I think a better ending and message of The Umbrella Academy should have been that Five doesn't tell the others what he learns in the subway and about breaking the timeline, but instead he simply lives with his family, endlessly saving and trying to save the world. To live despite how dark it is and how hopeless it is.

To live in spite of hardship. To live and spit in the face of how hard and bleak it is.

To say, 'I lived' in spite of it all.

That should have been the message at the end.

What makes me angry with Dumbledore (part of it anyways, there's a lot of reasons to be mad at him) is that he saw first hand with his sister and nephew both what happens when a magical person feels the need to repress their magic. He knew, and he still ran the risk of Harry becoming an obscurial.

He wasn't ignorant, he knew that Harry would be unhappy with the Dursleys. Random Hufflepuffs in second year knew that Harry hated his muggle family, so he must have too. He knew about the cupboard under the stairs.

He knew all of this and yet he sent Harry there and kept sending him back.

I can't speak for everyone, but I don't like the romance between Lila and Five. I hate what they did to both Five and Lila's characters. Steve used TUA to put out his fetish's including the projectile vomiting.

We now understand why Rob told us to go in with no expectations...

WTF was season 4??? (if you like it, I'm not hating on you-just my opinion)

Both Aidan and Ritu thought they were joking about the kiss until it was time to shoot and realized they weren't.

Ritu has known Aidan since he was 14/15 and they had to have a make out scene and implied sex. It's messed up on so many levels. This was planned and Steve was just waiting for Aidan to be legal. I'm honestly disgusted. He wanted to sexualize someone he's known since he was 13!!!! I just want to emphasize it. Every cast member tried to protest it, especially David.

David hated that they wanted to ruin the characters, which they did successfully.

Five stated he did anything to get back to his family (not direct quote). He and Diego had a tight bond, and suddenly his family didn't matter. Lila may have said she needed a break and something for herself doesn't mean she was going to cheat with her brother.

The writers must have forgotten about the show, forgotten about the bracelet Diego made was important to Lila. "I choose you"

Lila and Diego had 3 kids together, married, and she thought it was a great idea to cheat with HIS BROTHER!!!!! I understand they were stuck together for 7 years-needing comfort they looked to each other. That does not excuse their behavior.

I do not claim season 4 Five and Lila.

Season 4 was a disappointment to me. At least we still had Klaus being Klaus and Viktor. (I will always love Viktor)

Why did they have to do that???? Huh?

They ruined Lila, Five and Diego's relationship for what? How did Five and Lila having a relationship help the plot? Diego and Five died angry at each other all because the writers decided to ruin their characters. Lila would not cheat-especially with Five who she referred to as shorty and boy. Five is all about his family-he would never do that to Diego-no matter how long he was with Lila. He would've asked her about her kids, why her and Diego were struggling. He cares more than he is given credit-despite being sassy and bitter.

Why did we have more loose ends than answers??

I'm frustrated as hell, and wish season 4 was actually good. I will always love Viktor tho-

The finale left me with questions, not closure. They erased all 43 from existence. Rob warned us by saying don't expect anything. Lila and Five were platonic soulmates until this bs. Diego said "you hate bracelets" did the writers forget the characters?
