Когда это место пустует, Аарон всегда перекатывается на его сторону и утыкается в подушку, пропитанную запахом цитрусового шампуня. А еще у Аарона есть привычка фоткать своего парня, пока тот не видит и эти фото тоже остаются ему, когда он чувствует себя неуютно одиноким. Вот на этом - Дэй вчера утром, когда только ��роснулся, чтобы собраться и уехать в аэропорт. А это фото с их совместного отдыха два месяца назад. Миньярд улыбается. Когда Дэй не знает, что его фотографируют, он выглядит расслабленным, не как чертов голливудский актёр, а более мягким, домашним, таким, каким его видит только Аарон. Кевин, кстати, однажды нашел эти снимки и удивился, потому что не помнил, чтобы его фотографировали. Тогда Аарон вздохнул, поняв, что надо сдаваться в своей странной привычке и признаваться. Дэя это повеселило, а Аари был смущен и немного раздражен, хоть и понимал, что у этого смеха, отнюдь не издевательская подоплёка. Он даже на какое-то время перестал так делать, пока однажды на экране Дэя не проступили обои на фоне звонка его тренера. И там был Аарон. Без футболки, точнее в процессе её одевания. Миньярд помнил этот день, они гуляли на набережной и он тогда неаккуратно капнул на себя мороженным и оттирал пятно, смочив ткань водой, купленной в ближайшем ларьке. Парнишка расплылся в искренней улыбке и отнес телефон своему парню. Кев тогда ещё вздернул вопросительно брови, мол, чего такой радостный, но Аарон помотал головой и снова усмехнулся, пока Дэй начал отвечать на звонок. С тех пор он снова начал делать свои шпионские фото, оставляя их себе как кусочки воспоминаний. Повседневных, мимолетных и таких важных.

Бывают хреновые дни, бывают хреновые решения. А бывает, что уродское решение — единственный выход.

Поэтому после восемнадцатилетия оба близнеца пошли в стриптиз. Если вы думаете, что они вертятся на шесте, то все не так. Братья, конечно, танцевали, но чаще стягивали с себя одежду, позволяя мятым купюрам скользить за пояс брюк или трусов, которые больше показывали, чем скрывали.

Почему так получилось? Ники тут не приехал к ним и парни жили у Лютера. Петля религиозного фанатика туго затягивала шеи, дышать становилось просто невозможно. Вот они и ушли, стоило им достигнуть совершеннолетия.

Сначала устроились подрабатывать в бар, но этого не хватало на нормальное жилье, сносное питание и покупку вещей. Трудно сказать, кто первым предложил этот вариант, но дорожка нужды привела их стриптизу. Разумеется, всегда найдутся умники, которые спросят «почему не на порно сайты?». Ответ прост, как первый снег. У них не было денег на аппаратуру, ноутбуки и прочую лабуду. А на херовый ролик на дешевый телефон никто не купится.

Близнецы в этом беспределе давно, уже пошел пятый год. Они привыкли к чужим рукам на своей коже, к чужим сальным словам, к своей похабной улыбочке, которая чуть ли не контрактом прописана. Были обходительны со всеми: дамами, парнями, мужчинами.

И ведь они начали зарабатывать гораздо больше нужного минимума, но привыкнув к деньгам, как было отказаться от достатка, от красивых шмоток, от спа процедур, от приличной хаты, стоящей гораздо дороже, чем раньше.

Все это сложилось в один путь.

Братья ходят в спортзал, поддерживают кожу в идеальном состоянии благодаря маслам и кремам, питаются правильно и каждый раз обнажаются перед незнакомцами.

В один из вечеров команда «Воронов» праздновала свою победу в турнире и решила порадовать себя чем-нибудь пикантным, тем более Натаниэль уже давно слышал про этих «близнецов похоти».

Но действительность оказалась куда лучш��.

Веснински всегда предпочитал парней. Сильных, с энергетикой загнанного хищника, диких, чтобы потом все горло было искусано, а дырка сладко саднила. Нат никогда не ошибался в выборе партнера и сейчас, запихивая медленно купюру под чужие кожаные шорты, Натаниэль чувствует, как между ним и танцором искрит, как парень позволяет ему облапать свой торс и сжать бугор ширинки.

Веснински нашел себе фаворита. Подарки, посещения, приватные танцы, голодные поцелуи за клубом, выдыхание сизого дыма друг другу в рот. Мотель, смятая кровать, начало нового спортивного сезона.

Веснински перешел в новую лигу, ему больше не надо было представлять за свой спиной черные крылья, теперь он в другой команде и клетка гнезда пусть и не отпустила его, но давала небольшую волю.

Он упрашивает Эндрю бросить все это и переехать в квартирку, которую он для них купит. Просит заняться каким-нибудь обычным бизнесом и ждать его с игр. Но все упирается в близнеца любовника. Тогда Нат решается на не шибко красивый жест относительно своего друга. Кевина бросила Тея, об этом кричали все таблоиды, поэтому Натаниэль почти считал, что помогает Дэю, хоть и используя в своих интересах.

Свести Кевина и близнеца Эндрю оказалось задачей не из простых. Один не любил стриптиз-бары, другой — спорт. Но рыжий не был бы самим собой, не реши он этот ребус.

Как итог эти двое реально умудрились замутить и, кажется, весьма серьезно. Поэтому Эндрю все же соглашается уехать с ним, зная, что Кевин тоже вытащит его брата из той паутины разврата, в которую их забросила жизнь.

Наверное, иногда вороны все-таки приносят весточку о счастье.

You know what I always think about. Neil learned German in three years. In the books he said that he spent three years in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and my German ass is like ???? So here are my thoughts about that. Yes, Germany’s and Austria’s mother tongue is German but Switzerland? It depends on the region because Switzerland has a German, Italian and French region and even if it’s the German, most Swiss speak “Schweizerdeutsch�� (swiss german) which most native German speakers don’t understand or only partly (me included). ((Though, I have to add that Swiss’ speak Swiss german but they also speak “Hochdeutsch” (high german) which is the German you would learn in school)) AND the Austrians have a really heavy dialect which is also really hard to understand, even for native speakers. Also we have in Germany about 30+ dialects and I just imagine Neil speaking with a wild mix of everything. But now, here comes the worst.

Stuttgart is in Baden Württemberg (on of our states) and they speak SWABIAN (Schwäbisch) {If you are interested/curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpEimFXYqTs&ab_channel=EasyGerman it has English subtitles.

That means that at least Erik speaks Schwäbisch. And I can only imagine the confusion Andrew and Aaron had when they met him, told him that they can speak German and Erik started to talk in his dialect.

And since Neil was in these three countries he probably spent most of his time in the South of Germany which means he probably has a wild mix of Schwäbisch, Baverian and High German. Which also means he understand every single word Erik says and Nicky is really jealous because he still has problems with that. I also want to add that Neil is so fucking smart that he could learn a language like German in three years with probably so many different dialects thrown at him

Thinking about this again. Aaron Minyards characterization goes crazy dude

Aaron Minyard is a dick yes but he’s a dick because he’s a scared ex-addict kid who’s desperately clawing at anything he can to be “normal” and not a Fox™.

Date the sweet cheerleader who also wants to be a doctor, get the 4.0 gpa, become a surgeon, Stay Away From The Foxes because association means he’s damaged and he’s Not Damaged anymore and definitely don’t talk to the therapist because that means he needs help which he Does Not Need. Keep the appearance of the “normal Minyard”.

He grew up in an abusive home with an addict mother who made him into an addict. Keeping up the normal appearance has been the name of the game his entire life, it’s second nature. Don’t let anyone suspect anything. Being apart of the Foxes comes with a reputation and that scares Aaron, it threatens a rickety appearance he’s oh so carefully built to protect himself from others (and mostly himself tbh).

Being an asshole and outwardly a dick is his trauma response. It’s the result of his refusal to process and come to terms with his past. He’s a dick to others because he’s the biggest dick to himself.

(Me personally, I also think his homophobia comes from a place of internalized shame and homophobia. Once again, he grew up with it drilled into him that he Needs to be “normal” and put together and I assume he probably also grew up religious ((his uncles a homophobic pastor who boarder line hates his own son)). Aaron grew up seeing how Nicky was treated for being openly gay. If he started having any thoughts about being anything other than straight, his first response would be anger and shame that’s expressed outwardly.)

His response to his internal shame and anger is to lash outwards at others rather than process it. (which isn’t an excuse, I just don’t think he’s an asshole because he’s an asshole at his core but because he carries a lot of shame.)

I think him rooming with Matt is what would really help him improve his ability to process his shit. (Along with more joint therapy with Bee and Andrew). Seeing Matt, another ex addict, who is fiercely kind and protective of the Foxes, who’s unashamed of his past and how it affects him now would be an eye opener for Aaron. His past doesn’t define him but it’s not something he can deny either.

Matt helps him see the Foxes as a group who has overcome their struggles. Who are helping eachother continue to over come their struggles. And he slowly starts to realize he can let them in and he can accept his past and still be successful and have the life he wants. And start to process and change the way he reacts the way he does.

(And process his not straight thoughts bc bi Aaron is real in my heart)

Can we talk about how amazing Nicky is for a second? He left the love of his life, Erik Klose, when he found out that Andrew and Aaron were in the foster system or whatever. He just left Erik. Still a couple, of course. But when he left, he did everything for them and he doesn't even get anything back. Not even a simple "Thank you." Nicky deserves a lot of credit.
