Wukong's Worst Skin: Lancer Stratus Wukong should be so cool. It isn't.

Lancer Stratus Wukong... should be cool. Mechs are cool, giant mechs are cooler, this skin should be an easy knockout. And it almost gets there. Like 99% of the way there. The design is theoretically... good, it looks great in the splash art... but it just doesn't look good on Wukong.

Just as the animation of Volcanic Wukong helps sell him as a fidgety little firebrand, the animation of Lancer Stratus Wukong completely undercuts his concept, and demonstrates that even if the design is good in theory, it's a bad fit for the champion. Wukong's high-speed twitching, his fidgeting and his butt-scratching just completely undercuts the skin concept. Giant mecha skins work on champions like Sion and Aatrox in part because they naturally have weight and momentum to their animation, they feel big and weighty. Wukong feels tiny and flighty, he feels light and insubstantial, and while maybe a sleeker, more organic-inspired design could have gotten around it, this design is meant to be a building sized combat mecha, and Wukong's animation just can't support the concept.

All of Wukong's other skins work with his animation (maybe except Battle Academia), Lancer Stratus is killed by the disconnect. In my opinion anyway.

If you were given the chance by Riot to pick who canonically won the fight over Kayn's body, would you go with Rhaast or shadow assassin?

Don’t don’t don’t don’t don’t ask me this because I will let my heavily opinionated rhaayn brain prevent me from cooking up something good.

(They can’t be divorced…)

But also the thing is, if Rhaast were to win, Zed loses the disciple and Shurima (or the darkin rather) gains another power that could eventually lead to the actual happening of the darkin expansion in lor; where Aatrox succeeds in oblivions or xolaani succeeds in her world domination etc. Etc.

(Obvs that will never happen and Rhaast taking over may end differently but I choose to believe in the concept arts of Rhaast choosing Kayn over his allegiance with aatrox)

If Kayn becomes the shadow assassin and wins, I find it a little difficult to see the continuation of the darkin storyline just because Rhaast is one of the four original darkins that were allied with Aatrox (look I’m also a little biased about Aatrox :P)

It’s kinda interesting that their entire thing is about who wins over who. They’re always fighting in every skin line even when the third and best option is presented.

There is canonically the possibility to merge/blend with each other. I’m gonna be dead honest here, most fics where Rhaast gains a second body is like taking 1000 mg of that copium in one sitting. Truthfully, I don’t think that will ever happen. Blend, yes but not separating and still staying together.

In the end… I’m just a faithful merging believer. I think that’s the most possible and best outcome for the audience and the characters. It might happen if they both pushed their pride down a little bit.

Otherwise, if their battle continues, Rhaast will win (I think…). If not immediately then give it another 50 years when Kayn gets old. Rhaast will eventually get to take over or return to the prison as Kayn returns to the earth.

Hello everyone !

After a long time, i finally finished my Mermaid Morgana & Aatrox Fan-Concept !

This is a concept for a musical AU from a new band from the League of Legends that I invented, called FirstBlood.

It would be a band that would mix some rock genres, such as progressive, pop rock, indie, among others.

The members: Kalista as vocalist; Aatrox as vocalist and guitarist; VI as drummer; Viktor as multi-instrumentalist; Xerath as manager and founder, and Has'Ur (my oc) as bassist and co-founder of the band.
