous siblings and felt the warmth she never felt at home. The two settled in the Hebrides and enjoyed the calming atmosphere of the serene islands. In 1971 Bridget would give birth to her and Nolan’s twin daughters whom she named Eleanor and Evelyn Murdock. The family lived a simple life and enjoyed the simple things. While Bridget had a sore spot with the magical world, she fully supported her daughters’ fascination with fairytales and often read fantasy stories to her daughters. Yet things changed eight years later when Evelyn was supposedly killed in a house fire (in reality it was a Hebridean Black Dragon) and Eleanor evaded death but did have burn marks from the experience on her arms. While heartbroken by her daughter’s death, Bridget knew she had to stay strong for Eleanor, and along with her husband, did their best to support her even as Eleanor closed herself off from others.

In the 1990s, Nolan and Bridget attended their daughter’s wedding to a business man who worked in the railway industry named Andrew Raleigh. Bridget particularly supported the match knowing Andrew would be able to give Eleanor a comforting life and appreciated how he was one of the people who could make Eleanor light up the way she used to as a kid. In October of 1996, Bridget became a grandmother to Genevieve Grace Raleigh, who the family nicknamed either Genna or Evie depending on the specific member. Bridget and Nolan spoiled their granddaughter and Bridget always felt like she had traveled back to the time when her daughters were young while spending time with her granddaughter. Bridget’s life came to an end along with her husbands in 2005 when she died in a plane crash while returning home from a trip to the Mediterranean, never having reunited with her sister or father or ever really enlightening her family about her past in Hogsmeade.

Huh. Just had my first run in with a tumblr account being controlled by AI. Like claiming its AI and not just a bot account. The blog had reblogged something from me so of course I went over to make sure it wasn't a pron bot account because the profile image was questionable.

Turns out, it was an AI account that just reblogs 9 random posts every hour, and puts a little phrase at the end of the post. It only had about 5 different phrases for every post but they were always the same.

i mean, don't get me wrong, i know barely nothing about mindy kaling i'm not her fan or anything, but I want to believe in the good in humanity, so i usually don't go around expecting the worst in people and jumping to conclusions like these, therefore i'm not calling mindy a terf until she comes to public and clarifies her stance, because for instance, she could've just liked the tweet by accident or because she thought the joke was funny since she has also been receiving backlash for her works but does not care since her works have been making relatively success (so liking the tweet as a money commentary and not as a transphobic commentary).

We here at genloss-soundtrack-bracket are here for a great time. unlike the sorry fate our hero came to (but we won't talk about that) so we want you to have an easy time making your favourite tune a winner!

about the blog and it's owner

genloss-soundtrack-bracket is currently run by @gay-crows-in-a-trenchcoat (they/them) so if there's anything you'd like to know more about, or chat about, go check their blog (look I'll be honest talking about myself in third person is weird, come talk to me about the songs or some strange thing up with the blog or if I've got something wrong or mistagged (I don't bite, promise))

(due to me being quite accident prone I may reblog things onto here that were meant to be on the other blog, if I am aware but the post is relative enough to the blog it will be tagged 'not a poll' sometimes I just don't realise and there's no harm in pointing that out! :D)

"I want something tagged but there's no tags already existing on the blog/I'm unsure if you'll tag it" if there's something you want tagged just ask! unless you're asking to tag things so you can avoid seeing them when they're a major part of the blog there's no tag too outrageous!
