Favorite Positions:

Hajime - Anything that puts him face to face with his partner.

Fuyuhiko - I said riding before, but I definitely want to mention that he also loves being thrown down and ravished. Feels worth mentioning lmao

Kazuichi - Would absolutely say that he likes being on top, but his favorite is actually flat on his back with his partner curled around him, making him feel wanted and safe.

Gundham - He's afraid of his aura hurting his lover, so generally he likes positions with less physical contact, like from behind and whatnot.

Sonia - Likes to be on top and in charge. Everything that happens during sex is done exactly the way she wants it. If she's riding your dick, it's a goddamn privilege and you should thank her.

No, there was no "not interested" on either party's side. Blake is an abuse survivor thus guarded in any amount of interest towards anyone. Yet softens due to Yang being around; goes to a dance specifically because of Yang's offer of her first dance; giggles at Yang's comments; always notices when Yang enters a room; brightened & grew more cheerful thanks to Yang; her abusive ex even referencing Yang as someone she loves in Blake; her standing against said abusive ex to defend Yang even risking her life in the process as well as pushing her semblance either to its limit or even evolving it; thinking about Yang as the two were separated; facing down her abusive ex with Yang & taking him down; and going into her true cheerful flirty self towards Yang after having her trauma scar resolved. Yang was always looking at Blake; having a clear soft spot when it came to her opinion; put aside looking for her sister because Blake was in danger with the thought "there's nothing I won't do for her"; goes full-on gayngsty separated lover mode when she's away; wants to "write stories together with Blake"; and is just overall a total disaster wlw towards Blake. Absolutely fuck off with the fearmongering bullshit about Viz, not only is Kerry onboard with the new series; but Viz has no benefit in breaking up the two. Considering v10 is located in Vacuo Coco is very much set to return with the rest of her team, but do learn the difference between main characters vs. secondary vs. minor and how that reflects their time in the story. Is very much a flirting play-girl type and being single is not a damn bad thing wtf.

I don't know if I'd call Nolan a twink, I'm not sure where he falls but not a twink; unless terms have changed. Also both are in Vacuo where v10 would be picking up and thus would likely make an appearance in some capacity; but again they are side characters.

So at this point your ass is just trying to spin shit into negative bullshit. NDGO in the episode they debut in have traits that flow into "bully" territory, its not some dumbass take against Ace. The other bully character is Cardin a straight white male character, so fuck off with this spin bullshit.

There is no relationship between Blake and Sun, there is a friendship that had attraction at one point to varying degrees. This is further reinforced by one of the writers directly stating that Sun was never a romantic interest. There is no retcon with Adam, there's just clarification once he actually shows up in the story vs. it being left open to interpretation. Also her VA is a bisexual woman who has been onboard with BB as well as bi Blake for forever.

okay i'm doing a recap of all of rwby's lgbt characters and of them:

blake and yang are together, but in that weird way where blake was interested when yang wasn't and vice-versa, and then they got together in canon. and then roosterteeth shuttered and was bought by viz. so we'll see how long that lasts.

Ilia, who has a crush on blake but got over it and was a villain for most of her screentime.

jaune's sister Saphron married a woman named Terra Cotta. as a reference to how Sappho of Lesbos would paint terracotta lekythoi. and then we never see her again after her one (1) episode.

may marigold, a minor character, has a throwaway line about being a trans woman and we never see her again (only trans character in rwby btw)

coco was confirmed in a book to be a lesbian. she is in no relationship, is no longer in the show, and is named after Coco fucking Chanel.

scarlet david, a side character who does not reappear in the show, is confirmed in a different book to be gay and has entered a relationship with nolan porfirio, an even less-relevant character. they are both twinks.

for fun trivia: three of team NDGO (nebula, gwen, and dew) - who are a team of canon fancharacters who appear minorly in the show - are confirmed by their creators to be asexual, but not by the showrunners. all four members of NDGO are then written to be bullies in the book where they reappear (same book where the twinks get together).

not counting the animals as nonbinary (because animals don't experience gender the same way humans do), that leaves us with:

1 bisexual (blake, because a lot of people forget her awful relationship with sun and try to forget that weird retcon with adam)

1 pansexual (yang, and i'm not sure if there's a meaningful difference in this)

Okay so until yesterday, the 4th anniversary of Guardian being first streamed, you could watch all 40 episodes on Youtube. However, yesterday YT set it to private -- something similar happened to the Chinese drama Nirvana in Fire before, we're hoping it's just contract negotiations.

It was also recently taken off Viki.com, the go-to site for watching Asian dramas (Korean, Thai, Chinese, most of them are there for international audiences to enjoy).

So! That's a bit of a bummer, but!

Because this fandom is incredible, we actually have an entire drive worth of high quality videos, including fantranslated subs. You can find them to download here. (Quick terms explanation: hardsubs means the text is burned onto the visuals, softsubs you use software to pop them up on top of the video -- meaning you can turn it off for clear visuals for giffing/editing purposes!)

Alternatively, Guardian is also still up on dramacool. I haven't personally used this site before, but I've heard from at least three fellow Guardian fans that they used it without issues.

I know it's more difficult to access right now, which is likely to put new potential fans off. That said, however, I wanna emphasize how amazing an experience Guardian is to watch, and how beauitful a fandom it is.

Is it a perfect drama? By no means. The story has a lot of wobbly parts, the background characters are often very much their stereotypes, the CGI is questionable unless it's dark energy, then it's pretty. The intro is a banger and you can tell they used up their whole budget just for that 😂

But the true selling point is the ship: they don't call it gay because of censorship, but the two main character Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan? Are so freakin' in love, and they're really not subtle about it. Especially Shen Wei's actor is star-struck wide-eyed *yearning* from the first meet-cute, and Zhao Yunlan is constantly fellating a lollipop with very unsubtle innuendo. The amount of times their gazes drops to each other's mouths! The dry swallowing after ambiguous lines! I don't wanna spoil anything, but sheesh. The mutual pining, mutual obsession, mutual stalking, mutual sacrificing--- it's beautiful.

The ship is really what holds the whole drama together.

Also, the novel it's based on? Very gay, and Zhao Yunlan is very much a slutty disaster bisexual. Like, the come-on lines coming out of his mouth made my ears burn, and I write a lot of smut! Kinky smut even! He's absolutely shameless, and drama!Zhao Yunlan toes that line a little more subtly.

Uhhh, fair warning though, you *will* need tissues for the last episode. And feel free to hmu for all the fix-it fic in the aftermath, there's a lot of it out there (and goddamn the sheer QUALITY of writing in this fandom is levels above most I've been in before) and it's a very, very necessary part of the Guardian Experience TM ^^"

☆Mello is a very interesting person to be honest. He has pretty big anger issues and a tough ass outer appearance but under the surface he's really just scared of the future and has a pretty big inferiority complex.

☆Mello LOVES riding motorcycles and taking big risks...I get the impression he would love Rollercoasters.

☆Suprisingly is one of the more easy going and optimistic Wammy boys although you would honestly never be able to tell. He seems pretty tough but as long as you aren't Near or incredibly stuck up and a prat would probably get along with you fine.

☆Hated scheduled regiments at Wammys house and tended to play by his own rules, thinking outside of the box. He fucking HATES due dates, and is a major procrastinator. Because of this, he was always labeled as less smart then Near but to be frank he was just as smart.

Near was more Math and by the book smart sure, But Mello knew how to plan every detail of something and worm his way through on his own damn terms.

☆Swears like a sailor around his friends but tends to act more formal around people he doesn't want to let down.

☆I feel like....His whole life he was treated as less then Near and his other counterparts and was never expected to amount to much. So he began working harder on his own terms, never fully conforming. In the end the only person he didn't prove himself to was Near and well...That pissed him off. Royally.

WIP Wednesday Monday because @tuntematonkorppi tagged me and what’s time anyway?

So, I haven’t been writing much fic lately, but....I have been writing an original story based on those extremely inconvenient feelings I developed last summer for Mr. 90% Dad Bod and Farmers Tan. But it takes place in space, and is also a part of the Disaster Bisexuals Superhero Series Cinematic Universe, because of course it is.

This is also pretty much entirely @the-restless-brook‘s fault, because she asked if he was a spy, and my brain just went off and running from there. My brain is an asshole and it hates me so much. 

@myletternevercame is enabling me because of course she is.

All you need to know is that Ella is basically me, Daniel is basically Mr. 90% Dad Bod and Farmers Tan, and Zak is based on my friend who also works with us, has gotten me drunk enough to know about my feels, and is planning on locking us in a closet together when we get to camp this summer because he’s evil.

Because my life is a goddamn fanfic and has been for almost a fucking year at this point. 

Here’s one of the bits from early on in the story:

Out of spite, Ella waits until she’s done for the day and back in her quarters before thinking about sending a message to Daniel.

Yes, she knows that the only person she’s spiting is herself, and that she also does spend the better part of her afternoon thinking of what to say to him between reports and a slew of other requests for ships coming to the station over the next few weeks.

She’s sitting on the couch in her living room, tablet perched on her knees, and knows that, while Zak doesn’t spend every ounce of his free time thinking about her and how much she’s a disaster when it comes to the human spectrum of emotion, she knows that, wherever he is right now on the station, he’s making fun of her for being a such goddamn wuss.

Hi! Your request came through this afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you.

Every single word she typed feels absolutely idiotic, stilted and awkward like she’s never talked to Daniel before in her life, and she sends the message off without thinking about it any more than she already is, which yes, is way more than she should for a simple hey, hello.

Then, she tosses the tablet to the far side of her couch.

She knows she can just tell Daniel that she’s been a little more than half in love with him since a month after they met during his first two-month stint at the station, but also, their friendship is one of the best thing she has, even if it only exists within a 60-day span, every ten months.

Feelings are the worst.

I’ll admit I’m in a ranting mood, so you’re in luck. Catch me in a few days and I’ll probably be less ranty, more level headed, more oh they think they can shove Cas out of the narrative and hint he’s running around fixing Heaven with Jack without actually giving us a visual establishing of TFW 2.O reunited and of course especially Cas and Dean reunited and we’ll all just be absolutely understanding of that and nod and go, mh, makes sense because the show was always about the brothers wasn’t it, mh, mh hmh, hmmmmmmmmh let me present you with my slideshow of why and how of course we shall not go any form of mh at it.

This is not a few days from now. (look out for that slideshow though) (it will be spectacular)

Queerbaiting. Such a hotly contested topic in relation to this show. If you read my analysis then you know the faith I’ve always had. For four years. Unwavering faith. I’ve seen it so clearly in this narrative because I’ve wanted to see it, because it got me excited for what this narrative might be moving towards ripping apart, which is how the American manly man is represented in media such as this, the one that mildly glorifies the violent, repressed, WHITE middle-class male. The not quite well-educated but street-smart WHITE male. The modern cowboy WHITE male.

For someone representative of all these things to flip the switch and reveal himself to be bisexual would’ve been... well, glorious. It would have been utterly glorious. 

So were we - was I - queerbaited into thinking this would happen? That we’d get queer representation, in full, on Supernatural through the stated love story of Dean and Cas?

I. Still. Don’t. Know.

I’m serious. That’s the truth. The ugly fucking annoying frustrating goddamn truth. Dammit!!

I don’t know if “queerbaiting” is what these writers engaged with for over a decade because I don’t know if they knew for sure that they would never be able to deliver it, or if it’s possible that all the showrunners and all the writers throughout all the seasons that have played around with the Destiel subtext HOPED that it might come to fruition once the finale rolled around.

Here’s another question, though:

Was I queerbaited into watching this fucking disaster of a finale because I was left with the hope that Cas was going to return?

I would, at this moment in time, say ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY I WAS.

I didn’t get to grieve Cas when I was supposed to BECAUSE I HAD NO INDICATION FROM THE CAST OR SHOWRUNNER OR ANYONE CURRENTLY ON THE SHOW THAT THE DEATH WAS STICKING AND HE WAS NOT COMING BACK OMFGGGGGG THIS IS THE WORST THING THEY’VE EVER FUCKING DONE!!!!!!!!!!

I swear to Jack. I’ll never forgive them for this. Not that they want any forgiveness or expect it or would ever even seek it. Obviously. All they cared about was the fucking ratings for the finale, which would’ve been lower if we knew for sure there was no Cas in it.

I wouldn’t have watched it as eagerly, I’ll admit that. I would’ve watched it, though, which is what makes me sad. At least I could’ve been prepared for the badness, for the utter pit of horrors that awaited me, at least I could’ve been in acceptance mode and nodded and laughed a little, maybe shook my head like, yeah, makes sense. But no.

Nope. 

And yes fine Cas is in Heaven with Jack so it’s not like they didn’t HINT that maybe at SOME POINT these men will all be reunited but omfg.

The finale.

Does not.

Exist.

I refuse to acknowledge it’s existence. It existed for about an hour and a half while I was going through every single stage of grief with my pal @natmoose and then I moved into laughter at the absolute ridiculousness of this whole situation, and acceptance, and now I’m just drinking. And chilling.

Here’s where I take proper offence. 

I take offence at 15x18. I take offence at the episode beginning with two queer characters having their relationship torn apart by one disappearing, and then the person remaining lamenting the fact that she dared open her heart and then this happened - her person is just GONE - only for Charlie to then die as well. Visually. Disappearing from sight. Erased.

I take offence at a straight couple consisting of one deaf character getting torn apart, yet more representation just inexplicably erased. 

And then I take offence at this love story I’ve followed and adored and hoped and embraced as the possibility for healthy representation and healthy progression for Dean and for Cas for four years, a love story others have embraced for well over a decade, ending in Cas finally reaching a moment of true happiness, and that happiness requiring a self-sacrifice so great that his I love you literally means death.

I take offence at all this. It makes me fucking angry. It’s dismissive of what representation means to a lot of people and it MAKES NO SENSE since it’s written by a writer who has always seemed extremely sensitive to these things. 

So. Queerbaiting occurred, to my mind, for sure for the first time in these two weeks after 15x18, where the lid was put on Cas actually dying, and there were enough hinting that he did for everyone to throw their hands up and say but we thought it was OBVIOUS, but not enough of it there to put us off watching the finale, because we might’ve been put off had we known, for sure, hands down, that Cas was not going to come back.

Or perhaps that hope wasn’t wide spread and most people accepted his death for what it was. I know some people immediately saw it for what it was, I saw a few posts on Instagram and Twitter to that effect, so, you know, idk. Maybe it’s just me. Being hopeful. Yearning for hopeful endings. The fact that the show didn’t deliver the ending I was hopeful for isn’t, end of the day, the show’s fault.

To me, the way I view this narrative, the way I’ve always read it, this ending makes no sense, regresses both brothers in horrifying ways, underlines the codependency as the healthy option (which makes me feel physically ill btw), and leaves us with the moral of the story being... what? What was it for? What was it all about?? WHAT WAS IT ALL ABOUT PEOPLE??? 

Anyway. Finale does not exist. So it’s about love, and growth, and identity, and freedom, and finding peace with who you truly are.

Dean did not get impaled. In a vamp den. In a BARN. Like how DARED THEY KILL HIM IN A BARN?? OMFGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!

Okay, this is already long. Did I... rant enough? Did I talk about queerbaiting enough? I’m not going to throw queerbaiting shade on the entire narrative. I just can’t. But queerbaiting shade on 15x18? Yah. Thrown.

Sigh.
