Today is the 32nd anniversary of...

Disney's Aladdin!

Already it has been 32 years since we have seen the story of Aladdin and the Arabian Nights come into our hearts in Disney form. We must thank this film for bringing these Disney All-Stars,

Jafar and Iago,

Aladdin and Jasmine,

the Sultan,

Abu,

the Magic Carpet,

and Genie come into our hearts.

We must thank this film for having Robin Williams as the Genie,

and Gilbert Gottfried as Iago for making us laugh.

The live action version of Aladdin shows a stronger sense of Jasmine. It wasn’t just about a thief, it was about growth with both parties. She became stronger, and it was seen like the original Jasmine who stated “I am not a prize to be one”
