KND next gen au! Recently rewatched the show and I'm a suckered for next gen aus so I decided to make my own.

Lemme tell you bout them! Some things may change as this is a concept and not polished BTW. So if anything isn't the same in the future you know why, it's still a wip :)

First off we have Hogarth P. Gilligan-Lincoln lll, or as he prefers, Gil. Gil is future Sector V's Numbuh 5. The second son of Hoagie Gilligan(Previously Numbuh 2) and Abigail Lincoln(Previously Numbuh 5), he is Sector V's new Stealth Specialist/spy. He is very chill and passive, not easy to anger. Though he does get frustrated, he prefers go about things with as little altercation as possible, though when push comes to shove, he can serve mean punch. Gil also is a big candy lover, just like his mother. He has two sibling, an older brother who is a teenager, and a younger sister, who is sector Vs Numbuh 2.

Next we have Charlotte Beetles, future Sector V's Numbuh 4. Daughter of Kuki Sanban(Previously Numbuh 3) and Wallabee Beetles(Previously Numbuh 4). The brawn of the group, she's a tough tombish girl. Despite her short stature she's hell in a pair of overalls. Sector Vs muscle. She hates being underestimated, which she frequently is whether that be because of her height, or the reason she hates the most, that she's a girl. She pretends to hate girly things yet secretly loves Rainbow Monkies and girly fashion magazines, though she's scared of her sector finding out and making fun of her. Has a baby sister, and is a total daddy's girl. 'Adults suck!... except my dad he's great.'

They're best friends and often seen together on missions or in battle! :) feel free to give feedback or ask questions.

just some thoughts of mine on what future sector V’s adult careers look like in my lore-brain. Lot of words under the cut

Nigel is happily decommissioned and retired upon returning to Earth for good. Is a stay at home spouse/dad first, and part time writer second. Subconsciously calls on “imaginative” memories of his heyday to write literature for children and is always sure to leave a part at the end where they can write their own story. A recurring theme in them seems to be of youth rebellion against old smelly oppressors. Hmm.

Hoagie is a man of many odd jobs and skills, but his bread and butter is being an elementary school bus driver. Doing his Dad proud. You’ll either love or groan at his joke of the day when you step on. Nothing will ever truly replace the COOLBUS, but the magic one he is granted the keys to is pretty cool. Especially for all the field trips he ends up driving for his sister-in-law’s classes. She offers him a gig as a part time substitute science teacher when she becomes principal. Magic school bus and all.

Kuki works for the Rainbow Monkey Corporation, making her way up the ladder. The plan is to destroy it from the inside. They’ve lost their way, you see. It’s no longer about caring and sharing, just greedy profit margins with the use of manipulative advertising to kids. That won’t do at all. From the ashes, she rebrands it into a smaller indie company, with frequent fundraisers where all proceeds go to charities to help kids and fund the preservation of Rainbow Monkey Island. She wants Hoagie to teach her to code to make a cutey-wutey cozy game.

Wally is a pediatrician. Graduated Harvard Medical School with honors, don’t you know. Got his start by managing to pioneer the operation to undo an irreversible wedgie, and then by treating and rehabilitating the bullies on Bully Island. Ain’t no kid a lost cause to him. Ankle biters love him. He leans fully into his accent, describing them like special animals or even offering to help with their homework. He knows the secret to spelling Mississippi with a Q, after all.

Abby is an activist, one most famous for her work in killing the “Bill of No Rights for Kids” legislation that was lobbied for by the remnants of Evil Adult Industries Inc. She’s a noted public speaker, and a writer as well. Her and Nigel collaborate frequently. And (keep this on the down low) but she’s also Soopreme Soopervisor for the Adult Branch of the Kids Next Door. She does a lot! Nigel teases her she works too much. She is currently training her replacement, she wants more time with her family!

Abby was looking through up in the attic cleaning until she found a family portrait of Abby mother with her mother( Maybelle) . Abby discovered that her grandmother is the nightmare queen who give horrible nightmares to children during fourth through sixth age of knd . She discovered this story in the Seriously Cool Museum.

Abby thought it was just a scary story that adults tell their kids to behave. Abby didn’t believe there was DNK organization that protected kids in their dreams.
