Sometimes I think of Robron and the family they were supposed to have, and I honestly just want to cry. They deserved so much better!!

Thing is we know that Oliver Farnworth is a good actor from his Corrie days so the fact he is so stilted and wooden in Emmerdale is likely a choice.

literally the best part of this whole half-brother thing is watching the more recent villagers who weren't there for the robron lunacy years (affair, presumed attempted murder, marriage and second marriage) react to aaron spiraling bc of robert sugden's spectre. GIVE ME MY CRUMBS EMMERDALE

there are ships I was very into and emotional about at the time and thought I'd never get over but after just a few months I was like "ok :)" when reminded of them and then there's Robron that I think I've gotten chill about because at least I can stand seeing gifs of them now but then there's one (1) mention of the R word in canon and I'm just on the floor sobbing.

If Robert hadn’t left when he did, then he and Aaron would have had their surrogate baby in 2019/20. Their baby would be only 2/3 years younger than Seb. So if Robert hadn’t left, then they would have been raising two kids that are close in age who would be growing up together!!!!!

I feel like I would've taken the whole fauxbert thing a bit better had Emmerdale planned it better and not thrown multiple Robert easter eggs into the show this past year. Seeing as they weren't cues for Robert's return after all they seemed to only function as prompts for Aaron's longing for Robert. So, once again, Aaron's merely filling the Robert shaped hole in his life and heart like he's done with Ben and Carlos (that was his off screen bf's name wasn't it?). He'll think he's finally found the answer in fauxbert but, that's solely down to the fact of him being a blood relation to the love of his life.

I think it would've been better for the two of them to have met in the Woolpack and shared a flirty joke or two (similar to how Aaron and Mack act towards one another) whilst being under the influence before progressing onto more intimate relations with each other. That outcome might have been more favourable to watch but for some reason they thought they would throw them together and hope for the best which did not work in my opinion.

Anyhoo, I'll try to have a more positive outlook from here on out because, let's face it, anyone other than Robert was going to be disappointing regardless.
