I know its been said to death and back, but one of the realest struggles of being neurodivergent is getting stuck in sequences that only make sense to your brain.

A friend of mine has a birthday in a few weeks. It’s been my plan (for months now) to hand sew them a little present. However, I cannot sew without some outside source of stimulus, otherwise I get distracted. So I like to put on a tv show in the background while I work.

The next tv show I want to watch is Zexal. I cannot start watching Zexal until I finish my reviews of the first Big Three Ygo Shows, which are currently sitting half completed in my drafts. I cannot watch any other show than Zexal while I sew, because the criteria for a Background Noise Show is extensive and I don’t have any other good candidates right now. So I have to finish writing my reviews.

I cannot finish writing my reviews this morning, because I’m organizing an online event with some friends for this evening, and that takes priority in my Writer Planning Brain. I have to organize some slides, relearn powerpoint hotkeys, etc.

Just to get started on One Thing, I have to finish Three Other Things, otherwise the Sequence is ruined.

Nd folks are used to being called “lazy”, when really, we’re doing massive amounts of planning and scheduling in our own brains. It’s just invisible to the outside observer.

As of 1:07 PM PST, the newly canonical (!) AO3 tag has 204 works. And SPN is no longer the only crossover fandom -- by clicking Filter and checking the sidebar, we can now see a number of other fandoms with crossovers or fusions:

(Supernatural still has the most, though!)

Having this makes it much easier for everyone to find and sort/filter these works -- and to do fandom stats, for those of us so inclined. :) Three cheers for the awesome AO3 tag wranglers! 🎉🎉🎉
