Good bye to one of my favorite months of the year! As I reflect on this past month I’m grateful for all the lessons learned, blessings earned and all the great times had. . . Yes I said earned! I don’t usually say that I deserve anything extraordinary but this month was an exception. I’ve been through a lot, which I don’t usually talk about. Stuff like depression, anxiety, and self doubt. But I think it’s high time I did!! In spite of all the obstacles I feel I’ve come out the other end stronger and bolder. For the all crap I’ve been through I most certainly feel I’ve earned every blessing I’ve been lucky enough to have. For which I’m incredibly grateful for each and everyone of them!! . . In this coming month I aim to talk more openly about this stuff in an effort inspire and support others going through the same sort of thing. . . One thing’s for sure, if you come to my mama’s house, you aren’t going to leave hungry! And these two little first-time visitors are no exception! Not only am I grateful for this fabulous feast we are going to chow down on today but I am especially grateful for all the help that came my way this year when I needed it. From my brother-in-law and all the loving care he gives to my house, to @katiesherring for helping me big time when the VA came up short, to friends who listened when I needed an ear, to @tveap and @codyandma for always being there even from a distance, for Mama always making my falls a lot less painful, for shoulders strong enough to withstand my tears and the patience of a saint when I need to work through life’s big questions, for the business friends in my life who I might pay to do the job but who I trust to do it beautifully... I truly can go on and on because my life is beautifully blessed with people who will always be there to “feed me” when I am hungry and in need.
