Finally got around to doing a screenshot redraw of Ezio and Rosa in AC2. These two were like my first real main ship back before I knew what shipping was. I was really disappointed Rosa didn't return in Brotherhood - did a little digging to find out her VA passed before the game came out ;^; I still wish there had been a way for Rosa to return.

Gonna try and finish this over the weekend!

High School AU + College AU

Now some of you know I ship Ezio and Rosa from the Assassin’s Creed franchise together, and I have thought of a few AUs for them. I have thought of the high school AU and college AU for them. I have also thought of the modern AU which has the storyline based off of Ezio’s life, but he situated with Rosa as his wife.

High School AU

Ezio would be considered the popular student in the school due to his boisterous attitude. His sister, Claudia, attends the same school as him and so does Rosa (duh). Ezio and Rosa were dubbed "Best Boyfriend/Girlfriend Relationship" in the school's yearbook. There was a rumor that he is gay and he has a secret relationship with a certain artist (you know who) who teaches at his school. Ezio managed to shut those gossipers up by teaching them a thing or two, but that led him to the principal’s office and a lecture from his father.

College AU

Ezio and Rosa attended the same college, but with different majors. Ezio is majoring in accounting, due to his father’s wishes and pressuring even though he had no idea what to do with his life, and Rosa is majoring in political science. Ezio, due to the influence of a certain artist and private lessons from him, minored in art even though his father told him he’s not going to achieve anything in life by doing paintings.

Note that both of these AUs take place in modern times and may not have to do with the Assassin brotherhood and motives. In these two AUs, Ezio's father and brothers didn't die. Also, Rosa doesn’t live in Venice and lives in Florence.

I’d assume that Ezio’s family are supportive of him being with Rosa. Rosa got along with Claudia and Maria, Federico would give advice to Ezio about dating and girls, Giovanni would tell stories about his teenage years, and Petruccio would play with and annoy Rosa and she would think of him as a little brother she never had.

Well, I hope you like those AUs I thought of and I’m planning on writing fanfics about them, even though I never get the time and chance to do so.

The screentime thing is specifically about Brotherhood he had so little interaction with us and impact on the plot despite being forced to work for the Borgia's that sometimes I wondered why they had him here at all. I was gonna say he never did anything wrong but he also never kissed Ezio senseless so 🙄 Was gonna say he works best as a dymanic with Ezio but that's kind of unfair to his personal achievements and all the stuff he does in the background when Ezio isn't there

Rosa

Rosa is the definition of "mark me down as scared AND horny" and pretty much everything I like about her is stuff I made up in my own mind. A lot of fans ignore her or just paint her as The Smart One who solves all the EzioLeo problems and it annoys me terribly. I wanted more missions with her in AC2 honestly I feel like they kinda leave her behind once you meet Antonio and learn the climbing move (speaking of: Do Not Separate Her From Antonio They Are Besties)

yknow i really liked rosa!! normally i'm not one for cutscene-based romantic subplots in games but she was so fun and sassy i didn't even mind. asscreed has a messy track record with lady characters, but rosa was a delight.
