Favorite Line:

Why I Like it:

I’m biased because I had the privilege of seeing Camila perform this live while she was on the reputation stadium tour. It was special because it was the last day of the Dallas stop, which was her last stop. She cried while performing this song. I felt really connected to her, even from the other side of the stadium. This song is a personal favorite because of the sentimental value. It’s also a beautiful heartbreak song.

Why I Like It:

This is a pretty song. The Japanese House has a lot of songs that make me want to stare at the clouds or close my eyes while lying in the grass. The bridge is my favorite part. That’s why I included two of my favorite lines. If I could write down the entire bridge, I would. We all know that feeling of losing yourself because you like someone.

Why I Like it:

This is a song with a lot of emotional meaning to me. I went through some hard times in middle school and high school. I saw Taylor perform this at my first concert when she was on the Speak Now World Tour. My mom would listen to this and send me the lyrics to make me happy. I would find myself singing this to myself when I felt alone or hopeless. There were a lot of dark things in my mind, but I would try to be happy and look forward to the future. Looking back, it was worth pushing through. I still find myself singing this to myself when I feel sad. I can’t perform it live, because I cry every time I try.

Why I Like it:

Vocally, this is a pretty song. The lyrics are nice and the vocals in it just make me vibe. Billie has a lot of songs that are pleasing to the ear. The lyrics are very poetic, while the vocals are flawless. Her mainstream songs don't do her vocals justice. They really shine in songs like this one, “Lovely,” “When The Party’s Over,” etc.

Favorite Line: “You, the only one thats on my mind. Swaying to the left and right.” 

 Why I Like It: Not going to lie, I keep singing this is the shower. I love the picture that this song paints. I can see myself with my person in the moonlight dancing. I can see us in the car jamming to our favorite songs. This song just paints a romantic scene in my head. I love the vocals and structure of the original. You have to listen to the OG.

Why I Like It:

I love how simple this song is. It is something I would want to slow dance to with my future partner. I always picture myself dancing in the kitchen with someone when I hear a good song. If I can’t do something like that to a song, then I usually skip it. I also got to see this performed live when they went on tour a few years ago. That concert was a religious experience. Those types of concerts are always the best.
