wait ok speaking of fandom police. something that’s been fucking bothering me for a while is how much some subsection of fandom think that hating a character is Mean. and that expressing your hate for that character is like. bad fandom etiquette. bc that might be someone’s favorite character and you’re gonna hurt their feelings.

anyway that shit is absolutely unnecessary policing of fandom behavior and it’s weak as hell. let people be haters. if it bothers you to see people hating on your favorite character then block the people who hate your favorite character. it is that simple.
