You ever look at yourself in dreams and think, wow, what a moron
I dreamt I fell pregnant and someone asked me if I had sex recently, so I thought about it for a moment and said no
Then said, "not the consensual type anyway"
Ah yes, because babies can only be made with consent, you idiot 🤦♂️🤦♂️

"How should we make this character's story progress?"
"Well, a romantic relationship is the only real development"
WHY
aro culture is being consistently stressed out by the amount of amatonormativity that exists in media

Cake, garlic bread and Satan is a cult I can get behind ngl
Sex repulsed asexuality and romance repulsed aromanticity is living the life of a nun but you worship cake and garlic bread.
I almost posted Satan, but I wanted to respect the religious beliefs of my fellow sex and romance repulsed Aroaces.

And also whatever feels like "the norm" to you is what you probably are
To all my questioning people (especially aro/ace):
Idk if that will help you, but what helped me was a "*identity* until proven otherwise"-appoarch.
Like, it was like: "yes, that certain identity sounds like it could be correct, but I am really not sure. It's just my best guess at the moment, but I'm thinking about it too much right now to have a clear picture of it" with a sprincle of "I dont want to have to think about it anymore, but can't stop thinking about it until i have an answer" and a "how can I ever be sure :("
And now, about 2 years later I'm preeeetty sure I was right all along. But I couldn't have found that security back then without the time that passed.
But still, I never stopped that approach! Yes, I can confidently say that I am aroace now, but I still have this "unless proven otherwise" safetynet, which allows me to be unsure?
(The same thing also kinda worked for me being enby, btw)
Yeah, idk whether that post helps anyone, but I thought if I don't put it out there, it for sure won't :)

I'll never forget the time I worked at a supermarket and there was a father's day card that had Darth Vader on the front and it said "to the best father in the galaxy"
Aka say you've never seen Star Wars without saying you've never seen Star Wars
Your art gives me so much joy! Have you done Force Ghost Anakin meeting his adopted grandbaby Grogu?
oh no, worst ever meet your new grandpa in the history of ever

Saiki Kusuo is a really good one, and honestly I get aroace vibes from Mash Burnedead and L too
*Prays to Artemis and Hestia and any other aroace-coded gods that Sonic won't have a crush on Amy in the fourth movie.*
As I mentioned here, I think it'd be a huge step to have an aroace main character in a fairly well-known piece of media. I mean, when was the last time we had an aroace main character in a popular franchise? Or any franchise, for that matter? (SpongeBob is ace at least.)
Either we have shows like Riverdale that erased Jughead's asexuality or we have shows like Heartstopper where Isaac is a "glorified background extra." (According to this video. I haven't watched either of these shows.)

Yep, history in UK schools pretty much covers: Romans, Tudor era, slavery, Victorian era, WWII
Only thing I could tell you about the American Revolution was that the Boston Tea Party was not an actual tea party
